Chapter 261: Kalifa's Thoughts

The group headed to the Bridge of hesitation, with Kalifa leading the way.

"Are you sure we're going the right way." Said Ino.

"Of course it is." Said Kalifa.

"You are a member of CP9… how can we trust you." Said Ino.

Kalifa stopped.

"Ino, don't say that." Said Kiba.

"It's fine…" said Kalifa, "Come on…"

They continued to follow her.

Back with Zoro…

The fighting had gotten fierce, even with "Pasta Machine", Kaku had taken to use swords in the fight…

It seemed to be even until Zoro used an attack, Kaku used Kami-e to get away. But the attack still hit.

"I could have sworn I dodged." He thought.

With the other group… they had found the arrows that Chimney painted.

"Oh… you don't need to lead us any more." Said Ino.

"Yeah…" said Kalifa, "I don't."

"So how about you just leave us alone?" asked Ino, "You can say that we kidnapped you or something."

"But I really do want to help you." Sighed Kalifa.

"Why?" asked Ino.

Kalifa gritted her teeth.

"I have my reasons…" she muttered.

Oh really? What?" asked Ino.

"I knew Spandam since I was a child… and he should never be put in charge of CP9." Said Kalifa.

There was an awkward silence.

"Okay…" said Ino.

"Wait is this about your job?" asked Kiba.

"A little…" said Kalifa.

They all stared at her with sweat drops.

"Look, this botch isn't the first I've seen from him, frankly his entire existence is sexual harassment." Said Kalifa, "Plus he's weaker than an average marine."

"So you mean if my brother was here even he could kick his ass?" asked Kiba.

"Since when have you been in denial…" mumbled Isaribi.

"So you want to quit in a spectacular way?" asked Ino with a sweat drop.

"I do." Said Kalifa.

"So this is what it's all about?" asked Ino messaging a headache.

"Shouldn't we be going to save Robin and not talk about if she on our side of not?" asked Sasuke.

"Oh you are right!" said Ino.

"Come on! Let's go!" said Isaribi.

They headed towards where the arrows were pointing.

Back with Zoro, the fight was getting fierce.

And it was during this fight, Kaku briefly stopped.

"For a second he appeared to be a demon god with three heads and six arms." Thought Kaku.

"You're getting sloppy." Muttered Zoro.

Kaku glared at him…

Somehow he knew the battle would end soon.

Back with the group they continued to run, when suddenly Naruto suddenly appeared in half demon form and tried to attack Kalifa.

"What are you doing?" asked Kalifa.

"Stopping you from attacking my friends!" yelled Naruto.

"She's on our side you idiot." Said Sasuke.

"What? Really?" asked Naruto as Gaara walked next to him.

"Sorry I didn't tell him." Said Gaara.

"You should have!" yelled Ino and Kiba knowing the way Naruto was.

"By the way how did the recue go?" asked Kiba.

"He didn't have to help me." said Naruto.

"I left for no reason as it turns out." Said Gaara.

"But it could have been worse." Admitted Naruto, "I just got lucky he used Sea Stone on me…"

"We should be recusing Robin…" muttered Kyubi.

"Oh right! Come on!" yelled Naruto following the arrows.

"No one said anything." Said Kalifa.

"Naruto hears voices…" said Sasuke.

He and the other followed him leaving Kalifa confused.

"He can hear the Kyubi remember…" said Gaara.

"Oh… right…" said Kalifa.

"You start thinking about what you want…" said Gaara.

"What do you mean?" asked Kalifa.

"I can tell your entire life was working for the CP9 wasn't it?" asked Gaara.

Kalifa didn't respond.

"What you do want to do…" said Gaara.

Gaara ran over to join to others.

"What I do I want do?" thought Kalifa.

Meanwhile with Sakura and Franky both of them got to where Luffy was fighting Lucci.

"Sakura!" said Luffy, then he saw Sakura carrying Chopper, "What happened to Chopper?"

"Long story…" sighed Sakura.

"So you need help?" asked Franky.

"Why would I want your help!" yelled Luffy, "I only ant Sakura's help!"

"I'm not going to help." Said Sakura, "I'm going to protect Chopper."

"What!" yelled Luffy.

"He's hurt…" said Sakura, "Besides, Franky has been helping us, right now he's carrying two of the keys."

Luffy began to pout.

"Fine…" he muttered, "But I'm going to be handling him!"

Back with the group, as they ran, Kalifa thought about what she wanted.

Kalifa's father was a member of the CP9… in fact he was there when Ohara was destroyed. As she thought more was it really her choice to join the CP9? Or was it her father's doing.

"What do I want in life?" thought Kalifa.

Back with Zoro the fight with Kaku was getting fierce.

However Zoro was able to do something…

The thing that Kaku saw had returned. Zoro now had three heads and 6 arms.

It wasn't known how it was done, it might have been illusions, it might have been through sheer will power, but Zoro now appeared to have that many heads and that many arms.

Kaku was in shock, but still continued his attack.

However Zoro with managed to slice through his attack.

With his strange attack, Zoro was able to defeat Kaku once and for all.

Back with the group, both Naruto and Gaara stopped.

"Wait… I bet my brother's having a fight with Panther guy." Said Naruto.

"He's a leopard." Said Kalifa.

"Whatever!" said Naruto, "My point is that fight is going to be messy! We need to find another way!"

"But there is no other way!" said Kalifa.

"There's my way." Said Gaara.

Gaara headed in the other direction.

"What's his way?" asked Kalifa.

"It involves a lot of sand." Said Ino.

Kalifa remember the fight back in Water 7.

"Who is he?" asked Kalifa.

"He's the holder of the Ichibi…" said Naruto.

"I thought you knew that…" said Ino.

"That's not what I meant." Said Kalifa.

"Tell her "it's not time for her to be thinking profound thoughts about what her life really meas." It's not going to help us in any ways." Said Kyubi.

"No…" said Naruto.

"Aw… geez…" muttered Kyubi.

Back with Zoro… Kaku had regained his human form.

"Hey, I got a message for you from the head of Galley-La." Said Zoro, "You guys are fired."

Kaku sighed, "Paulie said that… They say that assassins can't find any other jobs." He said.

"There's always the zoo." Said Zoro.

Kaku, laughed, "You got that right."

He took out his key then fell unconscious and dropped it.

And with that Zoro won his fight with Kaku…

And so they had all of the keys, but the real question was if they would make in time to save Robin…

Only time will tell.
