A/N: Sorry I meant to get to this before Fanime, but one day I was unable to do certain reasons, I forgot about the day after that... and then I went into vacation mode... sorry... Anyways enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 268: Reasons Of Heroes and Villains

Garp was saying good-bye to his grandson, said good bye involved punching and yelling. Turns out the reason why he came was a favor for Koby and Helmeppo.

After he left, Naruto and Luffy talked to Koby and Helmeppo outside.

Inside, the others had a meal.. well most of them.

"That old man is like a whirlwind." Muttered Sanji.

"I can't believe that Luffy is related to Dragon." Said Robin.

"I can…" said Sasuke.

"At least Naruto isn't related to Dragon because that would be just weird." Said Ino.

"I'm sure Naruto's related to someone weirder." Joked Robin.

"So why aren't you two talking them?" asked Sanji.

"It's novice to see Koby, but those are the ones who saved him." Said Zoro.

"Also with Helmeppo it would just be awkward." Muttered Sasuke.

"So where's the others?" asked Sanji.

"Hinata has to run an errand." Said Robin.

"And Nami wanted to learn more about the Marines but I think she gave as she's at the pool with Isaribi and Sakura." Said Ino.

"There's a pool?" asked chopper.

"Yeah. It's out back." Said Ino.

Meanwhile, Garp was walking back to his ship.

"Garp!" said Hinata.

Garp turned around and saw Hinata.

"Well isn't it Hinata." Said Garp, "Have you changed your mind want to join the marines after all…"

"No." said Hinata, "I wanted to talk to you in private."

Garp looked at Hinata.

"Fine…" he muttered.

Garp turned to his men.

"I'll join you later! I just have to talk to her." He said.

The two found a private place to talk.

"What did you want to talk about." Said Garp.

"IT's just I noticed something…" said Hinata, "I know you see Naruto as a grandson."

"What? How do you know that?" asked Garp.

"Well you are the one to teach him about clones… and I doubt you would have you didn't…" said Hinata.

Garp laughed, "You have a point there."

"Why… why didn't you ever push Naruto to join the Marines?" asked Hinata.

Garp sighed, "So you noticed?" he asked.

"You pushed Luffy, Ace, but never Naruto." Said Hinata.

"Naruto didn't need it." Explained Garp.

"What?" asked Hinata.

"Now you know about Luffy's father." Said Garp, "If Luffy and Ace become Marines they wouldn't have to bear their fathers' sins… but Naruto…"

Hinata was silent.

"Everyone knows that Naruto's father gave his life to fight the Kyubi and protect the village and the island." Explained Garp, "If the World Government ever found who Naruto's father was they wouldn't care."

"I see…": said Hinata.

"I get why you're asking." Said Garp with a grin, "You like him."

Hinata began to blush, "I… I should get back to my crew."

Hinata walked away, while Garp laughed a little.

Meanwhile outside of the Galley-La building Naruto was finishing up a story about what happened to them…

"So thanks to the seal Sasuke went a little nuts and tired to join Orochimaru." Said Naruto, "But after we beat him up he find now…"

"That's good." Said Koby.

"So how did you get the grand line?" asked Luffy.

"Did you go up the mountain like we did?" asked Naruto.

"No we went though the calm belt." Said Koby, "The Marine Ships can do that, but it's not 100 percent safe."

"That's cheating!" yelled Luffy.

"Wait how did you get through it, the Sanbi is there along with many Sea Kings." Said Naruto.

"No actually Marine ships are line with sea stone." Said Koby, "It allows Sea Kings to not noticed ships."

As he talked about how the ships worked he didn't know nearby was a Snail Phone.

At the pool Nami was listening on a Black Snail Phone.

"Seriously Nami, I can't beloved you're doing this." Muttered Sakura who was in the pool.

Nami shushed her.

"The energy of the ocean… so that's how they do it." Said Nami.

Sakura sighed.

"Why won't she come in." mumbled Chimney.

"Oh come you really expect her to drop this one in a life time chance to get the marines' secrets?" asked Isaribi.

"That's what Hinata's for." Said Sakura.

"Wait… has Hinata even told us any of the secrets of the Marines." Said Isaribi.

Sakura didn't say anything.

However Nami knew that valuable information part was done and joined them in the pool.

Back with the group talking.

"What you're leaving already!" yelled Naruto.

"But please eat with us first." Said Luffy.

"Sorry but we're enemies so we can't be friendly to each other." said Koby.

"He right…" said Hinata joining in, "I had some friends back in Rouge Town but I can't be friends with them anymore.

Luffy began to pout.

"Luffy, do you know what the second half of the grand line is called." Said Koby.

Luffy and Naruto didn't answer.

"On the other side of the grand line, the end of the ocean, is a place they call the New World!" said Koby.

"The new World…" said Luffy liking the sound of it.

"There's a new age coming, the people who can guide that new age are gathering on that ocean!" said Koby, "and the one who can masters it will be King of the Pirates."

"Can you please tell him "Thank you captain obvious?" asked Kyubi?

Naruto only responded with a sweat drop.

"I will be the one to catch you! I will train hard for it!" said Koby, "One day I will be an Admiral!"

Koby realized what he just said and began to blush and get embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry! I was caught up in the moment." He said.

"Koby! You're going to fight me right! Then keep up that attitude." Said Luffy.

"But Luffy… and admiral is…" said Koby.

"Next time we meet I'll be stronger, much stronger." Said Luffy.

"Luffy…" said Koby.

"What are you still a crybaby?" asked Zoro.

"I thought you had changed." Said Sasuke.

Koby bowed down to Luffy.

"I'm so glad I saw you today!" said Koby, he got back on his feet, "We'll become much stronger! And next we'll meet it will be in the new world."

Helmeppo also made a similar pronouncement but he's not that important so it doesn't need to revealed.

"Wow… that's kind of sad." Said Kyubi.

And so Koby and Helmeppo ran off, with the promise to fight Luffy again.

"Why does Luffy get the good Marine enemies?" asked Naruto.

"You have Neji." Said Hinata.

"But he not cool like Helmeppo." Muttered Naruto.

Hinata giggled at that response.

Elsewhere in town, Kalifa was at a café. However she disguises herself well, wearing a blue wig and using a different posture and different expressions, people who knew her would guess that they were related.

Usopp saw drinking some tea and reading the newspaper.

"Hey." Said Usopp taking a seat.

The last few days they begrudgingly stayed together in a hotel room. As both of them didn't have much money at the moment.

Kalifa nodded.

"So did you say anything to them yet?" asked Kalifa.

Usopp was silent.

"So what are you going to do?" asked Usopp changing the subject.

Kalifa scared at him and sighed.

"I have no idea…" she admitted, "I'm just waiting for news to spread about what happened…"

"What do you mean?" asked Usopp.

"I want to find out what happened to the others… but I don't know if I will be able to." Said Kalifa.

Usopp realized she meant the CP9.

"I would prefer to find them… but if your captain offers me a position and I have no other option I'll take it." Said Kalifa.

"He's not my captain." Said Usopp.

"But you want to rejoin don't you?" asked Kalifa.

Usopp was silent.

"Knowing him he'll make us the scape goats…" said Kalifa, "and if that happens."

"You know…" said Usopp, "Have you even talked to Iceberg?"

"Are you insane… what do you take me for?" asked Kalifa, "Why do you think I've been wearing disguises? I was luckily he didn't do anything as we were brought back here."

"Okay… so we both have been avoiding the same thing." Said Usopp.

"Yeah…" sighed Kalifa.

"Well I'm going back, knowing Luffy a party will break out soon. "said Usopp, "Come on."

"What?" asked Kalifa.

"I'm going." Said Usopp, "Or rather Sogeking is…"

"I still don't get how Luffy is the only one who doesn't see it." Muttered Kalifa.

"You had a role in this too so come on." Said Usopp.

"Fine, if it will get you off my back." Sighed Kalifa.

Turns out when they got there, Sanji was grilling up some kabobs.

"What are you doing here Sogeking." Said Zoro with a sweat drop.

"I arrived with him." Said Kalifa.

Sanji's eyes erupted in hearts.

"Oh Ka…" said Sanji.

"Call me Aries." Said Kalifa, "I don't want to go by my real name right now."

"Okay! Aries!" said Sanji.

Soon enough the Franky family showed up… and soon after that the Ship Wrights of Galley-La. Of course… Kalifa… err… "Aires" flinched when she saw them but Nami and Sakura assured her that they'll help her avoid them.

Also the giants came with Galley-La.

So yeah… it became a giant party… pardon the stupid pun.

During the party, Robin leaned against a wall.

During this time Aokiji had shown up and they talked.

During the conversation, Naruto saw the way she looked.

When she ran off to check on something, Naruto followed her.

"Robin? What's wrong?" asked Naruto.

"It's nothing…" sized Robin.

She looked at Naruto.

"You know… there's something I should tell you." Said Robin.

"What?" asked Naruto.

"Years ago, I had the offer to continue my travels with the 4th Hokage." Said Robin, "It wasn't long before his earth…"

"Oh… wow…" said Naruto.

"For years I rerated not choosing it…" said Robin, "But now… I do for a different reason..."

"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Naruto.

"I would have met you and Luffy sooner." Said Robin.

Naruto laughed.

"I wonder what would have happened if that happened." Said Kyubi.

…

"So no Spin-off?" asked Kyubi.

No way… no longer spin-off crazy…

"Who are you talking to…" thought Naruto.

"You know… you're a lot like him." Said Robin.

"Wow… " said Naruto, "I don't know about that…"

"Naruto…" said Robin.

"What?" asked Naruto.

Robin was about to say something but stopped herself, "Never mind…"

Naruto began to pout, "Great…" muttered Naruto.

"Hey Robin!" yelled Luffy with his face stuffed with food, "You eating enough meat?"

Robin laughed.

" Well... I think that ends her problems…" said Kyubi, "Though I think I know what she was trying to tell you…"

"What?" asked Naruto.

"Not my place to tell you… and it wasn't hers either…" said Kyubi.

"Great…" thought Naruto.

While the party was in full swing none of them knew at that very moment a few meetings were going on… meetings that might very well change the fate of the world…
