Chapter 275: Dem Bones
It was just a normal day for the newly christened Thousand Sunny. Naruto, Luffy, Usopp and Kiba were fishing.
That was when they caught a shark.
"All right! Let's go put in the fish tank!" said Luffy.
"Um… I don't think this is a good idea." Said Kiba.
"Come on it's going to be cool!" said Naruto.
Isaribi saw them putting the shark into the tank.
"You know this is only going to end badly." Said Isaribi.
"How? It safely inside of it's tank." Said Luffy.
Down below, Sanji, Franky, Robin and Ino were enjoying the aquarium, that was when they saw the shark.
"Great those idiots put a shark in." mumbled Ino.
Of course the shark began to eat all of the fish causing those in the room to sweat drop.
That was when the group that caught the shark came into the room.
"Hey did the shark make it in, you know the big one with the horns." Said Luffy.
"It ate all of the fish." Said Robin.
"Bye bye fish…" said Kyubi.
"Well it looks like I have opt take care of it." Sighed Isaribi.
Elsewhere on the ship Sakura was making sure that everyone's sections of the library was organized. Well actually it was because her section was next to Sanji's and she didn't want to mix her books with his.
"Great… he just had to put this here." Said Sakura.
That was when she dropped it and she saw the picture in it, she began to blush profusely.
"Is everything all right." said Hinata.
"I'm fine!" said Sakura blushing while hiding the book behind her back.
Elsewhere Nami was just finishing a bah praising the new tub, meanwhile in the sick bay Chopper was just lying on the new bed.
Sasuke and Zoro were training in the crow's nest which also seconded as a gym.
"Why is this the gym?" asked Gaara who was doing look out.
"Don't ask us." Said Sasuke.
That was when Gaara saw something floating in the water. Using the ship's new intercom, he called out "There's something floating in the water…"
They went to see and saw a barrel floating there, with the word "Treasure" on it.
Turns out it was something that said "Treasure to the Sea God".
"So what are is it exactly?" asked Naruto.
"Isn't it obvious, it's trues sue!" said Luffy.
"It's preserved food and some booze." Said Nami.
"How do you know?" asked Luffy.
"It's an offering to a sea god, it's a practice known as barrel drifting." Said Nami.
"Let's open it!" said Luffy.
"No way! It's bad karma!" said Usopp.
"It's fine as long as you pray." Said Nami.
"I pray to no god." Muttered Zoro.
"We get it you're an atheist." Said Isaribi.
"Didn't he only bring it up once before?" asked Naruto.
"I just wanted to say it." She admitted causing some of them to sweat drop.
"All right I'm, praying." Said Luffy.
"Says the guy who defeated a god…" said Sasuke.
"Come on open it." Said Isaribi, "I'm hungry."
"Seriously? What got you so hungry?" asked Kiba.
"Maybe if some people hadn't put a shark into the fish tank I wouldn't be!" she yelled.
"All right! Let's open it!" said Luffy.
He opened it and suddenly a bright flash of light came out of it.
"A flare?" asked Sakura.
"She's right." Said Robin, "I hope it's just a prank."
"Do you think it was a trap?" asked Hinata.
"Someone's probably spying on us right now." Said Kyubi.
Naruto sweat dropped.
That was when Nami sensed it.
"A storm's coming." She said.
Everyone got ready.
"Wait a storm?" asked Franky.
"Nami has the unexplained ability to sense a storm." Explained Naruto.
"I see…" said Franky with a sweat drop.
As the storm arrived things got bad as they had a headwind. However…
"You think that the Coup De Vent is all this ship can do! Time to get out the paddles!" said Franky.
He used the ship's unique should dock system to get out of the paddles the ship had, like the cannon it ran on cola…
They managed to get out of the storm in no time.
However once they got out of the storm the sky was still dark, but this time it was just fog.
"What's up with this fog?" asked Kiba.
"We must have drifted there…" said Franky.
"What do you mean there?" asked Naruto, "So you're saying we're no where near Fish Man Island?"
"Nope… we're not at the Fire Works Factory yet…" said Kyubi.
Naruto sweat dropped at Kyubi's name for the place.
"The Florian Triangle, also known as the demon's triangle." Said Franky, "A place where ship disappeared into darkness."
"What?" asked Usopp who was on the verge of tears.
"Oh yeah there's ghosts here." Said Luffy.
"What do you mean ghosts!" cried Usopp, "How do you know about it!"
"Kokoro told us." Said Kiba, "You weren't with us at the time."
"Oh yeah, she told us about the living skeleton." Laughed Luffy.
"You're the one who came up with the living skeleton." Said Sasuke.
"I don't know why but there's something about a living skeleton that remain me of something…" said Naruto.
"If need be I'll remind you…" said Kyubi, "Unless Ino or Sakura remembers it too…"
"Look Usopp there's not to be afraid of, all right." Said Kiba.
"All right." Said Usopp.
"Listen to me Usopp." Said Sanji taking a match to his face acting like a flashlight, "Many ships."
"It's not funny!" yelled Kiba punching Sanji in the face while Akamaru turned into Kiba's clone who kicked him in the leg.
Usopp just stared at the site.
"That's sweet." Said Hinata.
"What is?" asked Usopp.
"Kiba trying to find his own way to patch things up between you two." Said Hinata.
Usopp smiled and nodded.
However with Usopp clamed down everything should be fine.
Well it would be had there not been a creepy voice singing a song.
"What is that?" asked Sakura.
"I don't know… but I'm getting the creeps." Said Isaribi.
They saw a large ship approaching.
"A ghost ship!" yelled everyone but Robin and Gaara.
"It's a cursed ship! And there's evil spirits sing the song! Don't listen to it or else you'll be cursed." Yelled Usopp.
"That's what I get for trying to defend him…" muttered Kiba.
"Something's on the ship…" said Gaara.
"What could it be?" asked Robin.
"Whatever it is we should cut it down." Said Zoro with a smirk.
That was when they saw it, on the ship was a skeleton, with an afro singing and drinking tea…
Yes, that is was they saw… not kidding at all.
Of course Luffy and Naruto wanted to go on board. Hinata decided to accompany them since they needed someone to watch over them…
Nami went along since she was under the belief that Hinata was an enabler for them, and Sanji went with them to protect Nami.
"Why are we doing this!" yelled Nami, "I want to go back!"
"You insisted on coming!" said Naruto.
"Can't blame her… knowing you guys that skeleton's going to join the crew." Said Kyubi.
"We didn't need you to come along." Said Luffy.
"You two would have causes a curse, and Hinata wouldn't have done anything to stop you two!" said Nami
As they climbed aboard the Skelton saw them.
When they fully climbed aboard the skeleton laughed with "Yohoho!"
"Good day to you… sorry for not introducing myself to you sooner!" said the skeleton, "I've been alone for decades having no one else to talk to."
"The skeleton is also talking!" sad Luffy.
"Devil Fruit." Said Kyubi.
"Yeah… probably…" said Naruto.
"Oh what do we have here!" said the skeleton, "such a beautiful woman… it's been so long since I've seen one."
"Well…" said Naruto blushing a little.
"May I take a peak at your panties?" asked the skeleton.
Nami punched the skeleton so hard he had a huge lump.
"I like him." Said Kyubi.
"Really?" asked Naruto.
"He's weird and after my own heart… so year…" said Kyubi, "Plus he's not mentally traumatizing like Franky."
Luffy was laughing at what happened when he decided to ask a certain question.
"Can you still poo?" asked Luffy.
"What kind of question is that!" yelled Sanji.
"Yes in fact I can still poo!" said the skeleton.
"You didn't have to answer!" yelled Sanji.
Sanji began to rattle off a bunch of questions… however Luffy had a smile on his face, both Naruto and Hinata knew what it meant.
"Never mind all that! Do you want to join my crew?" asked Luffy.
However it was the skeleton's answer that made them all surprised.
"I'd love to!" said the skeleton.
"WHAT!" yelled Nami and Sanji.
Naruto and Hinata both laughed on the other hand…
Indeed, the crew now had a walking, talking skeleton with an afro on the crew…
Is it really that surprising though?
Next Time: They get to the know the skeleton better, however he has a problem, what kind of problem? And will it effect him really joining? Find out next time!
