A/N: As always it's my birthday! I got some DVDs from my parents and some money from my other relatives too... Also I made my cake. I posted a couple pictures on Tumblir... I haven't tried it yet but hopefully it's good... also I'm going to be another fanfics update today... but expect it later (it's the fic I meant to update yesterday... but I wasn't up to it... I wanted to get this one up first) Anyways enjoy the story!

Chapter 277: Thriller Bark

Brook was paralyzed with fright, after all he did admit he was terrified of ghosts and one was staring him right in the face.

"A ghost!" he yelled terrified.

The crew was shocked at the rather goofy looking ghost.

That was when everything began to shake.

"How can this be, are you already under salience?" asked Brook.

When they got out they saw something, something that looked like a closed mouth with teeth.

"The gate is in front of us…" said Brook.

"That's a gate?" asked Naruto.

"The shaking must have been the gate closing." Said Brook, "We have to look behind us."

They all went to rear deck.

"Please don't tell me you found a drifting barrel." Said Brook.

"Yeah… we did." Said Luffy.

"IS that a problem?" asked Naruto.

"When you opened that barrel you were in their sites." Said Brook.

"What do they mean?" asked Luffy.

"What the!" yelled Naruto.

In front of them was an island… which was odd as they anchored the ship when they met up with Brook.

"When die that island get there!" yelled Naruto.

"I'm going to have to say magic!" said Kyubi.

"What?" thought Naruto.

"Never mind…" said Kyubi.

"This is the ghost island that roams the seas, Thriller Bark." Said Brook.

"A flossing island, then how come the Log Pose isn't reacting to it…" said Nami.

"It won't, this island came all the way from the West Blue." Said Brook.

Everyone was just shocked at this.

"What luck!" said Brook happily, "Not only do I meet people but I also make my fondest wish come true!"

They were shocked when Brook jumped to the figure head.

"He's so agile…" said Sanji in shock.

"That's right! Nothing but bones, that's why I'm so light!" laughed Brook who then became serious, "Now you must break through those gates and escape. What ever you do you must not land your anchor on shore."

"He doesn't know Luffy that well…" sighed Sakura.

"Yeah…" said Ino.

"I am overjoyed at being able to meet you today! Thank you so much for a wonderful meal, I will never forget it!" said Brook, "Farewell, I hope we meet again someday!"

"Hey! Brook wait!" said Luffy.

Before Luffy could say something, Brook jumped off the figure head.

"Hey Brook! Stop you ate a Devil Fruit! Don't!" yelled Luffy.

However everyone was surprised to see that he was running…

"He's running on water!" yelled Luffy.

"Now there's something you don't see everyday…" said Kiba.

"He came back from the dead and he can walk on water…" said Kyubi, "OH man…"

"What's wrong…" said Naruto.

"Never mind… too obvious…" said Kyubi.

Naruto sweat dropped not wanting to know what he was going to say.

"We have to get out of here now!" yelled Sakura.

"I have a bad feeling about that island…" said Sasuke.

"I agree with Sasuke!" said Ino.

Luffy looked back with the biggest grin possible and the air sparkling around him.

"Did you say something?" asked Luffy.

"Saw that coming…" sighed Kyubi.

The crew sighed.

"Called it…" said Sakura.

"You were just the one to say it…" said Ino.

Of course Usopp was freaked out the most, with Chopper and Nami not to far behind.

Thankfully Zoro saw the ghost fly to the island so it wasn't on board anymore.

Robin was looking at the strange mouth.

"That shaking was caused by the mouth gate closing." Said Robin.

"What do you mean?" asked Luffy.

"We were eaten by the mouth." Said Robin.

"Obviously.." said Naruto joining the conversation.

"I don't know if you can see it but there's a wall…" said Robin, "It seems to go around the entire island."

"Wait…. Then that means…" said Naruto.

"The ship is behind that wall…" said Robin.

Of course the rest of the crew heard this.

"That's why the skeleton told to get out of here as soon as possible!" yelled Usopp freaking out.

"This island is wandering around on purpose trapping people." Said Gaara.

"I wonder why…" said Nami.

"Well considering the island is moving we can't anchor here." Said Franky doing some poses.

"Why are you posing now?" asked Isaribi.

"Wait! Are we really going on the island! We have to leave now or we'll be cursed!" yelled Usopp.

"Okay! Stop this ship! We're getting off!" said Luffy with several packs and a net.

"Luffy…" said Kiba, "Why do you have that stuff."

"Oh I'm planning to catch a ghost and keep it as a pet!" said Luffy with a big grin.

Both Kiba looked at him as if he was an idiot.

"Either way Brook's part of our crew so I'm getting him back!" said Luffy.

"We can't have a skeleton join the crew." Said Usopp, "If he does I won't be able to sleep!"

"We have Gaara on the ship already." Said Kiba, "If anything he's creepier than a skeleton."

"What was that?" asked Gaara.

"Nothing! Noting at all." Said Kiba making Gaara sweat drop.

"Hey! Sanji!" yelled Luffy, "Get my the pirate lunch boxes!"

"Who's going!" said Sanji.

Obviously it was a Naruto was coming along, initially Hinata was going to sit this one out but this conversation happened.

"You are going!" said Ino.

"What why?" asked Hinata.

"You'll be going into a haunted house!" said Sakura, "It will be the perfect place to hook up with Naruto…"

Hinata sweat dropped.

"Fine… I'll go…" sighed Hinata, "But don't expect what your expecting to happen…"

Also Robin and Franky were coming along.

"Wait why are you two going?" asked Sakura honestly interested in what they had to say.

"It's existing exploring new Islands." Said Franky.

"I love a good thrill." Said Robin.

"All right! Cheered Luffy, "Let's go use a boat to get to the island!"

"But there's something great I haven't shown you yet." Said Franky.

"Solider Dock system's channel 2!" said Franky.

"You already showed us 1, 3 and the 0 panels, didn't you say 2 and 4 were empty." Said Usopp.

"That's because I wanted to surprise you!" said Franky he looked at Usopp, "If you have no intention of going on the island you should be one of the ones to try it out."

Usopp, Chopper, Ino and Nami all volunteered to try out Franky's surprise.

"Oh what's going to come out!" said Luffy.

"I'm going to guess something good… or a giant robot… knowing him he'll build a giant robot sooner or later…" said Kyubi.

"I don't think it's this soon…" thought Naruto.

"Yeah, you're probably right…" said Kyubi.

"Solider Dock System 2! Dispatch Shopping Ship… Mini-Merry!" called out Franky.

Indeed a small paddle boat that resembled the Going Merry.

"It's a steam powered paddle that seats 4." Said Franky.

Of course those riding it cheered a lot.

"Oh wow… that's so sweet." Said Hinata.

"Very thoughtful." Said Zoro.

"With that ship I can make as many trips as I want." said Sanji.

"It's perfect." Said Kiba.

"Come hurry up and Switch!" said Luffy.

"I want to ride it too!" said Naruto.

"Calm down, we'll be taking it to the island." Said Franky.

Franky took this time to pay himself on the back by describing the Solder Dock System, dock 1 had the Waver (which he rebuilt to have a horse head), dock 2 hat the Mini Merry, in Solder Dock three was a Submarine he called the Shark Submerge, and Dock 4 was really empty (so Kyubi's theory about a giant robot might come about one day).

"That is so awesome"! said Luffy really the only paying attention to him.

"They're taking too long." Said Sakura.

"I'm getting worried." Said Sanji.

That was when there was a crash and a scream.

"Nami! Ino!" yelled Sanji, "What's wrong did something happen?"

"This fog is really thick…" said Isaribi.

"What were they doing?" asked Zoro.

"IT came from the island." Said Gaara.

"Hurry up! I want to ride the Merry!" yelled Luffy.

"Me too!" yelled Naruto.

"You idioms!" yelled Sakura whacking the two in the head.

"We have to worry about Nami and Ino!" yelled Sanji.

"What about the other two?" asked Franky.

"That scream maybe they fell victim to the ghost's curse?" asked Robin.

"Please don't making comments like that." Sighed Isaribi.

That was when suddenly one of the anchors fell.

"The anchor moved on it's own." said Luffy.

"You think a gear got loose?" asked Isaribi.

"No way! This ship was just built…" said Franky, "There's no way a gear would loose."

Suddenly a hatch opened up.

"Kit…" said Kyubi, "Be on your guard, someone or something that's invisible is here!"

Naruto nodded…

With a mysterious invisible foe, the straw had to be ready… and even then what about the four on the Mini Merry… However everything was just begging on the Ghost Island called Thriller Bark…

Next Time: The Straw Hats on the ship face off against an invisible creatures... one that takes a strange interest in Robin. With the other group after encountering some strange things they get invited to the mansion... and as it turns out Chopper knows of the owner... who is it? Find out next time!
