Chapter 285: The Invisible Dog-Faced… Er… Lion-Faced Man

In the forest bridge… the zombies were questioning several things… such as why the new guy was able to defy the orders and how come he was so strong.

Many of the zombies were beaten up.

"A power that has immeasurable power, a power that cant control… and that power is named love!" said the dog penguin zombie.

"That's something Sanji would say…" said Nami.

"No kidding!" said Ino.

"Hey Inu-Peng!" said Usopp.

"Inu-Peng?" asked Ino with a sweat drop.

"We do you know Sanji?" asked Usopp, "We're Sanji's buddies! You should help us!"

"Shut your trap you dirty pirate pirates!" yelled the dog penguin.

"He must be our enemy!" yelled Usopp.

"Or he's still acting like Sanji…" sighed Ino.

That was when something was running towards them from the distance.

It was a giant boar zombie wearing a wedding dress.

Yes… that was just said.

The board zombie wearing a wedding dress saw Nami.

"I found you now Cat Burglar!" yelled the boar zombie taking out a giant axe.

She tried to attack Nami but the zombie which was just for some reason dubbed Inuppe blocked the axe with a kick. However Inuppe was tossed aside by the boar zombie.

"Why didn't you attack her!" yelled Ino.

"I will never kick a woman… even if it kills me…" said Inuppe.

While Usopp and Chopper were astounded by this, Ino was just concerned.

"Why does he act like Sanji…" thought Ino.

"Ino! Usopp! Chopper! Help!" cried Nami.

Turned out she was being carried away but the invisible man…

As she was being carried away the invisible man made himself visible and explained why he kidnapped her. Turns out he was just sizing her up as his new bride.

Of course Nami shocked him, even though he was electrocuted the strange man which had a lion face was still standing.

Yes… he had a lion face, he also wore a turban and had long blonde hair… but seriously he had a lion facer… well not entirely his nose, mouth and the area between his eyes were that of a lion, but he still had human eyes.

So yeah…

Anyway the Straw Hats (that were there) knew to high tail it out of there. However the boar zombie was still chasing after Nami.

"Hey! Nami want to split up?" asked Usopp.

"No!" yelled Nami.

Also that's a bad idea due to the fact that it's never a good idea to split up in these situations…

Meanwhile with the group fighting the general zombies…

The Spider Monkey zombie kept mocking them.

"With all these zombies around you…" said Spider Monkey.

"Everyone! Get around me…" said Gaara, "I have a plan."

"It's not destroy the bridge is it?" asked Franky, "Because I was thinking the same thing."

Gaara nodded.

Franky smirked.

"All right!" said Franky, "Let's work together!"

"Hey! I ha a speech! You're an entire crew steals everyone's thunder!" yelled the Spider Monkey.

"I'm not part of their crew yet…" said Fu.

Everyone gather together tightly as a Gaara summoned his sand to create a sandstorm.

During the chaos Franky aimed to the bridge itself.

"Coup de Vent!" shouted Franky.

The bridge crumbled, so much that grabbed one of the chunks and incorporated into his sand.

Using the chunks he created a large cloud of sand that kept everyone afloat, until he was able to create a temporary bridge and got everyone to one of the ends… sadly it was the end they came from.

"This is bad…" said Kiba.

"Well I guess I could get you to the other side…" said Fu.

However the Spider Monkey was still alive.

"Hey! I'm a spider! I'll scurry over to you right away!" yelled the Spider Monkey.

"Any one have a giant news paper?" asked Kiba.

That was when they heard screaming. They turned to see what it was, turns out it was Brook… falling from somewhere…

However he was falling to fast to actually them to realize who it was.

"Okay…" said Kiba.

"I wonder if that was a zombie…" said Isaribi.

"Something tells me it wasn't…" said Gaara with a sweat drop.

Back with Nami's group, Usopp and Chopper decided to attack the boar zombie head on, while Ino ran with Nami.

"I'm going to make Absalom my groom." Said the boar zombie.

The boar zombie threw Usopp and Chopper into the air and was about to kill Nami who tripped with a pair of katana.

"Nami!" yelled Ino.

"Accept your death!" yelled the boar zombie.

"Wait!" yelled Nami coming up with a plan, "I'm actually a man…"

What!" yelled the zombie and Chopper.

"Really…" sighed Ino at Chopper's reaction.

"That's right I'm a cross-dresser! No joke!" said Nami.

"Oh wow…" said boar zombie.

"In fact I think you and weird animal guy would make a good couple, girlfriend!" said Nami.

"Really?" asked the boar zombie.

"That' right!" said Nami.

The boar zombie began to cry.

"No one has ever encouraged my love before!" said the boar, "The first person to offer such kind words…"

"Come on girl, cheer up. This is what friendship is all about, my name is Namizo, Nami for short." Said Nami.

"Friendship!" said the boar zombie.

And so that's how Nami became the sassy gay friend to a zombie!

Nami and the zombie (Who she learned was named Lola) and began to give her advice on how to marry Absalom (which was the name of the lion faced guy)… turns out it was mostly knock him out and get his thumb print… but still…

She also managed to ask where the treasure room was.

"Seriously…" sighed Ino.

"Figures…" said Usopp.

"So Nami was really a man…" thought Chopper.

Usopp noticed Absalom headed right for them.

"Hey Nami's he back!" yelled Usopp.

"Lola this is your chance!" yelled Nami, "I'll never see him again so it will be okay! You two will make a great couple, I'm sure of it!"

As they ran away Ino looked at Nami.

"That was the weirdest plan you ever came up with!" said Ino.

"Yeah…" laughed Nami.

"You're awesome Nami!" said Chopper.

"She's a nice gal once your get to know her." Said Nami as her eyes turned to Berry signs.

"Seriously!" yelled Ino.

"Figures…" muttered Usopp.

]And so they managed to get away from Lola and Absalom… however the bigger question remained, why did these zombies have their personalities… and hopefully that would be answer soon.
