Chapter 292: The Battles of Thriller Bark

With Usopp and Gaara fighting the ghost woman Perona. Of course Perona sent more at Usopp (Anyone with Gaara's backstory was a lost cause).

While all of the ghosts went through him, it just caused the ghosts to become depressed.

The remaining zombie watched in shock, what's even more Perona got depressed as well.

"Listen closely!" yelled Usopp, "No one can beat me when it comes to thinking pessimistically!"

The zombies were shocked.

"That's not a good character trait…" said Gaara.

"Thanks for helping." Said Usopp with a thumbs up.

"I wasn't trying to…" said Gaara with a sweat drop.

Outside, the rest of the group counted on their way.

"I never thought Usopp's pessimism would save the day." Said Kiba.

"Especially since you contribute to it." Said Naruto.

"Hey!" yelled Kiba.

If it weren't for him we'd be finished." Said Franky.

"The mansion that Brook went to is straight ahead." Said Sanji, "I'm taking off here to find Nami."

He was covered in flame and jumped off the bridge.

"Great I have to follow him to make sure he doesn't kill the guy." Sighed Ino.

"I think I'll join you." Said Kiba.

Kiba turned Akamaru into his clone, both of them grabbed Ino and jumped off the bridge.

"I didn't mean go this way!" they all heard Ino yell.

"Naruto, Hinata, you guys ready?" asked Fu.

"Yeah." Said Naruto.

They watched as Fu turned into her demon form, which was a very large blue beetle with 6 wings and a tail.

"Climb aboard!" said Fu.

"So awesome!" said Naruto.

"Luffy's going to love this form." Joked Hinata.

The two climbed aboard the beetle demon and she flew to where she though the zombies might be.

"I really hope Luffy's doesn't see that…" mumbled Sasuke.

"I know…" sighed Zoro.

"Why's that?" asked Franky.

"Don't ask…" said Sasuke, Zoro and Isaribi.

They continued on their way, as they did they heard rumbling.

"What's that noise?" asked Isaribi.

"I've got a bad feeling about this…" muttered Sasuke.

They got to the main lab where they found Brook on the floor.

"Hey there's the skeleton!" yelled Franky.

The group ran over to Brook and found he was alive.

"At least he's alive." Said Sasuke as Franky held him up.

"Yeah…" sighed Isaribi.

"What are you doing here?" asked Brook.

"No one touches the loser with out my permission!" yelled the zombie.

He was about to strike them his sword but Zoro managed to push him back.

"He was able to push him back?" asked Brook as Zoro and Ryuma (the zombie) got into a snark off.

"He's a powerful swordsman who's aiming to be the best." Said Sasuke with a smirk.

"He's also incredibly stubborn." Said Isaribi.

"If your pride won't get in the way, he's the guy who can take back your shadow." Said Franky.

"My shadow? Really?" asked Brook,

Then he did one of the most annoying things imaginable.

"Please! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!" he begged, "Get my shadow back."

This just made everyone sweat drop.

"Shut it!" yelled Zoro.

This made Brook flinch.

However Zoro was more interested in something else.

"That's a nice sword." Said Zoro.

Sasuke face palmed when he said that.

A little reminder: during the events of Enies Lobby one of Zoro's swords was destroyed by a Marine who used Rust Powers. And since then he had been looking for a new sword.

Ryuma began to describe the sword, Shusui, which was one of the 21 Excellent Swords.

"All right then… I'll make that sword mine." Said Zoro.

Meanwhile in the air above the island ship, Hinata, Naruto and Fu saw Oars pulling a chain that was making everything shake below them.

"What is he doing?" asked Naruto.

"That's the chain that steers the ship…" said Fu.

Seriously! That zombie is an idiom for doing that." Said Naruto.

"You know kit… you're basically insulting your brother." Said Kyubi.

"What?" thought Naruto.

That was when Cho suddenly showed up and tried to attack them. Thankfully Fu dodged.

"I can't believe you're in such a form…" said Cho.

"Hey do you think you jump down?" asked Fu, "I really need this fight!"

"Sure…" said Naruto, "Hinata grab me!"

"Okay!" said Hinata.

She grabbed him as Naruto turned into his Demon Form, while ironically Fu went into her half demon form.

"I'll only use that form when the fight gets serious…" said Fu.

"Let's see you try!" said Cho.

Not too far away many of the General Zombies were going to fight Oars, however Yagura sensed something.

"Yagura? What's wrong?" asked the female zombie.

"Something's telling me to not fight Oars…" said Yagura, he grabbed the female zombie's hand, "Come on!"

The female zombie didn't argue and went along with Yagura.

Thankfully this choice ended ups saving them as Oars beat all of them up.

Meanwhile Sanji's group had found a zombie, Kiba, Sanji and Akamaru all beat up the zombie to tell them where Nami was the group headed to the church.

"Nami! I'm here for you!" yelled Sanji.

"And we're here too…" sighed Ino.

"It looks like she's unconscious." Said Kiba.

That was when Sanji ran towards a zombie that was holding her, kicked him into a wall and caught the unconscious Nami.

"It's a goddess!" yelled Sanji in shock.

That was when Ino kicked him in the head.

"I'm taking care of Nami." Said Ino jabbing her thumb at Absalom, "You fight him…"

"What are you doing here?" asked Absalom, "Oh my god an angel!"

He then quickly realized that she was just human.

"There's two of them…" muttered Kiba while Ino pinched the bridge of her nose.

That was when the two agreed that Nami was beautiful so much… however before anything more could be said.

"That's it! This fight is going to get stupid…" muttered Ino, "I don't care if you kill the guy anymore… the world can only handle one of them!"

Kiba sweat dropped.

"We haven't even been here for a minute." Said Kiba, while Akamaru (still his clone) just titled his head.

"Sanji! That man ate the Clear-Clear Fruit!" yelled Ino.

Sanji sighed, "I figured that out a while ago." He said.

He glared at Absalom.

"You kidnaped Nami and dared to make her marry you!" yelled Sanji, "Combined with the fact you ate that Devil Fruit I will never forgive you!"

The fire again once again surrounded Sanji.

To him Absalom was unforgivable. After all Absalom ruined his dream.
