Chapter 296: Beetle VS. Butterfly
Up in the air above Thriller Bark, Cho and Fu were up in the air. The two of them glared at each other.
"You have tried to beat me so many time but you're not going to win this time." Taunted Cho.
"I know how to bear you now" yelled Fu.
The two of them flew towards each other.
Fu went in for a tackle, but Cho dodged.
However Fu managed to fly towards Cho and grabbed her leg and swing her around.
Cho managed to regain her balance.
"What was that supposed to accomplish?" asked Cho.
"Just trying to beat you up." Said Fu.
"You're not doing very good job." Said Cho.
"Shut up!" yelled Fu blushing.
"You know I don't think you ever transformed." Said Chomei.
"What?" asked Fu then she realized that her demon was right.
"Why didn't either of us think of that before?" asked Fu.
"I have no idea." Said Chomei.
"But I'm going to wait…" thought Fu, "If she doesn't know the better."
"Good luck!" said Chomei.
"Why are you just staring off to the distance?" asked Cho with a sweat drop.
"You'll find out soon." Said Fu.
"Like you do anything." Mocked Cho.
"Why are you mocking me! I thought we had the same personality!" yelled Fu who began to pout.
"Do you honestly want to know?" asked Cho.
"Yeah." Said Fu.
"I don't know either, I think the body was snide." Said Cho.
"Oh… okay…." Said Fu with a sweat drop.
"But that doesn't matter!" yelled Cho.
Cho flew fast towards Fu but Fu managed to dodge.
"Stay still so I can tackle you!" yelled Cho.
"What?" asked Fu.
"I want to tackle you!" yelled Cho.
"Okay…" said Fu with a sweat drop.
Cho flew outwards Fu once again but Fu breathed out the strange sparkling dust. Suddenly it became very bright.
"What! This never happened before!" yelled Cho.
"I don't think it was well lit before." Said Fu.
"It's night! And cloudily!" yelled Cho.
However Fu just performed a flying tackled on the zombie who crashed into the ground.
"All right!" cheered Fu.
However Cho flew upwards rubbing her eyes.
"You're going to pay for that." Muttered Cho.
"Uh-oh." Said Fu.
Cho began to chaise her.
"Use it." Said Chomei.
"Not yet I want to be a big surprise." Thought Fu.
"All right… just don't take too long." Said Chomei.
Fu nodded and flew as fast as she could away from her zombie.
"You will pay!" yelled Cho.
"What's that over there!" yelled Fu point in a random direction.
"That's not going to work!" yelled Cho.
"Oh man!" said Fu.
She then used the sparkly breath again, blinding her zombie.
She began to hide.
"I have to get my shadow back." Thought Fu.
"This your body, not mine." Said Chomei.
Fu nodded.
"I guess next time she showed up, you should do it." Said Chomei.
"You're right she is angry." Said Fu.
"You're right I am." Said Cho.
Fu jumped and turned around.
"Why do you even fight me, you can live with you shadow." Pointed out Cho.
"I can but this is my body!: said Fu, "I will get both my shadow and my body back!"
"You've tried so many times, what do you have in mind now?" asked Cho.
Cho watched in horror was Fu's skin began to harden and turn blue. She gained more legs and a large horn appeared on her head. She had became the Nanabi, who was a giant beetle.
"You can do that!" yelled Cho in shock.
"I thought you knew that…" said Fu with a sweat drop.
"Well I should have since you did eat the Devil Fruit." Said Cho with a sweat drop.
"All right! It's go time!" cheered Fu.
Cho began to fly knowing that bad things would happen if Fu.
"Mwahahaha! The hunter has become the hunted!" taunted Fu.
"Oh man… this is going to get annoying." Sighed Cho as she flew away.
That was when Fu once again created that glowing sparkly breath.
It was so bright that Cho couldn't see. Fu flew towards Cho looking to hit her with her horn.
However Cho managed to fly away in time.
"All right." Said Cho trying to get her sight back, "I got to aim for the horn!"
"Really?" asked Fu with a sweat drop.
"Lame." Said Chomei.
"I don't know why but it felt like someone called me lame." Thought Cho with a sweat drop.
That was when Cho got an idea.
She unfurled her wings in front of Fu and began to do a dance of sorts.
"What are you doing?" asked Fu with a sweat drop.
"Oh this! I'm distracting you with my wing partner, doesn't it look like your predator?" asked Cho.
"Do I look like a bird to you?" asked Fu.
"All right dumb idea…" said Cho.
That was when Fu managed to get a hit in on the zombie with his massive horn, almost impaling her.
She flung Cho in the ground.
Cho managed to get up. However Fu flew into once again then tackling her.
Cho had a hard time getting up as the giant beetle was on her. Immediately Fu shifted back to her human form.
"Get of me." Said Cho as Fu began to kneel on her.
"Why should I?" asked Fu.
She reached into her pocket and pulled out salt.
"Even if I did beat you before it would have mattered." Said Fu, "Thanks Brook I'll finally get my shadow back. "
"What no…" said Cho.
"Once you leave that body, I'm sure you'll be happy to be with me again." Said Cho with a big smile.
That was when Fu forced Cho to eat the salt. A black thing came out of Cho's mouth and attached itself to Chomei's shadow reshaping it to Fu.
"All right!" cheered Fu, "I'm back to normal! Now I can go to sleep and not have Chomei taking over!"
"And I don't have to feel guilty any more!" cheered Chomei, "Lucky!"
"What should we do now?" asked Fu.
"Find some of your new mates, they might be having a hard time." Pointed out Chomei.
"Oh right!" said Fu.
Fu ran off with her shadow in toe. However the fighting at Thriller Bark was very much far from over. Especially since only two of them have gotten their shadows back.
Next Time: As Sakura faces off against her zombie, Chopper and Robin face off against Doctor Hogback as well as Zoro and Sanji's zombies. What will happen? Find out next time!
