A/N: 2016 straight up sucks! As mentioned my mom a couple chapters ago my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Less than a monster after I posted the last chapter my dad passed away. So yeah... Anyways I plan to update again on the 25th... then on the 26th... The Biju Biju Fruit 10th anniversary Special! I plan to write a special for this fic's 10th anniversary, after all it's not common to see a fanfic get regularly updated for 10 years barring burnouts and depression streaks... Chapter 323: Resolve Against Shiki

Ino clung to the pillar. Hoping that none of the crazy animals wouldn't attack her.

"Sakura! Do something!" yelled Ino.

"I'm still stuck in here you know!" yelled Sakura.

"What about your massive strength?" asked Ino.

"A lot of good that does if I can't move!" yelled Sakura.

"Can you please not fight while we're up here they monsters might attack us!" yelled Usopp.

The two girls realized he was right and shut up.

Meanwhile in Shiki's ship he watched the carnage unfold via video feed.

That was when Nami came wearing a black dress and pink boa.

"Oh you look fantastic baby doll." Laughed Shiki.

Nami noticed what Shiki was watching, and knew it was the town, her eyes widened but that was merely her only reaction.

"I'll be in my room…" muttered Nami leaving.

Shiki blinked.

"I was expecting some screaming." He mumbled to himself.

Sometime later once the strange animals were done wreaking the village, Ino began to try to dig them out. It was going well.

"Come on forehead help me"! yelled Ino.

"I keep telling you I can barley move!" yelled Sakura.

"Then move what you can!" yelled Ino.

They heard a noise, they looked down and saw Robin, Brook, Franky, Gaara and Isaribi riding a giant bug like a motorcycle.

""Hey! You need help?" called out Franky,

"No… I can't dig them all out of this tower on my own." Said Ino very sarcastically, "OF COURSE I NEED HELP!"

Gaara managed to get them out rather quickly. Thankfully shortly afterwards the other regained consciousness.

They told them what happened and how Nami left with Shiki.

"I can't believe Nami left with Shiki!" muttered Luffy.

"It shouldn't be too much of a surprise though." Said Usopp.

"After what happened with Arlong… we all know what she would do to protect our home island…" said Sakura.

"With Shiki targeting the east blue…" said Hinata.

"She didn't just do it for her home island, but all of ours." Said Usopp.

"What did you just say?" asked a voice.

They turned to see Xiao, her mother and grandmother.

"Xiao." Said Sakura, "You're okay."

"We made it to the bunker in time.," said Xiao's mother.

"Is it true! That you're from the east blue?" asked Xiao.

"It's true." Said Sakura.

"Nami and most of us either are from the east blue or lived in the east blue most of our lives." Explained Ino.

"Oh my god… I'm so sorry!" cried Xiao's mother, "We didn't know…"

"She heard us… didn't she?" asked Xiao.

"We all did." Sighed Hinata.

"We… we said all those horrible things…" said Xiao.

They noticed Xiao was holding the tone dial that Nami used.

"Oh yeah, she used that." Said Ino.

Luffy walked over to Xiao. She flinched worried what he might do. However Luffy patted her head gently.

"You're good people." Said Luffy, "You cared a lot of Nami's feelings even after your town was destroyed."

Xiao didn't know how to respond other than cry.

Luffy took the tone Dial to the others and Xiao and her family left them alone knowing that whatever it was they needed to hear it.

"All right is everyone ready?" asked Sakura.

Luffy played it.

"If you get this message please forgive me for not saying goodbye in person. This might be tough to hear but I made up my mind to be Shiki's navigator. It's just that Shiki is a legendary pirate. Possibly the most powerful man alive. There's nothing you can do to match up to him. He's bound to kill you if you come after me. And if you don't believe me…" was the message.

As Luffy heard this he started to get angry.

"What! Yelled Luffy.

"Luffy calm down!" yelled Sakura, "We know why she's doing this!"

"I know but still! Hearing her say this!" yelled Luffy

Luffy ran out to punch some stuff while giving Sakura the tone dial.

"Hey…" said Sanji, "Play it again,"

Sakura played it again, this time they heard something else, while Luffy was punching some rocks.

"Kit…" said Kyubi.

"Yeah." Thought Naruto.

"Don't tell him… it's his own fault he didn't' hear it." Said Kyubi.

Naruto sweat dropped when Kyubi said that.

Back with Shiki he as watching at the captains returned from watching the demonstration.

That was when Dr. Indigo came in and began to do his interpretive dancing explaining that that they had a situation.

Shiki nodded.

"I understand." He said.

Dr. Indigo stared at Shiki before yelling out "HE UNDERSTOOD THAT!"

Just outside of Shiki's castle where the daft green grew, a couple tree were taken down by dynamite, however only a couple of the dynamite went off.

And the person who set it off was Nami. Who laid on the ground covered in green bruises.

Shiki and some of his larger mane showed up all wearing gas masks.

"So you decided to throw it away, didn't you baby doll?" asked Shiki.

"I knew… I knew that you wouldn't keep your promise. That I would have to watch as my friends homes were destroyed…" muttered Nami weakly while glaring at him.

Shiki however grabbed her and forced into one of the daft greens, causing the bruises to grow and worsening Nami's condition.

He then tossed her away, when he did he summoned strange poles.

How managed it so that as Nami landed, she would become tangled in the poles and skillfully made she wasn't impaled.

"I would do a favor for one of my crew members. If you're still alive later then we'll talk again." Said Shiki.

He left her in the snow, strange in the poles with the guards making sure she wouldn't escape… even though she could barely move thanks to the daft and the poles.

Meanwhile the crew made it to the Thousand Sunny and got ready for their plan.

However there was something they couldn't help but to comment on as they got ready.

"You're going to wear pants!" laughed Naruto.

"Yeah… there's a thing about a dress code." Said Franky.

"And wanting to look badass." Added Naruto.

"Yeah." Sighed Franky.

"But still I'm with Naruto." Said Kiba, "You're finally putting on pants!"

"It is nice to see you wear them." Laughed Usopp.

"It's a shame Nami couldn't be here." Said Sanji.

"I swear…" muttered Franky.

"Come on, we have to get ready…" said Zoro.

"Thank you." Said Franky.

"Even if it a miracle that he's finally putting on pants." Said Zoro keeping a completely straight face.

"OH COME ON!" yelled Franky.

And so the fight against Shiki was just beginning. However with Nami's attempt at getting at Shiki failed, can the others stop him… only will tell…
