Chapter 329: Red Line Madness
With Nami healed up they finally continued on their journey to Fish Man Island.
"When are we going to get to the fireworks factory!" whined Kyubi.
"What?" thought Naruto.
"Remembering I'm calling the island "The fireworks factory"." Said Kyubi.
Naruto sighed at this.
Of course the journey there was touch .
Weird but Tough.
Like when it rained candy, or the thing with the rainbow, which was rather pretty and weird currents that were like snakes.
But by this point stuff like that was normal to them… still weird but in a normal "This is my life now" way.
And after a while they reached their destination.
And they all marveled at it.
"We're finally here!" said Luffy with a big grin.
"We traveled half way around the world!" said Naruto.
"Amazing!" said Hinata.
"IT feels Nostalgic." Said Nami, "I'm getting choked up a little."
"It hasn't been that long, but it feels like it." Said Ino.
"You're right." Agreed Kiba earning a bark from Akamaru.
"It's been one heck of a ride." Said Sanji.
"I wonder if we got a little more mature on the way here." Said Zoro.
"Who knows." Said Sasuke.
"You guys had it easy, it took be me fifty years to reach this point." Said Brook.
"We've reached the half way point." Said Luffy, "The twin capes where we met Laboon is on the other side of the world. That stretches all the way around the world."
"I cant' see the top, that thing is huge!" yelled Chopper.
Indeed they had made it to the Red Line.
"Over 200 chapters and we finally made it to the other end." Said Kyubi.
"I'm tearing up! We've bee through so much." Cried Usopp.
"When I was a baby. I came over Reverse Mountain. But that was over 30 years ago." Said Franky.
"It was five years ago since I came to this sea from the West Blue." Said Robin.
"Well I never through I'd see the Red Line at all." Pointed out Isaribi.
"Me neither!" said Chopper.
Neither Fu or Gaara said anything about the Red Line.
"Should we ask?" asked Naruto.
"Let's no pry." Said Hinata.
"If we sail around the other half the world then we'll reach the next section!" cheered Luffy, "And then I'll be king of the pirates!"
And so they made plans for what to do due to the fact that they were near Marijoa, the location of the world Government's Headquarters.
While some members of the crew enjoyed the pool and a couple trained, most decided to see how to get to Fishman Island.
Isaribi seam on the outside, with a submarine with Luffy, Sakura and Robin inside accompanying her.
"Robin, Sakura, Luffy report." Said Nami using a Snail Phone to talk to them.
"It's no good, it's pitch black." Said Robin.
"Yeah, Isaribi is swimming nearby and she has confirmed she hasn't' seen anything." Said Sakura.
"Yeah totally dark." Said Luffy.
"Hey guys, the Shark Submerge has a depth limit of 5,000 meters, so be careful." Said Franky.
That's over a bit 3 miles, so pretty deep.
"Maybe that's why the ship is making funny sounds." Said Luffy.
"Well we did pass 5,000 meters a while ago." Said Robin.
Sakura just face palmed as they said closing to blowing up at them.
Isaribi looked through the window with her eye twitching knowing whatever they were talking about wasn't good.
"We need to get out of you here!" yelled Sakura.
"Why?" asked Luffy.
"Because the pressure's going to destroy us!" yelled Sakura.
That was when they heard tapping on the window and they saw Isaribi pointing at something not too far away.
Clearly some sort f sea monster.
"Okay! We have to go now!" yelled Sakura.
Isaribi grabbed onto the fin and they sped away from the sea monster.
On deck Nami sighed.
"It will be fine!" said Naruto, "You know how these things go, we don't know how to get there and then we'll get there."
"Hey I made some snacks! Tarts from horror pears that grew on Thriller Bark." Said Sanji.
"That was weeks ago." Said Fu.
"Don't worry I preserved them." Said Sanji giving Fu one.
"Unless Naruto's right, we're still in a bind." Said Nami.
"It's like Sky Island all over again." Said Sanji.
"But with Sky Island we found someone who could help us." Said Gaara.
"Maybe we can find someone to help us." Said Naruto.
"Who can we find to help us though." Said Franky.
"I should have gotten more information from Kokoro or Lola." Sighed Nami.
"No! You shouldn't have from Kokoro" said a good number of the crew not wanting to remember THAT.
"What's that about?" asked Brook.
"I don't' know…" said Fu.
That was when the Shark Submerge came back up.
"No good, the oceans way too deep." Said Isaribi.
"If we had gone down any deeper we would have been crushed." Said Robin.
"Are you sure there's an island down there?" asked Luffy.
"The Log Pose is punting down." Said Nami.
That was when the sea monster surfaced.
"Crap! It followed us!" yelled Luffy.
"A sea rabbit!" yelled Nami.
"There's no way you can beat me above water!" said Luffy twisting his Arm, "Gum Gum Riffle."
"You know… it really says something about our lives when that thing looks small." Said Kiba.
"I know Oars and the giant monsters…" mumbled Usopp.
"I know." Said chopper.
That was when they saw that the Sea Rabbit coughed something up.
"A fish?" asked Naruto.
"No it looks like a person." Said Franky.
How they realized what it was.
Sanji's eyes erupted in hearts as he went to catch it.
"IT totally is!" said Sanji.
But the thing it spat out crushed him instead.
And it appeared to be young woman from above.
"I crushed a human." She yelled.
"It can't be!" said Nami.
"It is!" said Hinata .
It was a mermaid.
"She's really cute too!" said Kyubi.
"I'm so sorry for crushing you." Said the mermaid.
"It's quite all right." Said Sanji.
"A mermaid!" yelled most of the crew in shock.
"So many people!" yelled the mermaid in shock making a weird face.
"Thank you saving me from being disgusted! It happens to be a lot. That was like the 20th time!" said the Mermaid.
There was an awkward silence.
"That sounds like a real problem…" said Isaribi with a sweat drop.
"Yeah, but I'm used to it." Said the mermaid.
"That's really not something you should be used to." Said Kiba with a sweat drop.
"He's right you know." Pointed out Nami.
"Anyways I should really repay you for saving me!" said the Mermaid, "Oh how about some Takoyaki!"
"Really I love Takoyaki!" said Luffy, "Wait! Is real Takoyaki? Or that Takoyaki that they replace with beef?"
"Wait who puts beef in Takoyaki?" asked Fu with a sweat drop.
"I don't know, but I had it once, it was good but weird." Said Luffy.
And yet it's really popular…
"Its real!" said the mermaid, "And it's 500 berries for a serving of one."
"Wait you're selling them!" yelled a talking Starfish whacking her.
"I made a mistake!" she yelled out.
"I got a good feeling about this." Laughed Kyubi.
Naruto sweat dropped when he said that. He knew that meant something was going to happen involing that mermaid.
And they didn't know who that mermaid was friends with, because it would into rescuing someone that some of them really wouldn't want to rescue…
