Hey, fairy tail fans. Here we are with the next chapter in a fairy tail retold. Updates may slow down next week, so keep that in mind. Other than nothing else to say, so enjoy the story.

Natsu: man, everyone's getting double today
Wendy: I think three Lucy's was more than enough
Natsu: they should become one giant mega Lucy
Happy: there are enough monsters in the world already
Wendy couldn't believe her eyes. When she found out that she had a double, she was kind of excited with how everyone kept talking about her and now in front of her was her but older and, in her mind, sexier too; she was both mad, happy, and confused at the same time "umm, hi," Wendy muttered out.
"oh, hey, you look like a mini-me," the edolas Wendy said, making Wendy freak out a bit.
"Mini," she said
"Wendy," Lisanna chimed in, "that is you, from a different dimension entirely," Lisanna told her, laughing.
"oh," edo Wendy said, "then why are you so young," she said only to see her counterpart in a corner, a dark cloud hanging over as she muttered something about being small and her chest size "um," she then turned to the and saw Natsu.
"Hey kid," Natsu told before almost being knocked over by jumping on him, wrapping him in a hug.
"Natsu," she said, "you're alive," she said as she squeezed him
"Actually," he said, "I'm your Natsu's counterpart."
"oh," she said, her smile fading, "but it's still good to see," she said as Natsu patted her head before bringing her back in for a hug "look at you though, all grown up on me," Natsu said as Lisanna looked a smile on her face.
Welcome home
"See, I told you it would be worth your while," Lisanna teased.
"Oh, shut up," edo Wendy told her, "mind explaining to me what the hell's going on; your message wasn't exactly clear only to come to get you and your new friends." she said "not that I don't mind seeing you that is"
"well, your king took our friends," Natsu told her, "and we're here to get them back."
"they were turned into a giant lacrmia and are somewhere in the royal city," Wendy said
"First, he ain't my king," edo Wendy said, "second off, you guys have some serious balls if you are planning on taking on the royal army," edo Wendy said, "I can respect that," she said a small glare pointed at Lisanna.
"where are we anyway," Lucy asked.
"the royal city," edo Wendy said as she scratched her hand, "and two days early, no need to thank me."
"wow," the group said in shock, "we're even closer now."
"and three days early," Natsu added.
"so, you guys do plan on taking on the king," edo Wendy asked.
"We don't have a choice," Natsu told her, "he has our friends."
"yeah, but" Wendy looked down, "my Natsu, he died believing in those ideals," she said, "just please, I don't think I can take losing you twice."
Natsu flashed her a grin "when having something worth protecting; it's worth fighting for, ain't it."
"Yeah, I guess," Wendy said as the group left her there, her hair blowing in the wind; her mind flashed back to her Natsu how much she meant to him; she looked around. "I must be losing it," she muttered as she ran to catch up with the group
when they entered, they were surprised to find people in the streets laughing and playing, it was odd, and guards were run-down buildings; the place looked alive, "not what I imagined this place would look like," Wendy muttered
"We got in without having to fight a single guard, too," Natsu said
"yeah," edo Wendy told them, "the royal city is still well protected so stay on your toes," she explained, "the only reason there are no guards in the streets is that they want the illusion of a happy society" she looked down "while the rest of us are suffering they get to live in prosperity."
"I'm guessing because they steal magic from everywhere else," Carla explained, "then try to gloss over their problems" as she said that Natsu had found his way onto one of the miniature horses, the group rounded a corner.
" what's going on over here" Natsu wondered, "maybe a parade."
"we're here on business," Carla shouted, only to be ignored as the group went forward, pushing through the card, when suddenly Natsu stopped.
"Hey, if you're going to stop, you could at least wear me-" Lucy stopped when she saw what was in front of her; a giant lacrmia roped down as people surrounded and cheered.
"no," Wendy muttered.
"All our friends are in there," Happy muttered.
"and if you look closely," Carla informed them, "you can see there's a missing piece."
"there's more of that thing," Lucy asked, "talk about high caliber wizards" she looked at Natsu, who was getting angrier by the second "Natsu." Before she could move, the king of edolas appeared. He smiled as the crowd let out a loud cheer.
"children of edolas," the king shouted, "it's my pleasure to tell you that our anima program has produced enough power to last another decade."
"you didn't produce a thing," Happy muttered, "you just broke into our world and stole it from us."
"control yourself, tomcat," Carla told him; behind them, Gajeel glared as the king continued his speech as the crowd cheered. Natsu, Lucy, and Wendy looked on with fear and sorrow.
"Let us sing and dance, let our joy roam through the streets again," he shouted as he struck the lacrmia, making Natsu even angrier as the king smiled "soon, I will bring you more power, more power than you could ever hope for." the eking rose to the sky "the time will come that edolas will rise to the greatness it deserves."
"Rise"

"Rise"
"damn it," Gajeel said as he walked away, "they're all bunch of suckers," he muttered, "now how am I going to pull this off."

Natsu started to move forward only to be held back by Lucy "stay strong," she told him, tears forming in her eyes, "we need to stay strong."
"it's them," Natsu told her, "our friends are right in front of us," he continued, "We gotta get them out of there," he told her.
"I know," Lucy told him "we will," she said, "but we can't risk it right now" Natsu felt Wendy grip his hand; the three looked on with sorrowful eyes as they had found their friends but were slowly running out of tie to save them as Lisanna and Wendy came to help remove Natsu the group left the area the king's laughter sounded over the city as people continued to cheer
later the group had managed to find shelter. Natsu, Lucy, Happy, and Wendy all had depressed looks on their face as Carla sat at the table, drawing something. Natsu kept pacing back and forth as Happy had slumped up against the wall "damn, I can't take this anymore," Natsu shouted,
"and what do you plan to do," Carla asked him, "storm the castle without a second thought or strategy," she said, which made Natsu stop. "I know you're angry, but we need to be careful; one wrong move and our friends are as good as dead."
"the kingdom turned them into that crystal," Wendy muttered, "and we don't know how to change them back."
"well, the king is just going to have to tell us himself," Carla said
"he would never do that," Wendy told her.
"he will if we beat it out of him," Natsu said
"that's it," Lucy said, something coming to her mind. "I know how we can do this," she said
"Lucy," Wendy asked
"yeah, if the king knows how to turn them back," Lucy smiled "then all we need is Gemini," she explained "remember, not only can they turn into people they touch, but they can read their memories as well," she said, "that's how the oracion seis got the upper hand us."
"oh yeah," Wendy said
"Now, all we need is a way to get close," Lucy.
"I have a plan," Carla told them "like any paranoid ruler, the king most likely has an escape route if the city was to come under attack," she said, pointing to the map.
"wow," Wendy said, "how do you know all this."
"it's just in my head," Carla explained, "like little bits of information."
"My head's still blank," Happy muttered.

"then we have a plan," Natsu shouted.
"We can do this," Wendy shouted.
"Aye, sir."
"wait," Carla said, catching the three, "we'll go under cover of night," she told them as the door opened, and Lisanna and edolas Wendy came in.
"We brought food," they said, only to see the group of wizards standing in a circle.
"oh good, you guys aren't depressed anymore," Wendy muttered, only to be hit in the back of the head by Lisanna "what."
"that was insensitive," she scolded her. She looked back at the group, "so what are guys planning to do."
"we're going to sneak into the castle," Lucy said, "find the king and use Gemini to read his mind."
"nice," edo Wendy said. "I like your guy's style."
"let's just try to get some rest," Carla said
"alright"
A few seconds later, Natsu found Lisanna sitting at a desk writing something, "you okay here."
"yeah," she said as she handed him envelopes, "don't lose these," she told him.
"what are they," he asked.
"when," Lisanna sighed, "when you save your friends, you'll be heading home," she said as she put it in his pocket; keep it safe until then" Lisanna looked to her side "this is selfish," she muttered. "I mean."
"hey, I understand," Natsu told her, "and maybe, after we save your friends, my master, back in earth land, she could maybe find a way to help you," he told her, "you know away. That doesn't involve killing people."
Lisanna laughed, "you think so."
Natsu nodded. "I know so."
"Hey Natsu," Lisanna muttered
"yeah," he turned back.
"thank you."
later once night had fallen over the kingdom, the group had made their move sneaking out of the city and heading to where Carla had instructed them to "you know you guys didn't have to come," Lucy said to edo Wendy and Lisanna, "you don't have to risk your lives for our friends."
"yeah," Lisanna muttered, "but I said I would help you, right," she said, "so I'll do all I can," Lisanna said "besides, we're friends, right, so it's only fair.
"that a surprise," edo Wendy muttered, "what happened not to lose anyone else."
"you still haven't let that go," Lisanna muttered.
"nope"
"here we are," Carla told them; they found a dark tunnel system that leads for miles "one problem, we don't have a source of light," Carla informed them.
Natsu then tried to light his hand again, "man," Natsu muttered. "I know never taking my power for granted ever again."
"am I the only one here who thinks Lucy being the only one able to use magic is an uncomfortable thought" Happy told them
"give it a rest; you're just jealous," as Lucy pulled out two sticks "besides, I have these," she showed off two makeshift torches, "who needs magic when you have survival skills."
"cool, so you can light them too," edo Wendy asked, only for Lucy to let out a small laugh seconds later; she and Natsu were rubbing sticks together.
"This is humiliating," Natsu muttered "we take this to our graves," he shouted.
"oh, give it a rest," Lucy muttered.
"you know," Happy said, "old-timey people got far if they could rub sticks together to get a fire" Wendy and Carla nodded their heads as Lucy started to smoke.
"oh yeah," Lucy said
"good job Lucy."
"ironic that fire wizard couldn't make a spark," Carla said
"drop it, cat," Natsu told her
as they lit the torches, Natsu looked at the fire "maybe all Natsu needs to do is munch on the fire of this world," Happy said
"what," edo Wendy asked
"Natsu magic allows him to eat fire," Wendy explained "however, if that were the case, my magic would have started a long time ago as I've tasted the air here," Wendy said
"how do you eat air," Lisanna asked "earth land magic is weird," she muttered as the group entered the tunnel
as they walked, edolas Wendy and Natsu ended up next to each other "so," edo Wendy muttered, "this is weird," she said
"I'll say," Natsu said, "you're a bit taller than the Wendy, I know."
"true," edo Wendy said
the group had been far enough, so the others couldn't overhear their conversation, but edo Wendy had a look of concern on her face "do you trust those two," she asked. "I mean, there exceeds."
"I mean, yeah," Natsu told her, "I've been with Happy his whole life."
"still no telling what the implanted on them," edo Wendy asked, "you sure you can."
"I just have to have hope it doesn't come to that," he told her, "Hey, I get how Lisanna knows me, but how did you know me here." he asked, "not that I'm complaining, but Wendy and I haven't known each other for that long."
"Natsu," she looked at him again, "well, the edolas you anyway took care of for as long as I can remember," she said, "then you," Wendy sighed, "then I ended up on my own."
"Why didn't you stick with the other wizards," Natsu asked, "from the way they were talking, you hadn't been around in a while."
"and do what," edo Wendy asked, "sit around and act like my problems don't exist," she said, "they can do that all they want, but as long as I can, I'll help any way can."
"Thanks, Wendy," Natsu told her.
"no prob," she said "just promise me one thing," she said, looking back, "promise me you won't fie."
"I won't, kid," Natsu said as he patted her on the head "only if you promise to stop by your friends now and then," he said "they worry about you," he said, "and Lisanna needs you edo Wendy said nothing puffing her cheeks "I'm serious kid."
"I know," edo Wendy said, "but."
"but nothing," Natsu scolded "no matter how different your views, there are still your friends, and you need each other"
"great Lisanna was right," edo Wendy muttered "you're scolding me just as my Natsu would"
"then it must be true," Natsu told her, smiling placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Natsu," Wendy called out.
"yo mini-me," edo Wendy called out.
"don't call me that," Wendy told her, "it's a dead-end up ahead," she pointed with her torch to show a wall that read KY-2c.
"there should be an opening on the other side," Carla told them "we need to find a way through"
"don't worry, I got this," Lucy said as she pulled out one of her keys "{open gate of the golden bull: Taurus}" Taurus appeared from the ground and smiled.
"oh yeah, bring on the muscle cow," Happy screamed as edo Wendy and Lisanna looked on in shock; they still weren't used to seeing earth land magic.
"need to plow anything? Taurus is the spirit for you," Lucy said
"anything fooor you, Miss Lucy," he said as he smashed through the wall "Mooove," he screamed as the wall came down.
"oh yeah," Natsu screamed, "hooves of fury."
"so, what do you think, Miss Lucy," Taurus asked.
"you did great as always, Taurus," she told him.
"great enough for a smooch," he asked.
"get over it," Lucy told him before closing his gate.
"he's an odd one," Lisanna told her.
"I've learned to live with it," Lucy said, to which Lisanna laughed "let's move," Lucy said, ignoring her poor choice of words.
"there should be an entrance to the palace at the end of this tunnel," Carla told them.
"you've been right about everything else so far," Wendy told her.
"I guess" behind her, a look of sorrow coming over his face 'why am I Not getting anything' he thought to himself as they moved forward. "I'm from edolas too, aren't I" Happy let out a defeated sigh as the group continued on their quest
they soon appeared in what was thought to be a large cavern "if I'm right," Carla informed them, "we should be right underneath the palace."
"I don't know how you're doing it, Carla, but I'm glad you're with us," Lucy said
"you're amazing, Carla," Happy told her.
"The real amazing part will be sneaking in and out of the palace undetected," she told him, "as defenseless as we are."
"don't worry; we still have my magic," Lucy bragged.
"yeah yeah, we know, Lucy," Natsu said
"oh, come cut me some slack," Lucy said. something then came and grabbed her before she could go any further along, pinning her down before she could even move "aww, what is this" Lucy screamed, "it's sticky."
Soon, Natsu, Wendy, and Lisanna were stuck in it "damn it," Natsu shouted. Soon, royal guards came bursting in, surrounding them.
"so these are the wizards from earth land," a voice called the group looked, and to their horror, they saw the edolas version of Erza; she smiled as rage grew in Wendy's eyes "amazing, you look almost identical to the outlaw Lucy Ashley" she turned to Natsu and smiled "and I remember you," she said smiling "I'll never forget Natsu Dragion."
"get away from him," edo Wendy screamed.
"and the infamous last fairy," Erza smiled, "and I haven't met you, but you must be an enemy if you're with them, "Erza said, looking at Lisanna, "take them away."
as the group were being dragged away, Happy and Carla attempted to go after them only to be halted by Erza, who then bowed her head "of glories exceed," she told them "
those words seemed to break Carla as she backed up with fear, the look of terror and betrayal on Wendy's eyes as she saw their friends be dragged away" no," she muttered
Erza smiled "it is an honor to be in your presence," Erza said, standing up
"Welcome home."
