Hey, Fairy tail fans, and welcome to the next chapter of a fairy tail re-told. So now we are nearing the final stretch of this arc. Where the real fun starts. Sit back and enjoy cause you are about to go on a ride.
Last time on a fairy tail re-told
Happy: Me and Carla, I finally regained our magic. Now we can save our friends.
Carla: it won't be easy

In the royal palace, King Faust sat along with his four captains of the royal war division along with Byro and Coco "the rumors that we heard about are true," Byro informed them, letting out a cackle "it would appear these earth land wizards have magic coursing through their veins."
"so there much like the exceeds in that regard," Sugar-boy asked.
"Careful not to inflate their abilities," Byro warned him "the exceeds are far more powerful," he said
"so, wait," Coco asked, "so even that Lucy girl has magic in her."
"so, then we should keep her alive, right," Hughes asked.
"No!" Faust spoke up "her execution has been ordered by queen Shagotte herself," he informed them, "we will not defy her word."
"besides," Byro came in, "we don't quite have the technology to extract magic power from humans."
"then what are we to do with the two dragon slayers," Panther lily asked.
Byro let a smile form on his face "those two aren't quite human," Byro informed them, "they're more of a strange human amalgam; successful experiment with them could lead us to everlasting magic power."
"now that's cool."
"Yeah, totally cool."
"very well," Faust said as the group started to leave, talking about what they would do with their own magic power panther. However, Lily stayed behind as Faust glared at him, "Is something troubling you, panther Lily."
"Sir," lily spoke up, "if I may ask about the expansion in our armaments," the glare from Faust was all he needed before bowing his head "forgive me then," he said before leaving.
Code ETD
Lucy, Lisanna, and Wendy all sat in silence in their cell; they could hear water dripping from all around them as Lucy let out a sigh. She had since removed her heels, Wendy's story still racking in her mind 'I can't believe" a part of her didn't like to think about Erza killing Natsu. It sounded so wrong; she thought of how the two interacted in their world 'sure, she wanted to arrest Natsu and bring him in, but that was it Erza would never right.'
Lisanna was in the middle of her crisis, her mind flashing back to her big sister Mira Elfman even Natsu. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard someone walk up to their shared cell and her horror was Erza nightwalker herself.
"Erza," Lucy muttered, "you're this worlds, Erza," Lucy said, correcting herself.
Wendy's face was pure hatred as she glared at the women who had killed so many in the kingdom's name before slamming her face against the cell bars "what do you want" she spat at her as Erza only chuckled.
"Should I know you," she asked.
"you killed my brother, you monster," Wendy told her.
"do you know how little that narrows it down," Erza said before forcing Wendy back and walking into the cell. Looking around, she gripped all three dragging them out of their cell and to one of the many balconies before gripping Lucy with her spear.
"Erza, stop," Lucy shouted, "you don't have to do this."
two guards appeared and gripped Lisanna and edo Wendy
"really," Erza said smiling, "do you know why I'm called the fairy hunter," she said, "cause not too long ago, a group of wizards calling themselves fairy tail was wiped off the map by my sole hand," she bragged "so I believe that I am right when I say that I want to do this."
"not with her face," Lucy shouted; fear was latched in her eyes as her breathing increased, "not with Ezra's face."
"then allow me to tell you goodbye," she threw Lucy off the Balcony as Wendy and Lisanna struggled as they watched their friend fall. "Lucy," a voice called, catching Lucy looked up as something flew extremely fast, catching her at the last second Lucy slowly opened her eyes to see she was flying up "don't worry, I got ya," Happy told her proudly.
"Happy," Lucy said, tears forming in her eyes, "you came back."
"of course, I did," Happy told her "we may not get along, but we're still family, right," he told her.
"Yeah," Lucy said with tears on her face.
Happy flew up, causing Erza to back up, "but the queen," she asked, "she gave a direct order to execute this human."
"the order has been resent," Carla informed her.
"I beg your forgiveness," Erza told her, "but you don't have the authority;" she told her please, "I ask you to hand back over the human."
"do not now you place," Carla told her "you are in the presence of royalty; I am the eldest child of queen Shagotte; it would be polite of you to bow," Carla said in her authoritative tone.
"Forgive me, your grace," Erza said as she bowed to her. "I didn't mean any disrespect," she motioned for the guards to let edo, Wendy, and Lisanna go.
"now, where are We-" Carla caught herself, almost giving away her ruse, "where are the dragon slayers."
"In the west tower basement," she told them, "I'm sorry, but I do not have the authority to bring them to you."
"Erza," Panther lily called, "those two are fallen," he shouted, running up to her "they've been banished from the kingdom," he said; hearing this edo, Wendy acted quickly, hitting the guard while he was down before pushing Lisanna to Carla.
"go," she called. "I'll buy you some time."
"Wendy," Lisanna called.
"I'll be fine," she told her before running off, most of the guards giving chase.
"come on, we mustn't waste time," Carla told them, "Natsu and Wendy are in trouble."
"damn them," Erza said as she slammed her fist into the ground, "they'll pay for making a mockery out of me," she watched the blue-haired girl run through the palace. "I want that one alive," Erza said
as alarms went off, the two exceed, and Lucy and Wendy flew away. "I'm sorry," Carla muttered, "it's our fault we're in this mess."
[##Carla's confession##]
"Yeah," Lucy said, "but you came back, didn't you," Lucy told them "that's all that matters," Lucy told them "besides, I'm still shocked to learn Carla's a princess."
"yeah," Lisanna muttered.
"that was a bluff, obviously," Carls said as she looked to the side to see Happy smiling at her "what's with that smile, Happy," she asked, a slight blush forming on her cheeks.
'did she just call him Happy' Lucy said to herself. 'That's a first.'
"nothing," Happy said, "just that something you would do, isn't it."
"in any case, we need to hurry up and find Natsu and Wendy," Carla said as they came upon the west tower.
"what's that" Lucy looked back only to see a large group of exceeds chasing after them "oh no," she muttered as Nichiya appeared in front
"Surrender now fallen," Nichiya shouted, "there is no escape."
"we're too exposed up here," Carla said, "we need to head down and stay low."
"not a good idea," Happy told her as on the ground, the royal army was waiting for them as all the royal guards surrounded them. "Lucy, can you use your magic."
"this sticky stuff is blocking my magic power," Lucy informed them
"damn it," Carla muttered
as Faust looked on in a fury, "what is the meaning of this" he asked
"the extailian royal guard," Coco said, "they're here to pursue the fallen."
Faust let out a low growl "then it's time," he said, "in act code ETD," he shouted as a large horn went off, and magic cannons appeared along the castle walls.
"we're doing it," Hughes asked.
"it's our city's last line of defense, and he went straight to it," Sugerboy asked with all the confusion Carla and Happy shot down, trying to find an entrance to the western tower as cannons began to charge up, letting out a blinding light-capturing Nichiya and his most of his tropes turning them into a giant cat-shaped lacrmia
"oh no," Lucy muttered as lacrmia hit the ground, "we need to hurry; this may be our only chance at rescuing our friends," Lucy said
"There are no gods in this world," Faust shouted, catching the attention of his army "the days of we humans begging are over; as of now, we will take what is rightfully ours," he said as all the guards cheered. "the time has come for Edolas to rise to the glory it deserves" he screamed.
"Rise"
"Rise"
"Rise"
"but your majesty," Coco asked, "the queen will certainly strike back, and I don't think we will have the power to fight them off."
"We have the dragon slayers," Faust said, "and their magic power is said to surpass that of even exceeds; we will be unstoppable with their power on our side." he laughed "the world as we know it is about to come to an end" he smiled, "and from ashes, my kingdom will create a new world, a better world."
in the basement, Natsu and Wendy were chained to two rocks as Byro got ready to drain their magic
"I don't believe it," Lucy asked. "I didn't know you guys were so close to a war with the exceeds," Lucy asked Lisanna.
"I'll admit I'm as shocked as you," Lisanna said
"We have no stake in the matter," Carla said, "all we need to focus on is rescuing our friends and making sure we make it out of here alive if we're lucky; the royal army and exceeds will wipe each other out."
"I guess," Lisanna said, her mind was faltering the thought of another war-scarred her. "I just hope it doesn't come to that" as they ran a corner, a staff came blowing them back, causing them to land on the ground Erza nightwalker appeared.
"I'm impressed," she said "you just took a direct hit from my magic, and you're still alive" she smiled as she closed in on Lucy,
"my orders said nothing about taking you in alive," a wicked smile forming on her face, "so I guess there's only one option," she said. Still, before she could strike Lucy, Happy jumped in the way knocking her back and causing the footing on the floor to give out.
"oh no, Happy," Lucy cried as she tried to reach the exceed "hold on."

"Natsu," Happy muttered. "I'm sorry, I really thought that this time I would be the one saving you," he said as memories floated in his mind "all the time we spent together, the two of us fighting against the odds, you would never give up not now or never" Lucy then caught Happy before Carla came and caught them at the last second Lisanna being carried by her tail
in another part of the tower, Natsu and Wendy's screams began to echo throughout the chamber; as Byro was draining their magic power, he let out another laugh "my," he mussed at the two, "look at all this magic power, and we're not even halfway done yet."
"Natsu," Wendy muttered, "are you okay."
"yeah," Natsu told her, "whatever happens, you can't let him break you," he told her, "you gotta stay strong."
"I promise I will," Wendy said, "our friends will come for us any minute now."
"so, neither of you are willing to give up, huh," Byro asked "is this full-headedness another dragon slayer trait," he asked as he started to drain more of Natsu's power.
"you can't let them win," he said
"I won't," Wendy said, tears forming in her eyes. "I promise."
"is that a challenge?"
"no, leave her alone, take everything from me."
Lucy, Carla, and Lisanna ran from the edolas guard, cutting a corner "guys over here," they heard as they saw edolas Wendy as she quickly pulled them into a closet; the guards ran past them, letting out a sigh of relief, Lucy looked over at edo Wendy.
"thank you," she told her.
"no problem." edo Wendy said, "still have;t found mini-me or Natsu."
"We were so close," Carla said, "now we're hiding like rats."
"there's a lot of guards in here now," Lisanna said; a scream then echoed through the chamber; realizing this was Wendy, Carla had to sit down "no," Lisanna muttered.
"We can't give up," Happy said, coming to. "Natsu wouldn't," he said as he struggled to stand up "he would keep fighting no matter the odds; if it was us in there, we need to honor his fighting spirit."
"he's right," edo Wendy said, "we can't give up now."

"But what are you going to do," Lisanna asked.
Natsu and Wendy's screams continued to echo through the building, "please don't hurt her."
Wendy and Happy ran out of a hallway charging at the guards "here it is," they shouted in unison, "our poison mist attack" they then realized flowers all over the guards as Happy picked Wendy up, and the two burst through the room.
"wait, this is just flower," one of the guards said, "after them"
"looks like the plan worked," Carla said
"I knew they could do it," Lisanna told her.
"come on," Lucy said as she led the way, only to be blasted back by Erza again, who walked up to them smiling. "did you think that would work" she teased Lucy "it's the oldest trick. In the book."
"not again," Lucy said as Happy and Wendy were thrown in front of them.
"and with that, your devil's luck has run out," Natsu and Wendy's scream echoed again through the chamber as Erza picked up edo Wendy by the head.
"wait, stop," Lisanna asked, "please don't hurt her."
"Really now," she said, holding her spear to Wendy's neck, "I would consider if you weren't enemies to the kingdom.
"I'll give you anything, just, please don't hurt Wendy, I'm begging you," Lisanna told her.
Erza let out a laugh "these bonds you wizards cling to, I'll never understand them," she said "in this world, all you can ever genuinely care about is yourself, and that's it"
"Please," Lisanna muttered, "don't kill her."
Erza nightwalker smiled, but before she could strike, Happy attacked her again, letting go of Wendy as she gripped the exceed and threw him in front of Carla.
"Happy," Carla screamed.
"you won't hurt them," Happy muttered, standing, back on his feet, "you'll have to kill me first."
at hearing this, Erza nightwalker smiled "fine then," she said, "you wish my command," she said, but before she could strike Happy, a large block of ice struck her, knocking her back
"you just made a big mistake, lady," a voice called Happy Carla, and Lucy looked on in shock as two figures appeared from the smoke standing behind them Erza looked on in confusion "you know they're with us, and you went and messed with them anyway."
"Anyone who harms our friends," another voice, this time was a more feminine one, "will pay the price at our hands."
"I don't believe it," Happy muttered.
"We thought you were gone," Carla muttered.
"you made a big mistake," the voice called again, "you picked a fight with the wrong group of wizards."
Lucy's shock soon turned to a smile as tears formed on her face.
"Erza, Gray"

I hope this chapter wasn't too confusing; I tried my best to balance it out, but a lot happened in this chapter, so that it may have been well; what was written, I'll try to contain it better in the future. as always, R&R and I'll see you in the next one

Happy: true, but she's also a fighter
