Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to the next chapter of a fairy tail re-told. Will our heroes be able to save magnolia in time? Can they prevent the kingdom from completely draining Natsu and Wendy's magic? Find out in the new exciting chapter of a fairy tail re-told
Let's get to the story.
The guards looked on in shock as Erza and Gray walked up to them "is that the captain" one asked "she looks just like her," he asked as Erza glared at her "no, those are earth land wizards."
"you punks have some explaining to do," Gray said as he let out an attack "where are friends? Your king turned into a lacrmia," he shouted as edo Erza rushed to attack only to meet with the cold glare of Erza as she sent her back cutting off a string of her hair as Erza walked to Lucy "are you okay," Erza looked back practically daring one of the remaining guards to strike at her.

edo Erza then let out another attack, which she managed to stop, a small grin from appearing on her face. She faced off against herself
Erza vs. Erza: who are you fighting for
another scream echoed through the halls as Erza looked back in horror "what was that" she questioned as it went quiet.
"it had to be Wendy," Carla said, "she's in trouble."
"that scream came from down the hall," Happy said
Erza faced, fueled with hatred, as she glared at her double " Gray, get Lucy and go save Natsu; time is of the essence," she told him as she struck at edo Erza again, leaving a scratch on the cheek. "I can handle this now; go."
"right," Gray shouted; he ran to Lucy, freezing off the sticky substance, then did the same for Lisanna and Wendy "come on," he said
"wait, how did you get here," Lucy asked.
"and where's your shirt," Lisanna said, covering edo Wendy's eyes, who only tried to remove them
"I'll explain later," he said. "Come on," as they left, both Erza's glared at each other "I'll admit, I never thought I'd have to fight against myself," edo Erza told her.
"It is peculiar," Erza told her, "but you harmed my friends" her look was now one of pure hatred " I swore I would allow no harm to come to them ever again, the mere fact that you did it with my face, you will pay."
"is that so" edo Erza's spear then changed. "Silfarion," she shouted as she then let out a burst of speed, catching Erza off guard as she jumped away at the last second.
"she's fast" Erza dodged several more attacks before landing, changing to her flight armor Erza then rushed at her counterpart, the blades clashing, sending sparks through the air.
"she changed her armor, and her speed increased," smiling edo Erza then fired of blast for her spear, sending Erza through the wall "explosion," edo Erza shouted Erza blocked again, sending her through another wall. She then appeared in her flame empress armor. "I see, so your magic allows you to change your armor."
"a little unfair isn't it," Erza said, "especially since you seem only to be able to change your spear."
"While that may be true," edo Erza told her, "my battle strength is boosted by whatever weapon I wield," she smiled as she readied her weapon for another attack, "allow me to show you the ten commandments."
"So, wait," Lucy asked as they ran through the halls, "you were trapped in Lacrima in the plaza."
"Yeah, that's the one," Gray said
"Wait, so how did you turn back to normal" Happy asked.
"it's all thanks to Gajeel," Gray told them. "I don't know where we'd be if it weren't for him."
Flashback
Gajeel smiled "now I can get to work," he said as he ditched his cloak, shocking the soldiers "{Iron dragon: club}" Gajeel shouted as he punched his way through the then leaped into the sky. Pulling out his sword, he slashed the giant lacrmia with all his might "ain't no stopping me," he shouted as a bright light shined over the palace
soon, both Erza and Gray appeared from the Lacrima, both on the ground as Gajeel backed up in shock "you gotta be kidding me, it was only the two of them," he asked "your free, so look alive," he shouted as the pair stood up the dead look on their faces gone
"wait, what," Gray asked
"where are we," Erza said as she looked at Gajeel, who was smiling
"I'll explain later," he told them, "but first, we need to get out of here."
the guards then charged at them as Gray got ready to attack, only his magic didn't work "wait, huh, my magic's not working," he said
"I said I'll explain everything later," Gajeel told them as he munched on a piece of Iron "{Iron dragon: roar}" large explosion is heard as the three-run of escaping the guards
later after they had managed to escape the guards, "so Gajeel," Gray asked, "mind telling me why you can use magic here."
"I'll tell you," he said as he pulled something out, "but first you gotta take one of these," he said as he motioned with a container of tiny red balls, the same one Mystogen gave Lucy.
"First, tell us what's going on," Erza asked.
"I thought the king turned the two of you into a lacrmia," a voice called it was edo Gajeel; he smiled as he approached the group, "you told me it would be easy, and I expect no less from the earth land version of me," he said as he revealed his face shocking both Gray and Erza.
"Although we look alike, we're quite different," edo Gajeel informed them,
"gotta say this guy was a big help in finding you too," Gajeel said, smiling "crazy how much he looks like me; we're like twins."
"never mind that," Erza shouted, "what do you mean we were all turned into a lacrmia."
"guess she's not impressed," Gajeel muttered.
"I doubt any girl would be impressed by two of that ugly mugs," Gray told them, which caused them to deflate.
"in any case, the kingdom turned all your friends and even your whole town into a lacrmia," edo Gajeel told them "hell, the one in the plaza was so big we thought all of your friends would be inside it."
"if that's the case, how big is the main lacrmia," Gajeel asked
"so many questions," Gray muttered "first, what's that stuff your forcing on us," Gray asked
"oh these," Gajeel said, "there x-balls they help us earth land wizards use our magic," he explained to them. "Mystogen gave them to me before sending me here."
"Mystogen," Erza asked, "he has a part in this."
"yeah," Gajeel said, "though he didn't tell me much."
End Flashback
"that's right," Happy said. "I almost forgot that Gajeel is a dragon slayer, so the anima didn't work on him makes sense."
"so that means edolas magic isn't effective on dragon slayers," Lucy asked.
"I couldn't tell you," Lisanna said, "the only thing we know is that dragon slayers from earth land are said to be as strong as the exceed."
"yeah," Gray said, "according to Mystogen, dragon slayer magic can do more here than in earth land; it can even turn lacrima's back into people.
"We saw the giant lacrmia on our way here," Happy told him. "I can lead Gajeel to it."
"really," Lucy asked.
"That means we can call of Gajeel; he's out there rampaging trying to find it," Gray said, "you sure you can lead him to it."
"I can," Happy said, "as long as you're sure he can turn everyone back" as Gray nodded, Happy flew off, "don't worry, we'll save everyone," he shouted as he flew off.
"think they'll be okay," Lucy asked.
"it's Gajeel," Gray told her, "he's about strong as Natsu and Erza remember."
"speaking of which, they've gotten reticent," edo Wendy said
"umm, have we met," Gray asked
"that the edolas version of Wendy and the edolas version of Lisanna," Lucy told him, "come on, I'll explain everything on the way there."
As they ran, Lucy explained everything about the past few days to Gray; as they neared the door, they could hear the faint sound of crying as Gray kicked the door in. He stopped when he saw both Natsu and Wendy on the ground. Natsu looked like he was out cold Wendy was still conscious but had her eyes barely open next to Natsu.
"wake up, Natsu," she muttered as tears fell from her face, "please just open your eyes" seeing this edo Wendy's mind flashed back to when she found edolas Natsu in the rain; her brain was practically frozen as Gray and Lucy ran up to the pair.
"I'm so sorry, Wendy," Carla cried as her friends muttered her name before falling.
"oh no," Lucy said, "he out," she said
"quick," Gray said, "let's force-feed them some X-balls," Gray said as he popped one into Natsu's mouth. As he started to let out a violent cough before opening his eyes.
"Natsu," Lisanna and edo Wendy said happily.
"you okay," Lucy asked him softly before he slammed his fist into the ground; a large flame ignited from his hand, scaring both Lisanna and edo Wendy.
"I'm fine," he told her, "but we need to hurry," he shouted before running off, leaving behind the three more confused than ever.
Gray had since given Wendy her X-ball as the girl sat up, wiping the tears from her face "oh hey, Carla," Wendy muttered, still recovering. "when did you get here" she asked as she leaned back.
"Wendy," Carla said in relief, "are you hurt, child."
"no, I'm fine," Wendy told her, "but our friends are in trouble."
Byro smiled as he approached King Faust; "sorry to make you wait, your majesty, but we have successfully taken all the dragon slayer magic," he said, "weaponizing will prove to be a simple task."
"excellent, Byro."
"it's horrible," Wendy muttered "the king of edolas plans to use me and Natsu's magic power to fire the giant lacrmia right into Extalia, then magical power will rain down from the sky over the city forever.
"but if he does that," Gray muttered.
"our friends."
"so many innocent lives," Lisanna muttered, " he can't be serious."
"no, they're serious," edo Wendy muttered, "over the chatter I heard said there getting ready for a war with the exceed, this might be his way of striking in one blow."
"then we gotta stop him," Lucy said "we aren't just talking about magic power; we're talking about lives here," before they could move, Natsu came back into the room.
"There are two Erza's," Natsu shouted, scaring them "a showdown between those two monsters, the world is doomed, I tell you," he said as he finally noticed Gray "wait, are you our Gray or weird Gray."
"I don't know what you're talking about, but you better quit it before you get a left hook to the jaw," Gray shouted.
"I guess that answers that; he obviously our Gray Natsu," Lucy said. A part of her would be lying if she said she didn't miss this
"wait, you're our Gray," Wendy asked, "why didn't you say something."
"wait, you're just noticing that," Carla asked, to which the young dragon slayer nodded.
Letting out a gasp in shock. Gray started to fade into the background "it's cause it's so dark in here, right," he muttered, "it's not cause I'm some lame loser who is practically invisible to you.
"Stop sulking," Lucy told him.
"did you guys save us a minute ago" Natsu questioned "oh, and your all okay," Natsu said
"I guess all dragon slayers are oblivious," Lucy muttered
"I can see that," Lisanna muttered
"I didn't mean to offend you, honest," Wendy shouted "thank you for saving us," she said, giving a quick bow.
"eh, don't mention it," Gray muttered.
Wendy then smiled as she brought Carla in for a hug "thank you, Carla," she said as she tightened her grip
"dude, you're naked in front of the kid," Natsu told Gray, "not cool."
"I mean, you can stay shirtless, I don't mind," edo Wendy said, a light blush on her cheeks
"Wendy," Lisanna shouted
later the group had made their way to a small armory to get Gray a jacket and edo Wendy and Lisanna something to defend themselves with "come on, let's go," Natsu said as he led them. Down a hallway."
"wait, what about Erza," Lucy asked.
"you wanna get between that" Gray asked.
"you make a good point," Lucy told him as they ran off, leaving Wendy behind
"Carla," Wendy asked, "I think we should head to Extalia."
"what," Carla asked in shock.
"no," she shouted, " I refuse to go back to that place," she told her. "I could care less about what happens to those creatures."
"but what if the kingdom has more weapons" Wendy argued, "it's our right, not as humans or exceeds, but as living beings to warn them," she told her, "it's what we do."
Carla smiled "when you did, you go and get so mature," she muttered as her memories of being with Lucky and Marl popped into her head "fine, we'll go," she said as she activated her wings," as they flew by Natsu and the others.
"we're going to warn the exceed," Wendy told them.
"Okay, be safe," Natsu shouted.
"you sure she can do it," Lisanna asked, "exceeds aren't exactly friendly."
"don't worry, a dragon slayer can handle anything."
outside the palace, Happy flew through the streets to where a group of guards had surrounded Gajeel. "Hey, Gajeel."
Gajeel smiled as he saw Happy, "good to see ya, furball."
"I know where the Lacrima is, so I'm going to take you there, okay" Happy said as he picked Gajeel up and flew him to where the Lacrima was. "did have to do anything special to turn Gray and Erza back to normal."
"Just had to hit with dragon slayer magic," he told him,
"really," Happy asked, "is Mystogen somewhere in Edolas."
"I don't know."
as the pair landed, they saw how huge the lacrmia was up close "damn," Gajeel muttered, "they don't Magnolia the city of magic for nothing now do they" he said as he got ready. "I expect a full buffet of Iron for this"
"oh yeah, all the Iron you want."
Before either could move, a giant sword struck them, causing both to back up; they saw Panther lily, which had extended his wings. He smiled as he glared both down.

"captain of the first magic warfare unit, you may call me panther lily," he shouted "that lacrmia is an important part of my operation," Lily said, "if you take a step forward you're dead."
"those wings," Happy muttered, " he must be an exceed."
"Stay back," Gajeel told Happy, "{iron dragon sword}."
"buster marm," his sword changed shape and crashed into the ground, causing Gajeel to jump out of the way.
"he's strong," Gajeel muttered.
"it's over," Panther lily told him, "you can't defeat me."
as Natsu Gray, Lucy, Lisanna, and edo Wendy ran through the halls, "so any idea where the king is hiding"
"guessing since he's a king and all, I guess in some high and mighty place," Gray said
"no need to be a smart ass," Natsu shouted.
"we'll. I was only answering your question, flame brain," Gray shouted back.
"Are they always like this" edo Wendy asked
"reminds me of Lucy and Levy," Lisanna muttered "they fight over anything.
"This place is odd," Lucy muttered to herself as she ignored Gray and Natsu's antics " the cells are way up high, and the courtyard is like a maze" Lucy let out a sigh. "I've heard of eccentric castles, but this one takes the cake."
"what are you blabbing about over there," Natsu asked.
"I know this place is weird but come on, Lucy," Gray told her.
"Fraid so," Lucy told them, "I wouldn't be surprised if they hid an amusement park in here."
after running around the palace for a few more minutes Natsu and Gray stopped; the shocked expression came onto their face as Lisanna, and edo Wendy looked on in confusion as Lucy caught up with them.
"what is" Lucy stopped when she found she saw what they were looking at an amusement park hidden in the castle. "I was only kidding."
"This king is a nut job," Natsu said as a weird look grew on his face
"you can't call anyone a nut job with that look on your face," Gray told him as they entered the amusement park
as they walked, one of the carousels started to turn on, reveling sugar boy "man, I love merry go rounds," he said, "wanna give this one a try" he asked; behind them, a ship activated, causing them to jump to the side
"man," Hughes said, popping up, "unlimited magic power is right in our grasp, and it's making me angry just thinking about it."
"sugar boy," edo Wendy muttered, "and Hughes."
"our kingdom is close to having everlasting magic power, and we're willing to do anything to get it," he said
"and if anyone gets in our way," he said, smiling, "we gotta cut 'em down."
