Chapter 338: Operation: Find Camie

The Rosey Life Riders (formerly The Flying Fish Riders) arrived at the Thousand Sunny. Of course Duval was still very narcissistic thanks to his new look.

"Hello! It's me handsome! I mean Duval!" said Duval, "Thanks for calling Master Black Leg."

"Took you long enough." Growled out Sanji.

"Now I would say that." Said Duval trying to wink.

"Stop winking… just… stop…" said Isaribi with a sweat drop.

"You ran into human traffickers?" asked Duval.

"Wait… didn't you try to kidnap her too?" asked Sasuke.

"I wasn't planning to sell her a slave." Said Duval, "I'm not a monster! I was just a kidnapper."

"If you say so…" muttered Sasuke.

"He is a weirdo, so I believe it." Said Isaribi.

"Anyways you know the saying, to catch a thief you need a thief." Said Franky.

"Of course I'm happy to help." Said Duval.

"Is it a good idea to use these guys?" asked Usopp.

"Of course it is… Handsome here was just going to be a nearby island to meet girls!" said Duval then became depressed, "I wasn't as popular as I thought it would."

"I can fix the bone structure… I can't perform miracles." Said Sanji with a sweat drop.

"But no matter! We will find the mermaid before they sell her. These seas are like our backyard. I already have ideas on where they've taken her. Don't worry we got this! Let's ride!" Said Duval.

Meanwhile at Sabaody Chopper was about to panic.

"It's okay." Said Sakura as she, Brook and Ino were with him.

"But Luffy, Hatchan, Naruto, Hinata, Kiba, Akamaru and Pappagu went to search for her! We shouldn't' be splitting up." Said Chopper.

"But pancaking might make things worse." Said Ino.

"How can it makes thing worse?" asked Chopper.

"We're in pubic and you might make a scene." Said Sakura.

Chopper blushed when she said that.

"Their right, there's not much we can do but relax." Said Brook drinking some tea.

"I wouldn't go that far…" said Sakura weight a sweat drop looking at him.

"But panicking will do nothing… so let's just wait calmly and someone will show up." Said Ino.

And soon enough a group of Flying Fish Riders along with Usopp showed up.

Meanwhile the other group was at a human shop.

Luffy was shaking down the guy who ran it.

"Are you sure no one came in here with a mermaid!" yelled Luffy.

"I'm sure!" yelled the guy, "In fact we don't have a warehouse, what you see here is all we have."

"SO this fake mermaid is all you have?" asked Naruto.

"Hey! She's not fake!" yelled the guy.

"I can see the costume seems." Said Kiba with a sweat drop.

"And his underwear." Said Naruto.

And of course they continued their search after that.

"No clones have killed themselves yet." Grumbled Naruto.

"Camie! Where are you!" yelled Luffy.

"Um… Luffy I don't know if that's a good idea." Said Hinata.

"It's all my fault!" cried Pappagu, "I shouldn't have let Camie go to the Amusement Park! The place is a buffet for human traffickers!"

"It's fine." Said Hinata.

"I don't' quite get it, but she was happy at the amusement park, isn't that a good thing?" asked Luffy.

"No it's not actually." cried Pappagu, "The truth it isn't good for any mermaid or fishman to be on this island at all! But Hatchi really wanted to help you."

"Really?" asked Kiba.

"Why?" asked Luffy.

"Pappagu don't say anymore!" yelled Hatchan.

However Pappagu was going to tell them.

"Camie and Hatchi's enemies aren't just the human traffickers, but every human that live on this island." Said Pappagu.

Meanwhile at the mall, Fu flew alongside Nami and Robin, as Robin explained about the history of the island.

"200 years ago?" asked Nami.

"Yes the world was a very different place." Said Robin, "Fishmen and Mer-people were classified as fish and all humans looked down on them."

"But their very strong." Said Nami.

"Strength doesn't do much against numbers." Said Robin.

"That's a good point." Said Fu.

"Until the world government made good relations with Fishman Island, slavery and human trafficking were a normal part of society."

"That's really messed up." Said Fu.

"Still that culture still exists on this island and that may explain why Fishmen and Mermaids are still persecuted here." Said Robin.

Nami was quiet as Robin said that.

"Is that why Camie and Hatchan are disguising humans while here?" asked Nami.

"Probably it makes a lot of sense!" said Fu, "Wait! What about Isaribi!"

"What?" asked Nami.

"I know she not a real Fishman or Fish woman! But there might be a chance someone sees her transform!" said Fu.

"I didn't think of that." Sighed Robin, "But I'm sure she's fine."

That was when they heard a noise.

"Nami! Robin! Fu!" called out Isaribi who was with some of the Flying Fish riders.

"Oh she is fine! Never mind!" said Fu.

"Camie was kidnapped!" called out Isaribi.

"Okay… no longer worried about Isaribi." Said Fu.

However Nami and Robin were shocked by this fact.

Back with Luffy's group.

"Discrimination?" asked Luffy.

"That's how place works. Understand that or look like a fool." Said Pappagu.

"Then why didn't you just say that to being with!" said Naruto.

"I'm sorry we just didn't want to worry you!" cried Pappagu.

"Sorry Straw Hat… I really wanted to help you! But I only caused trouble!" said Hatchan.

"What are you talking about!" yelled Luffy, "You're our friends!"

"Don't worry! No matter what we'll get her back!" said Naruto.

"Straw Hat…" cried Pappagu.

That was when they heard the noise from flying Fish. They were ready to help them.

At the human auction house not only were there Celestial Dragons arriving, but two of Luffy's rivals, Kid and Law.

Not only that but Camie was defiant at the auction house. Even with the guy running it beating her.

However he suddenly passed out for no reason.

Unaware of an old man chained up behind bars. With none of them knowing how powerful he was… or just who he was.

And none of them knew how the old man would be a great help to the Straw Hats for a while.

Next Time: The Search continues for Camie. However things become more strained when they find where she is. And Nami knows they have to play at their level. What will happen? find out next time!
