Edo Gajeel peered his head from the side of a wall. In his hand was a notebook "exceed destruction or code ETD for short, a plan to liberate themselves from these so-called angels" Gajeel tipped his hat as he walked away. 'I'll have to pass the word around.'
meanwhile, in the e-land where Lucy Byro and Coco found each other, "Coco" Byro's shrill voice rang over the air. "I'll tell you one more time," he shouted, "hand over that key."
"what," Lucy asked, "what are you doing to this poor girl."
"don't worry, kid," Lucy told her. "I won't let him hurt you anymore," Lucy told her as she got into a defensive stance.
The river of stars, for pride's sake.
"you," Byro muttered, "your one of those meddling earth land wizards," he asked as Lucy stepped back the look he was giving her, sending chills up her spine "hand over that key this instant," he screamed at her.
'I've run into a lot of creeps in my day, but this one takes the cake," Lucy said to herself, 'and what key is he is talking about? Natsu and Lisanna can handle themselves, but this girl needs me' Lucy reached into her back and gripped Taurus' key "oh I'll give you a key alright."
"I don't think this girl understands what's going on," Coco muttered to herself
on the Lacrima, Gajeel dodged another one of Lily's attacks "this guy got us on the ropes," Happy told Gajeel as he pulled him out of danger " I hope you have a plan here, Gajeel, or we're done for."
"oh, I got a plan," Gajeel told him, "just having some fun" he then blocked another attack from Lily, throwing Happy into the lacrmia" not every day you get someone that gets you to sweat."
"you should take this more seriously," Lily shouted at Gajeel, "take your eyes off me for a second, and it will be your last mistake."
"you could have warned me, ya know," Happy shouted.
"Now, where's the fun in that," Gajeel told him as he stared down panther lily, "and I'm taking this seriously, just having some fun facing a real challenge for a change, so what do you say we skip the comedy, and start fighting for real."
'seeing what we're up against, I'm more worried about the others," Happy sighed. 'I hope they're okay down there, be careful.'
"{open gate of the golden bull: Taurus"}."
"what in blazes a magic cow," Byro said in shock as Taurus now stood in front of Lucy
"the magic from earth land is incredible," Coco said in amazement, "but he seems naughty."
"If I do this, will you finally give me that smooch," Taurus asked, still made about the last time
"make him see stars, and I promise I'll at least think about it," Lucy told him.
"stars coming up," he shouted as he attacked Byro, who managed to jump away as
"that's my Taurus," Lucy said in excitement.
"This ain't my first rodeo," he responded, "time for lights out," he called as he got ready to attack again.
"be careful," Coco warned, "he's mighty."
'how, what kind of magic is this? She was able to produce a bovine best from then air'. He then pulled out a bottle of "lights on flame liquid," He shouted, sending out the fire that burnt Taurus, which caused him to disappear; he then sent out another bottle, "storm liquid."
"damn it," Lucy cried as she jumped back, "alright then, {open gate of the maiden: Virgo}" Virgo then burst from the ground landing an uppercut on Byro.
" another person from out of nowhere, could she be using magic similar to the anima," he asked.
"punishment time," Virgo shouted, "spike a hole," she struck a large hole in the ground before kicking Byro into it.
"oh yeah," Lucy screamed in victory.
"will you punish me now, princess," Virgo asked, making Lucy shout at her.
"and she's a princess too, wow," Coco said in amazement "maybe I should give her this" Coco looked to the ground. "I mean, I would love all that magic power, but if the king gets it, he'll hurt Lily, man, this is hard." The ground then started shaking.
"what's that" Lucy asked
"probably just your tummy," Virgo told her, "hungry."
"way off base," Lucy told her.
"am I in trouble" before Lucy could retort again, a giant octopus busted out of the ground, grabbing Coco, scarring the girl as it started laughing.
"What is that," Lucy asked in fear
"it appears to be a giant octopus," Virgo told her.
"I ingested octopus liquid," Byro told them "now, no otherworldly magic is strong enough to help you now, Coco," he said, "but I won't be satisfied until I've dealt with the likes; of you."
"Virgo"
"I'm afraid I can't help you with this," Virgo said before picking Lucy up and dodging one of Byro's tentacles "you always have bad luck with men," Virgo told her as she was struck, launching he rand Lucy.
"you call that a man," she said as she landed. "Virgo, you gotta get me down from here."
"princess, catch," she shouted; she threw something at Lucy, which narrowly missed her head.
"you almost took my head off with that thing," Lucy screamed," what is it anyway."
"it's an extendable whip from the celestial world," Virgo told her, " the Eridanus Fleuve d'étoiles, you can use it if you like, princess, but I don't think it would be much help."
"try and stay positive," Lucy told her before Byro struck again. Virgo shouted good Luck to Lucy, "I'll have to give it a shot," Lucy shouted as she let's go; she then activated the whip, which was a jet of flowing water is created from the handle, which remains compact, and twists as if it were a whip's rope part. however, it barely did anything to Byro, who then knocked her to the side "damn, Virgo was right."
"looks like you're out of tricks," he shouted before he could strike again; another large ship launched itself at him pushing him "what is this" a rope shot and grabbed Lucy, pulling her up. "Hughes, is that you."
"guess again, fish brain," a voice called, which was revealed to be edolas Wendy.
"Wendy"
"if it's any transportation, I can use it," she shouted as she continued to ram into Byro, who broke the ship, swinging from the rope and gripping Lucy as they jumped out the way, landing atop a building "damn, I thought that would work"
"what's the matter" Byro taunted "out of ideas," he said as he started to squeeze Coco, "did you earth land magic fail you."
"my magic," Lucy said, realization coming to her 'every time I summon multiple spirits, I drain all my magic powers. A smile formed on her face as she stood up, a fire in her eyes as she looked to the edolas Wendy "you still have your magic cannon thing."
"umm yeah, why," edo Wendy asked.
"good, wait for my signal" Lucy then ran at Byro again 'that's why Virgo gave me this; it fills me with strength, knowing that my spirits care for me" using her whip again, she attached to Byro and started to swing around.
"stop that," Byro shouted.
"let her go now," Lucy shouted.
"she's a part of our army," Byro told her, "therefore, your enemy, it shouldn't matter to you what happens to this girl."
"It does," Lucy shouted, "cause it's clear you don't," she called as tears started to form in Coco's eyes to see what she was planning. Wendy smiled as she got ready "if you feel that way about your comrades, then I have to take you down," she shouted as she pulled her whip, tightening the knot she made with Byro's remaining tentacles.
"what"
"Wendy now"

"aw yeah," edo Wendy shouted, "always wanted to fire a cannon" she then used the ship's magic cannon to fire four shots at Byro, ultimately knocking him down in front of the monster high.
Coco fell from the remaining tentacle and was grabbed by Lucy, pulling her to where she was "you okay," Lucy asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she said
"Lucy, that was awesome," edo Wendy shouted.
"I won't lose," Byro muttered until his entire body lit up in flame "what is this" he screamed, "it burns."
"right on cue," Lucy said
"what do you-"
Natsu then burst from behind the wall screaming, punching Hughes right in the face, "so you think I'm a monster, huh" he shouted "well, you ain't seen nothing yet, pal," he screamed as he destroyed the building and complete friend both Byro and Hughes.
"oh," Coco muttered in amazement as Natsu landed on the ground. Lucy and Wendy both grew smirks on their faces. "I don't believe it; they took out Byro and Hughes."
"huh, where'd that giant octopus come from," Natsu asked
"you always know how to make an entrance," Lucy told him.
"who's the girl," Natsu asked as Lisanna ran outside, catching her breath, and smiled. She looked at Coco with a look of concern.
"I don't know," Lucy said, "Lisanna."
"that's Coco," Lisanna said "apparently, she's the chief of staff," Lisanna said, "why is she trembling like that."
"I think they've been torturing her," Lucy told her, "look at her feet."
"oh, you poor thing," Lisanna said, "hold on," she said as Coco clutched the key tightly, only to greet Lisanna's warm smile as she put something on her feet; she didn't know what it was, but it eased the pain.
"wow, she knows healing magic over here," Natsu asked.
"yeah," Lisanna answered, "with the group I hang with, it was a necessity. they can be pretty wild, that and it's the best way to help people," she told him. "that and well, your counterpart didn't know how to walk away from a fight without getting him but kicked." she laughed as Natsu turned away blushing.
'maybe I can trust them,' Coco said to herself; she then loosed her grip on the key "they were after this," she said, getting their attention " this is the key there going to use to destroy your friends, they promised everlasting power, but" Coco froze tears forming on her face again, "but I chose everlasting friendship instead" she shouted, "so please I'm begging you, you have to destroy it."
"so you mean that's what powers their dragon chain cannon," Natsu asked, "and all we have to do to stop them is destroy it" Natsu smiled "just hand it here," he asked as he reached to grab the key he instead got a salamander as Sugar-boy rushed off with the key.
"Hmm," he smiled as he slid off, "you should know better, Coco," he said, "handing off something as important as this," he said as he slid off.
"oh no," Natsu said
"get back here you."
"Gray," they both shouted.
"don't worry, guys, I got this," he shouted as he drove off. "I'll leave the rest to you," he said as he then turned his attention back to Sugar-boy
"hmm- you're a persistent one, aren't you" he teased as Gray followed him, "like a rash that won't go away."
"come and say that to my face," Gray shouted.
"I'll deal with you quickly, Rosa Sparta" he then turned the ground to liquid as he slid off. Gray managed to avoid this, but Natsu and Lucy were about to get caught.
"damn, we need to get to higher ground," he grabbed both Lisanna and edo Wendy before jumping up. Lucy using her new whip, grabbed Coco shocking her as the pair swung onto a top of a building as most of the park started to sink in on itself.
"We hope you enjoyed your time at E-land; the park is now Clo...sing ple...se. mak...e-" the announcer said, dying out as the park shut down
Gray and Sugar-boy now found themselves in a long hallway as Gray continued to give chase "stop," Gray shouted, "what do you want with that key" he called.
"It belongs to his majesty," Sugar-boy told him. That's all you need to know."
"given how Natsu and Lucy were reacting and what Wendy told me, I can only assume that's for whatever they plan to use to turn the Lacrima into a bomb," Gray told himself "then I guess that means I can't let you get away {Ice make: Floor}."
"hmm, haven't you learned anything you throw at me? I can liquefy," he turned Gray's Ice into the water; he started to spin out of control, crashing into a wall.
"turn my ice into the water all you want. It's not going to stop you from gaining momentum," Gray shouted. He spun around and threw the motorbike he was on at Sugar-boy, who melted it as Gray jumped behind him "now break," he called as he incased his and sure-boys arm in ice 'huh, why? didn't it break?"
"Hmm," Sugar-boy muttered, "this is cold, Ice-boy."
"don't call me that," Gray shouted. "I hate it when people call me that."
"Now don't get me wrong, Ice-boy, this ice sure is cold, but this key ain't made from no flimsy metal," Sugar-boy smiled, "so I'm not too fond of holding hands with other men at length, so would mind letting go," he said as the ice increased.
"speaking of hands, wouldn't you say, I have the upper one right now" this got a look of confusion from Sugar gray as an evil smirk appeared on Gray's face "you and your king might need this key, but my friends and I don't," he said as his ice started to increase "so to me it's worthless."
"I can simply use my Rosa Sparta sword to break it free," Sugar boy told him.
"yeah, but one wrong move, and you'll turn this key into a pretzel," Gray said.
"well, fine-tuned is my middle name," he said before attacking Gray's Ice as Gray attempted to cool and freeze it faster than he could melt it. Before long, the key started to break "what you broke it"
"oh, you bet I did," Gray shouted, "now watch it shatter."
"wait," Sugar-boy pleaded, "you and your friends need it too," he shouted, but Gray ignored him as he continued to crack the key "come on, man, please truce, you and your alleys need this key just as much as we do" before long, Gray had slammed him against the wall.
"and why should I" he shouted.
"cause you and your allies need it to," he said, trying to catch his breath "the dragon chain cannon fires condensed dragon slayer magic," he told him, "you have no idea what the kind of power is. Cable off."
Gray froze as he remembered what Gajeel had told him. 'I used my dragon slayer magic to smash the Lacrima cause apparently, that's how it works in this crazy world' smirk appeared on Gray's face "we have three dragon slayers; why would we need this."
"yeah," Sugar-boy said, "but by tomorrow morning, the Lacrmia would be turned into pure magic power; with three dragon slayers, you could save some of your friends," Sugar-boy said, "but then what of the innocent civilians, hmm, will you let them die," he asked as Gray glared daggers at him before smiling.
"you just told me everything I need to know," he said before shattering the key shocking Sugar-boy
"you broke it," he said before falling to the ground. "I wasn't bluffing, you know," he shouted as Gray walked away "don't you realize you sentenced your friends to death."
[##Ice boy ost##]
"Oh, don't worry, we're all going home," Gray shouted, "you can count on it," he cried, "{Ice blade seven strike dance}," he called as he struck Sugar boy, sending him flying into a wall.
"you made a big mistake, Ice boy," Sugar-boy told him, "that was the only thing that could have saved your friends, and you destroyed it like a fool."
"oh yeah," Gray asked, holding back a laugh, "you know why I don't like to be called Ice boy, he said. Sugar boy looked back in shock as Gray was now holding a perfect replica of the key made out of Ice.
"because I'm an Ice make Wizard."

Our heroes finally have the upper hand and have managed to overcome most of the elite captains of the magic warfare unit. All comes down to one final shot. Will they be able to overcome the king of edolas and see their friends safely home? Find out next time.
