Hey, fairy tail fans, I'm back with the next chapter in a fairy tail re-told. So, I should finish this arc soon, but I'll tell you that update when I hit the final chapter for this arc, so stay tuned. But enough about me and my personal writing life. Let's get on with the story.

Last time on a fairy tale re-told

Natsu: we managed to take down three members of the royal guard. Gray: and we have the key to their dragon chain cannon

Lucy: Looks like things are finally going our way.

Happy: Aye sir

Both Erza stood on the opposing side of each other, trying to catch their breath before edo Erza let a smile form on her face. The look of pure hatred her opponent gave her was lovely, "so how much do you hate me," she asked.

Erza said nothing as she got ready to attack again, only for edo Erza to dodge and block, "or maybe it's something else is."

"shut up," Erza shouted as she swung her sword again, "you will fall here, by my hand."

Letting out a chuckle, edo Erza, "we'll see about that, Scarlett."

The dragon chain cannon

In extailia, both Wendy and Carla had managed to arrive looking around as exceeds from all overlook and point at the pair exceeds look at her in horror "look it the fallen, and she's with a human" she's not supposed to be up here," another said "disgusting, what's the meaning of this" everyone shouted, "go home human."

ignoring all the remarks, Wendy looked around, letting the surroundings be taken in "extailia is in danger; we need to talk to your queen right away."

Nadi made his way to the front of the crowd "you two can't be here," he shouted, "humans and fallen are forbidden from entering extailia for any circumstances," he told them, "how did you escape captain Nichiya."

"King Faust turned him and his royal guard into a giant lacrmia," Carla told him, "you need to hear us out. Your all-in grave danger."

everyone in the crowd started to laugh, and only Nadi seemed to be affected by the news he had just heard. "We're not kidding," Wendy shouted as the exceed laughed even harder.

"Yeah, right."

"humans can't hope to beat our royal guard."

"even if they did attack, the queen would just blast them with their magic."

"Please, you're going to get hurt," Wendy said before getting hit by a rock.

"you're going to get hurt," some shouted as they all started to throw rocks at Wendy and Carl "the queen would never run from a fight," Nadi began to back up. Pure terror was etched on his face as he watched his fellow exceed stone the young girl and Carla.

Wendy had brought Carla in for a hug and started to shield her from the rocks. "Wendy, you need to leave," Carla begged as the exceeds shouted at them to leave.

Nadi could say anything but watch

on the Lacrima, Gajeel took another hit from Lily's sword as he came to a stop. Happy jumped back as Gajeel smiled "what" Lily asked in confusion "normally, this sword would cut through Iron as easily as it would cut through butter, so how are you able to stop it with your bare hands."

"that's cause iron dragon scales aren't your regular old metal," Gajeel told him, "so why don't you answer me this? If you're supposed to be one of those super cats, why are you fighting for the other side."

"y-yeah," Happy said, scared, "if you're an exceed like me, then you must love fish," Happy said as he reached into his bag "h-here y-you c-c-can have mine."

"I made that decision long ago," Lily told them. "I left that place behind me, that infernal kingdom of lies," he said as he swung his sword again, only for it to be blocked by Gajeel.

"I'm guessing you didn't fit in there," Gajeel muttered, remembering how it was when he first went to Magnolia, the looks he gets when walking through town, the ones of terror and fear. "I know all about that," he said as he began to power up and shattered Lily's sword, "but that doesn't matter cause I'm still making you my cat," he shouted, shocking Happy.

"impossible," Lily muttered as Gajeel jumped at him before he could react, "he shattered buster marm."

"man, Salamander and that girl will be so Jealous," he shouted as he let out his Iron dragon roar, sending panther lily to the ground.

"man was his, butt-kicking switch turned on," Happy muttered.

Lily stood up, shedding most of his armor as a smile formed on his face "you're good" he then started punching Gajeel, who punched back the entered a path of pure punching as Happy looked in confusion.

"is just me, or is Gajeel getting distracted," Happy asked

in the royal palace; Gray stood triumph over sugar-boy as Natsu caught up with him. "Gray," he shouted, "can't run forever, can ya," he asked,

"umm, what," Gray asked.

"you got the key," Natsu asked.

"yeah, where's Lucy," Gray asked.

"huh," Natsu said, "oh, her and the others are looking for a way out here," he told him, "apparently that Coco girl has away."

"well, in any case, with this key, we can save our friends," Gray told him "as you know, the king plans to use the dragon slayer magic to speed up the lacrmia and ram it into extailia, no good," Gray smiled as continued, "but if we can use it and aim it at the lacrima, we can free everyone in the lacrmia at once."

"oh man, that's a great plan," Natsu said, "but what about the guards."

"I didn't' think that far ahead," they stopped when they saw someone walking up to them "hey, it's Erza," Gray muttered, "wait," once he saw her, his eyes widened in shock, "that's the one from edolas."

"it would seem I finally found you," she muttered.

"no," Natsu muttered, "our Erza lost" soon, both were knocked to the ground, and the key made of Ice shattered on the floor

later, edo Erza could be seen walking and dragging both up to the door "captain Erza," one of the guards asked, "are you okay."

"don't trouble yourself," edo Erza told them, "is his majesty inside" the guards quickly nodded and separated from her; she smiled as she walked up to the door "real soon, men, everlasting magic power will be ours"

back in the dessert edo, Lucy stood with the edolas versions of Levy and Cana "so what's this plan you got going on," Cana asked

"First, I need to wait for something," Edo Lucy said, "I need some creditable information," she said, "and this is Lisanna's plan, not mine. I'm just doing what she told me."

"oh, so the brawny beast can listen," Levy teased.

"you wanna say that again, twig," Lucy said, getting in Levy's face.

"you heard me, bimbo," she said. Before long, the two had got into a fight as Cana stood away, letting out a sigh as she looked into the horizon. 'I hope you're okay out there, Lisanna," she muttered; her thoughts flew to the other Natsu 'he does remind me of him too, doesn't he? I wonder if they've run into Wendy yet.'

Back in the palace edo, Erza had approached the king as he smiled. "Erza, I hear you were able to secure the key," he asked.

"not entirely, your majesty," edo Erza said, throwing both Natsu and Gray on the ground, "but this one can make a replica of the key," she said

"and who is he Erza," the king asked

"he is an ally of the dragon slayer," edo Erza, then cut him loose and picked up Natsu by the hair "you will fire the dragon chain cannon," she told him.

Gray nodded as he looked at the dragon chain cannon "man, this thing is bigger than I thought.

"quite stalling," edo Erza shouted as Gray used his magic and made the key again.

"wow, is that earth land magic."

"Does he have to be shirtless?" someone asked.

"back off," Gray said, "I'm not some circus freak" he then walked up to the cannon, and as it started to activate, "damn. this is my only chance," Gray said to him, "cause if I mess this up, it's over for my pals, not to mention everyone else."

"Yes," the king laughed, "this is a glories day for our kingdom," he shouted as the cannon prepared to fire

outside, Lucy, Lisanna, edo Wendy, and Coco ran through the palace "oh no, this is bad, there firing the dragon chain canon."

"it reminds me of the Gildarts shift," Lucy muttered, "is this cause of some destructive moron too."

"the king designed it," Coco told her.

On the outskirts of the city edo, Gajeel saw this and frowned, "man, I'd thought I'd have more time, but I don't, so I need to hurry."

back in the chamber, Gray started to panic "how do I aim this thing, "Gray asked himself as the king let out a laugh

"now's our chance," Edo Erza whispered in Natsu's ear "now, Natsu," she shouted, letting him go as Natsu opened his eyes and burnt out his rope.

"{Fire dragon: wing attack}" Natsu shouted as he took out most of the guards.

"What is the meaning of this" Faust asked as he was grabbed by Erza, who brought her sword to his throat. "Erza, this is treason."

"I'm calling off the launch," she shouted, her armor changed, revealing herself as Erza scarlet. "I'm Erza scarlet, and you will fire the chain cannon at the lacrmia," she shouted.

"man, that was a close one," Gray muttered.

"I can't believe they fell for that," Natsu laughed "good ol plan D."

"that's a low move taking hostages like that."

"We don't care," Gray said

"we'll do anything if it means saving our friends," Erza said

"Scarlet," a voice shouted, reacting quickly; Erza blocked the real edo Erza from dropping the king.

"quickly fire the cannon now at the original target," someone shouted

a giant dragon head appeared as it got ready to fire "oh no," Gray cried as Erza was once again distracted by Erza's nightwalker

"you die here," she shouted.

"I thought I was rid of you," Erza shouted back as the cannon launched itself into the sky started to glow red as it launched into the sky and attacked the island the lacrmia was attached to, knocking Happy and Gajeel over "what was that," Happy asked.

"the dragon chain cannon attaching," Lily told them.

"oh no, they didn't make it time," Gajeel said as the chain cannon started to latch itself into the Lacrima Happy looked in terror as a large amount of magic power-filled itself into the sky. "I don't like the look of this Gajeel," Happy screamed

back in the chamber. Natsu and the others were surrounded "oh noo," Natsu yelled, "we have to stop them," he shouted before something burst into the wall

"Hey, you guys," Lucy called, "get on its back."

"Lucy," Erza asked

"They turned you into a monster," Natsu asked.

"quite being ridiculous and get on," as the group got on, "we need to hurry," Lucy told them.

"Can we stop it with this thing," Natsu asked

"won't know until we try," Lucy said

"how," one of the guards asked, "how did they get control of a legion"

"How is this possible."

"it's cause this one is mine," Coco screamed as they flew off. Faust's eyes widened in anger as they burst out the wall both Erza stared at each other, as edo Erza's eyes spewed hatred at her counterpart.

"Scarlet," she muttered through gritted teeth. She then used her spear to cut her hair to shoulder length "don't just stand there, ready the royal army of the first, second, third, and fourth legion platoon," she shouted, "we're going to war."

"yes, ma'am."

"I'll be going to," Faust told them, "ready the dorma anim."

"but your majesty."

"that is an order," he shouted

the dragon chain cannon had begun dragging the Lacrima through the sky "what's going on" Gajeel asked

"soon, we will crash into extailia," Lily said, "the resulting crash will not only rid us of the infernal kingdom but be able to harvest infinite magic power from it."

"that's horrible," Happy said; underneath them, Natsu and the others changed the giant lacrmia to save their town friends and family; it was their only chance they had to make it in time as the legion flew as fast as it could
