Chapter 342: The Three Rivals

On the Archipelago word already spread about Luffy punching the world noble.

The other captains were freaking out knowing it was better to get the hell out of Dodge.

At Marineford would had already spread, with Sengoku sending admiral Kizaru to the archipelago.

In the auction house, the guy running talked to the real boss of the auction house, who was one of the 7 War Lords of the Sea, Doflamingo. Turned out Doflamingo didn't care for two reasons.

The first was that slave trading was no longer "in" but rather something called "smiles".

And the other,.. there was going to be a war with White Beard.

Just outside the auction house the marines were discussing what might be happening.

Inside the auction house itself it was a different story, as Rayleigh was looking at Camie's collar.

"Don't do it old man!" yelled Pappagu, "The collar will blow up!"

"I saw it myself!" yelled Chopper.

"Tell them that he probably knows what he's doing." Said Kyubi.

"What?" thought Naruto.

"Seriously… a really powerful old guy should know what's doing with that." Said Kyubi.

"Okay… that's a really good point." Thought Naruto who then said out loud, "The old guy probably knows what he's doing."

That was when they heard the collar beep.

"You were saying something?" asked /Sasuke.

"Seriously!" yelled Naruto.

"Oh no! Camie!" yelled Pappagu.

"It will be fine." Said Rayleigh.

He grabbed the collar and then tossed it away, saving the mermaid's life.

"No way…" said Kiba.

"He threw it off with his barehand!" said Nami.

"See I told you had nothing to worry about." Said Naruto.

"You got the information from your demon… it doesn't count.." said Sasuke with a sweat drop.

"Seriously!" yelled Naruto.

"Now's not the time for a fight!" yelled Nami.

Both of them glared at each other but did nothing.

"Hey! What was that! The collar and handcuffs are gone" yelled Franky holding the keys, "After all the trouble I did to get there!"

"Thank you…" said Camie rather awkwardly.

"You're good, but we don't need those anymore. But you should carry her." Said Rayleigh.

"Who are you?" asked Franky.

"What did he do?" asked Usopp.

"He pulled off the collar and cuffs like they were nothing." Said Sakura.

"It's strange…" said Hinata.

Franky tossed the keys to the other would be slaves who were happy to be free.

"He's Haki user." Chomei explained to Fu knowing that their other source wouldn't give them a straight answer.

"Do you know what Haki is?" asked Fu, "Because Chomei said that he's one."

"I've heard of it somewhat…" said Hatchan, "But not much of it."

Rayleigh looked at the other two pirate captains in the auction.

"Sorry boys, you were just pirates here for the show." Said Rayleigh, "But you are strong if you were able to withstand that."

"Yeah, but I didn't think that there would be such a big name." said Law.

"The Dark King Silvers Rayleigh." Said Kid, "What's a living legend doing here?"

"I'm just an ordinary craftsman who lives on this island called Ray. Don't' call me that other name, I'm just an old solider who wants a peaceful life." Said Rayleigh.

Rayleigh walked over to Hatchan.

"You're not going to die are you Hatchan?" asked Rayleigh, "I told you not to walk around this island."

"I didn't expose myself as a fishman." Said Hatchan.

"He took a bullet meant for me…" said Nami.

"He did?" asked Sakura.

"Ah, I see." Said Rayleigh, "I guess it makes sense that you would save him… since he did the same for you."

"It's a bit more complicated than that." Sighed Sakura who wasn't sure how to handle that bit of news.

"I see…" said Rayleigh.

"Why did you want to mean me?" asked Luffy.

"We'll talk later." Said Rayleigh, "We should get out of here."

"Dang it! Now the mysterious won't be solved for a few more chapters!" said Kyubi.

Naruto sighed at his demon's antics.

That was when one of Kid's crew members stated "We're surrounded boss."

"Release the Rosewald family right now! The admiral will soon arrive, so we recommend that you surrender immediately! We won't be held responsible for what happens after that!" called out a Marine.

"We're not even seen as victims, just accomplices" said Law with a smirk

"I got to see how just crazy Straw Hat Luffy and his bother are." Said Kid.

"I have a name!" yelled Naruto.

"But I don't want to face an admiral." Said Kid.

"I can't use that power again, and if the marines find out who I am, then I won't be able to stay here." Said Rayleigh.

"The longer we wait, the longer the marines will gather. So I'm going first." Said Kid, "I'll be on way! I'll clean up the mess!"

This made Luffy, Naruto and Law irritable.

"I don't know if he'll ever get sucked into the crew like the Law guy…" said Kyubi.

"What?" thought Naruto.

"Trust me you'll understand in a couple years." Said Kyubi, "Go join the pissing contest!"

Luffy, Naruto and Law all joined Kid outside.

"We're dealing with three captains and one other member." Said one of the marines.

"Even so he has a high bounty for not being a captain at 270 million. Along with the other three we got 200 million, 315 million and 300 million." Said another marines.

"You know we should be dealing with a kid." Said Kid.

"Funny considering you name." said Naruto glaring at him.

"You two stand back me and my brother will handle it." Said Luffy.

"I told you I can handle it." Muttered Kid.

"I'll operate you if you try to boss me around again." Muttered Law.

In the auction house, the Straw Hats looked at what was going on.

"Seriously?" muttered Ino.

"They're so childish." Muttered Nami.

"Should we really be surprised?" asked Isaribi.

"There's going to be a brawl outside." Said Usopp to Hatchan and Rayleigh, "You have to get out of here."

"Let's follow them and bust through the lines." Said Zoro.

"Fine by me." Said Sanji.

"Let's go." Said Sasuke.

"If we get seprated we'll meet up at grove 13." Said Rayleigh.

"Sounds fine to me." Said Zoro.

"Seriously Now's not that time for that!" yelled Usopp.

"Hey! Old man! Star Hats! If we ever meet up again I'll owe you one." Said the giant that Rayleigh saved.

The other would be slaves all thanked them as well.

Outside, the marines began their attack.

"Mortars!" yelled one of the marines.

They were fired upon.

"Gum Gum Balloon!" yelled out Luffy using said attack to bounce back the mortar shell.

Naruto entered half demon form, used his tails to catch one of the mortars and toss it back at them.

"Why did you do that?" asked Kyubi.

"I thought I'd show off my devil fruit power." Said Naruto.

"I see…" said Kyubi unsure how to respond.

"Repel." Said Kid sending it back with some sort of ability.

But it was Law's mortar that took the cake.

A strange blue dome appeared around him and a marine.

"What's with this dome." Said the marine.

Suddenly he swipe his sword and the marine's head was cut off, but without blood.

"Shambles!" said Law.

Suddenly the mortar shell headed for him and the marine's head were swapped. Causing the mortar to blow up the marine's busy while the head was screamed in shock.

"Be careful! Our cannon wont' work against them! They all have Devil Fruit powers!" yelled one of the marines.

The four all grinned, and the marines realized it wasn't going to be an easy fight.
