Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told—Nothing much to say in this chapter. Nothing's going on, and I do not need to update you; nothing will change until I'm done with this arc. so yeah, on with the story
Last time on a fairy tail re-told
Lucy: We are back. We're against the wall, but thanks to the help of the wizards of edolas, we turned the tide.
Gray: now all we gotta do is get out of this alive
Happy: Aye sir
Carla: I know we can do it
The ruthless King Faust declared war on the exceed and all who opposed him. Lucy and her fellow earth land wizards teamed up with wizards of edolas to protect the surviving exceed. Meanwhile, Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy challenged Faust to battle in his Dorma anim. Now the fate of both their worlds rests in their hands
meanwhile, Mystogen, who is the edolas version of Jellal, has put a plan into motion
Mystogen leads the group into a room where the anima is made. "This is the anima control room," Mystogen told him as they entered a large room with several giant statues. "I've spent a great deal of time observing earth land," he told Lily, "it has its fine share of problems, but it will be a fine receptacle."
"you can't be serious, Jellal," Lily asked,
"is it," he told him, "how long has this war been going on, Lily," he said. "I will create a world without magic, and if I have been seen as the villain, then so be it," Mystogen told him with a fire in his eyes that Lily had never seen before "that is the only reason for this conflict to end peacefully." he explained "the only way to end to bloodshed" he sighed
"the only way for edolas to rise"
The three dragon slayers
Faust smiled as he overlooked the dragon slayers "earth land wizards are a fortunate lot indeed," he told him, "your born with an eternal spring of magic and have skills that allow you to grow even stronger" he then looked down, "then there are the dragon slayers, your magic power surpasses that of even normal standards" he then let out a loud laugh "with it I will replenish this world's supply" he laughed "not even the mighty dragon slayers could stop me as long as I possess the dorma anim I am a god I will conquer both worlds all will bow before me."
Faust let out another attack, which sent the dragon slayer flying. "I need more," Faust said, "I call to thee of heaven and earth and ask that you relinquish your strength unto me," he shouted as the dorma anim started to absorb the last of edolas' magic power around trees and plants began to die as the dorm anim begun to gain strength "I will harvest your power and begin a new era of magic" he laughed.
"Salamander, you gotta roar," Gajeel told him, "you too, kid."
"All of us simultaneously," Wendy asked,
Gajeel nodded "no sense holding back," he said as the trio stood and began filling up for another attack.
"{Fire dragon}"
"{Iron dragon}"
"{Sky dragon}"
"impossible," Faust said. How is their magic power increasing?
"roar," the trio let out their unison roar leaving an enormous trail of destruction in its wake, only for the dorma anim to have jumped out of the way "what," Gajeel asked. "I didn't think it could jump that high."
"We didn't even touch him," Wendy shouted.
"then we have to try it again," Natsu told them.
"you fools," Faust shouted, "dragon rider missiles," he called as he fired off more missiles which laid waste to the area they were fighting in. "you wizards don't understand the plight we're in," he said. "You have an everlasting supply of the one thing we desire most; we have no use for wizards or even guilds," he shouted at them. "all we need is magic power to survive" he then let out another laugh, "and with the three of you we will have everlasting magic" he shouted. "we'll finally experience the bliss you earth landers have kept for yourselves," he said as the dragon slayers fell to the ground "I see you've finally reached your limit," he said, "you may be powerful, but it isn't everlasting is it takes time for your bodies to recover the strength you've wasted now is your chance to surrender, agree to supply my world with everlasting magic, and I will compensate you accordingly."
"This is, " Gajeel muttered.
"I can't even stand up," Wendy said
"don't you dare give up," Natsu shouted as he looked up, "so what are you waiting for," he told the king, "cause I'm standing right here."
[## Inishie No Mahou Ost##]
"Fine then," Faust shouted as he tried to step on Natsu, who managed to catch the foot and hold it up.
"what are you doing" Gajeel shouted, "you're out of power."
"Yeah, I am," Natsu said, "so I'll just have to borrow some power from tomorrow," Natsu shouted as he threw Faust back, causing the dorma anim to fall over "never underestimate the will of a dragon slayer," Natsu shouted.
"tomorrow power, huh" Gajeel muttered.
"I see you need another lesson" he then blew up the ground where Natsu was sending him flying into the air. "I am the king of edolas; get on your knees and bow before me" as Natsu flew up, something popped up on his radar as Gajeel landed, shooting his arm through the foot of the giant "what? are you doing?"
[## Sanin no dragon slayer ##]
"I locked your foot," Gajeel told him "pull that jumping crap again, and you just might lose it," he said as he looked at Natsu "come on," Gajeel shouted, "now's your chance, Salamander, hit em with everything you got"
hearing Natsu looked at Wendy, "Wendy, I need you to roar at me with everything you got," he shouted as the girl looked at him "do it," he shouted at her as she nodded her head a rose to her feet
"you insect, let me go."
"not happening, old man."
"Okay," Wendy said, "I'll do it" she gathered her remaining Strength "{Sky dragon: roar}" her attack struck Natsu as he pushed him forward towards the dorma anim as Faust continued to try and shake Gajeel lose.
"This ends here," Natsu shouted "{Fire dragons: sword horn}" Natsu flew at high speeds toward the dorma anim shattering its shields and going straight through it in the process. As he flew out with Faust, he threw him on the ground as both landed with a thud, the dorma anim blowing up behind them.
Faust back up as the three rose from the smoke, no longer appearing as humans in his eyes; no, he saw three dragons standing before him "what power," he muttered, "how could I have hoped to control it" his fear got the best of it before he fell.
"We did it," Natsu shouted as he sat up, "this the part where I yell checkmate, right."
"Actually, I think you're supposed to yell that before taking the king," Wendy told him.
"really," Gajeel asked, "could swear it was after," soon, the ground started to rumble as they all looked up, "what's going on."
"Look there," Wendy told them.
"They all looked up to see the Islands started to fall from the sky "the floating Islands are falling; what the hell," Natsu asked.
"look," Lucy said as she fell to the ground, "the Islands are falling."
"Is this the end of the world?" Grays asked as the Islands crashed around them.
"no," Lisanna told them, "it's worse; the day we've long feared has to come to pass," she said "those Islands are held up by magic, and if they're falling from the sky, then that means the last remnants of our magic power are going away" around them, large beams of light shot up the ground as the magic power of edolas left the world going from the sky "but what could be causing it to leave so quickly."
in the royal city, Byro Sugar boy and Hughes have recovered and were staring as the magic power of edolas left into the sky
meanwhile, Lily continued his plea to Mystogen, "my prince, please, there has to be another way."
"I tried to warn them, Lily," he told them, "but they still gave in to temptation," he said, "so I will remove that temptation, the last of our magic power will flow into earth land, it will be hard, but we will survive."
As their magic left, the guards started to panic alongside the edolas wizards "guys, we need to remain calm," Lucy told them. She looked over to see the guards starting to panic and run away as well "oh well, there goes that one," she said, "but let's stay calm; we'll figure this out."
"Are you sure," edo Lucy asked, "cause it seems pretty pointless to me."
all over edolas, people cried and broke out into panic as magic began to leave their world
"you think we shouldn't take this so lightly," Sugar boy said, "but you can't help but admire that view."
"Edolas had a good run," Hughes said, smiling, "at least we went out swinging."
edo Gajeel smiled as he wrote everything in his notebook people ran by, as one stopped, "what are you doing."
"Writing this down," he told them, "we're witnessing history in the making we must have recorded for future generations."
"We need to get back to the royal city," Wendy said
"any particular reason," Natsu asked.
"The people there could be panicking," she said, "they could be getting hurt."
"Alright," Natsu said
"If we can find this world's me, we can probably get some information on what's going on," Gajeel said as the group ran off. They noticed edo Wendy and Erza emerging as they came to a forest, looking around at all the magic power.
"Natsu," Wendy muttered, "and mini-me."
"don't call me that," Wendy shouted.
"are you to okay," Natsu asked
"yeah," Erza told her, "we took down nightwalker."
"Alright," Natsu told her, "we're heading to the capital; we'll see if we can offer any help."
"Okay," Erza said, "we'll head there then. Hopefully, our allies meet us there."
back in the chamber, Lily stared in shock that Mystogen continued with his plan "prince, I admit, magic has led to a lot of bloodshed, but this," he asked, "aren't you sure this is too far."
"a difficult road lies ahead for us," Mystogen told him "some people may die, which is why a leader will have to rise," he told Lily.
"and you're saying that it's you," Lily asked.
"no," Mystogen told him, "instead of growing with the people of edolas, I choose to be in earth land," he said, "someone has to take the blame for all this, Lily."
"you mean a sacrificial lamb," Lily told him.
"yes," Mystogen told him, "I led a rebellion against the king and stole all of edolas' magic power," he told Lily, "and it should be obvious who the hero is going to be" a look of shock grew on Lily's face as Mystogen continued "you are respected on both sides and captain of our royal army."
"so, you think the only to end this is for you to die," Lily shouted, "answer me, prince," his voice echoed through the chamber as Nadi watched from behind.
