Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome to the three-part finally of the rise of edolas. I know it ends and episode 95 or chapter 199, but I always considered the last episode a part of this arc as it doesn't directly affect the Tenrou Island arc. Anyway, let's get started with part one.

Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Lucy: edolas is losing its magic power

Gray: there must be something we can do, right

Natsu: we'll have to put our heads together

edo Wendy: maybe it's for the best

the edolas wizards stared in horror as the Islands fell from the sky as Lisanna stepped forward " we need to get to the royal city," she told them "we need to see this for ourselves," she told them as the wizards looked at her with concerned looks on their faces "if this is our future then we're going to stare it in the face" as she motioned for the others to follow as they left Gray and Lucy who also followed to help however they could

meanwhile, in the anima control room, "I lead a rebellion against the king, and stole all of edolas' magic power," he told Lily, "and it should be obvious who the hero is going to be" a look of shock grew on Lily's face as Mystogen continued "you are respected on both sides and captain of our royal army" Mystogen told him "be that leader Lily lead them into an era of peace

"so, you think the only way to end this is for you to die," Lily shouted, "answer me, prince," his voice echoed through the chamber as Nadi watched from behind, a look of fear.

Goodbye today and tomorrow

"Yes," Mystogen told him, "you're the only one who can do it."

"But prince," Lily asked, " how could you ask this is of me," said "do you expect me to do such a thing."

"yes, I do," Mystogen told him "simply put, I believe you are the strongest and most cable of doing it, Lily" he smiled at him " only you can lead the people into this life without magic," he explained as confident as he was there was no falter in his voice nothing that should lily that he was unsure of this Lily could only look away.

"but still," the exceed told him, "there has to be another way," he told him "you, as the crowned prince, are one most suited to lead," Lily argued, " you are even willing to through your life away for it we need someone like you at the helm."

"I am the destroyer of this world," Mystogen told him.

"you can't just destroy this and escape it in death," Lily told him, "you have to be willing to pick up the pieces of what's leftover."

outside, Natsu, Wendy, Gajeel, edo Wendy, and Erza had since neared the royal city "it looks like chaos down there," Natsu said

"yeah," edo Wendy muttered, "people must be scared."

"well, we need to hurry," Gajeel said, "let's find the edolas me and get some answers."

"I can help with that," a voice called the group turned to see Nadi standing behind them, "and I'm so glad I found you," he told them off Mystogen's plan and everything else he overheard

"so, wait," Natsu said, "Mystogen caused this."

"But why," Wendy said, "I thought the anima could only take magic from our world."

"not," Nadi told her, "though I understand why he's doing this"

"For years, all we used magic for was war and the suffering of others," he told them, king; Faust's words rang through the dragon slayer's head "it's become a crutch of our world and are the cause of endless fighting," he said as he looked at edo Wendy "why your friend here, not a day over twenty yet her whole life been one giant fight," he told a slight frown on his face "it's been the cause of countless death deaths that were unnecessary."

"Yeah, but still, some good came out of it, right," Natsu asked. Nadi just shook his head, " so, what is the plan here."

"well, for instance, your friend and our prince need a villain," he said, "and well, I had another idea" he then turned to Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy "the three of you are legends almost as revered as us exceeds," he said with pleading eyes "the public will surely believe that you have passed judgment on this world for the sins of our kingdoms."

"wait, you can't ask them to do that," edo Wendy said, standing up "it'll make them a villain in the eyes of the public; it's not fair to them."

"I know, but your friend plans on executing himself to make sure people can have hope," Nadi told her.

Natsu said nothing, only looked into the horizon, the screams of panicking people covering the air, before letting out a sigh 'alright Mystogen, this time I'm going to pull a fast one on you for old time sakes' he smiled as he looked back at the group "alright here's what we're going to do."

"I'll do it," Lily said, "shocking Mystogen. "I'll play the role of villain," he told him "ever since I was exiled from my homeland, the kingdom took me in," he said, "but now I have forsaken that too. I have no place to call home; no one will morn me if I go."

"no," Mystogen told him. "I cost you your homeland; I can't do that to you," he said, tears forming in his eyes.

"I feel the same as you," Lily told him "please don't throw your life away," he told him, "more death will only lead to more pain; please don't throw your life away."

"I see," Mystogen told him, "then what are we to do."

they were interrupted when a guard ran into the room "panther Lily, sir," he said in a panicked voice, "the situation is worse than we thought," he told him

"I'm aware of that," Lily told him, "as you can see, we're dealing with the anima."

"umm, sir," the guard said, "there's something you need to see," he said as he led the pair outside. Guards started to whisper to each other, asking who he was when they came out; they heard maniacal laughter; they ran to the ledge to see Natsu standing atop a building.

"come here, citizens of edolas," Natsu screamed, "it is I, the demon lord dragneel, the dragon slayer god."

"oh my," people started going off as Gajeel and Wendy appeared next to him, "it's a dragon slayer."

"they are real."

"Your kingdom has committed a great sin," Natsu said, "so the great dragon gods sent me here to deal with your punishment" to make his point, Natsu let out a breath of fire, scaring people.

"What is he doing" Mystogen asked

"that would be me," a voice called; they turned to see Nadi standing behind him as Mystogen looked back; his eyes widened in shock as he saw his father tied to a pole.

"your mighty king," he said as he motioned towards him, "committed the biggest sin of all" Gajeel stood next to him, his arm turned into a sword as he held it at the king's throat.

Seeing this edo, Gajeel realized what they were doing "the dragon slayer has returned; they must be the cause of the sudden loss of magic power," he told everyone, "they're the reason we're losing magic power. As we speak."

"why, what could have happened so bad that we invoked such wrath" people started to ask; as Natsu smiled, he was beginning to like the edolas version of Gajeel

"Your king attacked the exceeds," Natsu revealed, "and he opened a portal into another world to steal magic power; as a result, we the dragon slayers have descended into your world to invoke punishment" most of the edolas wizards had come to see this as edo Wendy came and pulled Lisanna away.

"Natsu!" a voice screamed. Natsu looked, seeing that it was Mystogen. He smiled

"so, the lands prince has something to say," he asked.

"the prince," people started to ask. Even edo Gajeel was surprised at this.

"well, we have our villain," Lily said, "though I think you won't have to kill him."

"Stay there; please don't hurt anyone," Mystogen asked as he jumped down and ran to where Natsu was. People are looking in awe, surprised to see their long-lost prince after so long "What is the meaning of this," he asked. He was now in front of Natsu, who came down to meet him at eye level.

" your kingdom's actions have sullied the very reason magic was gifted to you in the first place," Natsu told him " by using it to shed war mistreat exceed, you failed the test that would have granted you eternal magic."

"I beg of you," Mystogen said, "don't do this, don't punish the people of this world," Mystogen asked, "they have done no wrong."

"I would be willing," Natsu told him, "but first, you must beat me in combat."

"I accept," Mystogen said as Natsu let out a roar of fire before running in and punching Jellal, who responded by hitting him back Mystogen tried to hit Natsu, but Natsu grabbed his fist before he could connect. Mystogen retaliates with a kick as he can hear the crowd cheering him on.

"Why are you doing this" Mystogen asked as the two were locked in combat."

"because," Natsu said, "this is your destiny, man," Natsu told him "you're my brother, and I'm going to help you out," he said as Mystogen landed another punch "you just gotta promise me one thing," he asked him as the two locked heads "live your life to fullest, even though we have to go serpent ways, know that you always be a child of magnolia."

Smiling at this, Mystogen nodded his head as the two continued, "never forget your brother and sister," they shouted as they landed the final punch. Natsu then landed on the ground, and the crowd cheered.

"Wow," someone said, "the prince just took down a dragon slayer smiling at this edo Gajeel started to walk away, waving his hand at Gajeel, who nodded his head, the message between the two. Natsu then shot up, shocking the crowd by laughing out loud. "I'll admit it's been a year since someone punched me that hard" he laughed ed "as such, I will spare you and your people; however, we will take your magic away until you learn its true value and what it means. To live without."

hearing this, Mystogen remembered these words there were in one of the many tests Mavis had given the two of them when they first met her

"Please, what can we do."

"you must learn what value magic has in all living creatures, not just humans or exceed," Natsu told him "appreciate life and what it means" Natsu smiled as he said the last one, "and lastly, learn to live life with an open heart no matter what you face or trials you go through it with a great big smile."

"I," Mystogen smiled as his friend left him there, "we will, and we will pray that one day magic will return to us," he said as he smiled.

Natsu returned to the building "release him," he told Gajeel as he then cut the rope two then started to glow as they smiled and leaped from the building.

"We need to get ready," Nadi told him, "soon the anima will force every bit of magic away; soon, we will be too as we have magic coursing through our veins."

Lucy, Gray, Happy, and Carla started to glow. "Lucy," edo Lucy screamed as she ran towards her counterpart. What's going on," she said as she grabbed her.

"it's the anima. It must be pulling us in," Carla told her.

"well, hold on," edo Lucy said "well, stop this"

"it's okay," Lucy told her, smiling, "we have to get home somehow," she told her, smiling, "we need to see if our friends are okay."

"I know that, but" edo Lucy looked to the side, "I thought we'd have more time."

hearing this, Lucy smiled, "remember where the same," she told her, "we even have the same back dimples."

letting out a small laugh as edo Lucy loosened her grip. "I guess," she told her. "it was nice to meet you, Lucy Hearfilia."

"The pleasure was all mine, Lucy Ashley" Lucy smiled

'I never meant for this to happen," Mystogen said to himself, 'I thought.'

"prince," a voice called as Mystogen turned to Lily, also floating away, "remember adaptation can take time, lead your people with a calm and warm heart, take things slow, and in time, you will become a good leader that all look up to"

meanwhile, Natsu had since gone into a back ally where edo Wendy and Lisanna were waiting for him "yo," Natsu said as he smiled at the two

"Natsu," edo Wendy said as she ran up to him, "you're glowing. What's going on."

"I don't have much time left here, kid," Natsu told her, "so I thought I'd tell you goodbye," Natsu smiled at her.

"no, this isn't fair," edo Wendy said. "I need more time. I" she stopped when Natsu brought her in for a hug and looked at her tears began falling down her face; as Lisanna backed up, she'd let Wendy get all of her chests. she knew that deep down, the girl needed this more than her. "I'm eating; I've learned to read better now," edo Wendy started. "I've learned so much; I've made so many friends," now full-on bawling as she gripped Natsu's shirt, "there's so much I need to tell you can't leave just yet."

"Wendy," Natsu said

"I don't care if you're from another world," edo Wendy shouted, "you're still Natsu, you're still my brother" she stopped when Natsu placed his forehead against hers."I still need you."

"and I'm proud of you," he told her. "I barely even know you, but" he smiled at you. "I'm just so proud of you" by now, Erza, Wendy, and Gajeel had all floated off the bumped into Lucy and Gray, who were also watching the exchange "your strong, Wendy," he told her, " you are going to do great things, and I promise that no matter what a part fo me will always be with you," Natsu told her " and no matter what path you choose, I promise I will always love you," he told her as tears started continuously fall from her face "besides I have to watch the other you grow up don't I."

"I guess," edo Wendy. She then turned to Lisanna. "I'm sorry, Lisanna, I wasted your time."

"no," she said as she walked up to Natsu, their eyes meeting "what else do we have to say to each other," she smiled.

"I guess you're right," Natsu told her, "3 years mean nothing to two people like us."

"take care of them, Natsu," edo Lisanna told him, "they need you," she said as tears formed on her face "don't worry about Wendy and me," she told him. "I'll take good care of it," she froze. "I'll take good care of her."

"I know you will, Lisanna" Natsu opened his mouth to say something else, only for Lisanna to stop him with a finger.

"I know," she told him, " I know" she leaned in before kissing him. It was short. Still, to them, it lasted forever. They separated. Lisanna smiled "just live okay," she said as Natsu started to be lifted from the ground, Lisanna held him before finally letting go. "I'll miss you," she told him. "I miss you already.

"yeah," Natsu told her. "I'll never forget you, Lisanna," he smiled, "and thank you."

[## Inishie No Mahou Ost##]

As Natsu caught up with the others, Gray had a teasing grin, but before he could say anything, Erza hit him on the head as Wendy floated towards Natsu; she then waved, "Goodbye, everyone."

"we'll see you later," Happy called.

"don't be ridiculous," Carla told him, "we'll never see them again."

"See ya later, mini-me," edo Wendy called.

"don't call me that," Wendy screamed as they all laughed

"see later, Lucy Ashley," Lucy called

Natsu smiled as he and Lisanna hadn't left each other gaze as Lisann comforted Wendy; she looked at Wendy as a memory was shared between the two

Flashback

a young Natsu and Lisanna walk through the forest to hear a girl crying, quickly running to see a little girl. She looked up and ran to Natsu's help me," she screamed, "these people took my mom from me."

"Hey, it's okay," Natsu told her.

"It is," the little girl asked.

"Yeah, we're sure," Lisanna told her as she took out some food and handed it to her. A small formed on her face as she started to eat it at incredible speeds "man, you have an appetite," she told her.

"more, please," the little girl answered.

"later," Lisanna said laughing, "do have a name," she asked, "mines Lisanna."

"I'm Natsu."

"name," the little girl asked "oh yeah, I have a name" she smiled "my name is Wendy," she said, smiling as the now trio walked off.

"Wow, that's a lovely name," Lisanna told her as the pair walked through the forest and set up camp Wendy eventually found herself asleep on Natsu's lap as he looked down and smiled "goodnight Wendy," he told her.

"oh, look at you," Lisanna teased "taking the role of big brother, I see," she said

"Stop it," Natsu told her.

"but your just the cutest when you're embarrassed," Lisanna told him, "so what are we going to do," Lisanna asked, now taking a more serious tone "we can't just leave her out here," she said, "she'll be hurt or worse."

"then we'll just have to take her with us," Natsu told her. He looked over and saw Lisanna smiling at him "what," he asked.

"Nothing," she told him, "just this reminded me of home, ya know," she said, smiling "with here, we'll be like a mini family," she said, a slight blush forming on her face looking away from Natsu. "I'm glad we can have that again, is all."

"so I guess that makes you my wife then," Natsu teased.

"you mean it," Lisanna asked.

"umm," Natsu froze, "hey, you were supposed to get embarrassed," Natsu shouted as Wendy sturred in her sleep; the two smiled as the memory faded.

End flashback

Natsu smiled as more memories filled his mind; he patted his pants pocket, feeling the envelopes still tucked safely away and now knowing he can genuinely mean what he told do Wendy as he looked at Happy, the bridge that genuinely the edolas Natsu and Lisanna together a sense of closure washed over him as he smiled at them one last time "Goodbye," he told her as she smiled wiping away the final tear as the went through the anima Lisanna smiled as they pair locked eyes.

"Goodbye, Natsu"

Alright, it looked like we Were down and finished with this chapter; gotta say, writing that goodbye was harder than I thought it was but, at the same time, easy anyway. Let me know what you think.
