Chapter 350: Escape from Marine Island

Naruto and Hinata flew through the air in a strange bubble. Either wanted to say anything during the trip, what is there to say. They just hung on to each other tightly and hoping that their trip would end soon.

After three days they finally landed in a paw shaped crater.

"Where are we?" asked Hinata.

"I have no idea." Said Naruto.

That was when the two looked at each other and remember the vivre cards they had.

Meaning they had a way to get back.

"All right!" said Naruto, "Let go find a ship and get back to everyone!"

Hinata nodded.

"Kit…" said Kyubi.

"Yeah…" thought Naruto.

"Don't be the one to pay attention to the Vivre Card… you're not the worst the ship… but you're pretty bad." Said Kyubi.

"Seriously!" yelled Naruto.

Hinata giggled at his reaction.

"Come on let's go." Said Naruto.

Hinata nodded.

As they wandered the island they were on Hinata brought something important.

"What if we're not on the grand line anymore?" she asked.

Naruto froze.

"I didn't even think of that." Said Naruto.

"What should we do then?" asked Hinata.

"Let's just wait and see where we are." Said Naruto, "We could just be some island we don't know on the grand Line."

Hinata nodded.

"And if we're not…" said Hinata.

We're figure it out." Said Naruto.

"It's going to be really awkward when we get to the twin capes for sure." Said Kyubi.

Naruto sweat dropped when he said that.

The two continued to try to find civilization.

"Um…" said Hinata.

"Yeah?" asked Naruto.

"Are we going to steal a ship or?" asked Hinata.

"We're pirates…" sighed Naruto "And I don't have much money."

"I guess that's a good point." Said Hinata.

"I was going point that out if either you hadn't figured it out before then." Said Kyubi.

Naruto sighed.

That was when they found a town.

"Finally!" yelled Naruto.

That was when Naruto's stomach growled.

"Let's get lunch before we steal a ship." Giggled Hinata.

Naruto laughed nervously.

They headed into town and found a restraint.

Thankfully it had a lot of options to eat.

"Ye they have ramen!" cheered Naruto.

Hinata giggled at his reaction.

A waitress came by and took their order.

However they didn't notice several people staring at them.

"What… no way!" said one of them.

"Isn't that?" asked another of them.

"But I thought they were near the end of the Grand Line." Said a third.

"But I heard that they just mysteriously disappeared thanks to a Devil Fruit power." Said a fourth.

"Wait… so they were just appeared here?" asked a fifth.

"Devil fruit power…" said the fourth.

"Even if we're off the clock we have to report them." Said the first.

The first approached the counter.

"I need to use your snail phone." Said the first.

The waitress was confused until the first whispered something to her and her eyes widened and she nodded.

The first called someone on the Snail Phone.

"Please tell me a bunch of my unit who are off duty aren't drunk again…" said the voice on the other end.

"No sir! I'm actually reporting something." Said the person. "I believe we found Fox D. Naruto and Hyuga Hinata."

"What?" asked the voice on the other end.

Sometime later Naruto and Hinata were fishing up their lunch.

Hinata giggled, then she sighed.

"What's wrong?" asked Naruto.

"It's nice being here just the two of us…" said Hinata.

"Yeah…" said Naruto.

"I know I should hate it after what happened…" said Hinata gripping her shirt.

But before she could finish what she was going to say there was a voice calling out.

"Hyuga Hinata and Fox D Naruto!" yelled the voice, "Come out now!"

"What?" asked Naruto.

However that was when they noticed that suddenly several of the patron were pointing gun at them.

"What!" yelled Naruto.

"Sorry! But I don't know why you came here!" said one of them.

"I told you devil fruit power." Said one of them.

"But you're under arrest by order of the World Government." Said one of them.

"Of duty Marines." Said Hinata.

"You got that right." Said one of them.

Hinata and Naruto looked at each other and nodded.

"What do you know about my abilities?" asked Naruto with a grin.

"what do you mean?" asked one of the marines.

"Do you know what my fighting style is?" asked Naruto.

The marines looked confused.

But that was when Naruto sent out shadow clones at the off duty marines.

A few of them tried to attack Hinata but she slammed her palm in them, causing them to collapse thanks to her attacks.

"Where the back exit!" demanded Naruto.

"There isn't one!" said the waitress.

There was an awkward silence.

Even the marines stared at her.

"What?" asked the waitress.

"You are aware that's illegal due to fire code right?" asked the marine.

"I was lying okay!" said the waitress, "Their pirates!"

Thankfully Naruto and Hinata took this as distraction and fled the restaurant, knowing that there was a back exist (for fires) and escaped, granted it was through the kitchen but still.

They ran through the alleyways for a while taking a breath.

"Okay that was bad…" said Naruto.

"I know…" sighed Hinata.

Both of the looked around.

Trying to see if any marines found them.

As they looked Hinata saw something.

"Naruto…" said Hinata.

"What is it?" asked Naruto.

"I think I saw a certain kind of building." Said Hinata.

"A certain kind of building?" asked Naruto.

Hinata nodded, Naruto decided to send a shadow clone to jump up and see if she was right.

"DAMN IT!" yelled the shadow clone.

"I found him! Fox D. Naruto!" he heard a voice yelled out.

That was when he was hot at but it didn't hit.

He knew he had to poof, so he smirked.

"I can't take it anymore!" shouted the cloned.

He jumped off the roof towards the marines.

"What no!" yelled one of the marines horrified.

Sure he wanted to catch Naruto… but driving the pirate to suicide was something else.

But thankfully it was a clone so it just went poof but it didn't mean that marine wasn't traumatized.

"You've never dealt with a clone user have you?" asked the other marine.

The one who felt bad just shook his head no.

Back with Naruto and Hinata, Naruto got the memories.

"You're right…" said Naruto, "IT's that…"

Hinata paled.

He kicked a nearby trash can." Said Naruto, "Of course he'd sent us to an island with a big marine base!"

And indeed on that island was a very large marine base…

Which made thing a whole lot harder to escape from the island…

And little did they know that things were far more complicated than they though… not good or bad… just complicated…

But they weren't going to learn about that last part for a while… but mattered more was getting off that island… which knew wasn't going to be easy…

Next Time: As Naruto and Hinata try to figure out how to get off the island, they discover something about all the marines their facing... they all seem to be weak... almost like all of the marines on the base are weak... is there a reason for that? Hopefully find out next time!
