Chapter 352: Dressing Like the Enemy is a Stupid Idea…

Hinata looked at herself in the window. Her distinctive eyes were still there but the clothes did make a bit of a difference.

"How does your transformation work?" asked Hinata.

"I have no idea." Said the disguised Naruto.

"I'm not explaining it to you kit…" said Kyubi.

Naruto sighed and sweat dropped.

"Come on." Said Hinata.

Naruto nodded.

They both headed to the base.

"All right… you two need to act like Marines… not that I have to tell Hinata she practically lived at one for years, but you have to act like." Said Kyubi.

"I guess I can act like it." Said Naruto.

"Try not to draw attention to yourself." Said Hinata.

"Don't worry! I look so generic that I won't draw attention to myself." Said Naruto.

"You look so genetic that you probably will draw attention to yourself." Said Kyubi.

Naruto only sweat dropped.

They got to the base and thank fully no one seemed to bat an eye.

However there was a group pf marines who appeared to talk and seemed to wants to talk to them.

Naruto and Hinata both sighed and approached the group.

"How do you do fellow marines!" said the disguised Naruto.

Naruto could feel the sealed demon living within him face palm, and even his crewmate was keeping a straight face but even she was groaning at that.

"Are you okay?" asked one of the marines.

"Totally! I', not drunk at all." Said the disguised Naruto.

Hinata stared at him trying to keep a straight face.

"I mean I am drunk! That is to say…" said Naruto, "Wait… I meant to say… that I am totally not drunk…"

The marines just stared at Naruto.

"Kit! Just stop talking…." Said Kyubi.

"I want to but I'm pancaking!" thought Naruto.

"Right…" said one of the marines.

"Look…" said Naruto.

"Hey it's fine… you're one of those members." Said one of the marine.

"I've been drunk a few times on the job…" said the marine, "twice this week."

Naruto laughed nervously.

"Wait.. what…" said the disguised.

"Yeah with what's going down at headquarters things have been laxed." Said one of the marines.

"Except for the signs for Shadow Fox and Gentle Princess, things are usual quiet here… honestly…" said another of them.

"Hey! We won 't tell the captain he's drunk." Said the first.

"Thanks!" said the disguised Naruto.

"I'm going to make sure that he's not around people." Said Hinata.

Hinata began to push him away so that Naruto doesn't spout any more verbal diarrhea.

Once the two were out of ear shot.

"That was Gentle Princess right?" asked one of the marines.

"Totally…" said one of the other marines.

"I can't believe she's taking advantage of that drunk guy…" said the first one.

The others nodded in agreement.

"So… you know we have to report this…" said the first marine.

The other groaned.

"I don't get paid enough for this." Said the one who admitted being drunk a few times on the job.

"Oh just get drunk later." Said the first one.

"Jokes on you! I'm already drunk today?" asked the one who admitted to being drunk.

"Did you just phrase that as a question." Said the first one.

"I don't' care, I'm drunk on the job!" said the marine who was indeed drunk.

With Naruto and Hinata they were trying to get Naruto to calm down.

"We need some sea stone." Said Kyubi.

"Why?" asked Naruto.

"Look we can't have you blowing our cover." Said Kyubi.

Naruto sighed…

"He wants Sea Stone… doesn't he?" asked Hinata.

"Yeah…" said Naruto.

"That was embarrassing." Said Hinata.

"I know…" sighed Naruto, "But even so… we do know something."

"Oh right… something's going on at Marine Headquarters…" said Hinata.

"Yeah." Said Naruto.

That was when they were suddenly surrounded by marines, including the ones they talked to.

"Hyuga Hinata! You're under arrest" called out one of them.

"Let the poor drunk guy go and we might go easy!" yelled another of the marines.

"Wait… what?" asked the disguised Naruto.

"I guess Hinata's disguise wasn't as good as we thought…" said Kyubi.

"Yeah…" said Naruto.

"And I can't believe you weren't the one that outed you." Said Kyubi.

"Hey… I agree with you for once." Thought Naruto with a sweat drop.

"How did you know it was me?" asked Hinata putting her ha ds up."

"Because I'd know if there was a hottie like you running around!" said the drunk marine.

"Kevin!" hissed one of the other marines.

"What?" asked the drunk Marine named Kevin.

"Dude! She's like 15… not coo!" yelled one of the other marines.

"Oh… my bad…" said Kevin.

Yeah… I really did lie about being drunk…" said Naruto.

That was when he transformed back to normal.

"Oh my god a twist!" yelled Kevin.

"Kevin… please go find a place and stay out of the way." Said the first marine they talked to.

"Wait… is he drunk?" asked Naruto as Kevin left.

"Yeah… yeah he is…" sighed one of the other marines.

"But even so… that explains your behavior…" said the first marine they were talking to.

"Yeah… I kind of panicked…" said Naruto.

"We noticed…" said one of the other marines.

"Well it's a good thing your disguise came with back up." Said Naruto.

"Yeah…" said Hinata blushing.

That was when her disguise went back to being normal clothes.

"Oh my god Kevin got us drunk somehow!" yelled one of the other marines.

"It's a devil fruit power you idiot!" yelled the first marine who sounded so done with that day.

The clones began to fight off the marines and Naruto sent out more clones at the marines.

As the tow ran through the base Naruto sighed.

"This was a really bad idea!" yelled Naruto.

"I know…" sighed Hinata.

As they ran through the hallway someone grabbed the two of them.

Both of them were about to react when they saw it was Yugito.

"Yugito?" asked Naruto confused.

She shushed them.

She hid the two and saw some of the marines looking for them.

"I saw the two headed that way." Said Yugito pointing in a random direction.

She then looked at the two.

"What are you two doing here" asked Yugito.

"It's a long story…" sighed Naruto.

"What are you doing here?" asked Hinata.

"I live on this island sometimes." Said Yugito, "The Marine Captain wanted me to do something for him…"

"What" asked Naruto.

"What's going on at Marine Headquarters." Said Yugito.

"We haven't heard about what's going on…" said Hinata.

"But it's been over the news for the past few days." Said Yugito.

"It's a long story…" sighed Naruto.

"Please tell us what's going on…" said Hinata.

Yugito sighed, "Okay…" she said, "The Marines have captured one of Whitebeard's leaders."

"What?" asked Naruto.

"It's true… Portgas D. Ace… and their planning to execute him…" said Yugito.

Naruto paled and he collapsed.

"No…" whispered Naruto.

"It can't be…" whispered Hinata.

"What…" said Yugito.

"No… No… No…" said Naruto.

Hinata hugged him while Yugito looked confused.

Yugito looked on at the two… after all while she did meet the crew in Alabasta, it was long after they parted ways with Ace when they did so…

Because of that she had no clue about his and Ace's relationship…

Or the fact that Naruto had already lost a bother before…

And that it was just getting started…

Next Time: Naruto needs to get his head in the game if he wants to escape both their base and island... but with his brother in danger it's hard to keep focus... what will happen? Find out next time!

A/N: I had way to much fun writing Kevin... I didn't even plan him, he just came into existence while writing the chapter... it's weird... but yeah... had a lot fun with him...
