Chapter 353: Ace's Deadline

Naruto just sat there in shock. He remember back on Thriller Bark. About how the vivre card was explained as being something showing his life was in danger if it was being burned.

He thought he would be fine…

But this was not fine…

"I can't lose another… I can't lose another…" whimpered Naruto.

"Naruto!" cried Hinata hugging him.

"Ace…" cried Naruto.

"I know you're worried… but we have to worry about ourselves right now." Said Hinata.

Naruto just shook.

"Naruto… if they capture us then it will be just Luffy… and I don't know if he can rescue all of us." Said Hinata.

Naruto seemed to snap out of it.

"You're right we need to get out of here." Said Naruto.

"Have a breakdown later kit." said Kyubi.

"Yeah…" sighed Naruto.

Naruto took a breath and looked at the Kage before him.

"Sorry about that…" said Naruto, "It's just that Ace is my brother and… something happened when I was really young involing someone else I was very close to and…"

"It's fine." Said Yugito, "But what are you doing here?"

"well it's kind of a long story." Said Naruto.

Yugito sighed, knowing that they might be found if he tells the whole story.

"But I can make it quick." Said Naruto.

He told the short version (IE: They angered a Celestial Dragon, fought an admiral and then Kuma sent them there).

"Seriously?" asked Yugito.

"It's true." Said Naruto with a nod.

"So you're the only two together?" asked Yugito.

"Yeah." Sighed Hinata.

"And no one else seemed to be on this island." Said Naruto, "We don't know where they are… or if Zoro's okay."

"He was badly injured." Said Hinata.

"Also Chopper did that rumble ball thing." Said Naruto.

"I almost forgot about that." Said Hinata.

"Wait…" said Naruto.

He checked his pockets.

He had a few rumble balls himself.

"I forgot I even had these!" yelled Naruto.

"It's fine… worry about them later!" said Hinata.

"Also Kit… I get the feeling you might need those for later." Said Kyubi, "So you don't use them for these jokers!"

"There's one coming." Said Yugito.

That was when they saw the marine… turned out it was Kevin.

"Kevin…" said Yugito.

"Hey! I shouldn't be telling you this but there's some idiot pirates are here in the base." Said Kevin.

Yugito glared at him.

"And he's drunk again…" Nibi told her.

"Go home Kevin you're drunk…" said Yugito with her eye twitching.

"Jokes on you! I live at the base!" laughed Kevin.

Kevin walked away and tripped causing a huge clash.

"I'm okay!" he yelled.

"Is he like that a lot?" asked Naruto.

"Sadly yes." Sighed Yugito.

She decided to try to lead the two out of the base without them being spotted.

However what none of them noticed was that they were being watched by some surveillance snails.

The captain of the base sighed and face palmed.

"Really! Really!" yelled the captain unsure how to respond to Yugito helping the pirates.

"Sir I got some files on the tow of them!" yelled a marine showing up.

"There better be a good reason for Yugito helping them.

He read the information that the Marines were able to father about Naruto, he read and slammed his head into the desk.

"Sir!" yelled the marine.

"Are you ever sick of being the bad guy in things?" asked the captain.

"Sir… I don't understand." Said the marine that delivered.

"The pirate's a Jinchuriki… and a clone user…" said the captain.

"Wait…" said the marine.

"The kid don't have many choices in life." Said the captain, "He's an outcast… I feel bad for most of the them… they are the cages for horrible monsters but because of that fact, they're the ones treated like the monsters."

The captain began to read Hinata's file. His eyes winded when he saw that the two were born on the same island. Not only that but there was a lot on her.

"Why is there so much on her?" he thought.

Then he looked at the information, her cousin was a marine and she lived in a base town for a long time.

"She's also a gentle fist user…." He thought.

"Sir…" said the marine.

"I'm going to find them and fight them myself." He said.

"Are you sure… you're the strongest here." Said the marine.

"I'm sure… besides we're dealing with a clone user… those are something I'm good against fighting." Said the captain.

With Naruto's group, they continued to look for a way out.

Though Yugito did help out a lot.

"Yugito!" yelled a voice.

They turned and saw the marine captain.

Yugito began to sweat.

"Great…" muttered Naruto.

"You know there's surveillance snails though out the base." Pointed out the captain.

"You have got to be kidding me!" yelled Naruto.

"I didn't even think of that." Said Hinata blushing.

"Yugito… we've known each other for a long time… however I'm going to look away this once." Said the captain.

"Why?" asked Yugito somewhat suspiciously.

"Because I read about who and what he is… and I can't blame you for helping him." Said the captain.

"He's telling the truth." Said Nibi.

"Thank you…" said Yugito.

"But this will be one time only… when I arrest him it will be a one-time thing." Said the captain.

Yugito gritted her teeth.

"Like you can arrest me!" yelled Naruto.

"We both have similar fighting styles… and I know how to take on a Clone User." Said the captain, "I know the points to disable everything."

"What?" asked Naruto.

The captain took a certain stance that Naruto and Hinata knew very well.

"Gentle Fist." Said Hinata.

"I'm gentle fist user as well… but I don't know you're level, but I've heard about your cousin and I'm nowhere his skill… but I'm sure it will be enough to fight your boyfriend." Said the captain.

"Both Naruto and Hinata started blushing.

"What… I was just joking…" said the captain.

Naruto stopped blushing and stepped up.

"Okay then;." Said Naruto.

"Are you sure?" asked Hinata.

"We can't stop running besides if I beat him up I can figure out a way to save Ace." Said Naruto.

"Are you that's a good idea?" asked Hinata.

"I think so." Said Naruto.

He looked at the marine in front of him.

"All right! I'm ready to take you on!" yelled Naruto.

The marine looked at him ready for a fight.

Naruto knew there was more to this fight than just escaping he needed to figure out a way to save his brother…

And hopefully winning this fight would do just that…

Next Time: Naruto must face off against the Marine captain who's quite skilled in gentle fist. Will he be able to beat him so that he can figure out a way to save Ace? Find out next time!
