Happy: a mysterious man has interrupted the trial
Gajeel: and that's not all. A couple of dark guild weirdos are on the Island.

On the Island of Tenrou, home to Mavis Vermillion, Lily and Carla ran through the dark woods hoping to find some whereabouts of Wendy and Mest "so what are you getting at" Carla asked as she and panther Lily flew through the Island.
"All I'm saying is that Mest strikes me as odd," Panther Lily told her "it's as if my mind is in a haze," he explained, "we're told that he was a disciple of Mystogen my prince, and has been so for the past two years, yet other than that I can't seem to remember anything about him," Panther lily said there was something off about all this it was the main reason he had agreed to come hoping to learn more about Mest, and what his prince was up to in earth land however he found it odd that he would have a disciple, to begin with
"I mean, it's not too odd," Carla said. "Natsu was in a way Gildarts disciple." Carla said, "and not to mention Kinana and Mira" Carla let out a huff. "I told Wendy she shouldn't associate with that man."
"We can't dwell on the past," Lily told her. "What we need to do is find Wendy before it's too late."
On the ledge where Wendy and Mest where Wendy was utterly unaware of the sinister look growing in Mest's eyes as he glared into the distance, he smiled at the mere thought of what was on the Island which only leads to more questions; however one thing was clear 'one things clear, pretty soon a guild will be in Magnolia' he smiled at the thought 'these wizards think so there so tuff' as he looked at Wendy who was still overlooking the flowers.
Iron Soul
Levy and Gajeel stood back-to-back, the members of Grimoire heart facing the other evil smiles were on both of their faces "what are you doing here" Levy asked.
"Were hunting," Yomazu told her, "And you two are our first pray" he made a symbol on the edge of his sword a loud noise pierced the air making both Gajeel and Levy clutch their ears in pain "time to die"
"My ears," Gajeel screamed, "there's writing on his sword," Gajeel said. "I'm pretty sure it is the same as yours" he looked back, seeing that Levy didn't respond "hey, Levy."
"it has to be the eastern version of solid script magic" Levy looked forward to seeing that Kawazu was about to attack them "oh no, Gajeel," she looked to see him still covering his ears in pain "damn it, he can't hear me" Levy looked around as Kawazu closed in she had to think fast as she gripped Gajeel's shirt and forced him to the ground making him narrowly miss the strike from Kawazu he turned around before puffing out his chest and firing a series of eggs at them.

"Are those eggs" Gajeel screamed as the eggs exploded, sending extremely painful yolk at them, making the ground fly up as they were push back, still covering his ears as he jumped back. "I can't do anything as long as that noise is going on," Gajeel screamed again as Yomazu attempted to slash him with his sword Gajeel jumped out of the way "damn," he shouted, "I can't hear him coming over all the noise."
"Hold on," Levy screamed "{Sold scrip: Silence}" Levy quickly weaved her hands through the air destroying the noise scrip stopping the sound as she smiled "there," she said
"How dare she stop what I have written."
"My turn" Gajeel then hit Yomazu with his Iron dragon club, sending the man back as Kawazu. fired off more eggs at them
"Take this {Solid script: Fire}" Levy created a small fire that was able to burn up the eggs before they exploded, sending Kawazu back into a tree.
"Slide slide slide," Yomazu said calmly before looking up "you shall pay," he screamed "{Slash}" he moved his sword, creating a large shockwave that was enough to destroy several trees near them as Gajeel ducked underneath him he smiled as he made another significant slash which Gajeel was unable to dodge which made him activate his Iron dragon scales.
"Damn, he's tough" Kawazu continued to fire eggs at Levy, overwhelming her as she jumped back.
"Levy" Gajeel tried to move but stopped when he felt a sword graze his cheek. He turned to see Yomazu stabbing at him at breaking speeds "damn it," Gajeel muttered, "he's breaking through hall my Iron dragon scales."
"Now stab," he shouted as he managed to slash Gajeel in the rib, making him cough up blood as he fell back. "And now for my finishing move."
"No, Gajeel," Levy screamed.
"{Dark Sword: Narukami}" he screamed as he made a significant slash on Gajeel creating a large shock wave as his Iron dragon scales shattered as he coughed up more blood and landed on the ground looking back, Yomazu smiled "if this how powerful the wizards that Mavis brought here, then this will be a snap" he laughed "hell I bet we could take them all out before the main force arrives"
"What," Levy asked "how do you know Mavis" she screamed
Yomazu smiled as Levy backed up "she never told you, "He said with an evil grin on his face, "well it's no matter since your all about to die," he looked at Gajeel, who was starting to move again "soon the rest of Grimore heart will be here, and all you pathic wizards are going to die."
"There more of you," Gajeel said, struggling to move
"This one still clucking," Kawazu said, "We should kill him fast."
"Levy," Gajeel muttered, " I need you to run."
"What," Levy asked. "I'm not leaving you," she screamed, "we can beat them."
"You think so." Yomazu laughed as he attempted to slash Levy, only for Gajeel to stop him and force him back
"What he still has the strength to stand," Yomazu asked as Gajeel fell to the ground, his injuries still taking a toll
"You need to warn the others."
"Gajeel," Levy muttered "{Solid script: Iron}" she screamed. a large iron fell in front of Gajeel "we can win this, but we need to stick together, right" she said, tears forming in her eyes, "cause we're friends, right."
"Friends," Gajeel muttered. He smiled as he started to eat the iron
"How touching," Kawazu said as he began to move Gajeel. Having finished his Iron slammed his fist on the ground knocking the two back. as Gajeel stood to his feet looking at Levy, a smile coming over his face. "what" Kawazu said in shock at the sudden strength Gajeel had, "how."

"So, you want to pick a fight with us solo wizards, huh," Gajeel asked. "I did to way back when," he smiled "let me guess, just cause we're not in a guild mean you think we're weak" he smiled as his body started getting covered in his Iron dragon scales again. Levy stood next to him, his fight with Natsu going through this head "well, let me tell you something, bub."
"Messing with the wizards of Magnolia," Levy started
"Will be the biggest mistake you ever made," Gajeel finished "{Iron dragon: roar.}"
"Defense" Yomazu shouted as he created a barrier.
"Take this," Kamazu shouted. He sent millions of eggs into the sky "{egg rain}
"{Solid scrip: perfect shield"} Levy called as she managed to shield herself and Gajeel from the attack Yomazu attempted another attack, only for Gajeel to block again with his iron.
"That full little pocketknife won't cut through my steel," Gajeel shouted
"Bah caw" Kamazu attempted another attack, only for Levy to attack
"Would you shut up" she shouted "{Solid script: bomb}" Levy sent a small round which blew, forcing Kawaza to fumble up with his eggs "now," she turned to see Yomazu rushing her, only for Gajeel to jump in the way taking the blow with his iron dragon club "Gajeel."
Gajeel let out breaths of air he could pass out from the pain at any moment "these bone heads," he muttered. "There, as thick-headed as I was, he thought back to the time when he was a member of the phantom. Lord, the strongest guild in Fiore "at the time, I thought I had life all figured out," he thought to himself. He then turned to Levy, who was still fighting off Kawazu, "then we were forced. To disband."
Flashback
It wasn't too long after phantom lord had attempted to take over Magnolia. Mavis is seen walking through an odd area that is completely covered in metal. As she entered a room, she saw the person she was looking for sitting on top of a pile of rubble Gajeel was munching on a small piece of Iron looking back; he saw Mavis.
"Wait," he muttered, "you're that chick from Magnolia" she flashed him a grin as she started to climb the rubble to look at him "what you come to gloat."
"a hello to you too, young man." Mavis said in a sarcastic tone, "I must say you must not be too big on manners."
"So, what do you want" Gajeel
"Your friend Juvia has recently decided to take up solo wizarding in our town," Mavis told him, getting a shocked look from Gajeel. "she asked me to come to check up on you" she gave him a warm smile " she was very concerned about you."
"She what," he said, throwing the Iron he was eating across the room, "chicks got rain for brains."
"So," Mavis asked, ignoring his outburst, "what are your plans for the future."
"I don't know yet," Gajeel said, looking away, "keeping my options open."
"When reflecting on it," Mavis asked, "what was phantom Lord to you," Mavis asked, "did it help you achieve what you wanted with gifts you have,"
"what's with all the questions lady," Gajeel asked, getting more annoyed at the second.
"I guess you could say they all boil down to the same point," Mavis told him. "If Jose had asked, you would have taken a life, was his power absolute, is the person that you say is a match with the person that lies deep within your soul."
"Would you just get lost" Gajeel shouted
"You don't have to let yourself be plunged into darkness," Mavis said, "come with us, come to magnolia with your friend Juvia, join our family."
"What," Gajeel said, comply caught off guard by her request, he looked away. the shadow's still covering his face "you know it was me," Gajeel muttered, "that destroyed the place you guys work at right."
"I know," Mavis said, "materialistic things can be replaced or, in this case, rebuilt."
"And it was me who hurt your three little friends," Gajeel admitted as he felt a weight in the air.
"I know," Mavis' voice was known deep as an intense magic power flowed through the air, "a despicable act," she said, "one that I will never truly forgive," she said as fear found its way onto Gajeel's face. as he still refused to look her in the eyes, "but for me," Mavis said, her voice returning to normal, "letting a young man like yourself fall into the darkness when knowing that I could have done something to prevent it is even more unforgivable."
"Why," Gajeel asked

"There is solace in one's own company," Mavis told him, "But no one deserves a life of total isolation."
"I don't," Gajeel started "what if I can't."
"it's not a matter if you can't," Mavis told him "the only thing that matters is that you want to," Mavis told him as Gajeel looked up, "sometimes when walking down the path we call life, it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel" she admitted, "there will moments we consider letting the darkness consume you that it's the only way to find peace."
"So, you're saying that you can't help me," Gajeel asked.
"No, I can't," Mavis admitted as light shined on Gajeel's face as he finally looked back, seeing a bright golden light shining around Mavis. She seemed almost divine it was enough to make Gajeel speechless "all I can do is point you in the right direction," she smiled. "And simply be a guide when you stumble and fall" Mavis looked him dead in the eye, "but only you can create your path out of the shadows." she reached out her hand, smiling once more, the light never leaving her "so, will you take"
"I will"
End Flashback
Gajeel smiled as the memory played in his mind. He never forgets how he came to Magnolia and when Levy told him about Salamander's past, that was when he understood everyone had at some point walked into the shadows somewhere still looking; he looked at Yomazu. he was giving him an evil grin as he started slashing again only for Gajeel to catch his blade "you ain't going to win this" he shouted as he began to bend the blade "we're not losing" he then used his strength to break the blade in two.
"What," Yomazu asked in shock as Gajeel punched him away with his club before he started eating the sword "no, my soul is in that blade."
"Now I got a fire in my belly," Gajeel muttered, "and Iron in my soul," he shouted, Mavis' words ringing through his head, "you're going down {dragon slayer secret art: Karam demon} Gajeel created a long Iron sword that pierced the trees as Yomazu backed up in fear "{Iron god sword}" he slashed him knocking the man back as he stumbled.
"Gajeel," Levy cried, "are you okay."
"Yeah," Gajeel said as he fell to the ground, "thank you."
"Huh," Levy said, "what are you thanking me for" she looked away. "I didn't do much."
"You took out one of these goons," Gajeel smiled "that was more than enough," he let out a pained laugh, "and I was thanking you for being my friend."
Levy let out a small laugh. as she fell to the ground as well, "Gajeel," she muttered, "I'll be honest with you, I never expected to pass the trial," she said, getting a shocked look from Gajeel
"Then why did."
"I wanted to repay a debt," Levy admitted "when I first met Mavis, she was so warm and caring," she thought back to when she was a kid back when she Jet and Droy first found themselves at Magnolia. "she's done so much for us" Levy smiled "I wanted to see if I could repay that debt."
"Ya," Gajeel muttered, "I completely understand."
"You do," Levy asked.
"What happened here" a voice called Levy looked to the side to see Erza and Juvia running up to them.
"Erza," Levy called.
"Levy," she said, "are you alright."
"I'm fine," Levy said
"Gajeey" Juvia asked
"I thought I told you not to call me that," Gajeel admitted
"Juvia has no idea what you're talking about"
they were all stopped when Yomazu let out a laugh "you're all fools," he said, sitting up "soon the main force will be here," he smiled, "and there carrying wizards whose power could rival that of wizard saint or put into terms you solo wizards will understand. they match the power of the three children of Magnolia, the seven kin of purgatory."
"The Seven kin"
"What," Erza asked as she pulled out something "this is bad. We need to warn Natsu and Mira," she called as she shot a flare into the sky was bright red "we have a code red."
"What that" Juvia asked
"It means an enemy attack on grounds," Levy muttered as she stood up "we need to regroup
all across the Island, the people saw the flare go up
"What," Cana asked "why now"
"I don't know" Lucy looked back to see Cana holding her head
"this was supposed to be my chance," she said, tears starting to form in her eyes. "I refuse to let it slip away from me."
"Calm down," as Gray's voice suddenly cut in as he and like suddenly walked up to them, "if that's a red flare that means something about to go down, we need to do as Mira told us and return to camp."
"Yeah," Cana said as she looked into the distance.
From her spot Mavis looked up 'the die has been cast,' she thought to herself. A light shined behind her as she looked back "yes," she muttered, " I do think it's him."
"So, what do we do," Juvia asked
"I'll take Gajeel back to base camp," Levy said
"Okay," Erza said, "you go on ahead. I'll stay here and try to figure out what's going on; I'll meet you there."
"don't push yourself on my account, shrimp," Gajeel muttered.
"Well, somebody's gotta do it, ya big lug," she said as Juvia smiled at the pair.
'I'm glad he's making more friends," Juvia said to herself as her thoughts went back to Gray. 'I hope you are okay out there, my love.
"Now tell me," Erza said, "what does Grimoire heart want with Tenrou Island."

Yomazu said nothing as he looked away, only for Erza to slam him on the head "we seek him the legendary black wizard known as Zeref."
"What," Erza asked in shock, "what do you mean? Zeref is long dead."
"you're wrong," Yomazu told her. "He lives for over four hundred years and now is sealed away waiting to be awoken, and when that happens, the world will be consumed in a never-ending darkness."
"You must be fool's if you think we'll let that happen," Erza told him
"Oh, we were counting on it," Yomazu smiled "the seven kin are looking forward to taking the group of wizards calling themselves fairy tail. That name is a sore spot for our master as it seems because, for the first time since our guilds founding, all seven are in one place."
"The witch Ultear"
"The destroyer of flames Zancrow"
"The white terror Meredy"
"The creationist Rustyrose."
"The sorcerer Kain Hikaru."
"And my superior Caprico, the dominator of human life," Yomazu laughed, "and then there's him, and he's already here."
"what," Erza asked "who" she screamed, gripping his shirt, "who are you talking about."
Wendy looked at the red flare "umm, what did Mira say that flare meant again."
"Umm," Mest started before he started betting on a rock, "damn it," he said, 'I need to get back before the main force arrives.' He looked at Wendy. "I guess she'll just have to be a prisoner of war.
"Wendy," a voice called. The pair looked back to see Carl and Lily rushing towards them.
"What are you doing here," Wendy asked.
"Never mind that get away from him," Carla shouted as she pushed Wendy away from Mest "now drop the act and tell us who you really are," Carla called, "now."
"What," Mest asked, trying to act confused, "I told you I'm Mystogens pu-" Before he could finish, Lily had transformed into his battel mode and slammed the rock next to him, making him stop in his tracks
"Now," Lily said in a calm voice, "I don't believe my prince would take a pupil in this world," he growled as he looked Mest dead in the eye. "Now, are you smart enough to use someone who doesn't live here anymore, but will you be smart enough to tell the truth?"
