Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. The war with Grimoire heart has truly begun, and the dragon slayers have secured their first victory against the god slayer Zancrow. Still, the other wizards of magnolia are facing equally powerful wizards. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles they face, or will they fall to the terrifying might Grimoire hearts seven kin?

Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Natsu: we were able to defeat one of the seven kin

Wendy," but it took everything we had

Happy: you're telling me there are six more people just as strong

Natsu: we have a real fight on our hands

Mavis felt a smile form on her face as she saw Natsu standing victories over Zancrow as the wizard tried to stand but failed "no," he muttered, "how that puny dragon hunter," he said, "beat me."

'He managed to empty his body of magic power and became a vessel cable of capturing any fire," Mavis said "as impressive as that is, I'm still going to scold him for being so reckless.'

"Master," Natsu's voice pulled Mavis out of her thoughts. "I understand that you want to protect us," Natsu started, "but you have to realize that you are with us," he said, facing her. "Every time I leave the pub, through every fight I've been in," Natsu raised his fist in the air, "we have to show these guys that they can't mess with us, that we won't go down without a fight." Natsu said, "you have to realize that even if you can't help us fight, you are the reason we keep going. We will fight because of you, we have a place to call home, and we will fight for you to the very end." before long Natsu fell to the ground exhausted from the stunt he just pulled.

"Natsu," Wendy called as Mavis mulled over his words. Looking at the sky, she found herself smiling.

'Natsu,' Mavis muttered, 'you've grown so much, haven't you.'

The Grand Magic world

Mira dodged another explosion as Azuma glared at her "if you and these filthy wizards are a family," he started, "then it only makes sense that you die together," he shouted as he created another explosion sending Mira to the ground.

"Mira," Levy called, 'I don't understand; why won't she use Satan's soul.' she said as Mira attempted to stand again 'it's the only way she can win.'

"Levy," Mira called, "I told you to go," she screamed,

"But."

"Now, Levy!" Mira screamed, "get inside now." she said as Azuma said nothing 'I have no choice' Mira said to herself, 'I need to use Satan's soul, but she shook the thought out of her head 'had it been the old me, I would have already transformed but now' Lisanna flashed in her mind ever since that day my magic never been the same she stood up

"So, you plan to face me," Azuma said, smiling before Mira transformed, taking on her she-devil form.

[## Prelude to destruction ost##]

"Mira," Levy called, "be careful."

' Ever since that day,' Mira said to herself, 'I've hated this transformation' she then rushed off, 'but now I have no choice' she landed a kick on Azuma, shocking the man as he flew back as the trees moved to catch him, he stood up a smile forming on his face she looked at Mira realizing who she was

"I don't believe my luck," he said, "you are the legendary She-devil and chosen daughter of magnolia. You are said to be stronger than Salamander, the chosen son" he smiled as he stood up. The look of boredom on his face was gone as he walked up to her "finally, a worthy opponent," he smiled, "may our battle shake the heavens," he screamed as Levy backed up, confused.

'Why are all these dark guild types such nutjobs' she wondered to herself as a group of roots surrounded her and Gajeel "what" she screamed.

"What are you doing," Mira said

"Like I said," Azuma said, "I want you to come at me with your best," he smiled, "so to make sure you do, I've laced my roots with explosives. They will go off in three minutes. The only way to stop them is to beat me.

"You come after my friends and me," Mira said, visibly angry "I'll take you down," she screamed as she charged Azuma. He blocked her attack, smiling, kicking her into the sky, wrapping her with roots.

"{chain explosion}" Azuma snapped his fingers.

"Mira," Levy called as she tried. She heard the roots still ticking "be careful, don't worry about us, beat this guy."

Hearing this, Mira sprouted her wings, flipping around. She flew toward Azuma "let them go," she screamed as she attacked Azuma, who only blocked

"This intensity," Azuma said, "the power behind her punches" he smiled "yes" he smiled "I truly have found a worthy opponent," he said as he kicked her back, only for her to jump up and land a hit on him one more time." it's been years since I've felt this alive," Azuma said as he created another explosion sending Mira back into a tree.

"Damn you," Mira screamed as she charged again, kicking him back before looking at the roots that surrounded her friends. "Running out of time," she felt Azuma kick her in the stomach.

"You should know better than to look away," he screamed. "{Burst claw}" he shouted as the roots struck Mira, sending her into the sky.

"{evil explosion}" Mira screamed, landing a devastating attack on Azuma creating a small crater as Mira landed in the rubble. Much to her shock, Azuma had managed to protect himself using the trees in the area "no," Mira said

"This is so much fun," Azuma muttered "let's keep going" he gave an evil grin as Mira backed up.

"Damn," Mira said, "I need more time," Mira said. "I'm not strong enough," Mira said, looking down, "but there is one thing I can do" she then moved to where the roots were, the time still ticking away, gripping both Levy and Gajeel.

"Mira," Levy said, "what are you doing

"Levy, I need you to listen," Mira started "don't worry, you and Gajeel will be fine."

"but"

"I can't win this," Mira admitted, "not as I am now," her voice cracked. "I need you to tell Elfman to take care of himself, that I love him matter what, that I'm proud of the man he's grown into " Levy couldn't move. She could only listen as tears formed in her eyes, "tell Natsu not to blame himself that I believe in him and that no matter what, I'm his big sister and I would give the world for him," she sighed, seeing that she only had a few seconds left "and tell Kinana that I'm sorry." she smiled "sorry that I won't be able to see the powerful wizard she becomes." soon the roots stopped ticking a large explosion overtook the camp, 'sorry that you had such a weak mentor.'

In magnolia, the sound of glass breaking caught Kinana's attention. She turned to see that a picture she had next to her had fallen over. bending down, she picked it up. "I remember this," Kinana muttered.

"Is everything okay" a voice called. She turned to see Freed had come up to her.

"Oh yeah," she said, "just this picture fell over," she looked it over "the crack goes over, Mira," she said, tracing her finger over the photo she had taken after her first week of working here with Mira. she smiled. Still, she had a bad feeling. It made her nervous. "Something bad had to happen."

"I'm sure whatever it is," Freed said, trying to cheer the girl up, "Mira could handle it,"

Kinana said nothing while she appreciated and understood Mira; she couldn't help it. Mira was like a big sister to her; ever since she woke up, Mira had become an essential part of her life. Clutching the photo, she could only hope that she was okay 'Mira.'

while the camp was destroyed, Levy and Gajeel found themselves primarily okay despite their previous injuries. "Mira," Levy got ran to her friend's side. "Mira, are you okay," Azuma said nothing as he left them. Levy's screams echoed through the forest.

In the forest, Wendy had begun and failed to heal Natsu "what's going on" she said

"Wendy," a voice called. She looked up, seeing Carla, Happy, and Lily flying towards her "are you hurt, child."

"No, I'm fine," Wendy said

"you guys managed to beat that Grimoire heart guy, "Happy asked, looking down. He saw Natsu still passed out on the ground "what happened"

"I don't know," Wendy said, "but my magic is not working," she said, "his wounds aren't responding. Why can't I heal him" Wendy felt tears form in her eyes as Mavis started to move?

"Wendy," she muttered, "my child, you need to calm down."

"Mavis," Wendy muttered. hearing her words Wendy wiped the tears forming in her eyes and let out a breath of calming air before nodding "okay," she whispered

"Now, what's wrong, my dear," she said, still in pain. Her left eye was barely open.

"it's Natsu," Wendy muttered. "I can't heal him."

Mavis said nothing. She could barely move, let alone look at Natsu right now, but she needed to help Wendy "okay, my child," she said again. "I need you and Carla to be my eyes right now," she said, "something must be preventing your magic from affecting Natsu. Look him over is something different about him."

"Now that you mention," Wendy started, "his scarf is black."

"Oh yeah," Happy said, "before we found you, we ran into this crying man, he attacked Natsu with this weird black mist, and it turned his scarf black." Happy explained, "everything around him withered and died. It was horrible."

"I see," Mavis muttered. "Wendy," she said, "I need you to do everything I say and follow my instructions. to the letter," Mavis said there was a sense of urgency in her voice

"what's wrong," Carla asked, "why did the magic turn Natsu's scarf black."

"It is called Ankhseram Black Magic," Mavis said "it's ancient and lost magic. Natsu is lucky that his scarf could absorb the spell because it kills everything on sight."

"what" Happy muttered.

"it's okay," Mavis said, "but Wendy, you need to cleanse the scarf of the black magic."

"Can her magic do that" Lily asked

"I don't know," Carla asked

"Yes, she can," Mavis smiled "your sky magic is one of the few magic that can combat these kinds of things," she said, "but you need to listen, okay."

"Okay," Wendy said, reaching her hands out. Her magic reacted to Natsu's scarf as Mavis smiled. Soon she began instructing the girl on how to cleanse Natsu's scarf. As she did this, Lily scratched his chin.

"Grimoire heart is here looking for someone," Lily asked. "Do you think this man is the person?"

"there's no doubt in my mind," Mavis said, "so we need to be ready."

Ultear walked through the forest a blush had formed on her face "soon" she muttered "this journey has been long" she said "I have done things many things" she smiled "of course, I'm not the only one, but now I'm so close. "

"Lord Zeref," Ultear grinned, "fate will soon unite us."

"So, you're looking for me." a voice called Ultear turned to see Zeref walking up to her "you are the ones sowing conflict and death," he said, "it's tragic, for you have made me quite angry."

"Lord Zeref," Ultear sad, dropping to one knee, "after so long, I have finally found you," she said

"You have come here seeking my power," he asked.

"No," Ultear told him, "We have come here because of your mere existence."

"I will have no part in the affairs of this current era," Zeref said as he glared at Ultear. "I have no wish to participate in any more wars or see more deaths."

"What," Ultear said in shock "maybe this is his resting state," she said before looking at Zeref. A dark feeling came over her as Ultear let out a scream pierced the trees.

[##Seven kin of purgatory##]

Elfman and Evergreen dodged another attack as Rusty rose and stood above them "hey, watch it, ya big brute."

"you're one to talk," Evergreen shouted.

"For this battle of I summon my Sacred Guardian Beast: Belcusas the Thunderclap," Rustyrose said as the beast struck again, only for Elfman and Evergreen to dodge it again.

"Did he say Belcusas the thunderclap" Evergreen asked

"that's a pretty manly nickname."

"Angels quickly fly from fate; alas, a devil always lies in wait," Rustyrose said again.

"I'm getting sick of your angel and devil crap," Elfman shouted, "come here and face me like a real man."

"Belcusas," Rustyrose ordered, "go give that man the fight he desires."

"I was talking to you."

"{Fairy machine gun: leprechaun)." Evergreen shouted as she shot another attack at the enormous monster, only for it to brush it off, "not a scratch."

"So, you like monsters, huh," Elfman asked "{take over: beast soul}" Elfman managed to stop Belcusas "what are you waiting for, turning him to stone already."

"That only works on humans, you oaf," Evergreen shot back

"I was talking about him" Elfman pointed to Rustyrose

"That won't work on him cause he's wearing glasses."

"that's the lamest excuse I've ever heard" as the two started arguing again, Rustyrose smiled.

"Sparks flames ignite between those who are in love."

"We are not in love," they shouted back.

"Stay here and handle that," Evergreen said, creating her fairy wings. "I think I have his magic figured out," she smiled "he's a summoning wizard." she smiled, "and people like him all have one glaring weakness; the caster is incredibly weak." somewhere on the Island, Lucy let out a sneeze.

"I am the lord of the underworld," Rustyrose started, "and my arm is a jet-black sword that may cleave through all," he shouted as his arm turned into a sword. He then let out a large slash at Evergreen knocking her back. Elfman soon found himself under Belcusas foot as the monster disappeared.

"What is that guy," Elfman asked, "I don't understand his magic."

"I guess I could try to explain it," Rustyrose said, "but to scum like you, it might be hard to understand"

"what"

[##Zeref's Melancholy Ost##]

"My magic is one of the seven original," he said, "and as such, it creates a large burden on my soul," he said, "however, the black wizard is almost within reach, and as such, my guild and I can fulfill our goal" he then showed a picture of Zeref.

"Wait," Elfman said, "that's the man from earlier."

"The legendary black wizard," Evergreen said. Fear was in her voice as she tried to move.

"Soon, we will enter the grand magic world."

"what's that" on the other side, the Island Caprico was giving the others the same explanation.

"a world ruled by fear and darkness," Caprico responded, "as it should be"

"a wizard's Provence," Rustyrose continued, "where those who don't share our abilities perish or tremble as they pray for death." Rustyrose laughed "doesn't it sound wonderful a world made entirely for our kind" he smiled, "and once Zeref takes his place as ruler of this world."

"All our dreams will come to true"

Ultear stood in fear at the presence that Zeref created as he formed a small black orb it soon flew towards at the last seconds. He managed to dodge it and bore a hole into the rock behind her.

"If that hits me," Ultear thought to herself. "I need to be careful, but attaining lord Zeref is at risk," he said. "I must take that risk," she said

"{arc of time: forward}" the rocks behind her broke apart and attacked the sphere creating a small explosion that made her fall down "now speeding forth the flow of time, I will trap you in its course."

Large trees sprouted around Zeref as the man backed up "it comes," he said, "the curse," he shouted as everything around him withered and died. Seeing this, Ultear grabbed her sphere and sued it to create a barrier around herself, absorbing the black mist as best she could. As the effect ended, the globe turned black and broke in two. Using her time magic, she managed to reverse its impact,

"What," Zeref said in shock, "who are you."

"{Arc of time: Luminous bullet}" she shouted, creating several small orbs which were enough to bring Zeref to the ground. "I know of your power, lord Zeref," Ultear said, "but don't you dare underestimate the leader of the seven kin," she screamed.

"Please," Zeref said

"Worry not, lord Zeref," Ultear said, "soon the pathway to the grand magic world" Ultear felt a small giggle come across her 'after all these years, I finally have him.'

"Soon, all my wishes and desires will come forth."
