Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to the next exciting chapter of a fairy tail re-told; nothing much to talk about today, so I'm just going to get right into it. how are you :)

Last time on a fairy tail re-told.

Wendy: the dark guild Grimoire heart has invaded Mavis's home of Tenrou Island

Lucy: It looks like they're ready for war but why

Carla: there in search of the black wizard Zeref, and as usual, we're just caught in the middle.

Lucy: I should have known

Happy: another day in the office, Lucy

The sun had since begun to set the sky as the sky turned orange Ultear smiled at the scene. for the first time in her life, she wanted to watch the sunset. 'it's like,' she thought to herself as she caressed Zeref's face, 'this chapter of my life is finally ending,' she thought. 'I finally have you all to myself, lord Zeref, and no one is going to take you from me," she said 'soon, you will rule the magic world.' Ultear smiled, "and I will finally be able to achieve my dream' Ultear felt herself giggle like a schoolgirl. after all of the fighting the bloodshed the tears soon she would finally be able to get the dream she wanted 'Meredy was right' she thought to herself.

'Soon,' Ultear sat back against the tree. "Soon, everything I've fought for will come true' Ultear looked down, 'and things will be different; Ultear looked into the distance.

"I will have my happiness."

Lost magic

Elfman had since grabbed Evergreen and had attempted to run away from Rustyrose, but his monster had given chase. "I don't think that thing is going to let us get away," Evergreen shouted when she felt Elfman stop, nearly dropping her "hey, why are you" she stopped when she looked over to see that Elfman had come to a cliff "end of the line huh."

"What a view."

"I'm so switching sides," Evergreen muttered. "I can't believe that you'd run off without looking where you're going," Evergreen shouted.

"You love complaining, don't ya" Elfman shouted "well, fine, then walk on your own"

"I can't believe you'd force your crippled teammate to fend for herself," Evergreen shouted.

"You seem fit as a horse to me," Elfman shouted as Belcusas approached him.

"Oh no, he has us cornered," Evergreen said, "and we'll be making a crater if it goes Berserk here."

"that's it," Elfman said. "I can't believe I didn't think about that."

"You think," Evergreen said, "probably not the best idea."

"Those smarty-pants glasses help," Elfman shot back "maybe I should get a pair."

"I'm smart with or without these glasses," Evergreen shouted, "or did you forget I'm one of the gre-" she stopped when Elfman grabbed her, making her blush "what are you doing," she asked before Elfman tossed her into the sky. "I'm going to kill you."

[## Black wizards wicked heart##]

"No time like the present," he screamed as he ducked under Belcusas "hey, ugly down here," he said, transforming into his beast soul "let's go, man to man," he shouted as Belcusas slammed the ground. forcing the cliff to collapse as Elfman jumped; the beast fell from the cliff creating a large crater as Elfman clung to the cliffside

"Alright, you," Evergreen said as she floated to the ground before kicking him with her foot, "next time you have a hair-brained plan, leave me out of it; I'm not bait for you to use at your leisure," she screamed as she kicked Elfman."

"a heated discussion followed by physical contact," a voice called "today's lover have no sense of shame."

"Shut up," both called, only to back up in fear when they realized it was Rustyrose

"I'm impressed," Rustyrose said "many have met their end by my beast; surviving is truly worth praise and song," he said as a dark look came over him, "finding victory after such a pitiful display, my poet's soul wept in disgust," he said, "wizards like you have no place in the grand magic world, it will snuff you out and like that we'll be free of you."

"you're talking about a coward's freedom," Elfman said, slamming his fist on the ground "a real man doesn't need to destroy the world to feel comfortable living in it," he said, shocking both of them "there are people in our world that don't have magic power, and you'd kill them to gain happiness."

"yes" was all Rustyrose said

"Then I can't let you do that," Elfman said as he struggled to stand up

"Are you serious? You think they're necessary?" Rustyrose asked, "not having magic power is like being a candle that you can't light," Rustyrose said he was surprised at this wizard's fortitude "it should be discarded."

"All life has meaning," Elfman said as he fell again "having magic power doesn't mean you're more valuable."

"he's injured," Evergreen said. "Belcusas must have done more damage than I thought."

"you're a solo wizard, are you not," Rustyrose asked "you should embrace this," he smiled, "or you're afraid to lose your cash crop. If that's the case, you come off as quite the hypocrite."

"We as wizards take on jobs that they can't handle, and as thank, they give us compensation," Elfman said, "whether it be through that healthy meal, supplies to keep going, or money" Elfman looked at him, "that's the relationship that has built the world we live in today, wizards are supposed to be the light for everyone else."

"I see," Rustyrose said, "you have strayed too far," he smiled, "too far from the abyss of enteral sorcery; magic's true nature is darkness, my friend," he smiled, "like a setting sun, it is always destined to return" Rustyrose looked them dead in the eye "soon all wizards will learn that lesson and those that fail to will be in the grave."

"If I gotta die," Elfman shouted, "then I'm taking you with me," he shouted.

"at least you made your position clear," Rustyrose said as he turned his arm to a sword striking Elfman back.

"Leave him alone," Evergreen screamed.

"You won't take us down," Elfman told him Rustyrose landed another hit, only for Elfman to grab his arm.

"what" he screamed, "let me go, you filthy rat."

"To take down your opponent," Elfman said, "you need to know them inside and out" he smiled "thanks, sis," smiled. "I needed an arm," as he used his take-over magic to create a similar weapon.

"How dare you," Rustyrose shouted, "in my left hand appears a kite shield from which no attack shall ever pass" he then created a shield which was able to block Elfman's attack "now what do you plan on doing, you filthy-" he stopped when Elfman grabbed his glasses "what."

"Got ya," Elfman screamed, "now Ever."

"I'll let that slide," Evergreen said, "only of means shutting this drama club reject up" she then took off her glasses.

"No," Rustyrose screamed. "I can't believe that," he said, backing up before smiling" you'd call me a drama club rejects," he said, shocking Evergreen and Elfman as he removed his hands to show that he had a new pair of glasses.

"what" Elfman was then kicked into Evergreen. "I destroyed them with my hand."

"My magic is connected to my imagination," he said, "if I can see it, I can create it and give it shape."

"No such magic exists," Evergreen said

"In your world maybe," Rustyrose said, "but I," he said, posing dramatically, "I come from a different one."

"Lost magic," Elfman said

"Yes," Rustyrose, "my magic is without equal, no wizard could ever hope to match," he smiled "no, come forth my {dark tower: Tower of Dingir)" he screamed as an enormous tower erupted from the ground.

"I can't move," Elfman said. "Ever" he looked to the side to see Evergreen was crying.

"I'm sorry, Elfman," she said. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you live up to the promise you made to your sister, maybe."

"No," Elfman said, tears forming in his eyes. He smiled, "I think I lived up to it just fine."

"Now wane to the ends of darkness" the tower exploded, creating a large shockwave as Elfman and Evergreen screamed in pain.

Elsewhere on the Island, Natsu, having felt the shockwaves, jumped up as Wendy and Happy jumped him. "Natsu," they both screamed, "you're awake."

"where's Mavis," he asked as Wendy motioned to where Mavis lay "is she"

"Wendy hasn't gotten started on trying to heal her yet, so we can't say," Carla told him

"Hey," Natsu said, looking down, "my scarf is fixed."

"Yeah, that was Wendy," Happy said. "Mavis taught her some healing magic trick to get the gunk out," he explained "she also flipped your shirt around."

"Huh," Natsu smiled, "thank you, kid."

"It was my pleasure," Wendy said.

before they could say anything else, Natsu jumped up "what's wrong" Wendy asked as Natsu looked around

"It can't be," Natsu said, "why would he be here."

"Who is he talking about" Wendy asked

"You don't smell anything," Carla asked Wendy, who shook her head

"All these new smells are making it hard to focus on anyone's scents," Wendy said "that, and well, Natsu has a better nose than I do."

"If he's here," Natsu looked at Wendy, "stay here."

"What," Wendy asked

"This guy is dangerous," Natsu muttered, "We met on Galuna Island, and he gave me a run for my money" he looked at Wendy. "I need you to stay here and heal up, Mavis. Can you do that?"

"I can try," Wendy said, "but Natsu, what's going on."

"Let me handle it," Natsu said, "stay here till I get back," Natsu shouted as he ran off, leaving the group completely confused.

"Natsu," Happy called, catching up to him, "what makes you so sure that it's the same guy."

"there's something unique about him," Natsu told him

"Was it the mask" Happy asked, "it was pretty cool."

"Focus, Happy" Happy only laughed as the pair ran off

"I must say," Lily said, as he watched them run into the forest, "I envy Natsu's nose sometimes. "

"The perk of a dragon slayer," Carl said, "if all the wizards in Grimoire heart know lost magic, then our friends are probably in deep trouble."

on the shores of the Island, the magic enforcement unit had managed to make landfall as they were trying to get the injured from the ships "we need healers here on the double," a man called it was Lahar, the man who had been the one to bring Jellal into custody as he turned Mest had appeared behind him still injured from his fight with Azuma

"Dornbolt," Lahar said, "what happened? You look like you went through a meat grinder."

"Never mind that," Mest or Dornbolt said, "is everyone here okay."

"Yes," Lahar said, "what's going on over there."

"Everything was going fine," Dornbolt started, "but then out of nowhere, a three-way war between Zeref, Grimore heart, and fairy tail blew up right in my face," he said "this was Grimoire hearts handy work" he looked to the side "where is the communication lacrmia

"What," Lahar asked, "this can't be mere coincidence" a look of fear grew on Lahr's face "the council might just use this as an opportunity to wipe them all out."

"What," Dornbolt asked, "an etherion blast," he said, "why our goal was to force the wizards to accept a guild," Dornbolt said, "not kill them all."

"I know that," Lahar said, "but you and I both know how the current chairmen are." he said, "and we both know that as long as fairy tail and the three children exist, no guild will form in magnolia. However, if we remove them from the equation."

"Are you serious," Dornbolt "you would sacrifice innocent lives."

"If that is what the council wishes," Lahar told him, "now shall you tell HQ are should I"

In another part of the Island, Lucy, Gray, Cana, and Loke were still struggling to fight Caprico "what you're saying is Genocide," Loke shouted.

"Only ten percent of the population will survive," Cana muttered

"that's crazy," Lucy called "how could you? Don't you know people will fight to the very end?"

"True," Caprio responded, "but master Hades has yet to reveal the full nature of his plans," Caprico said, "once the world is settled, the world will be reborn, and the grand magic world will come into exitance."

"You talk too much," Gray said, "all I care about is you coming into my friend's house and acting like you own the place."

"Grimoire hearts mission is to find Lord Zeref and bring him to Master Hades," Capric smiled, "however the Seven kin has another mission to find and destroy the wizard team known as Fairy tail."

"So, you want to fight us, huh," Gray said, "then come on."

"No," Loke said, getting in front of him

"What are you doing," Lucy asked

"Covering your retreat," Loke told her, "Since he's one of the Seven kin, that means that there are six more baddies on the Island," Loke said, "and there all after fairy tail, you're going to need to back them up."

"And leave you here to fight this guy by yourself," Gray asked, "the four of us have barely put a dent on this guy."

"that's because of his magic," Loke said. "Human Subordination Magic, or rulers magic," Loke said "it's an ancient magic that affects any human in the area," he said as he transformed into his usual appearance. "Fortunately, Celestial spirits aren't affected by it, so you should be glad that I'm here" he then glared at Caprico, "and I'm guessing you already figured this out, but he's also a celestial spirit, Capricorn the sea-goat."

"What," Gray and Cana said as a look of horror grew on Lucy's face partly because Loke again had to fight another Celestial spirit but because of the name

"Capricorn," Lucy muttered. "Loke," Lucy said, "you can't expect me to."

"don't worry, beautiful," Like said, "I can handle this" he then turned to Caprico, "so how about sea-goat want to go hand to hand with a superior fighter."

"I accept," Caprico said without hesitation "honestly, Leo, I was beginning to wonder if you even remembered you were a celestial spirit.

"Then we need to go," Gray said, holding Lucy's shoulder. He didn't know why but he felt Loke was more worried about Lucy being near him than anyone else. He used his power to cross the gate, but if he wanted them to leave, it had to be something else "well, just get in his way."

"I know, but" Lucy looked at Loke as she turned to run. "Loke, promise me you'll come back safely," she screamed, "promise me."

"Lucy," Gray called

"I know that name," Caprico muttered as Loke looked at him.

[##destruction of the evil wind##]

"You have bigger issues to worry about" he then lunged forward, punching Caprico through the wall as he landed; Caprico managed to kick in the gut "how long have you been out of the celestial spirit world."

"Seventeen years," he answered.

"There's no way you've been out that long," Loke shouted, "not without a contract."

"No human controls me," Caprico shouted. "I am the master now come forth {Hero of Rubengard, San Jiao Shin}" a tall and massive man with a very long, dark beard covering the lower part of his face appeared he was wearing a loose, light tunic reaching down to his knees, which is open on the front and has dark stripes flanking its edges and collar. His robe's loose sleeves are tucked inside dark armguards covered in intricately decorated, geometrical light motifs, with each of them bearing a pair of drawings reminiscent of toothed gears.

"what," Loke muttered as San Jiao shin was able to strike him down, "he's not a celestial spirit."

"General San Jiao shin a young anti-government general that led his forces to victory in the Rubengard Civil War in X779." Caprico smiled "he went missing shortly after. in truth; I made him my slave."

"how," Loke asked, "that's barbaric."

"Yet being held on an owner's leash isn't."

"My owner has nothing to do with this"

"I wonder," Caprico started, "which one of them holds it now, Leo" Caprico stopped "was it that blond girl she seemed rather fond of you," he said as the memory played through his head. However, there was something of

'Promise me.'

the way she said it felt familiar, "it can't be."

"Oh no, he figured it out," Loke muttered.

"I should have known," Caprico shouted "you never wanted to face me. You were trying to get her away," he screamed. "Where did you send her" he yelled? "She can't be allowed to live."

"Time to bust out the big guns," Loke said

"The resemblance is uncanny," Caprico growled, "she is her daughter."

"Promise me," the words hung through the air. "Capricorn, please, a lady asked, "please, my dear Capricorn, please come back safely" as she walked forward, Capricorn looked up as the shadow left her face revealing a face similar to Lucy but older."

"Layla Heartfilia"

To be continued

Somewhere on the Island, Kain lad back in the water. "I'm so lost," he muttered, "and my guildmates are nowhere to be found" he shifted "what I'd give for some water right now," he muttered, ignoring the fact he was next to a waterfall, "any kind will do."
