Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to the next chapter of a fairy tail re-told. I hope you all had a great weekend and a few days leading up to this chapter, but enough about that. You're all trying to get to the chapter(most of you probably skipped this), so I'll just get started and stop drawing out this intro. yep, I will stop any second now

Last time on a Fairy tail re-told

Happy: Grimoire heart has invaded Tenrou Island, and Natsu has found the guy from Tenrou Island

Tatsu: I don't know why he's here, but I have to stop him

Happy: don't worry if you already beat him. He should be a walk in the park

Natsu: Umm

Happy: you beat him, right

"Mommy," a little girl's voice called, her blond hair flowing in the wind. It was a younger Lucy. "Mommy," she called, running to the woman. He bent down to pick her up as she smiled.

"Yes, dear"

"I wanna play with Sea-goat," the girl replied, "you said we could see each other today" she smiled.

"I did say that," Layla smiled as she pulled out a key "{open gate of the sea-goat: Capricorn}." Capricorn appeared from the smoke, smiling as an overly excited Lucy greeted him

"Caprico"

"Lady Layla," Capricorn smiled, "and Lady Lucy," he smiled. "I hope the two of you are well."

"It is good to see you. My dear Capricorn," Layla smiled, "I do hope you were not busy."

"of course not," Capricorn responded. "I always look forward to seeing you and your family, my lady," he smiled "besides, I know how much Lady Lucy enjoys meeting your celestial spirits."

moments later, as Lucy listened as Capricorn instructed her on the arts of making good tea as he also told her about the celestial spirit world, Layla sat back watching with a smile thought a dark look came over her face as she looked away "something wrong, my dear" a voice called Layal looked up to see her husband Jude approaching her "scowls don't suit you" he smiled at the though the frown never left her face "please" concern masked his voice " is something wrong."

"No," Layla told him, "Just some bad memories came to mind is all," Layal admitted, "nothing you need to worry about, dear," she said, looking back to Lucy and Capricorn. "She is growing into such a fine young lady."

Jude said nothing but a smile came over his face as he looked to where his daughter was "yes," he said, "she will carry the Heartfilia name proudly."

"And it's essential that you remember that celestial spirits have opinions," Capricorn explained.

"Caprico," Lucy asked as she looked at the tea, "how many of you are there anyway."

"There are many of us," Caprico smiled, "And fear not, we are all friends."

"Really," Lucy asked. Capricorn nodded his head, "one day, I hope I can meet them all."

Lucy stopped as the memory faded from her mind. It was so long ago. Her hands instinctively went to her punch her hand feeling the key that belonged to Capricorn, the key she could never use. "Caprico," Lucy muttered, "how."

"Lucy," Gray's voice called, "we need to keep moving," he said as Lucy said nothing.

"I have to go back," she called as she ran away, hearing Gray and Cana her Lucy wiped the tears away "why" Lucy wondered to herself "is he like Loke," Lucy asked as she ran 'it doesn't matter" Lucy cried 'cause I need to save him, I have to save him."

"I have to save my first spirit."

My first celestial spirit

Loke and Caprio's battle had taken them outside. Lucy ran up to the edge seeing the two. She smiled as Loke looked up in horror. "Lucy," he screamed, "I told you to run," as Caprico smiled, "you need to get far away as possible."

"That makes this easy," Caprico said as he smiled before creating more symbols" come forth {Hunter of Belparaso, Samagui}" he screamed as a height with distinctive, marked facial features, dark eyes, and a scruffy dark beard lining his lower face, without a mustache but complete with a goatee going up against his chin. Attire seems to be mainly composed of fur: he dons a long, coarse leather tunic with fur-lined edges and collar, fur armbands, dark pants, dark shoes with light soles, and fur leg-guards. He also wears a leather helmet with furry edges, with a soft cloth possessing dark edges hanging from it, which covers the sides and back of his head, leaving only his face visible.

"what," Loke muttered, "that's Samagui, a legendary hunter; there are even children's books about him," he said as the man fired his arrows at Lucy. "Lucy."

the ground beneath Lucy fell under as the arrows narrowly missed her head as she appeared in Virgo's arms "princess, are you alright" she asked

"Virgo," Lucy asked

"I crossed the gate of my own accord," she answered. "I hope you don't mind" Lucy shook her head as Virgo looked at her attacker "why is Capricorn here, and why is he attacking us? She landed behind Loke, "big brother. Are you well."?

"Virgo, you need to get Lucy out of here," Loke muttered.

"No, I'm not leaving," Lucy said. "I can't" Lucy stopped. "I have to bring him back,"

"Then you will die," Caprico shouted as he waved his hand "go, Samagui," he called, "kill her."

"Come and get me then," Lucy shouted as Samagui fired more arrows that curved mid-air, going around Loke.

"Virgo, I'm sending you back," she could see the look of concern on Virgo's face "don't worry, Loke's here with me. I'll be fine," she said as Virgo disappeared "{open gate of the archer: Sagittarius}."

"Howdy due, my lady." Sagittarius said as he immediately fired off his bow, managing to hit both the arrows "an archer showdown, huh" he smiled, "this will be fun."

"Another archer," Samagui said

"I don't care," Caprico shouted, "you need to kill that girl."

"I understand, my master," he shouted "anywho my master tells me will meet their end," he called "be it human or animal, they will perish," he shouted as he fired off another shot so fast that smoke started to appear.

"Such skill," Loke muttered

"Yes," Caprico muttered, "that's why I took him"

"I must say I'm impressed," Sagittarius said "however," he then fired a single shot as the arrow started to break apart, striking each one he shot without missing or knocking them off course "you will not harm my lady, so long as I can I hold a bow."

"My prey will fall." Samagui called as he threw several knives in Lucy's direction "no one escapes me" Loke jumped in the way

"Not going to happen," Loke called. "I can handle this, Lucy. You need to leave," he said before he slammed Samagui into a nearby wall forcing him to disappear.

"I told you," Lucy said, "I'm not leaving."

"Then you can die together," Caprico shouted as he summoned multiple knights as they charged.

"Please," Loke muttered as he shined his regulus, destroying all the knights in one strike as Caprico backed up in shock.

"Capricorn," Lucy called, "why are you doing this" Lucy screamed "after my mother," Lucy stopped "after my mom passed away, you should have returned to the celestial spirit world," Lucy called, "when I tried to summon you," Lucy remembered the time after her mother died how hard she tried to summon Capricorn "why."

"So, you were contracted to Layla Heartfilia," Loke said. "Crux told me as much," he said, "and Lucy has your key, so you should be contracted to her" he looked at Capricorn, "so your mind explaining yourself."

"a Taboo," Caprico said, "in our world, every set of magic has its own set of rules" Caprico smiled, "and well, I broke one of those rules, and now I'm a goat." he let out. A long dry laugh "isn't that funny."

on another part of the Island, Natsu was in hot pursuit of the scent of an old foe "he has to be this way," Natsu said, "we need to hurry, Happy."

"Slow down," Happy called, "the ground here is super rugged. You might-" Happy stopped as Natsu slipped down, landing on a leaf rolling down the side of a small hill. "I tried to warn him," Happy muttered as he watched his friend fall.

"Stop this thing," Natsu screamed as soon his motion sickness kicked in. "not good," he muttered. He flew off a cliff landing on the ground. "I'm okay," Natsu said, sitting "yep, totally fine" he looked over to see a still unconscious Zeref "hey, it's" the ground underneath him started to move "what" he jumped out of the was as a tree sprouted forth.

"Hey," Happy called, "where did that tree come from."

"There was a sprouting seed in the soil beneath you," a voice called to Natsu looked around as the voice continued, "the arc of time guided it into the future, and it became this tree" Natsu looked up. seeing Ultear sitting on the tree, she had yet to look at him. "I wonder where your future goes," she said, looking down, a smile coming across her face "we meet again at last, Salamander," she sat back. "I was hoping the time would allow our paths to cross again."

"I feel like I'm going to hear that a lot in the next few hours," Natsu muttered.

"Aye"

Natsu looked up "it is you," he growled. "Zalty," he screamed

"Wait," Happy said, "this is the guy."

"Since when did you become a crossdresser," Natsu asked as Ultear gave a small giggle.

"Oh, you must forgive me," she said as her body transformed, showing Zalty for a second before changing back "this is my true form," she said "you may call me Ultear Milkovich," she said, "I am a member of the Grimoire heart and leader of the Seven kin."

"And you should call me Natsu dragneel. I swear I'm getting sick of all this Salamander crap. Where did that name even come from" he shouted "now, why don't you explain why you're in my master's backyard."

"We seek the black wizard Zeref, of course," Ultear told him

"Wait," Natsu said, looking back, "that's Zeref," Natsu asked, "the reason behind Lullaby, the R system, and Deliroa."

"Yes," Ultear said, "now he is within my grasp."

"No way," Happy muttered. "Zeref should have died a long time ago."

"Who cares," Natsu said, "time for some payback."

"Oh yes, I agree," Ultear said, a small orb coming from her risk. "I to want revenge for your interference on Galuna Island," a wicked smile came over her face, "and this time, I mean business," she shouted.

While trying to reunite with their friends Erza and Juvia, they came across another member of the Seven kin. Both girls backed up as the smell of blood was still fresh in the air as she looked them over. "Juvia Lockser, a former member of phantoms element four, specialty water magic, threat level low" she turned, looking over Erza. "Erza Scarlet, no previous guild affiliation, is currently employed in Mavis Vermillion's services. magic requip, threat level high."

"How am I low threat" Juvia muttered

"Who are you" Erza screamed, ignoring Juvia's current state, "and why are you here."

"I am Meredy of the Seven kin," she replied "no further information required. Just know that I will be the reason you die," she said as she let out her magic power, a dark grin coming over her.

"Get ready, Juvia," Erza said Juvia nodded.

"Juvia should focus, but" her mind immediately flashed to Gray. "My beloved could be fighting right now as well" her face turned red. "Juvia should be by his side, not dealing with whoever this person says she is,"

"Juvia," Erza called

"sorry"

"Magic necessary," Meredy continued reaching out her arm, a small pink symbol appearing. "Maguilty Sense," she whispered as her left eye glowed as swords appeared around her "time to die{Maguilty Sodom}" she screamed as the blades fired at them.

"I can take it," Juvia said "my body is-" she stopped when the blades struck her, she felt the sting of each blade, and with each strike, the pain only got worse as she fell to the ground. "What," she said, "how are you doing this"

"This magic attacks the senses," Meredy muttered "while you may be made of water, your senses remain intact," Meredy explained." you could say these are blades of sensation."

"Damn," Erza muttered, "Juvia, are you okay."

"Juvia is fine," Juvia responded as she looked at Meredy, giving a dark grin.

"we're so close," she whispered. She was no longer talking to Erza and Juvia. "I'm so close, mother. Soon I will see you again."

"you're not making sense," Loke screamed as Caprico finished laughing "what do you mean taboo."

"it's been a while since I took a human appearance," Caprico smiled. "I'll use my human enslavement magic," he screamed as he struck Loke.

"Your magic won't work on me," Loke screamed.

"I know," Caprio's voice came over, but it was different "that's the taboo," it said, "if you try to use Human enslavement magic on a non-human, you become with that person."

"Wait, so you're saying," Loke muttered, "that you're a human" Loke looked around. He couldn't see Lucy anymore "damn it," he screamed.

"Your body is my next conquest, Leo."

"Not going to happen," Loke screamed as he burst free, lunging forward, landing a hit on Caprico, sending him to the ground.

"I'm afraid you are a bit too late."

"Loke," Lucy said

"Leo, are you alright," Sagittarius asked before a beam of light struck him. Leo looked around. His skin had turned purple as he gave Sagittarius an evil eye "what, no, you're not Leo," he said, "my lady, you need to run"

"Loke," Lucy screamed, "what are you doing."

"What do ya know," Loke said, "finally, I have a human body again," he said. He looked down at Caprico, "I won't miss you, goat man," he said, "but thank you for getting me this far. Now I'm the leader of the Zodiac, and lady Lucy is my master."

"That voice," Lucy muttered, "it couldn't be" Lucy backed up in fear

"Now all I have to do is kill you," Loke muttered, "and then I'll have my body back," he said "master," he told her with an evil grin on his face, "or maybe I could use my enslavement magic," he said, "yes that sounds fun."

"Stay back" Lucy reached for her keys, only for Loke to kick her down, knocking the bag away.

"What could you do," he said, "the only spirit you have that could match me was," he stopped, "oh yeah, that annoying fish lady," he said, "but there's not a body of water in sight," he smiled "goodbye lady-" he stopped when he felt someone punch him the back a purple light reaching out "what."

"I believe Regulus has reached its Zenith," Caprico said "you seem to have forgotten I am here," he said, "and as long as I live, no harm will come to lady Lucy."

"Capricorn," Lucy muttered

"Stay back, my lady," Capricorn shouted

"of course," Lucy said, "you know I never really liked you" a memory flashed in Lucy's mind a man standing next to her mother. He had a ghastly appearance. Puffy hair is kept back by a headband adorning cross designs by the sides with blue trim. He has scars on both sides of his cheeks and dark bags under his eyes. He was in what appeared to be a long white robe with oversized sleeves. A design similar to that on his headband can be seen on the robes' wrist area. He layers the robe with a long purple waistcoat with black trim and a golden collar; a violet-colored cloth can be seen inside. He also wears sizeable baggy violet pants. "You were creepy and unnerving, and I was glad you were gone."

"Zoldeo," she said, "now get out of my Friend," she shouted

"No," he said, "how," he screamed as black smoke came from Loke as the Zoldeo appeared from it, screaming in pain as he landed on the ground, "don't you dare say my name."

"Thank you, Capricorn," Loke, now back to normal, said

"I apologize, sir," Capricorn said as he helped Loke to the ground. "I didn't want to use excessive force."

"it's alright," Loke muttered "you had to go all out to separate us," he said as Lucy sat up "you okay."

"Yeah," Lucy muttered

"How," Zoldeo asked, "how."

"The last attack," Capricorn said, "Sir Leo transferred his magic power over to me," he said, "Regulus, also known as the light of the king."

"What," Zoldeo said, "that last attack was a transfer of magic," he screamed "who cares? I-" he stopped when his body started to glow "no, what's happening," he said, "my body is turning to dust." he looked at Lucy who had since grown a look of resentment on her face as she turned away "please Lady Lucy" he screamed "please help me," he said

"Goodbye, Zoldeo" was all she said as Zoldeo vanished from sight; she looked at Loke and Capricorn and smiled.

"Lady Lucy," Capricorn said, "it is a pleasure to see your smile again."

"If I had known," Lucy started.

"Please, there was no way you could have known, nor was there anything you could do," Capricorn said. He looked down. " It was around the time Lady Layla grew ill," he said, getting Lucy's attention, "she had to retire as a wizard. As such, she sent her spirits Aquarius, Cancer, and me to her servants," he said, "the main purpose was so they could watch over us and if you decided to follow the path of magic to be given to you."

"Yeah," Lucy said, "that's how I got Cancer."

"However," Capricorn said, "Your Mother and I formed another contract," he said

Flashback

"Yes," Layla said, "I Understand, Capricorn" she looked away, "but are you sure you want to do this."

"Yes, my lady," Capricorn said, "should Lady Lucy or any of her decedents follow the path of magic."

"You will guide them along that path."

it was hours later. He stood in front of Zoldeo, a look of anger on his face as Capricorn stood before him "get off my way, you shitty goat," he screamed, "don't you get it, I can save lady Layla," he shouted

"You don't wish to save her," Capricorn called "you only want to enslave her," he screamed as dark magic came over him

"don't you get it," Zoldeo said. "I am your master now," he said, "and you have to do what I say."

"Human enslavement magic," Capricorn said, "wait don't" soon, Caprico found himself being possessed, his body transforming and merging with Zoldeo.

"No," the key fell from him, rattling on the ground as Capricorn screamed as someone came in. He jumped out the window, running away. The person looked around, shining the light around. They noticed nothing leaving the room. It would be a few more hours before a young Lucy would pass by the key catching her attention. As she picked it up, a smile came over her face.

"Caprico"

End Flashback

"Capricorn," Lucy muttered, "I'm so sorry."

"it's alright," Capricorn said. "After that, we were found by master Hades" he explained, "and Zoldeo figured that the grand magic world would allow him to save your mother" a scowl grew on his face, "he wanted to do no such thing. That man simply wanted to enslave her."

"Capricorn," Lucy said, "so now that you have your freedom back," Lucy said, looking at the spirit, "will you form a contract with me," she said, "will you become my spirit like you were my mothers."

"I'm afraid I can't do that, my lady," Capricorn said. "I'm sorry," he said before bowing in front of her.

"What," Loke said, "why not"

"Loke," Lucy said

"Lucy loves her spirits," he said, anger was in his face as he glared at Capricorn, "and you were her mother's spirit; I thought you promised to guide her."

Capricorn said nothing as a smile formed on his face. "Lady Lucy do you remember the time I showed you to form a contract," he said. Lucy nodded before a realization came over her "every time you tried to summon me to your side, I felt it," he answered "there is no need for me to offer my strength to you, for my power is already at your hands" he smiled as tears began to form in her eyes "and know that if you ever need me," he said, "know that I will always be ready to come and assist you."

"Capricorn," Lucy said as tears formed in her eyes.

Capricorn stood up, "you have grown into such a powerful wizard, my lady, and I'm sure your mother would be proud."

"Yeah," Lucy said, wiping her tears, "I'm sure she would be, thank you," she said

"My dear Capricorn."

"I'm taking you down," Natsu screamed as he rushed Ultear, jumping up as she waved her hand, sending the spear to knock him to the ground "damn it."

"I wonder," Ultear said, "who will win," she smiled, "the time witch or the dragon slayer" she let out a laugh, "what does the future hold."

"Natsu" Happy screamed as Natsu jumped away.

"I'm alright, little buddy," Natsu called "{Fire dragon: roar}" Ultear jumped out the way before returning the tree to the state before he burned it.

"isn't arc of time beautiful," she said "the tree is now back to where it was before. "I hope you don't think besting Zancrow means anything," she said as she created several orbs "as each one of these future compresses, you will meet your end."

"You sure love talking," Natsu said as he kicked it away, but it reformed, "but I'm taking you down. He then lunged up, dodging the orb trying to hit her; I hope you didn't think I forgot that your magic doesn't work on organic things.

"I'll admit I did." Ultear smiled "however, I wouldn't be pleased if this is easy."

"Then I hope you're ready," Natsu muttered. "Cause I'm getting all fired up."

in the remains of the base camp, Levy had since given both Mira and Gajeel medical treatment "there breathing," she said, "but the fact there were able to take down both Mira and Gajeel" her mind went back to Mira's words to her "you can tell her that yourself" Levy whispered she heard something come from the bushes she turned to see Elfman who was also severely injured rubble coming from his chest as he held an equally damaged Evergreen

"No," he said, "they got here too," Levy said nothing. She just nodded "what kind of man am I" he muttered, tears coming from his face. "I couldn't protect my partner, nor my big sister," he said, falling to the ground. "Grimoire heart," he muttered, "they're too strong," he said

"Elfman," Levy said, tears in her eyes. "Mavis," she muttered, "where are you."

In the woods, Mavis came too again. She looked over to see Wendy was using her healing magic on her. What surprised her was that she was feeling the effects of it. 'I only recently taught her how to work around black magic, and she used that knowledge to find a way to heal me' Mavis felt a smile on her face. "I must say, child, you never cease to amaze."

"Master Mavis," Wendy said, "are you okay."

"Feeling a little better," Mavis admitted. "Your magic is helping me along," she said. A thought came over her head "you know, my dear," Mavis muttered, "there's no need to call me master. We aren't in a guild."

"I know," Wendy said, "but you teach me lots of things," she said, "and sometimes your lessons remind me of my time in Cait shelter" she smiled at the memory of her friends and her meeting with Carla. It had been a while since she thought of her former guild. "I guess you can say you remind me of what I think a guild master should be."

Mavis let out a pained laugh as she looked into the sky. "I don't think I would fit that description," Mavis admitted

"I wouldn't mind being in a guild you ran," Wendy admitted, "me Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Gray, Happy, Carla, Lily, even Gajeel and Juvia." she smiled at the thought "could you imagine it."

"I can see the headaches you kids would give me," Mavis said, "but it would be nice."

"Yeah, think of all the adventures we would go on," Wendy said, giving her a warm smile behind her Carla and Lily smiled at the scene.

"Yeah, it would probably be a pretty fun place."

Lucy ran through the forest she needed to find Cana and Gray, and quickly she stopped when she bumped into someone "oh no, not again."

"Lucy," a voice called. She looked up to see Cana standing over here" are you okay."

"Yeah, I'm fine," she said

"where's Loke," she asked

"Well, you see," Lucy started but was interrupted when she paused, a look of horror coming over her.

"what's wrong," Cana asked as she turned around, seeing Kain standing over her with an angry look as he stared the two girls down.

"Oh," was Cana was able to mutter

the battle for Tenrou Island continues as Grimoire heart's seven kin manage to put our heroes to the test. Will they be able to find victory, or will they succumb to the ever-growing darkness of the Island

Happy: we need a new special attack

Natsu: a what

Happy: a new attack, think about it

Natsu: I think we have enough
