Lucy: we managed to beat another member of the seven kin
Cana: Nice going, Lu, man. I wish I could have seen that freaks face when you beat him
Lucy: about that
Cana: what
Kain towered over Lucy and Cana as the pair looked at him. Fear laced in their eyes as they backed up "hey Cana," she asked, "where's Gray."
"He went ahead," Cana admitted, "said he would find the others."
"Oh, okay," Lucy muttered as Kain slammed his foot into the ground. The two girls let out a scream as they jumped to the side.
"you two done," he said, "cause you both about to die."
Best partner
"Come at us with your best shot then," Lucy shouted
"don't you know who I am," Kain said. "I'm Kain Hikaru," he was now behind a tree, confusing both Lucy and Cana, "of the deadly Seven kin of purgatory; you should be trembling in your boots and stuff." he said, "but first," he said, taking in a deep breath "I feel something fuzzy on my head do you see anything."
"Your hair," Kain smiled while making a strange noise "great, another weirdo," Lucy moaned as Kain pulled something out. It was a small stuffed doll composed of a canvas. It possesses a stylized, humanoid figure, with bare arms and legs ending in dark ends where hands and feet are supposed to be, a thin chest, and an elongated head, which is quite large.
"Now face my witching hour curse magic," he said "you should have run while you had the chance" as he pulled out a small doll "now gaze in fear at Mr. Cursey, he said, "now before I begin," he stopped "can I have some of your hair," he asked.
"What," Lucy asked
"it's important for my magic," Kain said, "one strand of hair and you become pudding in my hands" Kain smiled "mmm pudding," Kain muttered.
"Then why would I give it to you" Cana screamed, hugging Lucy
"Besides, we all know voodoo is not real," Lucy said, "you can't scare me with a bluff doughboy."
"that's not his name," Kain said "you don't have to be rude, lady. I told you it's Mr. Cursey."
"No, I was saying that you're bluffing," Lucy shouted as she continued to back up."
"Lucy, maybe we shouldn't provoke him," Cana muttered
"What, are you calling me a liar cause that's even worse" Kain then reached for his head before pulling a small strand out of his head "fine, then give it a try for yourself."
"what"
"Go ahead," he said, handing Lucy the doll as she looked it over "you just stick some bristle into his head like so," he said as he stuck his hair into Mr. Cursey.
"let's hope he doesn't breed," Cana muttered.
"There," he said as Lucy looked over the doll, "feel free to apologize to me anytime now," he said, "and some hugs and kisses would be excellent too, and maybe some foo-" he stopped when Lucy slammed him on the ground using the doll letting out a laugh "hey," he said, "stop, it's my turn now."
"Breakdance spin, some yoga" Lucy started laughing. "Cana, you have to try this."
"Please stop, give me back, Mr. Cursey," he screamed
"what's the rush," Lucy asked, "We still have tons of embarrassing poses we haven't tried out yet."
"Yeah, baby"
"Like that"
"Work it"
"What am I watching" Cana muttered
"You not supposed to enjoy it," Lucy shouted
"Ya know what" using this chance, Kain snatched back Mr. Cursey from Lucy, "you made me angry, ya big bully; I don't wanna play with you anymore," he shouted, "time for a nonstop ride on the Kain pain train," Kain shouted, "chu-chu," he shouted as he charged forward, destroying trees and rocks that got in his path.
"You just had to piss him off, didn't you" Cana screamed as she and Lucy ran away from Kain.
"You and Gray had to split up," she screamed.
"We can take the guy," Cana shouted as she turned around "take this {reverse lighting}" she screamed as Kain brushed off the lighting attack.
"Does that spell ever work" Lucy shouted
"You got a better idea," Cana called back
"Fine then {open gate of the golden bull: Taurus}" Lucy screamed "fight big and creepy with big and creepy," she shouted as Kain stopped and blocked the Axe.
"Listen here," he said, "the only bovine plowing Miss Lucy's pasture is the one in front of you," Taurus said as Kain looked him up and down.
"Wow," Kain said, "a cow swinging an ax, mind if I cook ya."
"No," Taurus shouted as he swung again.
"Then get lost," Kain shouted as he punched Taurus away
"How did he get the drop on you" Lucy screamed as Kain started chasing them again
"What was that about spells not working" Cana screamed
"Shut up," Lucy shouted, "how was I supposed to know he was light on his feet."
a light bulb went off in Cana's head "that's it," she turned around, "we aim for his stubby little legs" she through some of her cards at him which turned it small arrows as Kain jumped up, managing to kick them back at her "oh come on" Cana screamed as she ducked down
"Fine then {open gate of the scorpion: Scorpio}." Lucy summoned Scorpio, who popped up with a smile on his face
"Hey Lucy," he said, "let's make this quick me and Aquarius are on our Island adventure" he smiled "wicked" he bent down as Cana muttered something about a she-beast "{Sand buster}" he shouted as Kain blocked his attacks
"Hey," Kain shouted, "no need to brag about your girlfriend to my face," Kain shouted as he punched through the attack sending the group sky high "getaway" he screamed before letting out a sneeze sending a large piece of snot to the ground
"That's wicked, Natsy," Scorpio muttered
"Oh, come on," Lucy screamed "what are we going to do," Lucy asked as Kain attacked them again, sending them through the trees.
"Yo Lucy," Scorpio called, "since my sands worth squat against this guy, Ima head back to my Bahama momma cool," he said before vanishing.
"Not cool at all," Lucy shouted
"We are dead," Cana muttered
"Now, Mr. Cursey," Kain said, "turn me into the light so we may win," he said as the doll started to glow. He kicked Lucy and Cana, sending them to the ground. "You made the mistake of underestimating me," Kain said "however, I didn't underestimate you," he said, "I am a member of the Seven kin, and don't you forget it."
"We don't stand a chance against this guy," Lucy said
Natsu fell back as he felt another attack "damn," Natsu said as he stood up, "Wendy's not going to be Happy."
"You say that like you have a chance," Ultear said. "I hope you realize I'm not going all out right now" she gave a wicked grin. "I still owe you for Galuna Island, and I plan to pay that debt."
"Talk all you want," Natsu said. "I'm taking you down."
"Good," Ultear said. "I would be disappointed if you didn't," she said, "now come peer into the abyss of sorcery."
Kain continued his trek towards Lucy and Cana as the two girls started to back up in fear "as Lucy pulled out another key {open gate of the giant crab: Cancer}."
"Wow," Kain said. "Crab," he smiled.
"Hey babe," he then looked at Lucy, "you never call, you never write," he looked at her over, "and you're up for a major due."
"We don't have time for that," Lucy said " I need you to take him," she said, pointing to Kain, who had got a pot and was boiling water to eat.
"Sorry, babe," Cancer 'I fear pots and boiling water."
"Well, get over it and give him a haircut that is so embarrassing that he runs away in shame," Lucy said as Cancer attacked, destroying his scissors.
"What," he said, "how did you wear down my babies, babe."
"My hair hasn't seen shampoo since the stone age," Kain said
"that's not something to be proud of, man," Cancer said
"Now get lost cause I'm hungry," he screamed as he knocked Cancer away before looking back at Cana and Lucy "now you better get some food before I get angry and choose violence."
"Take this," Lucy shouted, "{open gate of the ram: Aries"}
"I'll do my best."
"You better have food," Kain shouted.
"Sorry," Aries started, "I wish I could satisfy you" Aries began to
"Wait," Kain asked, coming to a stop, "why are you apologizing," he asked
"you're hungry," Aries started to, "and I can't help you," Aries said as Lucy and Cana looked on with confusion as Aries began to cry and run away. "I'm so sorry," she screamed
"Wait," Kain called, "don't cry," he said, suddenly appearing in a slimmer appearance to Aries
"My darling," Kain started, "I hate to see you cry, don't you know how much I love you."
"You do" Aries asked
"of course," Kian responded
"Will you hold me in your big arms," she asked
"of course,"
"Okay, my love," Aries said as she ran to Kain
"Oh, Aries, thank you for filling my life with such woolly love," Kain said, stars in his eyes.
"I know we just met," Aries started, "but I love you," Aries said before she landed an attack "{wool bomb}" Aries called, trapping Kain in a mountain of wool. "I hope I served you well, Miss Lucy."
"Yeah," Lucy said, still in shock from what just happened
"What did I just watch," Cana asked.
"I didn't know you were such an actress," Lucy said, "who taught you that."
"Oh, it was Leo," Aries said
"Turn on the waterworks. It'll make men Pudding in your hands" Loke's voice rang through her head "it'll make you an asset to Lucy."
"Remind me to talk to him."
"Why Aries," Kain's voice came through the wool wall as he burst out, "why do you break my heart? he screamed
"Oh no," Aries said as Kain struck her away, "I'm sorry, miss Lucy."

"This is bad," Lucy muttered. "Got any ideas," Lucy asked
"Nah, I'm on empty." Cana muttered, "what are we going to do."
"Die," Kain said, slamming the ground smiled as Lucy froze where she stood. "Now I have your hair," he said, "now it's payback time," as he started making Lucy to all sorts of poses."
"Oh no," Lucy screamed. "Cana do something," she cried,
"Hold on, Lucy," Cana called, only for Lucy to attack her "what" she dodged, but Lucy was able to get her in a chokehold. "I never knew you were this strong," Cana muttered
"It must be his doll."
"This just a taste of witching hour curse magic," Kain said "your future is looking very dark indeed " he then forced Lucy to throw Cana away, "as soon as I'm done, there won't be any leftovers." he then kicked them sending them into the forest.
Natsu and Ultear stood on opposite sides of each both seemed to be a little out of breath. "I won't let you win this," he growled as he got ready to attack again. He didn't notice Lucy and Cana fall to the ground in front of him, so when he jumped and kicked, he kicked Kain away, sending him next to Ultear, who was just as shocked as Natsu landed "what."
"Natsu" both girls screamed
"What," Natsu said, "when did you two get here."
"You didn't notice them get a face full of dirt," Happy said, "it was hilarious."
"I'll give you a face full of dirt, feline," Lucy screamed
"Kain," Ultear said, "what are you doing."
"I was fighting those's two," he explained. "I almost finished them off."
"you two need to get back," Natsu said suddenly "these guys are bad news."
"Natsu's struggling against one of them" Happy, "there's no way you could take both of them on."
"Wait," Kain said before glaring at Natsu, "we meet at last, Salamander," he called. "I heard Zancrow practicing that in the mirror and figured you must be important."
"What do ya know, Natsu? You were right," Happy muttered, "you will be hearing that a lot today."
"Oh really," Ultear said, a smile coming over her face, "as much as I want to settle the score, even I know that you won't give it, you're all with your friends nearby" an evil grin came over her face. "Kain, will you take care of this."
"of course, I will," Kain said. "I'll show these fairies why they shouldn't mess with the Kain train."
"Good, I will bring lord Zeref to master Hades," Ultear said as she turned to leave "oh, and Kain," she said, getting the man's attention, "would you be a sweetheart and bring me the dragon slayer alive."
"Salamander" Kain asked
"Yes," she said, "you are free, however, to decorate the Island with the entrails of the other two" she gave a wicked grin at Natsu, "if you make him watch, all the better."
"Worry not, boss," he said, "there won't be bodies left to bury."
"Oh yeah," Natsu shouted as he charged Kain, "take this" Kain ducked under before landing a hit on Natsu's stomach, sending him into a wall. The rubble fell on him, trapping him "you bastard," Natsu screamed.
"He took out Natsu with one hit," Happy said in fear
"Goods are nice and ready," Kain said "now," he turned to face Lucy Cana and Happy, "where were we" he then pulled out Mr. Cursey and started to make Lucy pose again
"Not again"
"Yeah, revenge is a dish best served cold." As he then used Lucy to attack Cana, who jumped out the way, Kain said, "work those moves, girl."
"Death curse magic," Happy said
"Wait, you know what this is" Cana asked
"Aye," Happy said, "it's like the Lullaby flute; in the right hands, it's super dangerous" a smirk came over Happy face "however, like all holder types, it has one weakness," as Kain was distracted, Happy swooped in. "if you take away the source of magic, they can't use it then it'll turn into a straight brawl."
"Hey, give that back," Kain shouted, "why does everything I love run away from me."
"Alright, Happy," Natsu called, still trying to break free
"Now what" Cana called
"Give it back," Kain screamed as he punched Happy and Cana, making Lucy land right in front of Natsu.
"Lucy," Natsu screamed, "you need to grab Cana and Happy and run," he shouted as Kain walked up to her "get away from her"
"Lucy," Cana tried to get up, but she felt her legs give out next to her, "summon a spirit, Lucy."
"I think I'm out of magic," Lucy muttered

"don't worry about me," Natsu continued "keep running and don't look back."
"Natsu," Cana muttered as she watched her friend struggle in the rocks
"No," Lucy said, shocking him. "I'm not leaving you," she said as she forced herself to stand up "you always give it your all," Lucy said "well, for once," she said, "you're going to stay behind me while I protect you."
"Lucy," Natsu muttered.
"Even if this is the end," she turned and smiled at him, "I'd rather stay with you," she said, "there's nothing that would make me happier."
"that's some way to say goodbye," Kain muttered as he approached her.
"she's right," Cana said, standing up again, "we're not afraid of this guy." as she pulled out three more cards, "we will stand with you, Natsu," she said. "I'm not running away from this," she said "you're my friend, and if you can't take the big bad down, then we will" her body started to glow as her cards turned into a golden light "take this" Cana shouted as she threw the cards Kain moved out of the way.
"You missed," he shouted as Cana started to fall again
"wasn't," Cana muttered, "aiming for you."
"Huh," Lucy muttered as the cards hit her, but she didn't fly back or take any damage "what."
"I gave Lucy my magic power," Cana muttered "go get him," she said, falling back Natsu's words from earlier coming to her mind 'even if I don't become a child of magnolia. I know what I mean to the people. She smiled, 'and the hardest part is admitting when you need help."
"What did you" he stopped when he felt Lucy summon her magic "what."

"{open gate of the sea-goat: Capricorn}," Lucy screamed. A golden light shined as she started to fall back as Capricorn appeared, catching her as she fell
"Lady Lucy," Capricorn muttered. He shot Kain a death glare "you summoned me."
"Time, we make good on that promise" Lucy smiled "what do you say."
"With pleasure," Capricorn said before he charged at Kain landing several hits on him, forcing him back.
"What is the meaning of this, Caprico" Kain shouted as he blocked Capricorn's attacks, tears in his eyes, "I thought we were friends."
"I am no longer under Zoldeo's control," Capricorn told him. "thanks to the work of lady Lucy and Sir Leo, I have returned to her side as her celestial spirit and friend Capricorn" he landed a devastating punch on his stomach, forcing him back.
"Woah," Happy said in shock, "when did she get this guy."
"You got me there," Cana said, "we were fighting him earlier, but this is new."
"Why," Kain said, "we were friends, and now you're betraying me," he cried
"I'm sorry, Kain," Capricorn said as he uppercuts him before kicking him away, "but you are a threat to my wizard, and that will not do" the kick created a large shockwave sending Kain into the trees, knocking him out as Capricorn stood, he looked over to Lucy as Kain fell over a smile coming over his face
"I've had enough," Kain muttered. "I'm full."
"You look like you enjoyed that," Lucy muttered as she looked at Capricorn
"Maybe a little" was all Capricorn said as he lifted one of the rocks that were trapping Natsu, allowing him to stand up, he looked up at Lucy
"Hey, Lucy," Natsu started, with a light blush on his face "thanks."
"No problem," Lucy said "aren't I a great partner or what," she said, smiling at him.
"Lucy," Natsu muttered as he looked at Cana
"you're the best partner."
