Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to the next chapter of a fairy tail re-told, and we are in full swing as the ending half of the war between the seven kin, and fairy tail goes on. Will, our heroes, be able to conquer these powerful foes, or will they be forced to surrender to the darkness that is the Seven kin of Purgatory? The battle continues.
Last time on a fairy tail re-told
Natsu: we were on the way to picking a new child of Magnolia
Happy: then we found Zeref, and the scary Grimore heart guild attacked us
Carla: we can never catch a break. Can we
Natsu: looks like it; the magi council is also breathing down our necks
Happy: then we have to show them why we don't be pushed around anymore
"Look, Cana," Natsu whispered in her ear. "I can't beat this guy," he admitted getting a shocked look from the girl, "but I know a way we can" he smiled at her. "I need you to trust me on this" those words rang through Cana's head as she stared at the back of Gildarts, her father and the strongest wizard in all of Magnolia. A tear formed on her face as everyone smiled, a sense of relief coming over them.
"So," Bluenote muttered, "you are the legendary Gildart's" Bluenote smiled. "I have heard tales of your exploits and had hoped we would like one day clash."
"I knew if we created a large enough burst of magic power," Natsu said, trying to stand up, "the old man would come running."
"Natsu," Gildarts said, his voice gruff and extremely low, "you need to get the others and get back to camp," he said, not moving from where she stood, his enormous magic power starting to leak out.
The gift of the fairies
"I don't. I've ever seen Gildarts like this," Happy muttered. He had known the man his entire life, and he had never seen him look so angry. he always had a calming smile. He could tell that he was mad. next to him, Carla was frozen in fear could only nod as Lucy and Wendy started to stand
"I can handle this," Gildarts shouted, "now go."
[##skilled magic battle##]
Gildarts rushed forward as Bluenote lifted the ground beneath him Gildarts smiled as he destroyed the ground sending the blocks towards Bluenote. He created a forcefield around himself, sending them away as he jumped, meeting Gildarts punch with his fist sending everyone around flying away "all of that from a single punch," Natsu screamed.
"Ya know, I'm surprised I have -oh, there it is" Cana fell over her knees, feeling like jelly as she was caught by Natsu, who smiled at her "you knew, didn't you," she asked. Natsu looked at her confused for a moment before smiling. "that's why you had me do it," she said
"I had you do it because I trusted you," Natsu said, "and I knew you had the strength to pull it off. if I had tried, he would have just stopped me," he smiled, "so it had to be someone else, and I figured I'd prove to you just how strong you are"
"Thank you," she said
"Cana," Lucy called, "are you okay."
"I'll get there," Cana admitted
"I'm scared," Wendy muttered
"We need to get moving," Natsu told them. He bent down, picking up Mavis again. He looked at Gildarts, who had since kept Bluenote far away from them, his jacket gone. The man had yet to look back, but Natsu knew he was trying by time tell they could get away.
"he's right," Cana said, using Lucy for support. "Gildarts can handle it," she frowned "if we stay, we'll just get in his way." the group turned to leave as Cana looked back. A sense of pride came over her, and her mouth moved before she could think why. "Gildarts," she called, catching the man's attention, "kick his ass," she called, "show him why you're the best," hearing the Gildarts smiled as she turned to run, still leaning on Lucy.
"You got it, kid," he turned to face Bluenote again "you and your friends have a lot of nerve," Gildarts growled "you come to my master's home, hurt my friends" veins started to pop out of his head as bluenote smiled "I guess it's time I knock you down a peg."
Natsu's group had sense made it back to trying to reach camp, the snow slowing them down, but they were making good progress. "I can't believe you, Natsu," Cana muttered, catching the man's attention "how could you think I didn't trust you" this got a laugh from Natsu.
"don't take it personally," Natsu admitted, "it was a tense situation," Natsu said, "and I wouldn't have blamed you."
"I thought I told you to stop bringing that up," Cana said, "I don't hold what you did against you," she said. "I'm no better," she admitted 'I can't even look my dad in the eye and tell him who I am." Natsu said nothing as he continued to walk "so could we drop that chapter from our lives," she asked, "it's time we all did."
"Am I missing something here," Lucy asked
"I don't know," Wendy told her "
Natsu and Cana let out a laugh confusing everyone there, save for Happy, who rubbed his head, gripping her arm, "man," she said, "how long is this going to last again." the spell had severely burned her arm. She could see the remains of the mark that appeared that allowed her to use fairy glitter, and if it weren't for the cold air, the burning feeling she had would be even worse, so thank goodness for snow, she reasoned.
"I can heal that for you, Cana," Wendy cut in, but Cana shook her head
"let's wait till we get to camp, kid."
"Until you leave the Island," Natsu said, finally speaking, "other than that, there should be no long-term side effects you'll notice"
"Why not just use fairy law," Lucy asked, "it probably would've taken him down."
"Too dangerous," Natsu said, glancing at Mavis "fairy law is a last resort if anyone other than Mavis or a child of magnolia has to use it," Natsu said
"Why," Wendy asked
"Magic always has a price Wendy," Natsu said, glancing at Mavis "remember that"

In the camp's ruins, Levy and Lily faced off against Rustyrose, who smiled as he approached the pair "a girl and a cat are all that's protecting the medical camp," Rustyrose let out a laugh. "I half expected to find a fairy here, but it looks like they're all out now," he smiled. "So, surrender peacefully, and I promise to make your deaths quick."
"As if," Levy said, "I may not be strong," she said, "but I won't let you hurt anymore of my friends," she said, standing in front of the tent, "you think you're strong, but you only pray on the week."
"We are simply helping nature take its course," Rustyrose said, "wizards such as these wouldn't last in the grand magic world, so we're simply speeding up their inevitable demise." he laughed, "you ask me we're being merciful preventing them from what horrors that may await them in the grand magic world."
"I won't let you," Lily shouted, "you think you can build a perfect world on the deaths of others," he growled, "the king of edolas use to think as you did, and it ended up destroying his kingdom."
"Then let us test these convictions; please come try to stop me," Rustyrose teased, "but the light you claim to wield is helpless against our growing darkness," he shouted as he turned his arm into a sword before blasting Lily away "you are helpless ants against me" Rustyrose screamed.
"{Solid script: thunder}" Levy screamed as Rustyrose dodged from the side, smiling as he rushed towards Levy kicking. her in the gut before swatting her away
"You should be glad it was me he found you," Rustyrose told them, "Because if Bluenote or Meredy was her, you have long since died. and I dread to think what Azuma would do." he smiled, "but this is the end of drums at the seams " Rustyrose smiled "I will fill the forest with your screams" Rustyrose began a ruthless attack on everyone there forcing both Lily and Levy to the ground.
"he's too much," Levy said
"We can't give up," Lily said, "we have to protect the injured."
"Yes," Rustyrose said
"Soon, you will both fade to memories."
'Big sis'
'You need to wake up.'
'They need you.'
'Mira'
"Lisanna," Mira called as she shot up 'where am I," Mira asked, looking around. She was back in the fairy pub. She could see Natsu talking with Erza and Wendy; Juvia and Gray seemed to be eating together. Lucy was having a brainstorming session with Levy while Happy, Lily, and Carla talked about who knows what 'was it all a dream' Mira thought to herself, 'was I sleeping on the job again.' she looked down, noticing that she was in her old outfit 'wait why am I wearing this.'
"Everything okay, big sis," Mira froze. Looking back, she saw Lisanna standing right behind her, alive here. Before Lisanna could speak again, Mira was already hugging her, squeezing her so tightly that Lisanna let out a gasp of air. "Too tight, sis," she muttered, tapping her on the shoulder. She then heard Mira's whimpers.
"what's wrong."
"I'm sorry," she muttered. "I'm so sorry."
"What are you apologizing for," she said
"It's all my fault," Mira said, "if I never let you and Elfman come with me on that job."
"I don't blame you for that," Lisanna said, "We chose to go."
"But I couldn't protect you," she said. "I'm sorry," she said, "I failed you," she told Lisanna started to disappear "no, don't leave me, please," she cried. "Lisanna!" she cried as her sister vanished from sight as everyone in the room disappeared. Mira was in her regular clothes again. She fell to the ground crying. 'Natsu was able to get his closure,' she said 'of course, he got to see her one more time' Mira thought the letter she had received she had read at least once a night since she got it.
"Man, look at me, I've grown into a wuss" a voice called Mira turned, and she was bewildered.
"Who are you," Mira asked in front of her. She was well but in her old clothes, her hair tied in a ponytail.
"I'm you, ya moron."
"How," Mira asked

"you're passed out," the other Mira said, "you could be dying for all I know, and your conscience is trying to convince you not to," she said "it's weird what the brain will come up with," she looked at Mira again "why are you afraid me."
"Cause you got my sister killed," Mira shouted.
"You mean we," the other Mira said, "we decided to take our family on that job that leads to Elfman taking a full-body take-over, that lead to Lisanna," she stopped, "and ever since then, you look at me like I'm some sort of freak," she shouted.
"I don't," Mira frowned. "I don't want to be that person anymore," Mira. admitted, "I don't want people to."
"Fear you," the other Mira said, "we used to think that," she stopped, "you used to think that having people fear you would stop them from calling us weak."
"I know," Mira said, "but now I don't know what to think anymore."
"Remember what Master Mavis said when we first started teaching us this magic" she smiled, "she said it's not the magic itself that's dark," the other Mira said, "it's what the person does with it." Mira looked at herself, this part of her past that she had since buried deep in her mind. "Elfman and Natsu have started to move on," she smiled, "and it's time we move on to"
"I don't know if I can," Mira admitted
"Well, let's try," the other Mira asked. "I don't want this anymore" she reached her hand out only for Mira to bring her in for a hug, "and the best way to start."
"Is to forgive myself," Mira said as this version of herself merged with her dress turning purple. She smiled, turning around. She saw Lisanna smiling at her before vanishing, turning into a blue mist.
"I love you, sis" the words hung over her as she smiled
"I won't fail again," Mira said, "not now, not ever."
"I promise"
Levy fell as Rustyrose laughed at her struggle "you think you can beat me" Rustyrose shouted, "you are nothing, an ant to my boot," he said, "the only hope you have is to curl into a ball and flee."
"That may be true," Levy said, wiping some blood from her mouth, "but I won't stop," she said as she struggled to her feet. "I will protect my friends." she fell forward, Lily trying to get up next to her. "Mira, Mavis, Natsu, you too, Mystogen," she smiled "you all fight so hard to protect us" she looked at Rustyrose, pure defiance in her eyes as she stood in front of him, "so I won't back down when they need me to be strong as well."
"Then you will die," Rustyrose. "I summon {Sacred Guardian Beast: Belfast the Hurricane}."
"What is that thing" Lily asked
"Your death," Rustyrose shouted before stopping "what" he turned to the medical tent, feeling an enormous growing magic power "there was nothing there a moment ago," he said. The ever-present force started to grow as someone walked forward. Levy and Lily's eyes grew in shock as Mira walked from the tent.
"You have a lot of nerve," Mira muttered "you come to my master's home" the ground started to shake as Mira's power grew. "You hurt my friends and family" her eyes had turned purple as she licked her lips "you are all going to pay," she screamed, her magic consuming her as she transformed into her Satan soul.
"didn't Azuma best you already" Rustyrose muttered "well, I guess I'll finish the job," he said, only for Belfast the Hurricane to be destroyed instantly, making Rustyrose fall to the ground. "What is this"
"you're dealing with the chosen daughter now," Mira muttered. Mira let out a chuckle as Rustyrose backed up in fear"what's the matter," she asked, "weren't you hunting members of fairy tail? Well, congratulations."
"You found their devil."
In the many roots of Tenrou Island, Erza faced off against Azuma "what do you mean you eliminated Wendy."
"Not just her," Azuma bragged, "but many of your friends have met their end on this Island."
"No," Erza said, "there's no way you could have taken down Natsu and Mira," she said
"I can't vouch for this Natsu, but as for the she-devil," Azuma smiled as the memories of the fight played in his mind. "I sent her back to hell myself," he boasted, "and now I wish to see if you are truly as mighty as they say."
Erza growled as she changed into her flame empress armor "you would be wise not to underestimate me," she said
"Trust me," Azuma, "I never underestimate my opponents."
Gray had never expected this when he came here, but a lot had happened "so you're saying you're on our side," he asked. The snow around him didn't help how he was feeling. It brought back memories of his time with Ur and Lyon in the north, their time training in the snow.
Ultear smiled at him "of course," Ultear said, "you are the prized pupil of the great ice wizard Ur, and I am her long-lost daughter were practically siblings."
"Wait, what," Gray asked "sorry, you're going to have to give me a moment to wrap my head around this"
"Well, I said practically," Ultear said, "We share her tutelage" Ultear smiled again.
"And yet you're working with a dark guild," Gray said, "your guild is attacking something significant to a close friend of mine."
"You mean Salamander," Ultear asked "yes, I know of his masters' history with mine," she admitted, which got a confused look from Gray, "and it looks like they dragged you into their war" she smiled. "I never expected us to meet like this."
[##black wizards wicked heart##]
"You may be able to stand now, she-devil," Rustyrose asked, "but let's see how long that bravado lasts this time," he screamed. "I summon the {ghost of brittia}," he called as large black specters surrounded Mira trapping her.
"What is this" Mira asked
"My magic," Rustyrose, "you are helpless against my imagination." he shouted, "quiver in fear."
"Mira" Levy called
"stay back, Levy," Mira called "let me take care of this," she shouted as she let out a burst of energy, making Rustyrose jump back in shock at the sudden amount of power he was witnessing.
"you children of magnolia truly are no pushovers," Rustyrose said. "Azuma praised you as a true warrior" a dark grin grew on his face "now let us see how true he was"
Gildarts and Bluenote's clash created shockwaves as they continued to fight. landing another headbutt on each other as Bluenote smiled. "Finally," Bluenote shouted, "someone worth my attention.
"you're tough," Gildarts said, "but you aren't stopping me."
"is that so," Bluenotes said as he lammed the ground, sending up rubble as Gildarts used his crash magic to destroy everything around him as he rushed in, landing several hits on him as he jumped away "you are stronger than they say, Gildarts Clive," Bluenote said as Gildarts smiled.
"I've heard of you," Gildarts said "bluenote stinger, you were Lieutenant Colonel in the Gohra Army during the Cabria War. you annihilated the entire Blue Dragon Regiment by yourself."
"so you know of me," Bluenote asked.
Gildarts laughed " a little bit," he said, "in my experience, you gotta know all the strong guys around, and you just happen to be one of them," he glared at him, "you picked the wrong Island to invade, buddy."
"is that so," Bluenote asked.
"yes," Gildarts said, "the kids are expecting me to kick your ass, so that's what I got a do" he smiled.
"then come on, then," Bluenote shouted as he got ready to start fighting again "let's see if you can keep me entertained," Bluenote said, a broad smile on his face as he charged in again, their attack bouncing off each other as BLuenote increased the gravity around them Gildarts. who used his magic to destroy the ground underneath him as he went up to Bluenote, punching him in the face and forcing him to slide back
"{All Crush}" Gildarts shouted, creating a small energy blast sending Bluenote into the side of the crater.
"looks like you can fly," Bluenote shouted as he jumped from the wreckage "now you will fill my full force."
"I wondered when you'd get serious," Guildarts shouted as the two landed a headbutt on each other, creating a large shockwave that destroyed the ground underneath them, making it rubble as pebbles hit the ground, the air swirling around them as they punched each other around.
"it's been years," Bluenote thought to himself 'years since I've felt such excitement.
Erza rushed through the roots of the Tenrou tree dodging Azuma's attacks as he manipulated the same roost against her, gripping her and throwing her into a wall.
"{morning star}" Erza screamed, creating a large beam sending Azuma back into a wall.
"You are powerful," Azuma muttered, a smile coming over his face "finally, a worthy opponent, may our battle shake the heavens."
"What are you going on about" Erza asked
"This," he smiles, "you and I are cut from the same cloth, are we not," he said "we both seek power and strong warriors to test our skills against"
"No," Erza shouted, "I just want to protect my friends."
"call it what you will," Azuma said "the fact is you and I," he stopped as he looked up, "we are both warriors, we both want a challenge, we live and breathe the battle" he smiled soon, the ground started to rumble, "my magic allows me to connect with the land, it is the reason I was the first to arrive" Azuma admitted, "as he started to merge with the trees I can take the power of the trees and turn into an explosive force."
"What are you doing" Erza screamed as large explosions sounded from all over "what is this"
[##Prelude to destruction##]
soon the large tree on the Island started to tilt as birds began to flee as; the tree began to fall
"what's going on," Lucy asked
"We need to move" Natsu stopped as he fell over. Cana let out a pained scream clutching her arm.
"Damn it, my arm is on fire," she screamed.
"What is this" Gray asked
Ultear looked away
"Azuma"
"My body," Mira said, falling over "what happened to" Mira stopped as she looked up in horror.
Meredy had come to a stop. Looking up, she saw the tree falling over. "I swear if this ruins my fun, I'm going to be pissed," she muttered.
"Damn it, old man," Bluenote muttered as he watched Gildarts start to keel over, "what insane mission did you have Azuma carry out."
"It took longer than I thought," Hades muttered, "to think they would have someone who could rival Bluenote" Hades smiled, "however it is no matter as the children of Magnolia are now powerless."
"What have you done" Erza shouted, "why are you destroying the tree."
"To remove the children of magnolia permanently," he said, "master Hades knows much about this Island, as such the children of Magnolia magic power are greatly increased by the blessing of Tenrou," he explained, "but by felling the tree, I have not only destroyed their connection with it but took their power for myself."
"What," Erza asked, "they're going to lose all their magic power."
"yes," Azuma said as he stepped, "any that this sacred tree has blessed will soon die due to the sudden loss of magic power" he stood up as roots fell off of him "now all that remains is to kill the rest of you" he smiled "however you stand no chance for I have the power of both the chosen son and the chosen daughter" he smiled "your power is said to rival a wizard saint" he smiled "it's time we put that power to the test wouldn't you agree."
"Damn you," Erza shouted
"Good," Azuma said, "there's the look I wanted"

Grimoire's heart has destroyed the Tenrou tree, effectively draining the children of Magnolia of all their magic power. Erza is now all that stands between Azuma and the destruction of Tenrou Island. Will she be able to take on this mighty foe, or will she too fall to the might of the Invincible Azuma?
