Chapter 367: He's Going to Be Fine…
Naruto sat outside the door, for the past several hours he listened to screaming brother.
Well listened to his brother's screaming… and his father and inner demon occasionally bicker.
Though Naruto tell his father a little more about Ace.
But other than that the two were quiet when they needed to be thankfully. And just knew Naruto needed to be alone at this point… though it was literally impossible for him to be alone…
However not all of them could always be left alone…
Though part of him did hear an explosion and got a weird feeling.
"I sense a hot chick was just made." Said Kyubi.
"What?" asked Naruto.
"Just never mind…" muttered Kyubi.
"What is it with his humor." Said Minato.
"I'll never understand." Muttered Naruto.
Not too long later Ivankov and Bon Clay was walking towards them.
"Oh hey! You're okay!" said Naruto.
"As are you." Said Bon Clay.
"Yeah I was able to get that tranquilizer out of my system pretty quickly." Admitted Naruto.
"But… Luffy?" asked Bon Clay "He's been screaming like this for hours."
"Yeah…" sighed Naruto, "But I've gotten used to it."
Bon Clay looked at Naruto unsure what to say.
"He's my brother…" sighed Naruto, "If he can endure that I can endure his screams."
Bon Clay decided to look thought the hole and he was horrified.
Of course Bon Clay was freaked out by what he was seeing.
Luffy's treatment wasn't pretty after all.
It did requite his body to be torn part in a sense rebuild itself.
It was why Luffy had such a slim chance at living through this after all.
And Bon was freaking out over the site.
Naruto had to girt his teeth as he listened to Bon Clay.
"Bon… shut up." Muttered Naruto.
Bon Clay was shocked by this response.
"Ivankov said that it depended on Luffy's will power!" yelled Naruto, "I know my brother and he has a ton of will power! I know he does! And he will overcome this! So shut up! I know you're our friend but you don't really know Luffy!"
Bon Clay looked at Naruto.
"I'm just worried about him…" whimpered Bon Clay.
"I know…" mumbled Naruto.
"All right…" sighed Bon Clay.
"UI think he needs to be alone…" muttered Ivankov.
Though it was clear that the two were going to talk in private themselves without Naruto hearing.
"You know… I was thinking…. Did Luffy ever become a clone user too?" asked Minato.
"No… he can never make clones…" thought Naruto, "No matter what type of clone he just can't make them… they always turn out dead…"
"Really?" asked Minato who sounded a bit surprised yet also revealed.
"Yeah… it stinks.. it would have been awesome if he ever could… but he just can't." explained Naruto.
"I'm starting to think he's going to be just fine…" said Minato.
"What made you change your mind?" asked Naruto.
"I'll explain another time." Said Minato.
Inside the cage Minato breathed a sigh of relief.
"Tell me… what do you know?" asked Kyubi low enough so that Naruto wouldn't hear.
"It's something about certain people… one in a million people have a special ability… BUT that ability prevents them from ever being a clone user… the clones can't handle the ability and deforms any possible clone…" explained Minato, "If Luffy has that ability then I know he'll live…"
"What are you talking about?" thought Naruto.
"I'll explain another time… I don't want to get your hopes up." Said Minato.
Naruto kept his vigil for a while longer then Bon Clay once again showed up.
Then he began to cheer that Luffy could do it.
Naruto looked at Bon Clay and decided to join in.
"You can do it Luffy! Show them who you are!" yelled Naruto joining in cheering.
"He has a fine crew…" sighed Minato,.
"He's not a member of the crew, he's a weirdo former enemy that they befriended…" explained Kyubi.
"Oh… huh…" said Minato.
"Something tells me you won't be seeing his crew for a long time…" said Kyubi.
They were soon joined by the others who lived there.
For many hours they all cheered him on so that he would get better.
However after so long the screaming stop[ed…
And the door started leaking blood.
"Luffy…" whimpered Naruto.
"Eh… he's fine…" said Kyubi.
"What makes you say that…" muttered Minato.
"Remember..." said Kyubi.
That was when something was banging on the other side of the door…
And then Luffy yelled out "FOOD!"
"I told you…" said Kyubi, ":I can sense if someone's dead or alive…"
And soon enough the people that lived there began to feed him all of the food they could with Naruto telling to give him the biggest food they could spare.
"It's whirlpool!" said one of them.
"Is even chewing because if he's not chewing I'd like to remind everyone that's how a duck eats, not a pig!" said another person.
"Dang it! Someone stole my joke!" cursed Kyubi.
"You have to get used to it…" mentally muttered Naruto.
"I know…" sighed Minato.
After about a half hour of eating Luffy was finally done.
And everyone watched in horror (well… besides Naruto) as he went from balloon belly to perfectly fit.
The people who lived there.
"I think they're be called Newkamas…" pointed out Kyubi.
"Who is he talking to…" said Minato.
"Get used to it…" mentally muttered Naruto once again.
Before they could grab Luffy and celebrate his health Naruto got in-between the two crowd and his brother.
"Celebrate in a bit! I have to talk to my brother privately." said Naruto.
"What?" asked Luffy confused.
Naruto shit the doors and forced Luffy back into the chamber.
"Naruto… what's wrong…" said Luffy.
"A lot happened when we reunited…" said Naruto.
"What?" asked Luffy.
"When you almost decided I was knocked unconscious." Said Naruto, "And when that happened… I decided to try to free Kyubi…"
Luffy's eyes widened when Naruto said that.
"What?" he asked.
Naruto nodded.
"It's true… but someone stopped me…" sighed Naruto, "The 4th Hokage placed something inside the seal in case I ever tried to do that… like a memory or a important…."
"Oh okay…" said Luffy.
Naruto smiled at Luffy reaction.
"Well it turned out if I ate the Biju Biju Fruit and if I ever did it then he wouldn't ever disappear…" sighed Naruto, "SO he's now in my head topo."
"Oh that's really cool! You can teach you stuff!" said Luffy with a big.
"Luffy…" sighed Naruto struggling not to cry as he told his brother this part of the information, "The 4th Hokage… was my dad…"
Luffy blinked for a few second and then yelled out.
"HE'S YOUR WHAT"! yelled Luffy.
Naruto sighed… there was a lot to unpack… even if they still had to save Ace… after all it was best to get this over with.
And hopefully after telling all this they could still save him…
Though with Luffy's recovery there wasn't much time left after all soon would be Ace's prison transfer… and it would be very soon… had that would be the least chance to really save him…
