Chapter 368: Worry About Later!

Luffy was gaping, after all it was something that never crossed his mind… why did the 4th Hokage choose Naruto.

It turned out it was because Naruto was his son…

"Wait! Is that why he chose you?" asked Luffy.

"He didn't want anyone's else to have that burden." Said Naruto.

Luffy nodded.

"I don't remember much of my step dad… but I do remember he was blonde and nice…" said Luffy.

"I guess…" sighed Naruto.

Luffy looked at his half-brother.

"It's hard not to be angry at him…" said Naruto.

"I know…" sighed Luffy.

"I know you're having a moment after Luffy almost died…" said Kyubi, "But you really need to get your butts in gear because of your imposed mission."

Naruto's eyes widened.

They headed back to the tunnel; where everyone was waiting for their conversation to end.

That was when Luffy noticed that Bon Clay was passed on the ground.

"What happened to him?" asked Luffy.

"He spent hours cheering for you." Said Naruto, "Since he doesn't have healing like I do he wore himself out…"

That was when a man who had same colors of that woman (and was that woman… reminder Ivankov's abilities could change gender).

"Here's your hat and clothes…" he said, "You need to rest up for a few days in order to fully recover."

"I can't do that! I have something I need to do." Said Luffy as he got dressed, "Can you take care of Bon? There's something I have to do."

However he then collapsed.

"Luffy!" yelled Naruto.

However he took out the Vivre Card and it was still pointing down.

"It's still point down that's good." Said Naruto.

"What is that?" asked one of the Newkamas.

"It's a Vivre Card." said Ivankov, "Well since you're on your feet and judging from what your little brother's been saying and doing you're going to save your older brother no matter what."

"Yeah! Hey don't you want to break out too? Bon's been wanting to rescue you." Said Luffy, :And you can tell us where Ace is." Said.

"Bon Boy wants to save me?" asked Ivankov surprised, "That's adorable but no thanks…"

"Really why?" asked Naruto.

"The world is changing! There are the marines then are pirates like Whitebeard. But one day there will be a change in the world and when that happens my comrade Dragon, leader of the Revolutionary army will be the one to break me out and I will rejoin the world."

"Oh you mean my dad…" said Luffy.

"Yes your dad…" said Ivankov who really hadn't realized what Luffy had said.

"Wait… Dragon has been doing what…" said Minato.

"He has been leading a repletion from what I've been gathering and he's the most wanted man in the world…" explained Kyubi.

"I don't know how to feel about that…" sighed Minato.

"Wait you know Luffy's dad?" asked Naruto.

"It's complicated between us… that's' al l I will say…" said Minato.

"Did you steal his wife?" asked Kyubi.

"I'd rather not answer…" sighed Minato.

"Seriously?" asked Naruto.

"I'm. just leaving it as complicated and don't ask again anytime soon." Said Mineta.

Naruto sighed knowing it would probably be a long time until he got that story.

"YOUR DAD!" yelled Ivankov freaking out after finally realizing what Luffy had just said.

"Yeah… Grandpa told me that he was my dad… but maybe I shouldn't have said that…" said Luffy, "IU don't even know what he looks like."

Ivankov looked at Naruto.

"We had different dads… mine… was someone else and he died a long time ago…" muttered Naruto.

"Where are the two of you from?" asked Ivankov.

"The east blue…" they both answered.

He looked at them… and realized that they must be telling the truth due to a conversation he had with Dragon a long time ago.

"Inazuma! Tell me when they're taking Ace Boy. It will be cutting it close but his Vivre Card is still pointing down! I'm taking Luffy and Naruto with me down to level 6." Said Ivankov.

"All right! And they're not holding Ace in level five.?" Asked Luffy.

"No I guess it would make sense he would be in level 6 though…" said Naruto.

"Oh that does make sense!" said Luffy.

"Straw Hat Boy!" said Ivankov, "You shouldn't tell people who your father is!"

"I guess you're right." Said Luffy.

"Your father is my friend. I am an officer in the Revolutionary army. That's why I was imprisoned here. You didn't ask for my help but it is my duty to protect you… I can't let my comrade's son die in front of me… and even though you share no blood relation to him, you're still part of his family." Said Ivankov turn to Naruto.

Naruto nodded happy that he wasn't going to be shunned due to not being blood related to Dragon.

"Listen to me Newkama! We are going to rescue Ace Boy and break out of Impel Down! If you want to help out be ready to lay down your lives!" yelled Ivankov.

The Newkama were confused, but Luffy and Naruto were all ready to fight.

"All right Ace! We're coming!" yelled Luffy.

However then he collapsed.

"Luffy!" yelled Naruto.

They were phreaking out however… thankfully he has a pulse.

"Emporio Energy Hormones"! called out Ivankov injecting some into Luffy.

"It's adrenaline! Now you can forget your fatigue away. You won't care right now but the after effects will hit you later." Said Ivankov.

And so they along with the half colored man Inazuma all headed to rescue Ace.

They headed up to level five in order to head back down.

"We need to hurry… 1 minute could make all the difference." Said Inazuma.

As they hurried to the location they saw a bunch of wolves headed right towards them, however of course they fought them off.

With Naruto turned into his full demon form to fight them off.

"Inazuma the keys!" said Ivanov once they were able to get passed the wolves.

"Of course…" said Inazuma.

He opened up the doors and they headed down to level six.

Of course the guards had seen this and was all in shock. After all they thought that they were all dead expect for Naruto.

But still they had a mission to accomplish, to rescue Ace before he was taken away.

But little did they know was that as they were heading down the stairs it was indeed too late.

They were going to take him away to Marineford and to his execution…

And none of them knew what would come after that…

Next Time: Good news: They make it to Level 6! Bad News: They already took away Ace! So the new plan is to go to Marineford to rescue him. However they're going to need help... and unfortunately one is an old enemy... who is it? Find out next time!
