Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. And here we are, three chapters left of this arc, but that's not important right now. How was your weekend? Cause mine was pretty great, so I'm feeling a little good right now?

Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Natsu: we challenged master hades

Lucy: he's a lot more powerful than I imagined

Natsu: we can take him

Erza: yes, we have to stand together

Lucy: if you guys say so

Natsu: that's the spirit

Hades flew backward after Laxus had headbutted behind him. Natsu and the others had looks of relief. "Laxus" Gray asked.

"Never thought I'd be glad to see him," Lucy muttered, wiping a tear from her eye.

"Wait," Wendy asked, "isn't he Master Makarov's grandson."

"Ahh," Hades said, a sense of realization coming over him as he stared down at Laxus. "I thought I recognized you," he smiled, "so the fallen son returns" he looked over Laxus, who only glared at him. "you're the spitting image of your grandfather in his younger years" Hades let out a chuckle, "and you even have the same magic as your great Grandfather" Hades shook his head "so tell me, boy, did you enjoy disgracing them both"

"Great grandfather," Erza asked.

"Yuri Dreyer" Natsu told her "The original chosen son"

[## Prelude to destruction##]

"Pathic," Laxus said suddenly, "you guys let this fossil beat you so bad you look like a group of tattered rags."

"I guess we were in a little over our heads," Natsu joked. He had to admit after that last attack, Hades landed on him. He felt like crap. His entire body felt numb. He could barely move his finger "what are you doing here."

"I came to pay respects to the grave of Zera," Laxus told him. "I was a child of magnolia to you know," he smiled, "but imagine my surprise when I found one of the original children" he shot a glare at him, "I planned on dropping by her grave, but since you're here."

"How about I dig a grave for you."

Child of Mavis

[## Released power ost##]

"What a shame," Hades muttered, "to think that such a pretentious Grandson would burden Makarov," he said as he and Laxus charged their magic power, the ground around them raising before both charged into each other Laxus used his lighting to dodge around Hades landing a hit on his face he attempted to kick him into the ground only for him to jump out of the way "good" Hades muttered, "I'm impressed by your magic power, not to mention you're courage, to think Mavis would have one more pawn of Gildarts caliber and none other than Makarov's grandson."

Laxus scoffed, "you know the old man used to tell me something," he stated, "when facing a strong opponent, it doesn't matter how strong they are; what matters is that you stood up to them" he smiled. "Wouldn't you agree, Natsu?"

"You bet"

Hades scoffed hearing this, "that's the coward's excuse," Hades said, "since you seem so confident in your skill, why don't you come and show me, boy."

"Thought you'd never ask."

Back at base camp, Mira had been meditating. She could feel a new magic power in the air, but she couldn't tell who it was. It felt different. She sighed as she looked back to Mavis' resting form. Next to her was Elfman, who was still out alongside Evergreen and Juvia 'so many injured,' Mira thought

"You okay, Mira" a voice called, pulling Mira out of her thoughts

she looked over to see Cana coming up to her "you look stressed," she asked, sitting next to her

"You could say that," Mira said. She heard Elfman grumble something which made her laugh "just need to stay strong, I guess," she told her, "The enemy could attack at any moment" before she could continue, a presence came over her. She griped Cana and jumped out the way as a white blade flew past her "damn it," Mira shouted as she landed

"Oh no," Levy said, "not those guys again," she said, looking at both Yomazu and Kawazu, who glared at them, "I thought Gajeel beat those guys."

"I guess they got back up," Mira said

"Umm, Mira," Cana said suddenly, "we have a problem."

"What is it now" she turned to see Kain was walking up to the camp

"Another member of the seven Kin," Cana said, "we beat you."

"And now I'm back for revenge," he said, "you and your pretty friend took me down and stole Mr. Cursey, but now," Kain said, pulling out another Mr. Cursey, "with Mr. Cursey Jr I will have my revenge."

"Another one of those things," Cana screamed.

"Everyone calm down," Mira said, standing. Her magic power started to leak out a purple aura surrounding her "now walk away, and I promise you won't spend too long in the hospital."

"As if," Yomazu shouted, "battle etiquette means nothing to a warrior who has lost his blade," he said, "thanks to you and your friends, we have a chance to be promoted to Seven kin of Purgatory."

"Now die" Kawazu shouted. He shot his egg rain, making large explosions.

"Cana Levy," Mira said, not backing down, "you to take on the animal farm there, I'll handle the members of the Seven kin," she told them. "Can you handle that" the two girls nodded?

"Alright, take this," Levy shouted "{Solid script: lighting}" Levy called, "be careful, Cana," Levy shouted, "these guys are crafty."

"I got ya," Cana screamed as she threw her cards, making a large explosion "we need to protect the injured."

Mira turned to face Kain, who ignored her "sorry hot stuff, as much as I would love to date you. I need to take me vengeance" he was stopped when Mira, in her Satan soul form, elbowed him in the gut sending him back "hey what was that for" Kain shouted, "you have to wait your turn."

"Sorry," Mira muttered as she likes her lips, "but patience has never really been my thing."

"Fine then," Kain shouted, "you will come to fear the Seven kin," he shouted.

Mira crossed her arms, a smile coming over her face. "It looks like I get to have my fun after all."

In magnolia, Macao paced over the pub, a stressed look coming over his face "where are they" he said, "when is Romeo going to get back."

"Alzack and Bisca agreed to take him on a job," Wakaba said, "kid wants to get into wizarding, so he's gotta get his foot in the door."

"I know that," Macao shouted "

"Hey, dad," Romeo shouted, running back into the pub behind him where Bisca and Alzack followed, "that job was awesome."

"You've been tagging along with many Jobs lately," Macao muttered. "I can barely keep track."

"Well, he is a wizard's son," Wakaba said, "shame you're not the one he looks up to."

"Shut up," Macao shouted.

Behind them. Laki laughed "well, you can't blame Romeo," she said, getting in their conversation. "I mean, there's not a kid in Magnolia that doesn't have some admiration for Natsu."

"Or a crush on Mira," Alzack added.

"Yeah, Natsu's the coolest," Romeo said "when I grow up, I'm going to be just as strong as him," Romeo said, making his father sink further into a black mist as he looked around "hey, where is Natsu," Romeo asked.

"He and Mira still aren't back," Kinana called from the counter next to her was Makarov and Freed, who had been assisting the girl with running the pub "their job seems to be running a little long," Kinana admitted, "but I'm sure they'll back soon."

"Speaking of which," Bisca asked, "any of you know where he and Mira ran off."

"Sorry, no" Kinana answered. "Mavis said they were heading out, and that's all we needed to know for now."

"can't blame her," Bickslow said, "with Mystogen gone, I'm sure she's on edge."

"I'm sure whatever they're doing, they can handle," Makarov said, cutting in "we just need to have faith in them" he smiled.

"Yeah, I guess," Bickslow muttered.

"Well, then I'm going to train and get super strong," Romeo said "then one day, I might be a child of magnolia" he smiled at the thought as Laki laughed behind him.

"Hold your horses, kid," Macao said, "you gotta become a normal wizard first."

"I will. I'm all fired up."

On the Grimoire heart airship, Happy, Carla, and Lily found themselves in the ship's interior "searching as a group is getting us nowhere," Caral said, stopping, "we have no choice but to split up."

"you're as smart as you are, pretty," Happy said "good idea Carla."

"What," Lily asked, still scared at the sounds of thunder going on outside, "you want us to go alone."

"You scared," Happy teased.

"No, I'm not!" Lily shouted, turning to his original form, "let's split up."

"There it is," Happy said as he walked away, opening up a door. He found a large room, the only center being one tiny toilet. "Natsu was right," Happy muttered "these dark guild types are all weirdoes," he muttered before closing the door and walking away.

"Carla came to a door blocked off by a brick wall "what the hell is this ship" she screamed.

"I am not afraid," Lily muttered ."I am a warrior, and I am not afraid," he said as he stopped in front of a door "this one looks suspicious," he said as he reached for the door as soon, thunder sounded making him jump and breaking the door handle breaks off as he looked down "oh no" soon the group regrouped as Lily quickly hid the handle smiling "nothing over here."

"We should continue," Carla said, "it might be better to stick together."

in the middle of Tenrou Island, Zera sat in the middle of her shine, mediating the wind blowing past her, letting in a breath of fresh air. 'If I still had the Tenrou tree, this would be easier,' she huffed. Her body began to glow, opening a single eye. She felt another magic growing, a smile forming on her face. She took another breath, small lights forming around her, letting one land on her finger. She smiled before sending it away.

"The grand fairy will soon awaken."

"{Lighting Drakon: breath}" Laxus screamed as he shot his variation of breath attack at Hades, who jumped out the way. Trying to counter with his chain magic Laxus ducked out of the way as he grabbed the small globe behind him. He tried to crush Laxus with it, dragging it forward, but he moved out of the way.

"I wish I could move right now," Lucy muttered "oh crap," she screamed as the globe flew over her. 'I'm going to die here.'

Hades blew Laxus back before creating another Amaterasu formula around Laxus "what the hell" Laxus screamed, "an Amaterasu formula," he shouted.

"be careful, Laxus," Natsu screamed "that spell is strong" he would know his body felt like it was turning into mush. He could barely move his finger right now. The spell had practically drained all his magic power.

"Now die" Hades screamed as a large explosion overtook Laxus. blowing everyone in the room back as he smiled "those hit by an Amaterasu spell lose all strength in their muscles," he explained "simply blocking it takes so much magic power that it can be fatal" he laughed as a bolt of lightning shot from the smoke kicking him in the back of the head making him land on the ground "what."

"he's so powerful," Erza muttered.

"I can see why this guy was a child of magnolia," Gray muttered

"And to think," Laxus started, "that was only one leg, and to think I still have the other one," he smiled, "and both my arms and the rest of my body" he stood over hades, a shadow covering his face "put them together, and they're going to be a lot stronger than the kick that took you down."

Hades stood up smiling "you talk big," Hades called, "though I can't blame you, there's an air of confidence with youth." Hades smiled. He had to admit this Laxus was strong. It figures that Makarov would come to breed such a strong fighter while he hated to admit it. He still held on to the fond memories while training the boy. When the grand magic world came, he was confident that he would be there as well "a shame your pride leads you to disgrace your grandfather."

"let's leave my grandpa out of this," Laxus growled, "either way, he'd be disgusted at what you've done."

"is that so," Hades asked as he and Laxus clashed again, creating shockwaves blowing everyone back "you will fall here," he screamed.

"You can't beat me."

"Watch me"

[##Seven kin of purgatory ost##]

Mira dodged another attack from Kain as he gripped her leg and tossed her into a tree. "I got you now," Kain shouted as Mira tried to stand up, but she could feel her leg give out as Kain toward over her "you're in a sorry state; that's what you get for trying to seduce me."

Mira had to hold back a laugh "sorry, but you're not my type."

"What," Kain said. "I'm crying tears of joy because I love being single," he shouted as he tried to attack her again, "you're going to pay."

"Not on your life," Mira screamed as she jumped up 'damn, nothing I'm doing is working on this guy.'

"Mr. Cursey," Kain shouted, "is making me immune to all damage," he bragged, "so now little she-devil, will you go out with me."

"Get your priorities straight," Mira shouted as she kicked Kain again, forcing him to move back. "I'm not losing to a blob-like you," she screamed. She dodged another attack "{evil spark}" she cried, shocking Kain, making him slide back a few inches "now {Evil explosion}."

Kain then turned himself into Iron tanking the attack as he appeared from the smoke. Mira backed up in shock as she was knocked into a tree.

"Mira," Levy called

"Focus on the fight ahead of you," Yomazu shouted, "your friend will meet a gruesome death at the hands of Kain."

"These dark guild weirdos," Cana muttered using her only good arm "come on, Levy, we got this," she called as she pulled out some of her cards "{Summon: ice and lighting"}" she called as Kawaza jumped up.

"Once we're done with you," Kawaza shouted, "our promotion is guaranteed," he called.

"you're an overconfident one," Cana called, "but we're not going down that quickly.

"Oh, we're counting on it," Yomazu said as the four wizards faced off.

Laxus fell to his knees as Hades let out a laugh. "I knew you were full of bravado, but I didn't think you'd fall to your knees so quickly," Hades bragged. Their battle had utterly destroyed the room around them, but Hade's barely had a scratch on him. He smiled as he walked up to Laxus "tell me, boy, how did it feel to destroy all the goodwill your grandfathers created."

"You know," Laxus breathed out, "I started to travel" Laxus smiled. "I traveled all over this world of ours," he looked up at Hades, "but this is the first time I've met such a monster," he muttered.

"Laxus," Natsu called, "you gotta stay strong," he called "you can do it," he shouted, making him smile.

"I still," Laxus muttered, "got a long way, kid."

"I'm glad I could help you with that realization," Hades said. "Laxus was it, well it too bad you had to realize it here" Hades created another dark orb "because now you have to die," he screamed.

[##Guild memories##]

'I swear, you're just as high strung as I am, be careful, or you'll end up in here with me; you need to stop and smell the roses; it'll allow you to hear and see things you've never seen before,'

'I did, Grandpa, ' Laxus said. After leaving magnolia the second time he started to travel, he had no idea where he was going, and yet it didn't matter; he saw things did things he never thought he could help people in ways he never imagined "and you were right, I've learned so much about myself' he smiled. 'I spent so long worrying about myself worrying about tomorrow that I was missing the things right in front of me" his mind went to Freed, Evergreen, and Bicklow his three closet friends the people he grew up with trained with.

"Get out of the way," Lucy screamed

"You need to move," Erza shouted,

"it's going to hit you," Wendy shouted

"I realize I did things" Laxus started "terrible things" he remembered his first attack on Magnolia, the path he set Natsu and the thunder legion on "in my anger and hatred, I forgot what Magnolia stood for," he smiled "this bastard, harmed Mavis the person who gave us the world, gave us a place to call home" he looked at Natsu the light shining over his face "so I'm allowed to take revenge right."

"of course, you are," Natsu shouted, tears forming in his eyes, "which is why you gotta keep going," he cried, "We all got to get home together."

"You have come a long way," he said before the attack hit him. A blast of lightning shot from him, going right towards Natsu.

"what" he muttered, "lighting" a large explosion soon overtook the ship. Knocking everyone over. At the camp, unknown to everyone fighting, a single tear appeared on Mavis's face as she sensed Laxus defeat. The boy fell into the large hole that the attack created. He smiled as he looked over to Natsu, lighting now surrounding him as he started to stand up.

"Consider that, my treat, kid."

"Hey," Natsu said, standing up, "thanks for the meal."

"An electric charge," Hades asked

"I gave him all my magic power," Laxus said

"What," Erza asked, "he gave his magic power to Natsu."

"Does that mean," Lucy asked, "he ate lighting, but if he eats anything other than his element, he gets sick"

"If that's the case, Laxus must have taken that hit with no magic power," Gray muttered.

"He was willing to risk his life to help us," Wendy said

"why," Natsu muttered "why did you give it to me," he said, clenching his fist "you know that I'm," Natsu stopped, "that I'm weaker than you," he said

"it has nothing to do with whose stronger between the two of us, "Laxus said "what matters is that this bastard harmed Mavis, so it's only fair that her chosen son is the one to take him down" Laxus smiled, "and you are her pride and joy Natsu if anyone deserves the right to show him why he shouldn't mess with the wizards of magnolia it's her chosen son" Natsu smiled as he stood up "now go get him Natsu."

"Yeah," Natsu said, wiping away the tears on his face, Cana's words from earlier ringing in his ears '"it's time to put that chapter of our lives behind us, right," Natsu said to Laxus. He nodded as Natsu smiled. Flames burst from his body, merging with the lighting around him as Wendy looked in shock.

"No way," she muttered as Natsu turned to face Hades, a look of anger on his face "he did it," Wendy said, " a fusion between flames and lighting." She had only heard rumors about it. Still, she never thought that anyone would be able to pull it off; then, she thought back to how she and Natsu beat Zancrow and how Natsu found a way to eat his flames. She smiled.

The battle against Hades takes an unexpected turn as Natsu has absorbed the magic power of Laxus. Will this be enough to overcome the powerful Hades find out on a fairy tail re-told next time?

Natsu: man, how long have we been going at this

Happy: a couple of hours at best

Lucy: it feels like way longer

Erza: I tend to lose track of time when I'm fighting, so I don't know

Lucy: we need to carry around a watch

Natsu: I tried that once, but they kept getting burnt
