Lahar and Dornbolt stood in shock as they watched the Island glow "what is this" he asked as Laha shook his head. He continued to look at the tree it bright glow was something he wouldn't have believed if he didn't see it with his own eyes. Before he could speak again, the ship started to move again, parts of wood reattaching as the sails began to repair themselves. the ship was dragged into the ocean fully restored as nearly all the men were placed safely on the ship

"This is the power of Tenrou." a voice called both turned to see Mavis, a bright light shining around her as she glared at the pair, "and you should consider yourself lucky I'm in a forgiving mood right now."

"That's," Dornbolt said

"The master behind fairy tail," Lahar asked. ' She's younger than I thought she'd be,' he said "you have a lot to answer for," as Mavis let out a small chuckle.

"You hold no power here, boy," she told him. "I have returned your injured and your dead to this ship," Mavis said, "and as such, before my mood changes," she shot a glare at him, "you will leave this place and never return." her voice hung in the air as both started to back up "if you do you will understand why my children have such faith in me."

"You dare," Lahar started before Dornbolt jumped in the way

"Okay," he said, "We understand," Mavis said nothing before a bright light shined around as she vanished. The sound of the water crashing as Dornbolt let out a sigh of relief. He looked at Lahar "come on," he said to his friend, "let's go."

"Dornbolt" Lahar muttered

"you feel it," he muttered "when I first met her, I didn't feel an ounce of magic power" Dornbolt looked at the tree. The brilliant light was enough to leave a man speechless "now," he shook his head, "this magic power is unreal," Lahr said nothing as he turned to face the troops.

"Alright," he said, "ready the anchors, our survey of Tenrou Island is over," he called as everyone got ready as he looked back at the tree on last time "fairy tail, what is your purpose? in this magic world of ours."

Mavis, the grand fairy

Mavis and Hades stood on opposite sides of each other. The women had yet to leave his gaze, their conversation from earlier and years ago playing through their minds. "Precht," Mavis said, "I'll ask you one more time," she said, "please leave and walk away" Hades then let out a laugh.

"Still holding out for a peaceful solution, my dear," Hades said "we are far past the point of no return, Mavis," his magic power growing. "the grand magic world is within my reach." he then charged an attack only for Mavis to block it as everyone behind them were blown back by the magic attacks. "despite the increase in your magic power you lack the resolve to." Hades was caught off when a power spell blew through this magic, destroying all of his creation and knocking him down "what" he looked up to see Mavis staring daggers at him, the kind and hopeful face she always wore was gone.

"Remember Precht," Mavis's voice was cold filled with anger, "I gave you a chance to walk away" she then crossed her arms "now, to protect my children from further danger, I will make you," she shouted as she created another large explosion sending Hades back.

"You will fall here," Hades shouted.

"So be it," was all Mavis said

[##Ultimate final death battle##]

The attack collided again as everyone behind them was sent back" Mavis," Natsu screamed as he watched her begin to fight Hades again.

"Stay back, Natsu," she screamed. "I can handle this," she said quickly. Their attack continued to bounce off each other her eyes immediately went back to focusing on Hades. She then used her magic to knock him down. The water around them started to rise as they clashed. Mavis created a small fire before blowing it at Hades as he jumped over. He gripped her, using his chain magic, throwing her to the side. Mavis shattered the chain before she raised her hands small magic particles appeared before blowing up, sending Hades back.

"what" Hades muttered "how" he shouted.

"You aren't the only one who started into the abyss of Sorcery Precht," Mavis said. "I to have stared into that enteral abyss, but where you found darkness, I found light." she stepped forward, the magic around her glowing even more as she got closer to Hades. "I failed to see the darkness of magic that you claim."

"You didn't delve deep enough," Hades shouted. "I have," Hades shouted, "that is the difference between you and me, Mavis," he screamed as he created more darkness tainting his chain magic surrounding Mavis, who didn't move. She moved her arms, shattering the magic as she raised her arm.

"that's where you're wrong," Mavis told him. "The difference between the two of us, Precht," she smiled. "is when that abyss stared back at us."

"You blinked," she snapped. fingers and a large explosion overtook Hades making him jump back as he looked at Mavis, fear in his eyes as she walked forward "you fail to see magic for what it is," Mavis told him as Hades glared at her. "Darkness is born from light and light born from darkness" she didn't fail to see the look of remembrance from Wendy as she repeated her old master's words, "you can't have one without the other."

"that's where you're wrong," Hades screamed as he closed his hands "the true nature of magic is darkness," Hades shouted, "in the end, we all come from the dark, and that is where we will find power beyond our imagination" he screamed as he started to charge his spell "{Grimoire Law}" he shouted, "now you and your children will be consumed by the darkness." a black mist surrounded as Mavis remained unmoved by the action a look of sorry coming over her face as she shook her head.

"what's going on" Erza screamed.

"Is this Grimore law," Gray asked "is like fairy Law," he asked

"master" Natsu called

"Fear not," Mavis said, "heed this lesson, fairy tail" she turned to look at them. "know that the dark is patient everlasting; it is cruel and unjust and will try with all its might consume you" she smiled as her body began to glow again "but in its greatest strength lies its greatest weakness" he body glowed forcing back the Grimoire law spell "for all it takes is a single candle to hold back the night," she said "hope and love are more than candles keep then in your heart and you will see the light" Mavis raised her hand in the air a bright light coming from it "I invoke {Fairy: Soul}" a bright light shined as Natsu, Erza, Lucy, Gray, Wendy, Carla, Happy, Lily bodies started to glow as the effect of Grimoire law disappeared leaving everyone unharmed as Hades looked in shock.

"what" Hades shouted "how" he looked at Mavis, who was holding a small golden ball of light in her hands "what is that"

"you're magic," Mavis told him, "Turned to light" the magic ball dissolved in her hands as she then waved them around in a circle motion, one turning black as the other turned to gold before she closed them "in the end, you fail Hades" she closed her hands as a bright light shined over Hades "now perish" she screamed.

"no," Hades shouted as he got ready to attack, only for several marks to appear on him, making his body freeze. "my devil's eye," Hades thought to himself, "why is her magic affecting me?" Hades tried to move but was stopped as a large magic circle formed around him

"The Fairies judgment has marked you," Mavis said, her voice growing deep as her magic power shot from her body, "and now I will decide your fate. She slammed her hands together. Hades looked, trying to move as a bright light surrounded him "seek atonement for the sins you've caused," she said as the light shined around Hades who let out a scream the ground and water shaking from the intensity of the attack.

"{Tenrou's wrath}" the voice of Mavis and Zera filled the air as the attack ended.

The rubble sounds landed on the ground as everyone looked at Hades, who was knocked to the ground. Everyone stared at him, hoping that he stayed down. When Mavis relaxed her stance, turning to them smiling, everyone calmed down, tears forming in their eyes.

"Master, I," Natsu started, but the sun began to come up, making him stop as he closed his eye to the sudden flash of light, he looked at Mavis as she let out a laugh.

"Natsu," Mavis started as she looked at the sun. Natsu looked at her, "you have gone through a lot, and from here, I can see how much you've grown" Mavis smiled "know this," she said, looking at the rising sun, "light and dark are two sides of the same coin that one can't simply exist without the other" the radiant form she had taken seemed to leave as the sun landed on her skin "to find true balance" she looked at Natsu a warm smile on her face "you must live your life with an open heart."

Natsu smiled as he started to wipe the tears from his face. "Okay," he said before smiling at her, "thank you, master" she nodded at the boy, the sun soon rising, her form leaving as Mavis returned to her normal appearance, the sound of men running to them. They looked over to see the remaining Grimoire heart goons running up to them, only to stop when they saw Mavis standing before them and Hades on the ground as she shot them a death glare "get the hell off my Island," she muttered before they all started to run away.

"You might want this back," Lucy said as she handed Natsu his scarf

"It is a little chilly," he joked

"We won," Wendy said. "I knew we could do it."

"You did well, Wendy," Erza said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm proud of you."

"Come on," Natsu said, trying to stand up, "let's get back to camp" he smiled. "I'm dying for some of Mira's cooking. Since that nasty tasting divine flames, I haven't had any food," he said. This got a laugh out of his friends as they all started to leave.

"You okay, Lucy," Wendy asked.

"Yeah, I think I can" Lucy was stopped when she was swept into the arms of Capricorn.

"Please, my lady," he asked, "allow me."

"Umm, thanks," Lucy muttered as Capricorn started to carry her off the battlefield. Mavis walked up to where Laxus was being helped by Gray. Out of the small crater, he looked at her, shame coming over his face as he looked away. Expecting to be shouted at, he was greeted by her warm smile "thank you for coming back, Laxus," she said, "you have grown," she said, walking past him.

"You should take it easy," Erza said as she tried to help Natsu "you look like you're about to kill over."

"Maybe," Natsu said, "I think eating that lighting wasn't the best plan" he looked at Erza, "you okay."

"Yeah," Erza said as she let Natsu lean on her, "you."

"I'll be fine."

Mavis saw Gray grabbing Laxus, who looked at her turning his head away only to be greeted by her warm smile "thank you for coming, Laxus," Mavis said, "you have grown so much since the last time I saw you.

"I," Laxu started

"thank you," he said as he and Gray started to leave. Mavis watched as they left, wanting to make sure they all left the ship safely. She let out a sigh of relief as she began to go.

"Mavis," a voice called, "why don't you finish me" it was Hades. He was on the ground staring at the sky as Mavis had her back turned from him.

"I'm letting you live," Mavis started, "based on our past friendship. now order you're remaining forces to retreat," she said as she began to walk away again."I'll overlook what you've done this time," Mavis said "

"Foolish," Hades said, "you know I will recover, and I will return"

"And if you do," Mavis said, "I will not hesitate to wipe you from the face of the earth" she looked and started to leave before stopping again, "that is your only warning, old friend."

"I was so close," he said, "even if I failed here, you still refuse to see the truth, of the true nature of magic," he said, "I could almost see it," he said. "I wanted nothing more than to see the grand magic world for myself" Hades reached his arm up, "primordial magic nearly within my grasp, do you not understand."

[## the promised land far away##]

"You are the one who fails to see the truth," Mavis told him. "You claim that magic's true nature is darkness; others have claimed that magic lies in the light," Mavis started, a small light shining in her hands. "What both fail to realize is that it doesn't change anything," she said, shocking Hades "magic is alive and thus influenced by the people who use it," Mavis said "it's an ever-evolving force of nature that changes with the times," Mavis smiled.

"Today, it could be light. Tomorrow it could be darkness" Mavis turned to him "there is no one truth to what magic is cause to everyone. It means something different" she turned, finally walking away. "strength, power, happiness, friendship, family, love, loyalty, these are things that we as wizards use to give our magic purpose as an ever driving force it doesn't matter whether they are light or dark what matters is how that person views themselves how they intend to use their magic to affect the world we live in" she smiled as she started to walk away her words hanging in the air "and that Precht,"

"is the nature of magic."

Natsu let out loud snores next to him; Elfman had managed to let out even louder snores as Evergreen, who had since woken up, growled at their noise "how is Mira okay with this" she asked, pointing towards Mira. The girl was sitting in the middle of the two, reading a book, not a care in the world as her two brothers let out the loudest snores ever heard "they're sawing logs over there," she screamed as Mira looked up; two earbuds falling out her ears which made Erza laugh.

"Well, I guess we know," Erza told her as Evergreen grumbled out something

Happy smiled as he munched on some fish stew Mira had made next to him; Carla had some tea "well, at least we found the devil's heart," Happy said, "did you find a way to destroy it."

"Well, I was about to break it then. Mavis dragged us away," Carla told him.

"Well, in the end, the mission was a success, so I think we did good," Lily said as Gajeel, who had also woken up, walked up to him.

"Lily, you okay," he asked before falling to his injuries

"I think you need more help than me, Gajeel," Lily said

"Thank you for all the help, Capricorn," Lucy said, "it's good to have you back."

"It feels good to be back," Capricorn said, "and by the way," Capricorn stopped himself, "never mind."

"Oh, come on," Lucy told him, smiling, "no need to hold back with me."

"In that case," Capricorn started, "when I was carrying you earlier, I couldn't help but notice you were on the heavy side," he said, making Lucy back up in shock. "I would suggest losing weight to improve your overall health and magic power. If you like, I can create a diet that can help you regulate fatty meats and sweets."

"Maybe you could hold back a little, "Lucy muttered

"That was harsh," Cana laughed

"it's good to see you again, Laxus," Evergreen said, smiling at her old friend.

"You too," he asked, "how are Freed and Bickslow."

"As fine as ever," she smiled, "you know you can come to see them; I'm sure they both would be overjoyed."

"I'll think about it," Laxus told her.

"Next," Wendy's voice called as Happy strolled away, thanking her for healing him as she looked around "anyone else needs some healing," she asked as she looked at Gray, who hadn't left Juvia's side. "Gray, you need to give her time," she said

"I know it's just," Gray said, "she got hurt because of me."

"don't say that," Wendy said, hurrying over to him, "placing a hand on his arm" she smiled at him. "I'm sure Juvia will make a full recovery and be back to normal in no time," Gray let out relief as he looked at the water women.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," he said. He looked up to see Evergreen with an embarrassed Laxus behind her, smiling at them.

"Wendy," she asked, "would you be a dear and heal up Laxus," she said," he's too stubborn, but he was hurt worse than he's trying to let on."

"Come on, Evergreen," Laxus shouted "

"Sure, I can heal him," Wendy said, smiling

"Be sure to take it, easy kid," Gray told her

"don't worry," Wendy said, turning to him, "I can handle it."

"So, we're still missing Gildarts," Mavis asked as Lucy and Cana nodded "where could he be," Mavis asked. "I hope he's alright."

"Knowing him," Mira said, "he's probably asleep under a tree."

"Well, well," Gildarts said, suddenly popping up, scaring everyone, "look whose back the lighting dolt" he laughed at him "how ya been"

"Give it a rest, old man," Laxus told him

"Hold still," Wendy shouted

"sorry" behind him, several others had started to form a line waiting for Wendy to use her healing magic on them "look like lines forming," he muttered as Natsu walked up next to her alongside Carla and Mira.

"don't overwork yourself, child," Carla told her.

"I can take over for you if you like," Erza said, walking up to Wendy in a white Nurses outfit.

"Wow, Erza, you look amazing," Wendy said, "but what do you know about being a nurse."

"Oh, skills in battle don't matter," Erza told her. "It's the heart that will carry us forward," she said

"What do you mean battle," Wendy said, fear laced in her voice

"See, you scared the poor girl to death," Carla shouted as Erza sat down

"Now, boys," Erza said, taking a sexy pose catching their attention, "tell me where it hurts, and I'll decide if I should take your temperature or just give you an injection."

"She honestly thinks we will fall for the hot nurse routine," Gray asked.

"We ain't that hard up," Gajeel said despite being some of the first in line as Elfman and Gildarts jumped behind them along with Laxus Wendy turned away in shame.

"Now, now," Levy said, trying to cheer her up, "you use this as a chance to take a break," Lecy told her.

"it's because she has bigger boobs than I do, isn't it" Wendy muttered, shocking Levy as Natsu started to whistle and slowly slide away as Mira laughed.

"Oh, you'll get there eventually, Wendy," she laughed "right Natsu."

"Huh, oh yeah," Natsu said, his cheeks turning pink

"Well, looks like it worked, huh" Mira teased

"Shut it, Mira," Natsu shouted behind them.

"suddenly, it feels like the war with Grimoire Heart was in the distant past," Lily asked.

"Aye, sir," Happy said

"I'm afraid it always ends this way," Carla said, shaking her head as Gray and Gajeel screamed in pain as Erza tried and failed to wrap them both in bandages. To say she was terrible at it would be th understatement of the year.

"a shame," Wendy said "if only we had a medical professional, but no," Wendy said, turning her head, "reap what you so," she screamed.

"come on, Wendy," everyone screamed as Mira started laughing

Mavis smiled. Everything had gone back to normal it seemed the fighting was finally over as she looked into the distance, wondering what came next for them.

'I guess we have to wait and see.'

The Grimoire heart Airship was still in pieces after Hades's fight with fairy tail and Mavis. They barely could leave the Island due to all the ship's damage. Hades sat in a room, taking in all that had transpired on the Island. Ultear and Caprico had betrayed him, according to Kain. Meredy was nowhere to be found. He could only assume that she had betrayed them or was lost on the Island and left behind. Zancrow and Azuma were confirmed to be dead as they could no longer sense the magic power from either, so now his seven Kin was reduced to a meager two, and not to mention Bluenote was heavily injured.

"To think," Rustyrose said, breaking the silence, "we would know defeat," he muttered, "the grand magic world was right within our grasp. and it slipped right through our fingers."

"I can't believe it either," Kain said before either could continue. A presence came over them as they looked up "who's there" Kain shouted, "show yourself."

"It's people like you," a voice called, "that made me what I am today" Kain and Rustyrose stood in shock as Zeref revealed himself to wizards backing up in surprise as he glared at them. "And your wicked thoughts have summoned Acnologia, thus ending the current era." he glared at them as they backed up in shock.

"This world will come to an end here and now."
