Chapter 373: Just keep going up

Even with Magellan they kept going up. However someone did choose to stay behind.

It was Ivankov who did have a plan to fight him.

However Luffy had yet to notice this as Jimbei explained the current plan.

"There should be plenty of war ships stationed outside." Explained Jimbei, "If we can get to one of those ships then we should be able to make Ace's execution."

"Okay!" said Luffy.

They managed to get back to the second level and started to fight against the army once again.

Not too long afterwards as they beat up a bunch of Manticores Luffy noticed something off.

"Wait… wasn't the poison guy right behind us?" asked Luffy.

"Oh yeah He's not around anymore… that's weird." Said Naruto.

"Someone probably decided to hold him back." Pointed out Minato.

"Oh that makes sense." Said Naruto out loud.

"/can you please think when you talk to us…" said Minato.

"Iva and Inazuma were standing by the stairs a few seconds ago." Said Bon Clay.

Are they fighting the poison guy right now! We have to go back!" said Luffy.

"No!" yelled Naruto.

Luffy flinched at his younger brother.

"Luffy there's no way to save you again if he get you!" said Naruto.

"Your brother is right!" scolded Bon Clay, "Just trust the miracle worker."

Luffy nodded.

Naruto on the other hand didn't want to voice his fear out loud but did so internally to the two voices in his head.

"Do you think he'll be okay?" asked Naruto.

"He wear so much make up that I'm sure that it will protect him from the poison." Said Kyubi.

"Don't joke about that." Said Minato.

"I'm not joking…" said Kyubi.

He wasn't… he was able to take a hit in the face and thanks to his extremally heavy makeup… yes… really…

"What's going where's the security personal?" asked Crocodile.

"That's odd! I don't see any prisoners anywhere… did someone free them?" asked Jimbei.

It was indeed true all of the cells were empty.

"Tell them "With everything's going to hell it makes sense that their empty"." Kyubi said.

Naruto agreed with the sentiment and said it.

"That is a good point." Said Crocodile.

"I didn't even think about it." Said Jimbei.

The group continued to make their way up and got to level 1 without very many problems.

However when they got there they found that everyone running away from the group known at the Jailer Beasts.

"Their up again?" asked Naruto.

"You should have done something to that Zebra's hair…" said Kyubi.

"Seriously?" asked Minato.

"Still we have to fight them again!" said Naruto out loud.

Luffy nodded.

The Jailer Beasts before this group had jumped in literally ran into Crocodile and his group.

"Wait You're Crocodile!" yelled Buggy in shock.

"Boss!" yelled Mr. 3 in shock.

"Mr. 3… what's a worthless piece of trash doing here?" asked Crocodile.

"Crocodile is set free…" cried Mr. 3.

That was when they noticed the others in their group and the fact that the Jailer Beasts were once again knocked out.

"Hey! Can I have a sword! The zebra's hair is really annoying ,e" said Naruto, "A zebra prison guard should not have long luscious hair."

"Naruto… I don't think that's a good idea." Said Jimbei.

Luffy was just laughing at this.

"Straw Hat! Shadow Fox!" yelled Mr. 3 and Buggy at the same time as their eyes and teeth popped out "Wait is that the Warlord Jimbei?"

"Oh hey! I'm glad you guys are okay." Said Luffy.

His words ended up hit them hard.

"Should we tell Luffy it's clear that their not his friends?" asked Minato.

"Probably not a good idea…" said Kyubi, "Plus they kept trying to abandoning them during the entire time if I Luffy didn't see it from the start then there's no point in trying to show him otherwise."

"Captain Buggy!" yelled one pf the escaped prisoners, "A bunch of prisoners and weirdoes are coming up from level 2."

"Weirdoes too!" yelled Buggy.

Before any more could be said Bon Clay kicked the tow in the face.

"This for abandoning us back there"! yelled Bon Clay.

"Mr. 2…" whimpered Mr. 3.

"What are you doing to Captain Buggy!" yelled one of the prisoners Buggy freed.

"Looks like Buggy just got a ton of prisoners to believe he's awesome…" said Kyubi.

"Really?" asked Naruto.

"Those poor, poor idiots…" said Kyubi.

That was when the guards showed up.

"Where the Warden!" yelled one of them.

"Did they managed to get away from warden Magellan. "said another of the guards.

However that was when they heard Magellan call out "Hydra!"

They saw a massive hydra made of poison appear.

"Oh no…" said Naruto.

"What about Iva and crab guy?" asked Luffy.

"Did Luffy just call him crab guy?" asked Minato.

"Yeah… Luffy often can't remember people's names…" said Kyubi;.

Luffy was about to fight him but Naruto and Bon Clay stopped him.

"Luffy let me handle him!" said Naruto.

"But you could poisoned." Said Bon Clay.

That was when Naruto sent out a bunch of clones.

"Oh right… clone user." Said Bon Clay.

The clones jumped towards Magellan but he just used the poisonous hydra to destroy them.

"That didn't do anything!" yelled Naruto.

"What did you think was going to happen!" yelled Kyubi.

However Jimbei noticed that Magellan was on a snail phone with someone telling them to take the ships away.

"Luffy! Naruto we got to hurry to the entrance!" yelled Jimbei, "We have a bad situation on our hands while we preoccupied with Magellan!"

However that was when the Hydra was sent to them.

But thankfully Mr. 3 blocked the poison hydra with his wax.

"Of course!" said Kyubi, "His wax is as hard at steel! And Steel Types aren't affect by Poison Types! So it makes sense that it would be immune!"

"That doesn't make any sense…" thought Naruto.

"Devil Fruits don't work that way." Said Minato.

"I must sometime accept that you will never understand my humor…" said Kyubi.

"Your naive sentimentality makes me sick… I do one little favor and you think we're friends." Said Mr. 3.

"Mr. 3!" yelled Luffy.

"Get out of here!" yelled Mr. 3, "I don't want to owe you a favor!"

With the wax wall blocking the poison they had some hope of getting away from Magellan.

But it was only some… and hopefully that will be enough…
