Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to the next chapter. A fairy tail re-told the new arc is well underway as we get into another filler arc revamp. I plan to give many characters some time to shine during this arc, so I hope you enjoy it. So, without any further ado, let's get into the story.

Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Wendy: it's hard to believe it has been six years since Tenrou

Lily: you've grown since then

Wendy: you think so

Lily: Yeah, you've grown quite strong. I'm sure the others would be proud of you.

Wendy: Thanks, Lily

"It so close" a voice called a church was surrounded in flames a bunch of men stood in horror as in the center a giant teddy bear stood in flames "time ticks forward" it called "soon ultimate power will be ours, and we will create chaos" it then let out a loud laugh a man then shot up from bed his breaths where heavy as he looked around.

"That dream again," he said, looking around, "not again

"Time ticks forward to chaos," he whispered miles away from a man and a woman who were asleep in a train, the large suite case next to them glowing as the train traveled to its destination

"Are you sure, Lahar?" Doma asked him, and the magic council was in a meeting. There was a problem. Some hooligan was going around burning down churches. They had sent the magic enforcement unit to check out the situation; however, the situation was looking more difficult than they thought

"Yes, sir," Lahar told him, "Another church was burnt down," he looked away, "and we still have no clue on who the perpetrator."

"That makes over thirty churches," Doma said

"Other lands have taken notice of this as well," Org added, "if this keeps up, these hooligans will ruin the magic enforcement reputation."

"And the councils along with it," Doma finished before looking back at Lahar, "do not fail."

"Yes, sir"

Heartfilia Memento

Wendy wiped some sweat from her head as she finished the roof on the dragon pub "hey Lily," she asked as her feline friend turned to face her, "are you almost done over there" the pair had agreed to help do maintenance around the pub for Miko it was the least they could do for offering them a place to sleep that had a roof over their heads and Wendy enjoyed the work it kept her mind off things that were going on.

"Almost," he said he was in battle mode as he hammered some tiles into the roof "this is harder than I thought it'd be" he stopped when he noticed Kinana walking up to them, drink in hands. the pair jumped from the roof landing on the ground.

"How about a break," she said, handing them the drinks and a couple of towels "also, Lyon is inside. He wanted to talk about you about something," she said

"Let me guess," Wendy said, "He wants me to join Lamia scale" Wendy laughed "as fun that sounds," she looked away. "I'm a raised solo wizard," she smiled. "I understand what he is trying to do, and I appreciate the gesture, but I don't think guild life suits me, ya know," she smiled "that and I kinda have to watch after you," Wendy joked, earning a playful punch from Kinana.

"You jerk," she laughed, "but come on. you should at least speak" she motioned for them to follow her "you can finish this work later, Miko won't mind," she said as she led the duo inside where Lyon was waiting for them, he gave her a smile he hadn't changed much but had started wearing new clothes a short, high-collared tunic, which is now dark in color and has light edges and cuffs, together with many decorative motifs on the lower part of the chest and sleeves; unlike before, the tunic's collar is now left slightly open. Lyon doesn't wear a jacket anymore; instead, his shoulders are covered by a dark mantle with a high collar and light, jagged edges matching his tunic. here they are, Lyon."

"Ah, Wendy," Lyon said, "it's good to see you again."

"No," Wendy said almost immediately. "How are you doing."

"The same answer, huh," Lyon said "well, it was worth a shot, but I'm doing fine" he smiled before the doors opened. The group turned to see both Freed and Bickslow entering the pub.

"Freed," Wendy said in shock. He hadn't changed much over years though she did notice that he had grown his hair a bit, and his coat had was now a darker shade of red, probably maroon, with the lines being replaced with black lines.

"Bickslow," Lily said; unlike Freed, he had changed his outfit entirely to a dark shirt that is covered by a black cape with black fur surrounding the neck and shoulders. The cape is held together by a metallic emblem, and the edges are decorated by a band of the same metallic texture, with small circles decorating the entire length. Bickslow's head is covered by gray-colored clothing and his knight-like visor. He wears two gauntlets that are the same color as his cape and are edged by the same metallic material and spherical decorations.

"Ah, Wendy," Freed said, "good we found you," Freed said, "these people were looking for you," he motioned to two people behind him. She didn't recognize the woman, but she recognized the man she had seen in pictures.

"Jude Heartfilia," Wendy muttered.

"Why yes," Jude said, "it is a pleasure to meet you, at last, Wendy" he smiled. "Lucy talked about you a lot in her letters" Jude smiled "she seemed to really adore you."

"Uncle Jude," the woman said, "We should focus on the task at hand" Wendy raises an eyebrow at the interaction.

"And who are you," she asked

"Wendy," Lily said, "try to sound friendly."

"Oh, pardon me," she said she had a somewhat resemblance to Lucy, probably why she had a little attitude she had wavy dark blonde hair and blue eyes complete with fair skin. Her outfit made her think of upper-class women consisting of a pink dress with white trim and a dark pink ribbon attached to it in which the top portion of the dress is a slightly lighter pink while the area below her waist has a darker shade of pink. A pink bonnet with white trim is on her head, including a blue corsage on the left side. She also wears white stockings and little dark pink shoes. "My name Michelle Lobster," she said smiling "it's a pleasure to meet a good friend of Cousin Lucy."

"cousin" Wendy asked.

"Yes," Jude said, walking up to her, "the Lobster family are my relatives, on my side of the family anyway" he gave a laugh, "and sweet Michelle here has been in my care for well a few years now I'd say four or five years" he smiled. "anyway, I was hoping we could hire you for a job."

"I'm listening," Wendy said

"Well, you see," he said, gesturing to the suitcase, "we are trying to get back to my old estate, and well, something is going on that makes me want to have some wizard to assist in case we run tint o any trouble."

"I see," Wendy said, glancing back at Lyon, who had said nothing throughout their conversation, "why not go to a guild."

"I'd rather not get a guild involved," Jude said "no offense."

"Just pretend I'm not here," Lyon said

"Well," Wendy said, looking to the side, "I got nothing better to do," she said, "and besides, Lucy would want me to help you" she smiled "you are her family after all."

"Thank you, my dear," Jude said "this is such a gift you are doing for us," he said before Wendy stopped him.

"And I want to know what's in the case," she said, "there's a weird smell coming from it, would it be too much to ask if I could know what I'm transporting"

"An old key," Jude told her, "Passed through my family for generations."

"Alright," Wendy said "hey Kinana," Wendy called "tell Miko I'm going to out for a few days at the most," Wendy said "got an escort job," she called as she walked. By Lyon, "sorry, gotta head out."

"No problem," Lyon said. "I only came here in the hopes that I could bring you to Lamia scale," he said as he followed the group outside to see three people standing in front of the pub. They stopped as Wendy pushed her way to the front.

"May I help you," she asked '. Why are their scents familiar? It wants till she looked at one 'wait, she looks like.'

"Coco," Lily said suddenly "why are you here," he asked, walking up "is something wrong."

"Do I know you," she asked. "Stopped talking like you know me, cat," she shouted, shocking Lily.

"They could be the earth land version," Wendy muttered. She took in the other two. One did, in fact, look a lot like Sugerboy though it had been seven years he had the same hairstyle and mannerisms. However, the one that threw her off was the one in the middle they looked just like Hughes's only difference was that well they were a woman. Still, scents don't lie "what do you want," Wendy asked. "I'm kinds of busy here," she said. She glanced over. She could see Laki in the background getting ready in case this encounter turned ugly. She could only hope Freed and Bickslow were behind her and not her current clints "anything you want help with, you can go inside," she motioned behind her.

Sugerboy laughed "we don't take orders from people with no style," he laughed.

"let's get this done," Coco said "sugerboy Mary Huges you ready

"Now," Hughes said, "hand over the girl with the briefcase and will be on our way."

"How forward," Wendy said, "you a crossdresser or something."

"We just meet, and I want to kill you," Hughes said

"I get that a lot," Wendy growled out as she got ready for a fight "you, want her you gotta go through me," she shouted as Sugerboy smiled, pulling out a stick he then started to sing into it as Wendy covered her ears making her back up as a green sludge began to come out of him "what the hell" Wendy screamed, "get back" she shouted as the green sludge surrounded her "what is this stuff" she yelled trying to fight her way out of it.

"You all talk and no bite, kid," Mary Hughes told.

"Let her go," a voice called behind her Laki had rushed in, slamming her hand into her fist "{wood make: violent approach}" she screamed only for the attack to miss going away as Mary Hughes smiled at her "what," she asked before she was thrown away.

"What is the meaning of this" Lily shouted as Coco tried to kick him, he jumped up, creating wings, "tell me now."

"Not on your life, flying cat," she shouted before she vanished, appearing above him, kicking down. As he landed, he saw Wendy struggling to get out of the blob.

"Hold on," Lily shouted as he flew to her grabbing her on the back pulling her out of the blob "you okay."

"No," Wendy said, "I feel pretty drained" Wendy looked around "you two need to run," she shouted as she looked back at the group. The green slob started to retreat into Sugerboy as he smiled at them. "I'll find you."

"You might want to hand yourself over," Hughes said, "if you keep going, this is going to get ugly."

"Not on your life," Wendy screamed "{sky dragons: wing attack}" Wendy created a gust o find only for it to move and strike Lyon sending him flying into the sky. "Oh no, Lyon," she shouted.

"It that wand," Lily told her. "It's' making your attack miss," he said

"Wendy," a voice called. She turned to see Kinana standing in the doorway

"Stay back," Wendy shouted as she started to attack again. Lyon, who had recovered from the attack, walked up to them

"You should come with me," he said as he began to make them run

"We got a runner," Hughes said. "Coco, go fetch."

"On it," she said

"Not so fast," Bickslow shouted, "you just don't come over and start attacking my friends without us hearing about it."

"{Dark Écriture}" Freed shouted as he and Bickslow tried to attack Coco, only for her to smile and jump over them both, landing on the roof of the pub knocking off a few shingles with her efforts.

"Hey, we just finished fixing that," Wendy shouted.

"It must be athletic magic," Freed said, "it was banned because people kept getting hurt while using it."

"8, 9, 10 points," Coco shouted as she started to leave

"she's getting away," Bickslow shouted

"I see that," Freed called back

"Take this," Laki shouted, "{wood make: God punch}" she made a giant fist made out of wood only for the GOP that was attacking her to swallow it whole, making her back up in shock "what? is this stuff."

"My hound dogs love maker magic," Sugerboy smiled at her "you wizards don't stand a chance" Lily appeared in his battle mode along with magica sword and tried to hit him only to be blocked by more of the goop "you almost caught me off guard," he said "but unfortunately for you, I've already seen that trick before

"Coco's gone after the targets," Hughes said, "so I think we should wrap up here."

"Not yet," Wendy shouted, only to be dragged down by Mary Hughes. She smiled as she looked at her "not much of a fighter after all."

"When I get out of this," Wendy shouted, "your dead meat," she called as she was blown back, sending her through a window landing in front of Miko, who let out a yelp as Wendy landed in. Front of her, "oh hey, Miko."

"You mind telling me why you are flying through the window hon," she asked, trying to hide her laughter.

"No reason," Wendy said, trying to stand up before falling again

"Wendy," Lily's voice rang through the door, "you alright in there."

"Yeah," Wendy said, "stewing," she said, pulling out some Jewel "this should cover it."

"Cover what," Miko asked as Wendy gave her an innocent smile. before running back through the door, "that girl," Miko said, shaking her head, "still love her, though."

"come Lily, we have to find them," he said

"Wendy," Laki called, trying to stand up, "be careful."

"I will," she shouted before flying off "damn it," Wendy said

"You okay," Lily asked as they flew over to the forest "you seem distracted."

"it's just," Wendy started, "meeting Lucy's father bringing memories back up, I guess."

"I know what you mean," Lily said. "I didn't know them for very long, but in that short time, it felt like"

"we've spent our entire lives together," Wendy said "come on," Wendy said, "let's make em proud."

Deep in the forest surrounding shirotsume Town. Lyon had stopped leading Jude and Michelle to safety. "I think we lost them," he said before turning to them smiling "now all we gotta do is wait for Wendy to come to find us; we should be fine" he looked to the sun had started to set

"You must be a good friend with Wendy if you decide to help her," Michelle asked.

"You could say that," Lyon said, "she was" Lyon stopped "she was friends with an old friend of mine," Lyon said, "He passed away some time ago, so it's nice to talk about them together."

"I see," Jude said. "I apologize for your lost" hearing this made Lyon smile.

"it's alright," he said, "we might be a while, so I'd get comfortable."

"What do ya know" a voice called. They turned to see Mary Hughs standing over them "it was just like Samuel said it would go," she gave a wicked smile

"You need to go," Lyon whispered. "I don't like where this is going"

above them, in the sky, a man stood atop a giant octopus. He shook his head as he stood up; he could feel the magic power in the air "fools," h muttered. The octopus soon landed on the ground scaring the group

"Oh Byro," Hughes said, "I have the target in sight," she muttered

"I see that," he said before he blocked an attack from Wendy. He smiled as the girl jumped back "you are present," he said, "hand over the suitcase" he said

"no" Michelle said as her body froze, she turned to see Mary Hughes making her walk to him

"Please," Jude asked, "why are you doing this" he shouted "if you have to take anyone," he said, "take me instead."

"As much as I admire your bravery," Byro told him, "That is unnecessary, he said as he jumped down, grabbing the suitcase."

"Oh no, you don't," Lyon shouted "{Ice make: snow tiger}" he called as Byro moved his arm, destroying the magic turning it into smoke. He then opened the case pulling out a small object that was wrapped in bandages. He looked it over as Jude backed up in fear.

"Ah sweet," Hughes said, "the archbishop is totally going to freak," Hughs said"

"Archbishop," Wendy asked.

"We have it," Byro said "summon the other we're leaving," he said as the octopus started to rise.

"Hey, get back here," Wendy shouted. as Lily moved to help her fly to stop him, only for Byro to wave his wand again, Lily wings deactivated, forcing the duo to fall, landing on Lyon

"The clock hand," Byro said, "is finally ours," he said as he started to leave Hughes, grabbing the octopus stuck her tongue out as she left them behind everywhere else. Members of the mysterious attack looked to the sky as they slowly started to leave. Coco looked at Freed and Bickslow before waving goodbye. Jumping away, Sugerboy stood next to her as they left.

"What was that" Wendy asked

"a sign," Jude told her solemnly

"That the holy war is about to begin."

who are these mysterious attacks, and why has Jude Heartfilia appeared with a mysterious request from Wendy? A war is on the horizon as seven years of peace come to an end. Will Wendy be up to this task alone find out next time on a fairy tail re-told
