Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Wendy: we received a job request from Jude Heartfilia and Michelle Lobster

Lily: but we were attacked by someone shady characters, and they stole the briefcase

Wendy: you weren't joking when you said trouble finds us

Lily: you thought I was lying

Wendy: no, not fully

"The legion platoon," Kinana asked. It was nighttime. Well, after all the fighting had died down, Master Makarov had since arrived at the request of Freed and Bickslow to explain the situation to everyone "aren't they with Zentopia."

"Who's that gramps," Wendy asked.

"Zentopia," Makarov told her, "A religious group the is most influential religion in the Kingdom of Fiore." Makarov told her, "It's like a small independent state. In fact, Zentopia and its churches are almost independent of Fiore, at the point that they have their own military force, those lads you meet earlier today are their legion platoon." scratching his beard, he shook his head. "But what could they want the briefcase that Jude brought you."

"I haven't the foggiest idea," Jude admitted. "I hoped to return to my old estate to find some books I left behind," he sighed, "which is why I came to ask for Wendy's assistance."

"I see," Wendy said, "well if you still need, I'll help."

"you sure," Lily asked.

"Yeah," Wendy said, placing down her drink before slamming her fist together, "besides, I need to give those jerks some payback for the stunt they pulled"

Key of the starry heaven

"We need to make sense of what you're facing," Lily said, "they mentioned a holy war," he said, looking at his feet, "and the clock hand what's its importance."

"Maybe they want to create chaos," Bickslow said, "no more rules."

"Then could it be another grand magic world thing" Wendy muttered "we know that Hades tried to create a new world through Zeref. Maybe Zentopia is trying the same thing."

"Rules are in place to protect people's freedoms," Makarov told them. "Without them, people would be in a constant state of fear."

"So, we just find these guys and make em talk," Wendy ask

"I doubt they'd give that away willingly," Laki said, "but can't you track them."

"Naw," Wendy told her, "That clock had messed with my nose," she said, "makes it hard to track anything."

Miles away, Lahar and a few men of the magic custody enforcement unit stood guard over one of three churches "sir," one said, "or troops at the other two churches report nothing yet," he said "are you sure this will be the ones that are attacked" he asked, "what if it's the other ones."

"That is a possibility," Lahar told him. "However, looking at all the data and string of churches that were hit," Lahar looked away, "we were able to narrow it down to these three"

"Is there anyone inside?" someone asked.

"No," Lahar told him, "The priest assured me that it's empty."

Inside the church, a single man sat at the base of an altar. Soon the sounds of laughter could be heard as he looked back "stay back," he screamed. "I won't go down quietly," he shouted.

"Please," the mysterious man said, "go down as loudly as you want." a scream soon came from the building getting the magic enforcement unit's attention as they rushed.

"Now," Lahar shouted, "inside" before they could move, lighting flashed around the church before the church blew up, sending everyone flying back.

"Well, well," a voice called, "it's the magic enforcement and custody unit" everyone looked to see a mechanical bear; he has a large pink head, with a zipper running across his chin to the lower part of his mouth. His arms have a metallic color with stripes, and his hands are in blue gloves. His upper body is blue, which consists of a slot machine with a golden lever. His lower body is green and is separated from the upper by a jagged violet line running through his body. Behind him are blue lights attached by a large yellow ring. "Do the big higher up know you're out past your bedtime."

"What is that thing."

"Are you the one behind the church's burning" Lahar shouted, "who are you."

"Jackpots, the name," he screamed, "and I just want to play a game," he called as he pulled a lever. His chest started to move until it landed on several pots making several pots landed on a few of the magic council members. he then pulled out a lever which landed on a lightning bolt "oh, another jackpot," he shouted as lightning struck him, making him jump back "later cronies" he called as he vanished.

"What was that" someone said

"Well, we know who is being the attacks on the churches," Lahar said, "but seeing that this was all a game to him," he shook his head, "we need to figure out what was going on."

In another location, several men walked along a large open path "he had another nightmare," someone said

"we've tried everything," another said, "but the archbishop keeps having this nightmare."

"It happened again, "one asked.

"Yes," the archbishop said, "it was the same dream" he shook his head, "to think such vision would spring from my mind." he stood. "I must start to regulate my sleep," he said

"But sir," one said, "sleep is essential to maintaining your health."

"I know," the archbishop, "but such is the burden of leadership; as the archbishop of Zentopia, this duty falls to me."

Makarov stood in front of a communication Lacrima Freed and Bickslow stood behind him as he talked with the person "somethings come up," Makarov said, "there something I need to figure out."

"And you want my help," the person on the Lacrima said it was Cosmos. "I'll have to see if I can get away," she said, "but master Makarov," she said, "if you don't mind me asking, what's the trouble."

"I'd rather tell it to you in person," Makarov said, "meet me at these coordinates, and we'll talk there."

Cosmos gave him a small wink "if you say so," she said. "I'll let you know," she said as her image disappeared.

"So master," Bickslow asked, "you need us for anything else."

"No," Makarov said, "I want you to remain here and try to help Wendy," he said

I understand master Makarov" Freed said, "but you and I both know that Wendy isn't too big on help."

"This might be bigger than she can handle," he said, turning to them, "so I want you to stay and help her out the best you can," he said "there is something wrong with all this, so I don't want her going into this all on her own" he looked into the distance before a smile came over his face "she reminds me of Natsu after Lisanna died." he said "cold distant, and the best way to remind someone of how much they mean to others is to be there even when they don't want it."

"I understand," he said "please, master," Freed said, bowing, "be safe on your journey."

"Please," Makarov said, "I am one of the ten wizard saints' boys" he shook his head, walking away, "do everything you can to assist Wendy."

"Understood," Bickslow and Freed said

"So," Kinana said, walking up to them, "it's about to begin," she asked to which Freed and Bickslow nodded. "I'll start gathering wizards," she said, "but we're spread pretty thin."

"And we don't want to catch the eye of the magic council either," Freed said, "so let's keep the circle small."

"Understood," Kinana said. "I'll let Miko know to expect an influx of guests," Kinana said. She looked into the distance Wendy and her clients had left earlier going grab the object they needed

"Good luck, Wendy."

"Woah," Wendy said in shock as she approached the large mansion, "Lucy grew up here," she said in amazement "how rich was she" this was enough to get a laugh out of Jude and Michelle.

"Ah, being here brings back so many memories," Michelle said, "Cousin Lucy and I would play so many games," she smiled "it was like living in a palace."

"Well, I can see why," Lily said. "This place is enormous; it reminds me of the royal palace back in edolas."

"I swear if there's an amusement park hidden away in here," Wendy muttered, "in any case, what are we looking for while we're here."

"Please," Jude said, "follow me" he then motioned for them to follow as they walked into the house "while the property was seized, a great many things we had had to be left behind. Hopefully, it is all still here" he stopped many memories filling his mind the time he and Layla spent together, watching Lucy. He stopped the darker memories filling his head. Seeing them off quickly, he continued through the mansion.

"Hey, what's this" Wendy asked as she came to covered by a sheet removing it was a small painting of a younger Lucy along with her mother and father the part near Lucy was ripped, so Wendy lifted it to see that Lucy was holding a small doll "Lucy" Wendy muttered.

"I remember when we painted that," Jude said fondly "man, how times have changed" he looked away as he started to leave "come, my main office should be this way" Wendy nodded. "You know," Jude said, getting the girl's attention, "I never stopped thinking about her," he said

"What do you mean," Wendy asked

[##Tragic ost##]

"I haven't stopped believing that one day," he said "one day she will return," he said, shocking Wendy. It had been at least five years since she stopped believing that, hoping by some miracle that Mavis was able to get them off Tenrou Island, and they were just resting on some remote location and would find a way back home.

"Can you really believe that" Wendy muttered

"Yes," he said, "don't you?"

"I want to, but" Wendy sighed, "if I held onto that hope, I don't think I would have gotten very far" she glanced at Lily, who had the same thoughts she did, "I think after everything is just tiring."

"I can understand," Jude said, "but I can't explain it. I just know that" Jude stopped. "I know that my daughter will return," he smiled. "I just hope that I can see her," he said, "one more time."

Wendy smiled. She could relate to that if anything. She wanted to see all of them one more time, but the people she really wanted to see were Carla, her best friend, who has been with her ever since she went to Cait Shelter. Erza, the big sister she never knew she wanted, and Natsu, her sworn brother and the closest thing to family she had out all of them. how much she wanted to see them again. "I understand the feeling" was all she said

"Sorry if I brought down the mood," Jude said as he led them to his office. Before he could go any further, he started to let out a violent cough as Michelle rushed to his side. "oh, forgive me," he smiled. "I guess the trip was harder on me than I thought."

"You should rest," Michelle said

"Now is not the time," he said "we must gather everything we need," he said as he grabbed two books, one reading to my daughter, and another was a small book "here" he "this has all the information we will need for the future he said as he also took a small slip placing it in his pocket.

"So, mind telling me what this is," Wendy asked as he grabbed another book one read, Key of the Starry Heavens. The other she quite couldn't read it but was more focused on the other on it had an odd feeling and art style that creeped her out "that books make me nervous."

"You see," Jude started before the door busted open Wendy jumped in front of them with Lily right behind her as someone walked through it.

"Would be so kind as to hand it over," a vice said a small light blue exceed walked through the door.

"Who are you," Wendy asked.

"I am the brains of the legions platoon," he said "you may call me Samuel, now hand over the book," he said

"Not on your life," Wendy shouted "{Sky dragons: roar}" Wendy screamed as she let out an attack, but someone jumped in the way, making the attack back, making everyone jumped out of the way.

"What was that" Lily shouted, "somehow, the attack came back."

"That was me," a voice called. A thick armor over his body consists of a metallic breastplate that extends down to his knees, making the lower extension appear as a long skirt, while he also wears shoulder pads and gauntlets on his arms. He also wears armor to cover his legs. Underneath it all, he wears a black sweater with dark pants, the latter being covered slightly with a dark green skirt, as well as brown shoes. "I'm the spear of the legion platoon, the names Dan straight, and that was my Ricochet; it can send any attack you send at me right back."

"Oh really," Wendy asked

"Wendy," Lily said

"Get them out of here," she said, "whatever these guys want, we can't let them have it."

"Alright," Lily said

"All you bastard, have to have cheap tricks," Wendy muttered. She got ready to attack

[## Sanin no dragon slayer ost##]

"you're going down," Wendy screamed "{sky dragons: wing attack}" she screamed as her attack landed, creating a large wind. Lily using this, led Jude and Michelle out of the room as Wendy landed on the ground as Samuel looked at Lily, glancing at each other as they left the room.

"Dan," Samuel shouted, "take care of the girl; I'll get the book."

"You got it" Dan shouted as he swung his sword. Wendy jumped out of the way. Wendy then landed a kick on his shield, which was enough to send her back.

"What the hell" Wendy screamed as Dan landed on the ground poking it with his sword, causing the ground to shoot up, crashing into Wendy, forcing her against the bookshelf "what kind of magic is this" Wendy shouted as the sword narrowly missed her head? she let out a scream as he moved to the side

"Hey, that scream was kind of cute," Dan said, "how about after all this over, we spend some time together."

"Not on your life, bub," Wendy screamed.

"Ah, oh well," Dan said, "until we meet again, miss Marvell" he laughed as he tapped the books with his swords, making them grow in size, crashing them into the ground.

"Wait, what" Wendy screamed.

Lily flew ahead while Jude and Michelle heard a loud crash as the trip stopped looking up to see Wendy screaming as she fell through the roof landing near them, making Michelle drop the Key to the starry sky book as Samuel arrived, picking it up "oh no" Lily shouted as Samuel looked over the book a smile coming over his face.

"What the hell" Wendy screamed.

"That would be my spear, the Habaraki," Dan said "it can shrink and enlarge anything it touches" he smiled.

"I have everything we need," Samuel said, tossing the book down "come now," he said, "let's get moving."

"Until we meet again," he said, "let's go out sometime."

"I already told you no ya perve," Wendy screamed.

"Damn it," Lily said as he looked over Jude and Michelle, "are you too okay."

"we're fine," Jude said. "Michelle, are you alright."

"I'm fine, Uncle Jude," she said as she picked up the book. I'm sorry," she said

"it's okay," Wendy said, "but they seem to be one step ahead of us."

"I think it's that exceed," Lily said "we need to hurry," as they looked at Jude and Michelle.

"I think it's time you told me exactly what's going on," Wendy said

"Yes," Jude said, "I think I do owe you that much."

"So uh," Kinana asked as Wendy looked over the book in front of her Michelle had the other in hand "why are you reading a children's book," she asked, "not that I'm judging."

"Oh, sod off," Wendy shouted. "I just wanted to get a look at it," Wendy said, "and let me tell you, no book I would read to my kid."

"Yes," Jude confirmed, "there's more fact than fiction in its pages," he said, "a young girl travels the world in search of six Keyes, said to bring her happiness" his smile gave way to one of fear and anger coming over it as he looked at the book "however by doing that she ends up causing despair everywhere she went."

Kinana snatching the book from Wendy looked it over "why is this children's book."

"It might be more of a warning than a children's book," Jude said. "I have no real way of knowing," he let out a tired sigh "it's a shame, but the author was said to have some connection with the clock pieces in that book" a smile then came over his face " and I do know is that location in that book are very real," he said, "and that he must have hidden the other five keys in those spots."

"It might be dangerous," Wendy said, "but if you're going after those clock pieces, I'll come with," she said

"you'll need help with that," Freeds voice cut in "the Legion platoon is already ahead of you, and master Makarov said there was something off about all this" he smiled as he watched Wendy grumble, looking away "you can't search for all these keys by yourself."

"I know," Wendy said

"Then come on," Freed said, "allow us to help you with this mission."

letting out a grizzled sigh Wendy nodded her head as everyone in the pub cheered, making the girl blush a bit Kinana placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a warm smile, "whatever, let's just gather a team or whatever."

"we'll have to split up for this to work," Freed said, "and I had to call some outside help."

"Fine," Wendy said, "so we have five keys, that makes five teams."

"Yes," Freed confirmed, "hopefully, it will be a simple endeavor."

You know," Bickslow said, "I don't think we ever worked together, Lily" the pair were on a rocky mountain, and we're paired up for this mission. "I think we can do great."

"Yes," Lily said, "though I'm surprised we ended up together, you and Freed typically are together."

"Yeah," Bickslow said, "but he felt for this key I would be the best for it" he gave a smile, "you too."

"I see," Lily said, "well, I look forward to working with you." thunder soon sounded in the distance, making him jump in the sky, landing on Bisklow's shoulder as the man laughed, "why did it have to be thunder" he shouted.

"Hey, we got all got fears, man," Bickslow said

"It is not a fear," Lily said, hoping down, "I can conquer this fear" he started moving, the sound of thunder in the distance making him squirm. "I can do it," Lily screamed, "don't worry, Gajeel, I will beat this."

"You do that, cat man," Bickslow smiled "you got this."

Elsewhere Laki stomped through the forest. next to her was a silent Lyon "mind telling me why you're here, guild boy," she asked, anger in her voice

"What," Lyon said, "I was still in town and figured I'd help Wendy out."

"Sure," Laki said, "whatever you say," she grumbled, looking away, "so that you know, no matter what you do, we aren't joining a guild."

"I'm not going to force you," Lyon said smiling "that is a decision you all need to make for yourself."

"Well, aren't you all sunshine and rainbows" Laki growled

"Is there a problem here, miss?" Lyon said, "or are you jealous of my superior maker magic skill" he teased, "if you want advice, I can be of assistance."

"Oh please," Laki said, rolling her eyes, "as I would ever be jealous of the party trick you call ice make magic" a teasing grin grew on her face as she looked him up and down "in fact, I've seen better ice make magic from a newborn baby," she said trying to hide her fake laughter as Lyon looked the other way.

"Yes," Lyon said, "and if I recall, didn't Sugerboy best you the other day."

"Oh, you did not," Laki muttered as sparks flew between the two.

"Anyone can carve a piece of wood," Lyon shouted, "calling that magic art is foolish."

"As if you can talk," Laki shouted, "you don't need magic to carve up some ice.

"Unlike you," Lyon shot back, "my magic has flair" he then walked forward "now, if you don't mind, we should get to finding the remaining clock pieces," Lyon said, "word is spreading quickly, and you don't want guilds getting involved."

"Yeah," Laki said, "and I wonder how that happened."

"It wasn't me," Lyon said "maybe it was the legion platoon," he smiled at her. "So how about you just sit back, let me handle this" this earned a large punch from the girl as she marched forward.

"As if ice boy," she shouted. as she came up to a cliff, "this must be the place."

"So, we have arrived," Lyon said, "and do you have any idea how we're getting in."

"Oh, I thought you would know since you are so amazing."

"Are you done" Lyon shouted

"nope"

Alzack and Bisca walked ran through a large field "so you think Asuka will be fine."

"Miko said she wouldn't mind watching her while on the job," Bisca said, "hopefully, she behaves herself."

"I'm just surprised Wendy asked for help," Alzack said, "according to Kinana, she typically handles everything by herself."

"Yeah, it is a change" Bisca looked around. The air was quiet "ya know, Hun," she said, "this place would make for an excellent spot for a picnic" she smiled "after everything calmed down, we should bring Asuka here to make up for having to leave again so soon" she said, "this place is a lovely spot for a picnic." she smiled "wouldn't you agree."

"Yeah," Alzack said, looking around, "I think she'd like that."

Freed and Kinana walked in silence. Instead of her regular outfit, she was now in a small green shirt and a blue jacket with light grey pants with slippers. She walked behind Freed, who had yet to say anything.

"So," Freed said, "I had no idea you had taken up wizarding."

"Yeah," Kinana told him, "I was learning it when" Kinana stopped. "I wanted it to be a surprise for Mira."

"I see," Freed said, "I'm sure she would be very proud of you, Kinana."

"You think so," Kinana asked. Freed nodded as the pair passed a cliff. She looked into the distance; she thought about going to Tenrou Island before shaking her head walking forward. 'I hope you're watching over me, Mira,' she said, 'just give me your strength. That's all I need.'

"why" Wendy moaned as she fell to the ground. Next to her was Jude, and Michelle both looking at her with concerned looks as Romeo walked up to her "why did we have to take a boat" she said, "my stomach, Hates me."

"Is she going to be okay," Michelle asked.

"Yeah," Romeo said, "she just gets motioned sick."

"Ah," Jude said, "I remember in one of the letters Lucy sent mentioned that her friend Natsu had the same problem," he said, "but I thought she had a spell to negate that."

"Yeah," Romeo said, "but I think she forgot to use it," he said, looking at Wendy as she leaned over the railing "let's just hope we don't run into the legion platoon while we're on the boat," he said as Wendy hurled up more of her lunch.

"Why," she muttered, "why did it have to be a boat."

"I must say, old friend," a voice called, "you sure do keep interesting company these days" he was a middle-aged man of average height and build. He has a stern look and stout facial features, with a large purple beard accompanied by a mustache of the same color crowning his face and prominent curvy eyebrows. He sports long purple hair which reaches down to his middle-back and is tied in a loose ponytail at his neck. His whole attire primarily consists of garments in this particular light brownish color: he wears a loose-fitting pocket vest with the sleeves rolled up, held in place at his waist by a leather belt, accompanied by baggy pants adorned with the same kinds of pockets, and long black boots. He also sports long red wrist bands and a white scarf tied loosely around his neck. "They are an interesting bunch."

"Yes," he said, "you could say that" he looked to the group "this is my old Friend Jean-Luc Neville."

"Can he stop the boat" Wendy groaned out

"My friend," he said, "are you sure you should be traveling in your condition" there was concern in his voice.

"I know," he said, "but I have to see this through," Jude sighed "at first, I thought that I would have enough money to have a guild do it with me, but these days."

"I understand," Jean said, "but remember these tombs can be perilous and dangerous," he said "are you sure you're wizarding friends can handle this."

"I can," Wendy shouted, standing up before her motion sickness kicked in again, making her fall over, "just so long as I'm off this boat." everyone around her let out a laugh as Jean turned to Jude.

"Well, since you're going, I must ask," a sudden look of seriousness coming over his face, "do plan on using it."

"I don't know," Jude replied "however, I do know that I will do my best to find it," he smiled at him, "and I'll be counting on you to decipher what it is."

Jean smiled "of course, old friend" he smiled.

"Can we get off the boat now" Wendy groaned again, making everyone laugh at the girl's situation.

"Yes, I do believe it so," Jean said, looking into the sky
