Also, I've been going back and correcting a few mistakes I found, changing Ino's Devil Fruit name. That sort of stuff… I'm up to chapter 157, though I plan to do a fix up of chapter 158 after posting this… It's also on AO3 with the same amount of chapters… so yeah…

Chapter 379: Whitebeard's Crews

It had begun… The war was about to begin… AFTER ALL there was no way Whitebeard was just going to let Ace die…

So of course things were going down.

On the ship of Luffy and Naruto's group however.

Ivankov realized something… After all Dragon wouldn't take it sitting down if one of his sons was in danger.

Granted he knew that Naruto wasn't Dragon's son.

"Hey…" said Ivankov to Luffy.

"What?" asked Luffy.

"I mean if I know Dragon he will save his son…" said Ivankov.

"Oh… yeah…" said Naruto.

"Ace as a different dad that me too." Said Luffy.

"Really?" asked Ivankov.

"Yeah his dad is Gold Roger." Said Luffy.

"WHAT!" yelled everyone on the ship.

As it was clear that they didn't know.

"Look like your brother broke them…" said Kyubi.

"Yeah…" thought Naruto with a sweat drop.

Back in Marineford…

Things were tense as the whale like ship at appeared.

And things only got more tense when Whitebeard punched the air… causing cracks to appear… shocking many people.

However things only got worse as everything began to shake like an earthquake. When things calmed down he begged Whitebeard to leave saying that after all this was this was his fault.

However the crew stood by his side saying that Whitebeard sent him on the mission.

Plus it didn't help the Marines as thanks to the strange shaking that Whitebeard had caused a tsunami was about to hit them.

Which were caused by his Devil Fruit the Tremor Tremor Fruit.

"The fact that we outnumber them doesn't guarantee victory!" yelled Sengoku, "They could still wipe us out! That man has the power the wipe out the while world!"

And soon the massive tsunami was about to hit them.

However the Admirals had a plan to stop it… or rather one admiral had a plan to stop the tsunami.

Aokiji froze the tsunami quite easily and froze the ocean surrounding them.

"Aokiji you upstart." Said Whitebeard.

And soon the fight between the two began.

It was a fight between two power houses after all…

Aokiji jumped in to fight.

However Whitebeard was ready for him.

He used his Devil Fruit again… shattering Aokiji.

He was fine thanks to his Devil Fruit… but still…

However with the ship trapped in ice the Marines started to fire on the ship.

The higher ranked members of the crew jumped in for a fight.

However they were met with various vice admirals ready for a fight.

As the fight was just getting Mihawk let loose a powerful blow.

The blast was extraordinarily powerful.

But then something stopped it, and that something was a when one of the Division Leaders of Whitebeard's crew, Jozu took the hit.

He had turned half of his body into diamond..

But that was when Kizaru made a move, shining a light on the battlefield.

But then another division leader Macro made his move.

Bu sprouting wings of blue fire!

As it turned out he ate what was known as a Mythical Zoan Fruit… and he turned into a Phenix.

The two had a brief areal battle.

The marines then sent in their Giants! Yes they had a squad of giants.

But then Jozu lifted a massive chunk of ice and threw it at the Marines

However it was Akainu who was ready for it… thanks his Devil Fruit Power…

He created a giant fist made out of lava and punched/melted the massive iceberg.

Back with the team from Impel Down…

Kyubi suddenly shuddered.

"What's wrong?" thought Naruto.

"Just a bad feeling and hoping that something won't come to pass." Said Kyubi.

Naruto knew it had something to with Ace and internally agreed with the demon inside of him .

Back at Marineford…

The chunks of lava not only destroyed the ice berg but flew to the Moby Dick.

But Whitebeard stood strong impaling one of the fiery rocks with his spear.

The battle became fierce! However there was an ally on Whitebeard's side that was surprising.

Little Oars JR…. Who was a decedent of the original Oars… Who was that giant that was turned into a zombie and given Luffy's shadow.

And with Moria there, of course he wanted the massive giant's corpse to use for a future giant.

The massive giant made a path through the fight. Tossing one of the Marine Ships back at them.

Thank to Oars the White Beard Pirates having a much easier time and the fight was mess between the three factions:

The Marines, Whitebeard and Hancock…

Yeah… she was attacking both Marines and Pirates in the fight as the only man she cared about was Luffy…

Combined with the fact she didn't want to be there in the first place…

Yeah… it made sense she was fighting for her side and only her side…

Still Oars made his way to safe Ace, even shrugging off the attacks from the other giants.

However he soon hit a problem… Kuma… who created a shockwave with his Devil Fruit power hitting the Giant Hard.

And the giant deeply cared for Ace, Ace once made him a hat that loved.

Dispute his injury he still tried to reach Ace…

Only it gotten worse… as the Marines started to fire on him.

Oars was focused on saving Ace no matter.

And he knew he had to take out one of the War Lords…

Unfortunately… it would be more of the Ward Lords that would be his undoing…

As Doflamingo did something that cut off Oars' legs!

Followed by Moria using some shadows to impale him.

Things were not looking good for Whitebeard's side…

After all they just lost one of their biggest assists… Yeah… that meant size…

Still what they didn't know was the group that was coming closer… a group that would change everything for this fight…

"Seriously…" said Kyubi as they got close with Luffy staring to make his plans with the others.

"What?" asked Naruto.

"I know there are some people there from the other side of things… but at the moment no one could be fitting in…" said Kyubi.

"What?" asked Minato also confused.

Naruto just sighed at the demon.

"Just never mind... focus on whatever nonsense your brother had planned." Said Kyubi.

But still the battle was already huge mess and no matter what happened, it would continue to be so…
