Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told; the race for the clock pieces continues. Lyon and Laki have secured the first piece but will our other heroes be able to overcome the unusual magic that the legion platoon uses. "How the hell, you dorks, get down here so fast," Wendy shouted as Dan and Coco walked up to them, "I thought this place was closed off, hell it's underneath the desert." her luck was indeed the worse. Still, she had to stand firm. Whatever the legion platoon was planning, she wouldn't allow them to get away with it. "Romeo, stay on your guard. This one is dangerous."
"We meet again," Dan started. "Lovely Wendy"
"Don't you ever call me that again" Wendy shouted
"Not the most embarrassing pet name," Romeo muttered
"Samuel was able to tell us where this tomb was based on his one time reading the book," Coco said, ignoring Dan's antics "you losers don't stand a chance against us" she smiled as everyone behind Wendy backed up "so why don't you give up."
"Not on your life," Wendy shouted. "I've been waiting for a chance to get some payback."
"Really now," Dan said, "man beautiful and feisty," Dan said, "you are a real catch, Wen Wen."
"Okay, even I have to admit that was bad," Coco said, "and stop flirting with the enemy."
"But don't you see," Dan started, "this is love," he said, stars in his eyes "fate has brought us together L. O. V. E."
"Now I know How Carla must have felt when she first met Happy," Wendy muttered as she backed up." then again, Happy was a bit more tact with his declarations of love" Wendy felt herself smile at the memories seeing Happy trying to woo Carla. Though she stopped rejecting him after the events in Edolas, the feline would get embarrassed and or dodge the question. She stared at Dan "you can say what you want. Still, I'm taking you jerks down," Wendy said, getting their attention.
"I'm all fired up."
Myths of trials
"So, my love," Dan started, "what do you say we begin to water our garden of love."
"As if," Wendy shouted.
"Hold on," Coco shouted "have you lost it? We need to find the clock piece," she cried.
"You go look for it. I'm busy."
"Samuel gave you all the details," Coco shouted back. "I don't even know where to start looking."
"Take this," Wendy shouted, landing a kick on him, making Dan slide back a bit as he turned to face her.
"I know," Dan said as he raised his spear, "I'll shrink you down that way you won't get hurt during all the fighting," he told her, a grin plastered on his face.
"what" Wendy then dodged as Dan tried to strike her with his spear "hey, hold on," Wendy shouted "don't just go poking that thing around," Wendy screamed as she dodged all of Dan's strikes. " Come on, I don't want to be tiny again," Wendy shouted. "Romeo, do something."
"What does she want me to do" Romeo asked
"I don't know," Jude said
"a wedding," Michelle said "oh, it would be lovely," she said, stars in her eyes again, "and I bet that Wendy would look adorable all tiny."
"Not helping," Wendy shouted as she dodged another strike "how about you help me out here."
"Wait," Michelle said, "we need to start planning," she said, looking around "hell, we can have the main part of the ceremony now," she said, getting Dan's attention making him stop his assault on Wendy, the girl behind her taking in a breath of fresh air. "This place is historic, sacred, and beautiful," Michelle started as Dan nodded next to her "this is going to be the biggest day of your lives."
"Umm, Michelle," Romeo asked.
"Forgive her," Jude said, "the girl always loved weddings."
"Oh, kinda reminds me of Mira," Rome said, smiling at how the girl would get when someone would bring up a wedding so much so that Natsu or Mavis would have to rein her in. He would never forget the window shatter indent. So many broken windows made him shudder just thinking about it.
"This is the perfect place," Dan started.
"This is a musty old tomb," Wendy said, "and don't even like you like that," she shouted.
"We have to think about guests," Michelle went on. "I'm thinking some from her side, some from your side, so fifty-fifty."
"Yeah, I don't mind," Dan said
"Do I even get a say in this" Wendy shouted
"The sun is rising on the rest of your lives," Michelle said, "and who are we to try to put a stop to it." she smiled "ah, stories of your undying love will inspire future stargazers. To name a constellation after you."
"This is getting ridiculous," Coco muttered.
"you're telling me," Wendy said, "I didn't even get a say in this" shaking her head, she turned to the girl. "I'm guessing you've learned to live with it."
"Nope," Coco muttered, "not at all."
"Yes," Dan shouted; however, soon, a really odd smell started to come from his armor "what is this," he asked, "talk about a way to sour the mood" he looked over to see Romeo standing underneath him a lime green flame coming from his hand. "Oh, my nostrils there burning, what is this" he shouted as everyone else started to back up.
"Romeo," Wendy shouted, covering her nose unlike everyone else; she had the worst thanks to her dragon slayer senses, "a little warning next time, kid.
"Sorry," Romeo said
"Stop that kid," Dan shouted. He tried to strike Romeo as Wendy rushed in, grabbing him dragging him out of the way before landing a kick on his shield that attacks, forcing him to fly back.
"Enough of this" Wendy shouted
"you're going down."
"So, uh Lily," Bickslow asked, "why didn't we just fly straight to the top."
"According to the map, this is the best way up," lily said "however, I don't want to miss any important clues we might find while going there," he said. "Jude was particular when he gave us all the information."
"Yeah, I get that," Bickslow said, "but I don't think I see anything."
"Just be patient," Lily said
"I guess," Bickslow said, looking into the distance, "Hey, I've always been meaning to ask you, why don't you stay in your giant form."
"I've gotten used to being this small," Lily said "that, and it takes magic power to maintain, and I guess the magic here is different from that of Edolas, so it takes a toll on it."
"Hmm," Bickslow said, "that makes sense," he said. Looking around, he could see how the desert was calm. It made him smile "don't get me wrong, your Edolas sounds like a fun place," Bickslow started, "but I don't think it'll ever beat a view like this," he said, still gazing in the horizon. "Yeah, this is the place I wouldn't mind living the rest of life in, that's for sure."
Lily smiled at the comment over the years even after Tenrou Island; he had come to enjoy this place he had started to call home though he would be the first to admit how much he missed his homeland in the end, he could say he found a new one.
"Yeah," Lily muttered.
"It is a nice place to call home," Lily said as he came to the top, looking around.
"I don't see anything," Bickslow said "are you sure we climbed the right mountain," he asked.
"I think so," Lily said, looking over the map "oh no," Lily said, "I was wrong," he said, "we did climb the wrong mountain; it actually that one over there. he pointed towards an extremely high mountain that had lighting surrounding it
"Not funny, man," Bickslow muttered.
"Eh, worth a shot," Lily said, "it might be underground."
"Well then," Bickslow said, "let's get started."

"Romeo," Wendy shouted, "start looking for the clock piece," she called. "I'll hold lover boy and Coco here," she exclaimed.
"You got it," Romeo said as he ran to where Jude and Michelle were standing. "Come on," he said, "let's find the clock piece. Wendy can handle them." the group then started to run off.
"Oh no, you don't," Coco shouted as she started to run after them
"Hey, get back here," Wendy called before Dan struck at him again, making her jump to the side as she turned to stare at him, a smug look on his face
"Ah-ah," Dan said, "you and I got a lot to talk about Wen Wen."
"don't call me that," Wendy growled out "fine then," Wendy said, "I'll pound your face in first."
"Give me that book," Coco shouted as she jumped over Jude, trying to grab the book as Romeo jumped in front of them using his fire to make her back up as he stood in front of them "get out of my way, kid" Coco shouted.
"Not on your life," he screamed as he attacked her again with his fire as she jumped over him, landing on the ground making cave in Rome tried to grab them but missed Jude as he and Coco fell into a pit.
"Uncle Jude," Michelle shouted. She looked to see that the book he was carrying had fallen out of his hand "oh no," she said, "Uncle Jude, are you okay.
"I'll be fine, Michelle," Jude called. He looked to see Coco trying to stand up. He reached out a hand to help her up "do you need help, my dear."
"No," Coco said, still trying to stand up on her own, "I'm not going to accept help from the enemy."
"that's fair," Jude said, starting to walk away; seeing this, Coco looked around before walking in the same direction. as the pair walked in awkward silence, the only sounds being their footprints as they walked through the lower parts of the tombs
Coco looked the man up and down. He was odd. However, she felt like she had seen him somewhere before it was racking her brain to find out who it was then as she looked at his pocket. 'Wait a minute she said, "you're Jude Heartfilia." she all but shouted at him, making the man wince as she looked him up and down. "that's where I saw you before you own the Heartfilia railways," she shouted "why are you here with such lowly wizards.
"So many questions," Jude laughed "well," he said, thinking back to his past as the CEO of his company Layla's death, how he treated Lucy, her running away "you should know that a few investors bought my company from under me," he said "and well let's just say I'm living up to a promise I made an old friend," Jude said
"Well, you must be out of your depths," Coco said
"You could say that," Jude said
"Well, don't get too heartbroken when I get there first," Coc said, pride in her voice as Jude just laughed.
"You know," he said, "you almost remind me of my daughter" he smiled
"daughter" Coco asked
"Ah, nothing," Jude said, walking forward, "no need to worry about it" as he walked forward; however, Coco ran ahead wanting to know before accidentally setting off a trap as Jude pushed her out the way before the rocks crushed them.
"Sorry about that," she said
"No, it's alright," he said. Soon the two were outside again.
"So," Coco asked, "is the girl you were traveling with your daughter," Coco asked, hoping to find out more.
"Ah no," Jude said, "she's my niece, so to speak," Jude said, "my daughter er Lucy" he smiled at the memory, "the reason I mentioned that is well, I haven't seen her in a while."
"Why not," Coco asked.
"You see," Jude started, "she and her friends disappeared some time ago," he said, a look of sorrow coming over Coco's face "her friend Wendy was the only survivor," he said
"I'm sorry," Coco said
"No, it's alright," Jude said, a smile coming over his face. "I do not doubt in my mind that she may return one day," Jude told her, "And hopefully, I'll be able to see her again."
Hearing this made Coco look at him skeptically. First off, what happened that made her daughter disappear? She was curious now "so umm," Coco asked "what happened? I mean, how did she disappear," she asked as they walked up the stairs.
"I don't have all the details," Jude said "like I said, "the Wizard I'm with and her friend are the only ones who survived, but they told us that that the black dragon destroyed the Island they were on." he smiled "and I guess you have her determination," he said "I imagine that if the two of you were to meet you would become a fast friend.
"Oh," Coco said as they came to a wall, there was a small statue in front of it as they looked it over, she ran up to touch it a Jude tried to react the rubble above them caved in landing on top of her knocking her out as Jude smiled at the girl.
"Uncle Jude," a voice called. He looked up "are you okay," she asked, smiling at her looking down; he looked over the poor girl. He smiled as he bent down to pick her up hours later; Coco came to she sat up, seeing that Jude had treated her injuries. a smile found its way to her face as she looked into the distance
"That was nice of you, Uncle Jude," Michelle said
"Yes," Jude said, "even though we may be on the opposite side, it doesn't mean we should leave them to suffer, my dear."
"I guess," Romeo said, "reminds me of something Mavis would say, all it takes is one act of kindness, and today's enemy could become tomorrow's friend."
"That is some sound advice," Jude said, "this Mavis sounded like a wise individual."
"Yeah," Romeo said, "she was"
several explosions rang out as Wendy and Dan landed across from each other "man," Dan said, impressed, "you're stronger than I'd thought you'd be," he smiled, "but I can't afford to let you win. Here."
Wendy stood up "if you think I'm going down easy, you got another thing coming," she shouted as the two charged at each other
miles away man stood a shadow covering his face behind his where several more people he smiled "looks like everything's going to plan" he said
"Soon, we will bring the world to its knees."
