Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Wendy: the race of the clock pieces is going in our favor

Lily: Yeah, but we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves

Wendy: I'm not when I see any of these legion punks. I'm taking them all down

Lily: that's the spirit

"We meet again," Samuel said "panther Lily was it," he asked, moving his glasses. "I must admit you arrived faster than I expected you to, but it's no matter," Samuel said, "the clock piece will soon be mine anyway."

"I wouldn't count on it," Lily shouted.

"Yeah," Bickslow said, "if you think we're going down that easy, you got another thing coming"

"Yes," Samuel said, " I was expecting you to say that"

Exceeding expectations

"Man," Wendy said, "that thing is huge," she said, "there's no way that Zentopia moved here."

"You have a point," Dan shouted, scaring Wendy making her jump back, "So, you want to go another round," Wendy shouted as she readied her fighting stance

"No," Dan said, "you beat me fair and square, so I promise won't give you any trouble."

"So, tell us what the legion platoon is up to," Wendy shouted

"And who are you anyway," Romeo asked, making Dan perk up

"So, you want to know my backstory," Dan said as he pulled out some cards "don't worry, I'll tell you in great detail," he shouted. "I Dan straight was born in good ol seaport city of Cedar," Dan told them as everyone looked at him very confused, "a town that a group of knights protected, and my family was in those knights, so it was only natural that I joined too," he said "I lived a happy and pampered childhood, filled with camaraderie and Juices. However, a civil war broke out that split the city in two."

"Wow," Romeo said, "I never figured you would have such a messed-up past."

"Your family was torn apart by war," Michelle said, crying "how sad"

"The war ended in a day, so everyone was fine," Dan admitted

"Wow," Wendy said, rolling her eyes

"Just you wait cause the story is about to begin," Dan shouted, scaring her "it was a few years later, and I fell in love with a beautiful maiden that I went to school with," Dan told them. "She was as beautiful as the setting sun, but I had been forced to go to war, and I was never able to see her again."

"Oh no," Michelle said, "she got caught in the fighting."

"She looks like Lucy," Wendy muttered

"There is a resemblance," Jude admitted

"Did you find her body," Romeo asked

"Actually, no," Dan said. "I found her the next day completely fine," he said as everyone in the room deadpanned "however, my undying love for her made her so happy that she found herself feeling unworthy of my love."

"Yeah," Wendy said, "sure."

"So, in the end, I decided to leave town and go on a journey," he said. "I ran across many fair maidens, all of which found with many amazing adventures." Dan smiled

"And let me stop you right there," Wendy said, covering Romeo's ears "there is a child in the room," she said, noting Romeo's blush, "so please keep that in mind."

"So, leaving your home wasn't to find someone that reminded you of your first love," Michelle asked.

"There are plenty of fish in the sea," Dan told her

"This guy has more than a few screws loose," Wendy muttered, "and the pictures which have don't match your story, dude, to me it seems like you keep getting rejected more than Mira would to both Macao and Wakaba," she said miles away both men let out a sneeze before shrugging it off "did someone else draw them"

"Yeah," Dan said, "Sugerboy and Hughes did"

"That explains it," Wendy muttered, "but what I want to know is what the legion platoon is up to"

"Sorry Wendy," he said, "as beautiful as you are, I can't tell you that, Lord Byro punishment would be far worse than anything you could do to me," he said "now what do you say we forget all this holy war stuff and" before Dan could finish Wendy punched him square in the jaw sending him into a wall knocking him out again.

"don't you think that was a little harsh," Jude asked

"Maybe," Wendy said, "but he shouldn't be such a perv," Wendy huffed crossing her arms

"But don't you want to find love," Michelle asked

"I'll find love when I'm good and ready," Wendy shouted at her before backing up "sorry about that."

"No, it's fine," she said

"Geez," Wendy said, "you're worse than Mira."

"Mira," Michelle asked,

"don't worry about it' Wendy told her

"So, we just have to wait for the others," Romeo asked

"Yeah," Wendy asked, "so just relax," she looked around "hey, where's the other one."

"Who Coco," Jude said, "poor thing was injured, so I left her to rest."

"I see," Wendy said "well, one less problem to worry about then," she said, walking away" as Dan got about again, smiling at Wendy, who kicked him away, "would ya stop, I already said no!" she shouted.

Above them, Coco looked at them, seeing Dan antics. She shook her head as she watched him get up again, only for Wendy to knock him out again. 'I need to do something. Still, she looked at Jude. 'I need to focus. I am a member of the legion platoon'. She looked back. "I can find a way."

"Well, Sammie," Bickslow shouted, "if you want the clock piece, you're going to have to fight us," he shouted.

"Please refrain from shortening my name," Samuel told them. "Samuel will do just fine."

"Go find the clock piece," Lily told Bickslow as he pulled out his sword. "I can handle Samuel," he said

"Aright then," Bickslow said, running off, "good luck."

"I must say it is an honor to meet a senior exceed," Samuel said. "I guess that makes us brothers," Samuel said, flying up.

"you're not worthy of calling yourself my brother," Lily shouted, going up as well.

"I heard that during the war in Edolas, you sided with the humans," Samuel said. "I wonder how that betrayal went over with our brethren," Samuel teased "was it worth it."

"I followed my heart," Lily shot back, "so I won't explain myself to you," he shouted as he turned to his battle mode."

"I see" Samuel smiled as his body glowed as well, giving him his own battle mode shocking Lily making him back up. "I'm more than a bookworm with wings, ya know," he shouted, "now come at me, brother" as they two clashed, Bickslow looked amazed.

"Come and face me," Lily shouted as Samuel continued to dodge his attacks.

"a true warrior studies his opponents," Samuel countered "they don't just rush into fights. No, they leave that for cannon fodder" he smiled as he landed an attack on Lily, making him jump back. "I've gone over every outcome in my head there no hope of victory for you," Samuel shouted "just as planned," he said as Lily appeared on the other side of him.

"I won't fall for the same trick twice," Lily shouted, "you aren't getting that clock piece."

"Well, then, brother," Samuel shouted, "I guess I'll have to show you.

the door opened Bickslow smiled. "Alright, let's get this done," he said as he opened the door using his doll, allowing him to float safely to the ground. Landing on the ground, he looked around. Several statues were placed with a single pillar in the middle "mm, these are some weird looking statues," he muttered. "Jude warned me about traps, so I need to be mindful" looking around, he noticed the ground "now that looks like a clock," he said, "alright babies, let get to work."

"Get to work."

"Get to work."

"Get to work."

using his magic, he used his dolls to start moving the rocks around 'I hope I know what I'm doing here," he said, son, the room moved around, revealing the clock piece Bickslow smiled as he walked up to it "looks like I win," he said as he pulled out making the room move as the middle of the room started to come to life busting from the floor

"what" Bickslow shouted eh hoped up, trying to find his balance as the rock guarding appeared

"This is bad."

"So, you lead me away," Lily shouted.

"Precisely," he said, "your power and you can fly, so you were a primary threat," Samuel said "with you out of the way, your partner doesn't stand a chance, he shouted as Lily slammed him into a wall.

"I find it odd that an exceed from this world can take a battle form," Lily shouted.

"Yes," Samuel said, "like your friends, I was born and raised in this world."

"Happy and Carla," Lily muttered.

"Time passes differently for us," Samuel said, "while the humans of this world ita almost been seven years, but to you, you've barely noticed their absence."

"Shut up," Lily shouted 'he's not wrong to me. It only feels like a few days since the events of Tenrou Island' Lily got ready to fight some more.

Bickslow dodged another attack from the rock guardian. "I need to hit that small red spot-on top," he said as he continued to avoid its attack. He noticed that Lily was fighting above him.

"You see," Samuel shouted, "just as I calculated, I will defeat you, brother, and once the rock guardian defeats your partner, I will be able to grab the clock piece."

"Is that so," Lily said, "then come on, then prove your calculation right."

[##Hagane no Hakunetsusen ost##]

"Alright then," Bickslow shouted as he dodged another attack from the rock guardian."{Line formation}" Bickslow called as his dolls created a loin making the rock guardian fall back. It tried to attack again, only for Bickslow to jump up, landing on two of his dolls "now babies," he shouted "{Baryon Formation.} he shouted as his targets circled each other before they'd fired a beam of green energy striking the red light causing the stone guardian to start crumbling apart.

"what" Samuel shouted. "How."

"I guess that puts a wrench in your plans, Samuel."

"Hey Lily," Bickslow shouted, "you almost done up there."

"Almost," Lily told him.

"No," Samuel shouted, "no one has ever been able to allude my calculations," he shouted "no, they couldn't have been incorrect, then that means all my strategy was incorrect," he screamed.

"In battle," Lily said, "you have to be willing to adapt if your plans go wrong" Lily smiled "combat is a dynamic thing. and you have to adapt as the situation calls for it; you can never truly be prepared for everything in combat."

"what" Samuel shouted.

"All I'm saying is, you still got a lot of learning to do, Sammie."

"My name is Samuel, you troglodyte," Samuel shouted as he attempted to rush Lily, who ducked under him, grabbing his hand.

"in your anger, you left yourself wide open," Lily said as he threw him to the ground knocking him out of his battle form; as Lily smiled return to his normal state, landing next to Samuel, he stood the exceed up, popping his back making him fall to the ground "still, you are not without skill if you ever want to challenge me in the future I will be happy to accept."

"I know when to admit defeat," Samuel muttered "however, thanks to our fight, I now realize there are people who can defy calculations," he said

"So, you realize your own inexperience" Lily asked.

"In fact," Samuel shouted, "it's quite simple. I forgot to consider all the variables," he called "next time I need to consider all the variables," he said as he started to write in his book, "next time I'll be more prepared and show you barbarians the strength of the only muscle that matters," he said before Lily kicked him sending him out the hole that was made from there fight.

"Who you are calling a barbarian" he shouted.

"I guess exceeds come in all types too, don't they," Bickslow asked

"All types"

"All types"

"All types"

Lily just nodded as Bickslow laughed "and what was all that brother crap."

"I have no idea," Lily told him. "He's no brother of mine."

Kinana and Freed had arrived at a large Lake using runes. Freed and Kinana got to the bottom, looking at each other; they pull the plug, the water began to drain as they started to dry themselves off Kinana felt a towel thrown over her "um Freed," she asked, "what is this"

"Just making sure you're covered up," Freed said, a slight blush on his face.

"Are you embarrassed?" Kinana said, a teasing grin on her face

"I am not," he said, still not looking at her "just respecting your boundaries is all."

"Sure," Kinana said

"What does that mean" Freed asked

"Nothing, Freed," she said, walking away "come on, the clock piece has to be nearby." as Freed watch her leave confused, "what the matter," she said, "where you are daydreaming," she asked, sticking out her tongue.

"I was not," Freed shouted. "I swear you're almost as bad as Mira," he screamed before stopping "sorry, that was uncalled for."

"No," Kinana said, "it's fine," she looked away, "she did teach me everything I know ya know," she winked.

"I'm not sure how terrified I should be about that," Freed said. "Mira was well" Freed stopped thinking about the best way to say this "she was eccentric," he said

"Is this about that window shatter indent?" Kinana asked. Freed nodded his head.

"Never before," Freed said. "I don't think I've heard a scream like that sense" he shuddered at the thought the look of pain on Natsu and to extension Laxus faces will be engraved into his mind. "I don't want to talk about it."

"Oh, come on," Kinana muttered, "no one wants to tell me about it," she said

"that's not important right now," Freed said as he bent down "we need to grab this clock piece and go meet the others," he said as he picked up, grunting as he lifted it "no, come on, let's go" before they could move Freed suddenly through the clock piece confusing both him and Kinana as they turned to see Mary Hughs.

"My plan was perfect," Mary shouted "all I had to do was wait for you losers to find the clock piece, then I could just steal it from you" she smiled "man, that Samuel is something else."

"Oh no" Kinana said "it's her"

"She was the one who gave Wendy a run for her money if I remember," Freed asked.

"don't let her find out you said that," Kinana said

"you losers are going to be fun puppets to play with," Mary Hughes said an evil grin plastered on her face

"Oh, Wendy," Dan said, sitting up again before Wendy punched him into a wall again. They had been at this for a while now, and honesty Wendy was starting to get bored

"What part of no, don't you hear" Wendy shouted

"that's not in the dictionary of the Dan man," he shouted above him. Coco just shook her head as Dan was knocked down by Wendy again "oh, come on."

"Sorry, but no," Wendy said as she sat down

"How is he getting up," Romeo said

"I'm not hitting him hard enough," Wendy admitted

"Why don't you," Romeo asked

Wendy shrugged as she looked at Jude and Michelle, who was going over some old notes "lots on the head right now, don't want to kill someone accidentally," she admitted, to which Romeo nodded "might have Freed trap him in an enchantment when he gets here" she muttered as she punched him again.

"Yeah, that might be for the best," Romeo said as Dan landed on the ground again.

"Also, you should sit down and eat," Wendy said. "I can handle this clown now that he doesn't have his weapons and has resorted to trying to hug me."

"You sure" to answer this question, Wendy kicked Dan a good distance across the room, landing him right at the doors. She looked at him, a smile on her face as Romeo held back a laugh before nodding. "I guess you do," he said as he wiped some tears from his eyes as he started to leave her to her methods before a sudden wave came over him, he looked at Wendy as a serious expression grew over her face.

"How disappointing," a voice called. "I was hoping you would have the clock piece by now."

"That voice," Dan said, sitting up. "it's lord Byro."

a giant octopus busted from the ground sending the group back as Wendy had grabbed Romeo jumping near Jude and Michelle looking back, she noticed how the octopus bowed its head, revealing Byro, who was holding the piece of the clock that he stole from Michelle "I cannot understand why the two of you seem to be having such difficulty."

Coco ran from her hiding spot "our deepest apologies, lord Byro," Coco said

"I got distracted from my mission," Dan said. "I'm sorry, but I did meet the love of my" he was stopped when some rubble landed on his head, knocking him out again.

"You deserved that," Coco muttered as he fell to the ground

"Fall back and reflect on your incompetence while I clean up the mess you made," Byro growled at them as Michelle looked up in shock

"Look, Uncle Jude," she said, "it's our piece of the clock hand."

"Hey geezer," Romeo called, " that clock handpiece doesn't belong to you. Hand it over" he stopped when Wendy placed a hand on his shoulder. He looked back, the serious expression never leaving her face as she pulled him back. "Wendy," he asked.

"Stay back, kid," Wendy whispered as she glared at Byro "you heard the boy," she shouted. Romeo stood back, feeling the magic power growing in the air as Wendy and Byro had a stare-off

"I'm warning you," Byro said "facing me will be a mistake you won't walk away from"

"I'm not afraid of you," Wendy shouted "I've faced bigger and worse and walked away with my own two feet still attached" she growled remembering her fight with Hades no one in the world would ever compare to that fight "so hand over the clock hand or else," she shouted.

"Fine then," Byro said. "I'll break your spirit and your body," he said, "but the clock hand will be ours."

To be continued
