Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. We're back as the battle for the clock pieces continues. Wendy faces off against the head of the legion platoon Byro. Meanwhile Freed, and Kinana goes against the powerful Hughs, whose magic allows her to control the bodies of others. How will the battle for our heroes turn out? Find out now on a fairy tail re-told

Wendy: As the Byro doesn't have that same laugh, I should be fine

Lily: oh yeah, Byro tortured you while you were in Edolas

Wendy: please don't bring that up

Lily: Sorry, didn't mean to stir up bad memories

Wendy: Nah, your okay man, I think I'm about to get a good therapy session.

Lily: no, that joke didn't work

"There you are," Miko said as she approached where Asuka was sitting along with Macao and Wakaba "what are you reading today, little one," she asked, bending down to look at her.

"Key of the starry heavens," Macao said "she figures that if she can figure out what going on, she can make everyone go faster," Macao joked as she looked over the book. "I just hope they're okay out there."

"you're just worried about Romeo," Wakaba said

"And what if I am" Macao shouted. "I'm his father, aren't I"?

"Calm down, old man, just yanking your chain," Wakaba told him. "Wendy's with him, so he'll be alright," he smiled "the girl has come a long way."

"Yeah, I guess," Macao said, "speaking of which, Wendy lives here."

"Well, she has a room," Miko said, "when she's in town, I try to get her to stay as long as I can, but she typically moves around a lot."

"I see," Macao said

"Though I am worried typically she travels with Panther Lily," Miko frowned, "but they had to split up for this job."

"she'll be fine," Wakaba said "don't forget who she is" he smiled "she's was under the guidance of our own Salamander and the legendary Scarlet warrior Erza" he laughed "if anything I feel bad for those legion platoon guys

"Yeah," Macao said

"The kid will be alright."

Whereabouts of the Crusade

Wendy's hair was standing on end as she stared at Byro memories of her time trapped in the Edolas castle went into her mind as he looked down at her Jude's Clock piece in hand as he smiled "what the matter, girl" he asked, "afraid. go Kanaloa"

"Of you," Wendy laughed, "not on your life," she shouted as she jumped up "{sky dragons: Talon}" she shouted as she landed an attack on the octopus only for it has no effect. "What the" she screamed as the octopus struck her with one of its tentacles, sending her into a wall. It then forced some ink at her making her scream as she jumped out of the way. The ink melted the wall and the surrounding area as Wendy looked in horror "that is some spicy ink."

"don't let it hit you, Wendy," Michelle called.

"Thanks for the tip, Michelle," Wendy shouted back, trying to hide her sarcasm "{sky dragons: roar}" she screamed, blocking the attack again, sending it all over the room.

"What do I do I" Coco stopped when a tentacle almost crushed her. She closed her eyes only to feel lifted up she opened an eye to see that Wendy had grabbed her with Dan in the other arm landing on the ground She ended up hitting her head. "I think that's seven points," she muttered, rubbing her head as Wendy sat Dan down.

"Hey, octo-geezer," Wendy shouted, "you almost hit your own guys," she motioned to Dan and Coco, "what the hell, man."

"I realize that," Byro said, "but as members of the legion platoon, both realize that their lives are at constant risk. and are willing to sacrifice their lives to win this holy war."

"Holy war, my ass," Wendy growled, "you have no right to say whether or not they get to live."

"Yeah," Romeo shouted, "don't talk about them like they're your property."

"You have no say in the matter, "Byro told them. "There are more lives at risk in this holy war than you realize," he said as, behind them, the clock piece started to glow.

"Wow," Hughes said as the clock piece started to glow where she was at, "it's like resonating or something," she smiles. "I guess I should like take it so I can be off" she smiled.

" Not happening," Freed said, his hair moving to the side, revealing his magic eye, "if you think you can take away the clock, from hand us, you have another thing coming."

"Yeah," Kinana said, getting ready.

"Oh, you will," Hughes said, "but I'm interested in seeing some brother-sister rivalry."

"that's not what it's called," Kinana said, "the technical term is sibling rivalry but is inappropriate cause Freed and I aren't related," Kinana said, a board popping behind her "it be a normal rivalry at best as we don't even have the same teacher" she explained "see Mira trained me, and Makarov trained him, so no unique rivalries here," she said motioning between all the lines"at best it would be a test to see who has the better teaching method" she explained "I should update this" Kinana muttered.

"Oh," Hughes said before shaking her head, "wait a minute. you're not like going to distract me."

"I'm educating you," Kinana said "there's a difference," turning away "if you're going to threaten and drop one-liners, you need to do it right," she said as she hit her with a stick.

"Where did you get that," Freed asked,

"don't worry about it," Kinana said tossing the stick away

"Would you shut up" Hughes shouted. "I'm taking that clock piece," she said

"Why are you doing this" Freed asked

"Like I don't know," Hughes told them, "But everything will work out cause the archbishop like said it would," she smiled, "and like that, all we need to know, right."

"If you only do what you're told," Freed said, stepping forward, "then your nothing but a puppet," he shouted, making her back up.

"ya don't say," Hughes muttered, "then I guess I'll like make you a puppet to" she shouted as her Holy tact started to grow, all the fingers coming out as it began to glow "I'll make you my puppet and make you rip your friend apart" she shouted as Freed reacted his body glowing as he began to glow purple light coming from his body "now my puppet" she screamed as Freed took a transformation he became covered in dark armor, complete with large shoulder pads and a helmet with a menacing appearance;

"Freed" Kinana shouted a ran to him.

"You need," Freed started, "you need to run, Kinana," he shouted before his body went limp. He then waved his hand, destroying the ground as Kinana jumped out of the way.

"Freed," Kinana asked, "are you okay."

"he's like under my control now," Hughes bragged, "and now he's going to rip you apart limb from limb" Hughes let out a laugh as Kinana backed up in fear.

"You have to fight it, Freed," Kinana screamed as she dodged another attack "come on, I know you're in there."

"This is tots awesome," Hughes laughed "any who defy the archbishop is like totally bad and bad people" she gave a wicked grin as she looked at Kinana.

"Has got to be punished."

"That fight between you and Sammie was something else, man," Bickslow said as he and Lily walked to the meetup point "though it's a shame you too had to fight," he looked in the distance, "they're so few of you guys around, suck that you all can't get along," he said Lily nodded "speaking of which, you know he's been following us since we left that temple place right." he glanced back to where Samuel was following the pair at a safe distance. However, he wasn't trying to hide the fact.

"Yeah," Lily answered

"You know why," Bickslow asked

"he's a stubborn fool," Lily said as he glanced back as Samuel growled

"I am not following you," he shouted. "I merely observing you."

"Just so we're on the same page," Bickslow shouted "you're not getting this clock piece," he said

"Well, it doesn't matter, who gets the clock piece," Samuel said. "According to my calculations," he stopped before looking at them.

"What does that mean," Bickslow asked

"Brother," Samuel said, "a word"

"So, do you think we lost those Vanish bozos," Bisca asked

"Hopefully," Alzack told her, they had their piece of the clock piece tied to a wagon with server wheels that allowed them to move at a good pace? "I'm trying to avoid stopping though"

"Oh, you got this, Al," Bisca said, trying to encourage her husband, who smiled

"Yeah," he smiled. "I'm trying," he said, walking forward, "you think the others are okay."

"Knowing them," Bisca said, "they're doing just fine."

Kinana dodged another attack from Freed as Hughes laughed behind him moving her Holy tact around "do you enjoy this" Kinana screamed, "do you enjoy manipulating others" she screamed.

Hughes smiled "yeah," she smiled, "I totally enjoy it cause it means I'm stronger than when I was younger and stuff," she said, "now all I got to worry about is destroying any who defy the archbishop; it's a shame you're defying the archbishop and Zentopia, cause it's like a major sin" Hughes laughed, "and all sinners must die" she screamed she made Freed let out a large attack as Kinana blocked

"Wow," Hughes laughed, "I knew this guy was strong, but damn I might have gone a little overboard" she laughed as she looked at the destruction that Freed had caused "oh yeah," she said as the smoke cleared, she was shocked to see Kinana was in fact still alive "what."

"You shouldn't have done that," Kinana muttered. Her arms started to turn purple as magic power that wasn't there before entered the areas making Hughes back up in shock.

"What is this," she asked, "like no told me she could use magic too."

Kinana's eyes turned lime green and snake-like as she glared at Hughes, who backed up, but a smile came over her face" what's the matter" she asked, "why don't you come and play with a devil."

In the catacombs. Wendy dodged another attack from Kanaloa. "Romeo," Wendy shouted, "some help up here would be nice, bud," she screamed.

"On it," Romeo yelled "{purple: net}" he called as his fire made a net opening Kanaloa as Wendy smiled.

"Now I got you," she screamed before Kanaloa grabbed her with his tentacle before slamming her to the ground "okay, never mind."

"You underestimate Kanaloa," Byro said "your childish tactics will not work," Byro shook his head. "Kanaloa is a veteran like me; victory is ours."

"If you don't mind me asking," Jude said suddenly, "why are you collecting the clock pieces."

"We aren't collecting them," Byro said, "we are taking them into our care; the archbishop has demanded so."

"Why would the archbishop want them" Michelle wondered out loud

'Time ticks forward, towards inevitable chaos.'

Flashback

Byro was in front of the archbishop down on one knee "might as if you knew what the means, Byro," the man asked as he shook his head.

"No, that is the phrase you hear in your dreams," he said. "I'm afraid not."

"Everyone hundred the infinity clock release the magic power it has accumulated and becomes active," the archbishop explained "it is said that if all the clock pieces are collected." he stopped as Byro looked at him fear in his eyes "then the clock will begin to tick and usher at the end of the world."

"That cannot be," Byro said

"According to cardinals," the archbishop said, "a group of wizards is gathering the infinity clock, we cannot allow this," he said "my friend, we must be ready," the archbishop said, "we have been given a mission from a higher power."

"a holy war is about to begin."

"So that's the inevitable chaos," Jude muttered.

"Sounds like it," Romeo muttered, "things just got a whole lot serious."

"I cannot allow you to have this," he said, "you meager wizards could not protect the world from destruction."

"Now hold up," Wendy shouted "that story sounds like a load of bull," she said as she struggled to escape from Kanaloa "if gathering the clock pieces are so bad, then isn't it better to leave them where they are and destroy all evidence of their existence."

"She makes a good point," Romeo said, "and besides, not sure how I feel about Zentopia holding the clock pieces." he reasoned, "who says they won't make a dangerous mistake? I mean, they are as in the dark as we are"

"Oh no, we're all going to die," Michelle screamed.

"I can assure you our teaching are not mistaken," Byro growled out "how dare you even question the archbishop" he shouted.

"Hey, I'm not part of Zentopia," Wendy said

"I mean, everyone can make mistakes," Michelle said

"you'd dare," Byro said

"Yeah, we dare," Wendy shouted as Kanaloa started shaking her again behind them. The clock piece started to glow

explosions rang from the battlefield as Hughes watched in awe as Kinana made to block every single attack thrown at her before sending toward her "what is this" she shouted, "no."

"Now release Freed," Kinana shouted. "{poison devils: claw}' she yelled, trying to strike Hughes again, who managed to jump out the way "let him go."

"You," Hughes muttered, "you aren't the boss of me" she then made Freed attack her again, only for Kinana to block it again.

"You may control his body," Kinana muttered, "but you can't control his spells" she smiled "that's why you've been attacking randomly," she said, "now release him before I make you regret it," she shouted. As she kicked Freed away, looking back at her, "you don't want me to get angrier than I already am," she growled.

"No," she said, "no" magic power busted from as Freed stopped his transformation, leaving his body as he fell to the ground "archbishop, please forgive me," Hughes screamed. "I know I'm committing a sin, but I promise this all for you," she called as she merged with Freed's transformation.

"what" Freed asked

"Get ready," Kinana called as Hughes attacked them again

"what's going on" Freed shouted, "you would dare use my magic."

"{command third movement}" she screamed as she attacked

"Kinana, are you alright."

"I'm fine," she said, "can you fight."

"Yes," Freed said, standing up. "I still have some tricks up my sleeve," Freed said as his eye glowed "{Dark Écriture: Darkness}."

"You will pay," Hughes shouted as she charged them both. Freed caught her attack, much to her shock as he threw her back "no," she screamed as she created another attack "you will not win here," she cried, "your sinners," she shouted.

"You know," Freed said, "I use to respect Zentopia." Freed shook his head as he stood up again "but seeing as they allow people like you to represent them, I might have to reconsider my admiration."

"die" Hughes shouted as Kinana blocked the blast sending it around them

"You won't win," she shouted as she ran up to her landing a hit on her stomach as Freed grabbed her and threw her in the air

"let's finish it Kinana" Freed called

"Understood," she answered

"{Darkness breath}"

"{poison devils: rage}"

Hughes let out a scream as she landed on the ground, knocked out what looked like her spirit coming from her body as Freed and Kinana returned to normal "you okay, Freed."

"Yes," Freed said, "sorry if I."

"No, it wasn't your fault," she said

"I must admit that is some interesting magic you've picked up over the years," Freed said he had never seen magic of this nature before though it reminded him of Natsu and Laxus

"Yeah," Kinana said, "I wanted to learn Satan's soul," Kinana told him, "But Mira refused to teach it to me" Kinana smiled, "she said she wouldn't put that on anyone else and it's forbidden magic." she let you a pained sigh " I learned this while she was away, my original plan was to surprise he with it"

"So you learned something similar, to her unique power" Freed asked.

"Yeah," she said, "it's called Devil slayer magic," she told him "don't tell anyone, though; I don't plan on using it too much." she laughed "and you know an unspoken rule amounts us lost magic-user is to keep it to our selves"

"I understand" Freed said, Laxus had a similar rule though he never understood why they were so secretive about their magic, not like the council forbade its use, though he could tell it was quite taxing on the body

"good cause" Kinana stopped falling, clutching her eye

"Are you alright" Freed asked

"Yeah," Kinana muttered, "I need a moment."

"If you need anything, let me know," Freed said

"Yeah," Kinana smiled

"Thank you"

"I told you everything about this holy war," Byro muttered, "and yet you still want to fight."

"yeah," Wendy shouted as she started to pry herself from Kanaloa "I don't know if you're telling the truth or not," she said, "but I know this, you took something that didn't belong to you, and I'm putting a stop to it" she shouted as she pulled herself free "I don't give a damn about your holy war, but I sure as hell I'm not about to let you start one"

"Yeah," Romeo shouted as he used his fire to grab some of Kanaloa's tentacles from holding Wendy again.

"Wow," Michelle said

"Nice job, kid," Wendy said, which made Romeo smile as Wendy turned her attention to Byro "your mistake was underestimating us," she shouted as she jumped up, "and now, you're going down." she called as Kanaloa attempted to attack her again only for to jump out of the way landing on the rubble Wendy smiled as the wind gathered at her feet "here we go" she shouted, "you freaky octopus is going down."

"what" Byro shouted as he jumped away as Wendy charged an attack.

"Take this" Wendy shouted as she launched herself from the rock"{sky dragons: wave wind}" she created a large tornado sending Kanaloa into the side of the ruins she landed on top of it, a shadow over her body, red eyes where the only thing visible as she glared at Byro "you wanna hand that clock piece over now" she growled "or will I have come over there and beat you to a pulp."

"Such power," Byro said. He had to admit he was impressed with her strength, but he shook his head. "I will admit your power is impressive; however, as we speak," he started, "your friends have possibly gathered the clock pieces and are on their way here," he said. "I will stop you," he said as Wendy landed across from him. "I am prepared to do whatever it takes to stop you.

"Yeah," Wendy said, "so am I."

"So," Lily asked, "what do you want to talk about."

"I am a proud member of the legion platoon." Samuel started, "but I have not forgotten my roots, I am not afraid to admit that I am a exceed" he looked at Lily. "I have come to notice that our sense of time is different from that of the humans" he looked at Lily, "something about the book."

"What book" Lily asked

"Key of the starry heavens"

"Ms. Miko," Asuka said, "I don't like this story," she muttered. "Nah, uh, I don't like this book at all," she said, getting everyone's attention "it has a weird ending, and it's scary."

"So, you're telling me that there's more to the book," Lily asked

"don't think just cause I'm telling you this," Samuel said, "that I'm denouncing Zentopia" he looked at Lily, "but just like the war in edolas, no one knows the course this holy war will take"

Makarov and Cosmos walked up to a serene location in the distance. There appears to be a ruined farmhouse. The place looked like a war had taken place there caters, and skeletal remains were scattered across the field. It seems that no one had lived there in years, both looking over a frown on their faces "so this is the place," Cosmos asked. Makarov nodded as he stepped forward.

"But sir, what of the survivor," they asked.

"She will soon find herself reunited," he said, walking away

"Soon power to reshape the world as we know it will be mine."
