Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. First I want to say happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate the holiday and I hope you all had a safe black Friday if also do that, that's two of the main reasons this chapter is coming out so late which is sad cause this chapter has been finished for at least a month but whatever, you're getting now, and I hope you enjoy it, also I do read the comments whenever I get a chance and I do enjoy all the discussions that go on, but please let's keep them respectful to others.

The battle draws its close as the end draws near, as Raven tail prepares to use the infinity clock to further their goals. With the betrayal of Michelle Lobster, now known as Imitatia, who has managed to find and destroy all the followers of Will Neville, will our heroes be able to stop Raven tails plan, or will they fall to their might? Wendy: why can't these guys ever make an ice cream maker or a super-advanced lacrmia that create bunnies

Lily: that sounds interesting

Wendy: and less dangerous

Coco ducked behind another wall, two guards walking past her. She let out a breath of fresh air, using her time with the legion platoon to get where she needed to go. 'Lord Byro,' she thought to herself when he tried to strike her how Wendy, her enemy rushed in to save her even though she was the enemy, but she saved her shaking her head she had to do something about this wasn't right landing on the wall pressing against it as much as close as possible she heard a guard coming, she jumped on the wall watching as they walked past

"You hear," they said as Coco looked over, trying not to get caught. She didn't want to be seen and get in worse trouble hell, she had no idea why she was doing it, but it felt right, and she needed

"Yeah, apparently Lapointe has plans for the archbishop," another said. "I wonder what it is."

"He wants us to wait to reveal the archbishop until the founding festival," the other said, "the pilgrims have no idea about his mental state."

"really"

"Yeah

"Something wrong," Coco muttered. "I don't trust this Cardinal," she dropped back to the ground "we need to increase security down here," she said as she stood in the open "it's way too easy to get out."

Eternal Nightmare

"So, Michelle was on their side all along" Jude's voice was filled with sorrow. Wendy's heart went out to the older man. It did and she hated being the bearer of bad news. "Raven tails been having this planned for years," she admitted, "and now they were able to put everything in motion so flawlessly that Mavis would be jealous" she looked at Laki, who had been comforting Kinana, shaking her head, she rubbed her arm.

"And now they have Katja," Wendy said. "I wasn't strong enough."

"Hey now," Bisca said, "you did your best."

"We shouldn't waste our time feeling sorry for ourselves," Lyon told her. The doors then opened, revealing Jean Luc. He smiled as he ran up to Jude.

"Jude," he said, "we need to speak to you."

"Yes," Jude asked, coming out of his funk, "is something wrong."

"We need all the information we can get," Wendy asked

"Yes," Jean said, "As you already know, Jude is a decedent of the legendary Will Neville; however, what you don't know is that I am one of his decedents as well."

"Really," Wendy asked.

"Yes," Jean confirmed, "however, I do not practice any magic. That is why Raven tail hasn't come for me." shaking his head, "much like Jude, I am a defender of the clock piece that he was watching over I was supposed to research all the effects in case the day someone would activate it," Jean told them "The clock piece is capable of using a spell called the eternal nightmare," he said, "it will alter the human perception of time."

"I don't follow," Lyon asked. "What do you mean that we lose our perception of time."

"Think of it this way," Jude said "what time is it, who are you talking to" Jude looked to the roof, "say we were to lose all perception of that, it will bring about chaos."

"And thus, the end of the world," Freed finished, "we would lose our sense of identity."

"yes," Jean said, "Zentopia is found on the principle of the infinity clock, the survivors of the last time it was activated" Jean frowned "they then broke apart the infinity clock and hid across the world, until a few hundred years later when evildoers almost activated it again," Jean said "Will Neville is said to have prevented this and took the clock hand into his care passing it down through his family" he looked at Jude "every hundred years it releases large amounts of magic power if where to activate during this time there's no telling the kind of destruction or chaos it causes."

"Then we can't let that happen," Wendy said, standing up "we have to take down the infinity clock before it creates this chaos, destroy it if we have to."

"I agree," Freed said, "We started this, so we will have to stop the infinity clock."

"I was hoping we were already planning that," Lyon said

"I agree," Laki said. "Jude came to us for help, so we're going to see this through to the end."

"we'll either stop the infinity clock," Lily said

"Or die trying."

"Master," Imitatia said, bowing down Katja in her grip. Ivan laughed as Katja looked to the ground, no emotion showing on her face as Ivan looked her over. "I have returned the descendant of Will Neville is now in our grasp, and soon the power you seek will be in your hands."

"The day I've waited for has long since arrived," Ivan said, "and there nothing the magic council or Zentopia can do to stop me." he laughed again as he picked up Katja placing her on the front of the infinity clock symbols appearing on her skin still not showing emotion Ivan looked her over he was impressed at how she was handling this. "Now, with all the anti-links destroyed, we can begin"

"Tell me," Katja said, "will my end be quick," she asked

"No," Ivan said, "it will be long," he said, "the pain you've felt, I know you sensed it every time we destroyed one of you celestial friends," he laughed, "and now through your sacrifice, we will have unlimited power."

"Then this curse will finally end," Katja said "they are still alive," she muttered, "and when they finally awaken, their pain will be able to go away."

"See," Ivan said, "you should be thanking us" he gave an evil smile "we are taking the pain away."

"But won't you just cause more pain for everyone else" Katja countered "you will take away everyone else's is happiness."

"If that's what it takes," Ivan said, laughing

"It's time for the end to come."

"Lahar," a guard called, getting the man's attention as he stood with Mest's attention, "we were able to find the lacrmia and pulled some data."

"good," Lahr said, "what did you find," he asked the man opened the lacrmia it showed a man going up to the Oracion seis cells, two in particular which looked to be Angel and Cobra the man turned "wait" Lahr screamed "stop there and enhance" he shouted as they zoomed in Lahar backed up in shock "damn him," Lahr said, "he played us for fools."

"What happened," Mest asked.

"Lapointe," Lahar said, "he's the one who freed the members of the Oracion seis," he told him. "He then used the members we caught as decoy's while he ran off. With Cobra and Angel."

"So that means," Mest asked.

"Yes," Lahar said, "Zentopia is more involved in this than there letting on."

"We will do everything we can to find a way to stop the clock piece," Jean said "we're running out of time," he said, "so we need to be quick," he said as his friend came up to him with tons of books "there has to be a way to stop it, and we will find it."

"I'll do my best to help," Jude said

"I will remain behind this time as well," Freed admitted, "with three of us, we should be able to find something."

"Okay then," Wendy said, "then who's going with me to the infinity clock? We need to stop Raven tail and rescue Katja."

"I'll go," Lyon said

"Me too," Bickslow said. "I want to get another shot at Erigor."

Laki stood up, smiling. "I guess could take another run," she smiled

"Me too," Kinana said, standing up.

"But Kinana," Laki said, "you're not ready."

"Did something happen," Wendy asked? Kinana shook her head before Laki spoke again.

"She knew Cobra's real name," Laki told her "they seemed to be talking to each other like they knew each other"

"what"

"it's nothing," Kinana said. "I'm fine," she lied. Anyone who knew her knew she was lying, but she had to do this. She needed to face him again. She needed to know she needed answers, and she would get them even no matter what the others would say "it's nothing," she said, only to meet with what she dubbed the sibling glare from Wendy. She had obviously picked it up from Mira and Natsu as they had inherited from Mavis; it looked like a merger of both. "I'm fine, really," she said, "nothing to worry about."

"The truth" the words almost came out with concern, but it was masked by how stern she made it sound as Kinana looked away, puffing her cheeks in defiance as Wendy let out an exhausted sigh "fine then," she muttered, looking to Freed, "keep her far from danger" Freed nodded "and make sure she stays in your sight."

"What," Kinana asked.

"you're staying here," Wendy responded, turning to leave everyone who was going with her stood up as well "get ready everyone, we're heading into the lion's mouth," she said as Kinana made a move to follow her.

"Wait, I need to" she stopped when Wendy turned around, slamming her foot in the ground, making the tables drinks and anything else not nailed down in the pub, do a small jump. She even let out a slight growl which made Kinana back up in fear

"you're staying here," she growled out. The entire pub had gone silent so much you could hear a pin drop as Wendy's words hung in the air as Kinana looked in defiance.

"Well, I'm going, and you can't stop me," she shouted as she tried to get past her only to be blasted back by a small gust of wind rolling her in the counter, shocking Miko a bit as the girl rubbed her head "Ouchy" she muttered as she looked at Wendy. "I wasn't ready that time," Wendy readied a fighting stance.

"Girls," Miko tried to reason, "come on, don't do this or at least not inside," she said as Kinana tried to rush past Wendy. Only for her to grab her, lifting her above her head before tossing her back in the same spot jumping back to her feet, Kinana's eyes flashed before she jumped at Wendy. She ducked out of the way before landing one hit on her stomach, sending her back into the countertop, making the glass shake "please," Miko begged, "Kinana, hon, just stay down."

"I can't," Kinana said as she tried to get back on her feet. "I need to get to him."

"Then tell me why," Wendy screamed.

"He knows," Kinana said as she stood up, "he knows why those cultists turned me into a snake," she admitted "he knows where I came from, who I am," she muttered, tears forming in her eyes, "so I have to face him, I need to know," she said "I'm so sick of losing, I deserve to gain something. what that makes of me I don't care" she screamed. "You can't understand, but I have to know."

Wendy said nothing before lunging forward, shocking everyone as she hugged the girl, tears forming in her eyes as she embraced her. "I do understand," she thought of when Erza had offered to bring her to magnolia, how she felt when Jellal left her. the feeling she had after Tenrou Island "I understand more than you know." she whispered soon the sound of rumbling, the sound of an airship coming overhead as everyone ran outside, seeing the blue Pegasus bomber Christina coming overhead "how did you guys think we were getting there," Wendy asked before looking at Kinana "alright," she said "you can come" she hadn't let her go "but promise me you'll be safe," she asked "after Tenrou, you and Lily are all I had left I" she stopped her voice choking on the word's "I can't lose you too okay."

Kanana smiled with tears on her face "okay."

"Well, now that we have that's settled," lily said, "We should get moving," he said

"Alright," Bickslow said

"Hey guys" Warren called "you called for backup"

"Comrades," Ichiya shouted, "our assault on the infinity clock is ready to begin," he screamed before Christina started to shake wind around the bomber began to increase "what is this" Ichiya shouted.

"it's Erigor," Bickslow shouted. "I'll handle this," he called "you guys get to the infinity clock."

"Stay safe, Bickslow," Wendy called.

Bickslow ran outside. He saw Erigor standing over him "so we meet again, fly."

"Yeah," Bickslow said, "and this time you're going down," he shouted. Erigor then used his wind to create a storm as Bickslow dodged out of the way before jumping behind him "take this{victory formation}" he shouted as blast shot Erigor away from the Strom he was making and interrupting the spell Bickslow using his dolls, floated to the ground as Erigor got up looking at him.

"So," Erigor said, "I guess you want to be torn to shreds," he laughed "fine, then I will show you my terrifying might."

"You say that," Bickslow said, "but you're not taking down a member of the thunder legion." he said, "let go, babies."

"let's go."

"let's go."

"let's go."

"Master Ivan's, son's lapdog," Erigor laughed, "you will die here," he screamed as their attack collided, "{storm mail}."

"{X-formation}" Bickslow shouted as the attacks crashed again, sending them both back.

Wendy looked through the window. Seeing Bickslow, she let out a sigh "come on," she shouted, "we need to get moving."

Lapointe stood over the archbishop, who had a dead look in his eyes. He smiled as he went outside, seeing the Infinity clock "they are already too late," he muttered "the never-ending chaos is about to begin," he laughed as Ivan began to use the infinity clock. Katja's eyes started to stare blankly into the distance.

"The world will soon be mine to conquer."
