As 3 of the four parents were falling asleep, they didn't know that Luz was planning on watching the full program with just a TINY bit of help from her energy potion.
'I hope I got the balance just right.' Luz thought as she poured a SINGLE drop into her soda, being extremely careful.
She took a sip of her soda and grabbed her championship. She placed it over her shoulder, waiting for the effects to kick in.
'Last time, the effect kick in almost immediately but since this is a tiny dose, it should pump me up gradually.' Luz thought as she felt the bags under her eyes reseed, getting less tired! 'Yes! Hello late smackdown!'
Luz held her championship close to her. She never gotten to see the main event, she was excited.
"And now folks, we have a match unlike any ever seen before! A fatal four way free for all between the best of the best! Between, Big E, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship!" The announcer said as the crowd cheered!
Luz got even more excited. She knew Seth held the championship, but her favorite was in the match, and she was routing for him.
"Come on Big E."
"My money's on Owens! He can bring it to the table!" Edric said, cheering for his favorite of the four.
"Please, the King Slayer is retaining." Emira said, with Skara nodding her head.
"You shouldn't underestimate the King of Strong Style." Amity said.
"Are those betting words, Mittens?" Emira asked with a challenging smirk.
"Well, what if it is?" Amity asked.
"Then put your snails where your mouth is!" Emira said as she pulled out a sack of snails.
Between the five of them, almost two thousand snails were bet. Edric put his money on Owens, Skara and Emira put theirs on Rollins, Amity put hers on Nakamura, and Luz put hers on Big E. The main event had begun, and all the siblings watch with close attention to see who would win! After a tantalizing match the victory went to…. Seth Rollins!
"Oh yeah! Pay up suckas!" Skara cheered.
"I won too since, so we split it." Emira pointed out.
Skara and Emira collected their winnings and were about to pocket it when music filled the room. They all looked at the crystal ball to see Mr. Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns, running to the ring.
"He's cashing in!" Luz said.
"Double or nothing!" Edric said as he quickly snatched his bet snails back!
"You're on!" Emira said.
"I'm smart enough to know when to back out." Amity said, letting Skara keep her money.
"I am too but I won't! Count me in too!" Luz said as she took her money back from Skara!
They turned back to the match. It was quick, Reigns hit a Superman Punch and a spear and went to pin Rollins for the WWE Championship. The ref quickly went to begin the count down as Rollins tried to get out of it!
"Come on, get up! Get up!" Skara and Emira screamed!
The ref counted the three count and Roman was handed the belt.
"If Dean Ambrose was here this shit wouldn't happen." Emira said.
"Too bad, he's not." Edric said with a smirk as he held his hand out for the money.
"We don't have all of it, but we'll get it to you by tomorrow." Emira said as she and Skara gave Luz and Edric their snails.
"I told you, back out." Amity said, as stood up and stretched, "You never bet against the Big Dog."
"True that. So, how about a game of truth or dare next? It's only 10:10pm." Edric suggested.
"No, I think we should go to sleep. Luz always gets tired around this time." Emira said before seeing Luz was still wide awake.
"Why are you still awake?" Skara asked, "You always fall asleep by nine."
"And you're always up at three working on your weapons." Amity said.
"Hey yeah. What gives?" Edric asked as he looked towards the youngest sibling.
"Did you take that crazy energy potion you made that kept you up for three days last time?" Emira asked with an accusatory glare.
"Noooo." Luz dragged out.
If there was one thing she couldn't do, it was lie. All of them knew this was a lie and knew there was only one way of getting the truth. Find it for themselves!
"Right." Skara said as she drew a spell circle, summoning a small harp to her hands.
"SHIT!" Luz said as she shoots up, trying to run to the door.
A single string plucked was enough to make Luz's legs freeze with a shroud of magic covering them. Bard Magic, most people don't think it's powerful, but it is a force to be recognized when it can CONTROL you just by listening to its melodies.
"Search her." Amity said as she and the twins walked to Luz.
They patted her down and found her potion.
"Care to explain what this is?" Emira asked.
Luz shook her head.
"No."
"Luz…don't tempt me." Skara said as she held another harp string at the ready.
"Or we could tell mom, mama, mami, or nini." Amity said with her arms crossed.
"It was just a drop." Luz argued.
"A drop?" Amity asked, not believing it.
"Yeah! I learned from last time and measured just the right amount to drink to stay up a few hours instead of a few days." Luz said it them, wishing she could move her legs again. "Now if you'll just let me go, I can head to my room and do some sketching until I fall asleep."
"See if she has more on her." Amity said.
"What? No, I don't!" Luz said to them.
Her 4 siblings didn't listen as they searched her clothes for anymore of the energy potion, finding two more vials.
"Looks like someone wants to set the record for most awake." Edric said.
"Well, that's all of it, bye!" Luz said.
Amity grabbed her by the hood and shoved her hand into Luz's hair. She looked around for a few seconds before pulling another one out.
"There. That should be the last one." Amity said, letting go of Luz's hood.
"I just wanted to see the main event." Luz said.
"Well you did, now it's time to go to sleep." Skara said as she began playing a lullaby, focusing it on Luz.
"Hey! Magic Lullabies are playing d-dir-" Luz said slowly mumbling as she fell asleep, still standing.
"I'll get her to bed, night guys." Skara said as she used the harp to control Luz's body, making her move in her sleep.
She brought Luz to her bed and tucked her in. She was about to leave when she saw Luz fidget in her sleep.
"She's having a nightmare."
Skara got into bed with her and wrapped her arms around her.
"It's okay, Kitten, I'm here." Skara said.
It wasn't uncommon for Luz to have nightmares because of her constant worry of not being a good witch, so they all took turns watching over her in her sleep when she does have nightmares. Skara pulled her close and started to hum a lullaby. It calmed Luz and Skara put rested her head on Luz's back. The rhythm of Luz's heart slowly put her to sleep. Bile sack or not, it had one of the most beautiful rhythms a bard witch could ever hear.
