Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. So now we are in the sort of resting chapters these still count as part of the return of fairy tail arc; however, like past chapters, you could count these as filler if you want as well. Let's be honest about the member's fairy tail. While it has been seven years since their battle with Grimoire heart, it's still recent, and it's been a while since I've put them in a casual setting. anyway, let's get into the story

Last time on a fairy tail

Natsu: hey Lucy, how's that story going

Wendy: you're writing a novel, Lucy

Lucy: I thought I told you not to tell anyone about that

Natsu: Hehe

Wendy: can I read, please

Gray: naw, she only lets Levy read them

Lucy: oh, get over it

'it was a dark and cold night, the sounds of crickets were in the air' the shadow of a man appeared in a place called Love and jewelry inside sitting in the middle of the room was a single diamond shining under the moonlight "the world had never seen a thief of his kind, he was a shadow.' the manscape flew over the diamond making it disappeared 'the sight of his bizarre appearance confused many, and he would always get his prize.'

"Give up, jewel thief."

"Give us a reason to shoot you."

"ha-ha," the man would laugh, "you think you can stop me" he then raised his hand, taking off his mask, revealing no face, "now gaze at the true form of your enemy."

"Ahh, a demon."

'What can the hearts of man do against such a foe? Their courage went with the wind as the query escaped into the night' the man laughed as he ran away into the night, the sounds of terror coming from the jewel sure running into the night.

"no one can stop me," the voice rang through the air before the air went silent once again.

The terror of invisible Lucy

"Done," Happy said

"So that's it," Natsu asked

"Hey," Lucy shouted, "who gave you dolts permission to read my stuff" she ran up to them as Natsu laughed at her.

"Umm, you did," Natsu said. "I think It was out on the desk, and we were bored,"

"So is this invisible man guy. some new genres you're working on," Happy asked

Lucy smiled "yep, thought I 'd stretch my writing legs a bit, ya know," Lucy told him. "I mean, everyone imagined what it is like if we were invisible" Lucy smiled at the thought, "so I thought that it would make a pretty good horror novel" she smiled as a dark grin grew on Happy's face.

"ha-ha," he started laughing, "pathetic now gaze into the true form of your enemy," he laughed "you fools will never catch me," he screamed.

"I think he's getting into it," Natsu muttered.

"Come on, little guy," Lucy said, you are going to kill my self-esteem," as she looked away, "so what do I owe the pleasure of this visit," Lucy asked.

"Just checking in," Natsu asked "you left in quite a hurry yesterday, so I wanted to make sure you were okay," Natsu asked.

"Yeah," Lucy said, "just had some stuff to take care of."

"Like writing that story," Natsu said a smirk on his face

"Oh, shut up," Lucy grumbled out

"Well, see ya later, Lucy," Natsu said as he started to leave.

"And take the door, ya doofus," Lucy screamed as Natsu and Happy jumped out the window letting out an exhausted sigh. Lucy turned back to what she was doing 'you know what a nice hot bath is in order she went and picked up a small bottle she smiled thankfully her father was able to gather all the stuff she had before she left for Tenrou Island and was able to put it in storage "I brewed this before I left for Tenrou Island, so I'm glad I get to finally use it" Lucy smiled at the thought

minutes later Lucy found herself at the town bathhouse while she and the other would float from, hotel to hotel or stay at the dragon pub when they weren't on the job in which they had to learn how to camp, but it was nice to be able to take a nice private soak Lucy let out a sigh as she opened up the bottle pouring it in "ya know I'm jealous of the invisible man" Lucy said aloud "the power of invisibility would be cool, I'd be super useful on jobs" then a devious grin grew on her face "and think of the pranks I could pull off" she laughed as she leaned back in the tub

hours later Lucy finally decided to get out walking out of the room wrapping a towel around her as she looked around before stopping in front of a mirror 'wait' Lucy then realized that she could only see her towel "did I turn invisible' she screamed as she picked up the potion looking it over "this thing has been fermenting over the past seven years, could that have changed it properties" Lucy asked looking around 'I can't go out like this" 'I need to get to the dragon pub' as she left the a passerby stopped confusion coming over her face.

"That was weird."

'I need to make sure I don't run into anyone,' Lucy thought to herself 'man, this is embarrassing, Lucy thought to herself. 'I can't believe I'm walking around in my birthday suit," Lucy muttered as she stopped "though maybe I should enjoy this," Lucy said only to be stopped when a dog came up to her sniffing the air around her "hey shoo" Lucy muttered trying to get the dog to go away.

"Nothing, their boy," the man who was walking the dog said, "your nose must be losing it."

the dog then licked Lucy's leg making the girl let out a scream shocking everyone around her as she ran off as the dog barked after her as Lucy ducked behind a counter "that was a close one," Lucy sighed as she started to walk again only to be stopped by a group of kids

"Hey, look at this"

"Woah, it's shaped like a person," another said

"Is it a spirit

"hey, stop," Lucy screed trying not to laugh "please, you're going to make me piss myself" she laughed she ran away, the kids started chasing her "persistent brats," Lucy shouted as she ran into things as she kept looking back "this is not a game" she screamed as she ducked into an alleyway "that was close," Lucy said letting out a sigh of relief "I need to get to the pub, Mavis should know what to do."

At the dragon pub, Natsu smiled as Mira placed a plate in front of him. next to him, Kinana finished giving a similar dish to Wendy. She smiled, and the pair started to eat their large plate of food "it would seem your appetite has only grown," Carla muttered as Wendy stopped swallowing the handful of food. She smiled. Seven years ago, her appetite was big. She could only eat half of a Natsu plate as everyone in the pub affectionally called it now she could almost keep up with Natsu "but do try to eat like a civilized person child." Wendy mumbled something as Carla shook her head "don't talk with your mouth full"

"I eat like I'm civilized," Wendy said as she wiped her mouth. "Natsu's the one you need to talk to about table manners."

"Hey, I was raised by a dragon," Natsu said. "I have an excuse."

"So was I," Wendy retorted "so no, you don't."

"Yeah, true, but you're a lady," Natsu teased.

"Oh, you did not," Wendy said as Erza laughed.

"Now, you two calm down," Mira said. "I love you both and your appetites just as much. How you eat it doesn't matter" Mira smiled "so anyway, how's Lucy."

"she's fine," Natsu said, "said she had some stuff to take care of."

"Like what," Erza asked, "her novel."

"You know about that" Natsu asked.

"I read one of her stories once," Erza admitted, "she wasn't so happy about it, but it was an excellent read."

"She wrote this new one about an invisible man," Natsu said, "apparently, it's a horror novel Happy seemed to like it."

"I am the terror of the night," Happy said again as he played around with Romeo. What they were doing, one could only guess, but they weren't too loud. little did they know that Lucy she walked into the pub, but everyone was so wrapped up in the conversations that they failed to hear the girl come in

"Yes, I made it," Lucy thought to herself before stopping "actually," Lucy thought to herself, she noticed Jet and Droy talking to Levy, "this is the perfect chance to pull some pranks. she saw Macao and Wakakba. She smiled as she picked up his drink, splashing it over his face.

"Hey," Macao shouted as she grabbed Wakaba, "not funny, man, you can't just waste good booze like that."

"I didn't splash ya," Wakaba shouted, "but if it's a fight, you want it a fight you'll get"

behind them, Lucy ran up to Jet, pulling his ear as he turned to punch Droy in the face "my ear isn't a potato chip."

"What was that" Droy shouted as Levy looked in shock as his two friends started to fight

"So did I miss something," Mira asked.

"Dad spilled his drink," Romeo said, "and now he's throwing a temper tantrum."

"Ah," everyone said as Macao was knocked into Gray spilling his drink. He turned around and also started fighting knocking him into the painting the Reedus was doing of Freed as he shook his head.

"Come on, guys, let's talk this out," Kinana begged.

"Just let them get out of their system," Natsu said, focusing on his food.

"But if this keeps up Natsu, there won't be a pub to fight in," Kinana shouted.

"then we just make them re-build it," Mira told he still cleaning her section as she ducked under a thrown mug "come on you and I are both used to this"

"I agree," Erza said "we need to set an example" someone then hit her and Natsu with a stray chair as Wendy started to count down with her fingers, a smile on her face as larger object kept hitting the pair "and they wonder why we've fallen so low, have the lessons of the past seven years taught them nothing," Erza asked as a table flew into her and Natsu face as Wendy finished her countdown.

"Fine then," they both muttered as they jumped into the fight, Wendy let out a laugh as Natsu and Erza started knocking down everyone in their way

"What was that about setting an example," Kinana asked

"They always find a way to get in the fun," Mira said as Wendy stood up "what are you doing."

"Duh," Wendy said as if it was obvious "getting into the fun," she said as she joined Natsu and Erza in calming down (fighting) all of their rowdy friends' seconds later Mira and Kinana stood in shock as the trio towered over everyone else.

"Now, you will clean this place until it looks better than when we came here," Natsu shouted. There were a few bruises on his body, but other than that, he was unharmed.

"you all know that Ms. Miko doesn't like it when we fight in the place, so when she comes back from her errands, you will apologize for your actions," Erza screamed as Wendy smiled she was secretly enjoying this Gray shifted uncomfortably as Wendy gave him a wink she was the one who knocked him down when he charged Natsu and Wendy ran in giving him a good lick in the stomach it was funny for all parties involved "she is offering us a place to stay and allowing us to pass jobs so we will treat this place with respect."

"Yes, ma'am," they all muttered

"I can't hear you," Erza screamed

"Yes, ma'am," they all screamed

"Wow," Lucy muttered as she tripped over a table that someone had knocked over, catching Natsu's attention as he walked over to where Lucy was standing, making the girl backup in terror "oh no, cats out of the bag," Lucy muttered as Natsu walked up to her.

"You okay, Natsu," Wendy asked.

"I think I smell Lucy," he said as he started sniffing the air "it is her," he said as he reached to hug her only to be slapped away.

"Watch your hands, perv," Lucy shouted.

"Wait," Mira said, "Lucy, I didn't know that she was here."

"Actually, now that you mention it," Wendy said, "I can smell her scent in the air, and I heard her scream" everyone looked to where Lucy was standing.

"Never mind," Lucy muttered, "this is just as embarrassing." a few seconds later, Lucy, now clothed, sat in a chair in the middle of the pub as everyone looked at her "umm guys, could you stop staring at me like that" Lucy asked moving.

"Creepy," everyone said

"Thanks a lot," she screamed

"I've never seen a potion do this before," Mira muttered, "it's good your wearing clothes now so we can see you, but still."

"So, you can turn invisible," Wendy asked.

"Think about all the jobs we could pull of," Natsu said "man, this awesome"

"I know, right," Lucy said, "no, wait, I can't turn it off."

"What do you mean." Wendy asked, "how did this happen."

"That doesn't matter," Lucy said. "I was hoping Mavis or one of you could help me with this"

"Yeah, we have no idea," Gray said as he held a broom

"We could try burning it off," Natsu said

"I don't think that's a soundproof Idea, Natsu," Wendy replied

"But it's the only one we got," Erza said as she nodded at Natsu, who turned on his flames, shooting it Lucy on to cause her to run around the fire, leaving her body though she still is invisible

"Maybe we need more fire," Natsu asked

"Absolutely not," Lucy screamed

"I have a less destructive idea," Reedus shouted from his corner of the room "leave it to me, madam," he called as he started painting a few seconds later, Lucy stood in front of them her body pointed everyone looked at her, impressed until she opened her paint eyes scaring everyone.

"I don' think this is a good idea."

"Well, I always wanted to try cubism," Reedus shouted

"Let me try," Happy shouted as he painted his face on Lucy

"This is worse than before," Lucy screamed

"Well, we need to bring in her eyes, and her nostrils are way too small."

"and this eye bro isn't bushy enough."

"What is wrong with you to" Lucy screamed

"We need to make her eyes pop," Erza said, "we should first start by fixing her eyebrows, and we darken here to make them pop."

"Stand back matures," Macao said. "I'll have her good as new"

"You go no sense of anatomy," Wakaba said, "luckily, I took art in grade school for a couple of days."

"I always wanted to see her with darker hair," Mira reasoned "it would give her a gothic look."

"But that's more your style," Natsu told her

"We could try a new haircut," Kinana said.

"Maybe an afro," Droy said

"With face paint," Jet added

"I'm not a toy," Lucy shouted, "and shouldn't your dorks be cleaning this place up."

"Fine, we'll do this," Gray shouted as he used his magic to create a face made out of ice.

"Maker magic for the win," Romeo shouted, only for the face to start melting, scaring everyone

moments later, Mira and Kinana had used a cut out of Lucy's face to cover up "there at least now you have your face," Mira said as Wendy walked into the room

"I'm back," Wendy said

"We found that potion that Lucy used," Carla said

"And I got you your gate keys too," Wendy said

"Oh right," Lucy screamed as she ran up to Wendy, "I forgot my gate keys, thank ladies," Wendy said, "now, which one should I use? Aquarius and Loke are my strongest, but I doubt they'll be much use here."

"I know we can call Gemini," Happy said

"Why," Lucy asked

"Just do it," Happy told her

"{open gate of the twins: Gemini}" Gemini appeared already transformed into Lucy; she smiled.

"Ah yeah," Gemini shouted, "Lucy is ready to go."

"Hey, I can see her," Macao said

"You do know that's not really her right," Wakaba muttered at him

"And now," Happy said as he brought over Lucy making her stand behind Gemini, "all she has to do is this for the rest of her life problem solved"

"No, it's not," Lucy screamed, pushing Happy and Gemini away

"you two got quiet," Mira muttered as she walked up "everything okay."

"Yeah," Levy said, "just analyzing the potion," she explained, "We figured that if we know how it works, we can create a counter effect" Levy smiled, "and there all done" she handed a piece of paper to Freed "piece of cake for your truly"

"Thank you," Freed said "now leave the rest to me," he said. He created an enchantment around her "now stand perfectly still; this will be over soon," Freed said as he struck with the enhancement.

"Wait, nothing happened," Gray said

"I was afraid of this," Freed said, "while I may have nullified the effects, it would appear that the effects will take the same about of time to wear off."

"I have to wait seven years," Lucy screamed as her body started to glow "no way are my clothes starting to disappear," she cried.

"Oh no," Levy said, "I was afraid something like this would happen," as she got confused, looks from everyone. "Time can drastically affect how a potion works, and how long this one been sitting out it could be way more power than we thought."

"What do you mean," Freed asked as the bottle disappeared "what."

"Lucy," Levy stopped, "her very existence is being removed from history."

"What," everyone said.

"We need to find Mavis now," Natsu said as Lucy started to glow "hold on, Lucy," he said

"No, I won't disappear," Lucy screamed "look," she said only to phase through her own body "what" she looked around everyone had stopped "hey guys, what's going on."

"I totally blanked out," Levy muttered, "what were we talking about."

"I don't know, "Freed responded "it mustn't be important then," he said

"I feel a sense of urgency, though," Wendy said

"I feel it too," Carla said "did something happen with Juvia upstairs"

"no I checked on her earlier," Wendy said "she's still asleep"

"Could we be under a malicious spell or enchantment?" Erza asked

"No idea," Gray said

"You feel anything weird, Natsu" Happy asked as Natsu scratched his head

"I'm honestly just hungry," Natsu said

"Aye"

"Come on" Lucy screamed. "I'm standing right in front of you," Lucy shouted as everyone started to move around, going back to what they were doing before she had come to the pub that day "come on, I'm as real as sunshine," Lucy shouted as she ran up to Natsu who along with Wendy had gotten back to their meal "stop eating Natsu you too Wendy" she screamed "come on Erza, Gray" Lucy begged "no" Lucy sad falling to her knees "I'm like a ghost who can't even haunt anyone"

"Man, that was tasty," Natsu said as he finished his meal, pushing it forward "ah yeah, let's go grab Lucy and get some work done," he screamed, stopping.

"Lucy," Happy muttered.

"Oh yeah, Lucy," the pair screamed, "she's our best friend and partner, the one who completes us," they shouted.

"Oh yeah, Lucy," Wendy said, sitting up, "she's our closest friend and the heart of our team."

"Right," Erza said, "that's what it was"

"I need to drop what I'm doing, " Gray said "our friend needs us, right," he said,

"you guys," Lucy muttered as they all turned to see. "I'm back," she said, tears in her eyes.

"Lu," Levy screamed, running up to her "you okay," she asked

"Yeah," Lucy said, "thank guys," she smiled, "you guys are the best."

outside, Mavis let out a sigh of relief 'those kids love to pull it close, don't they' she admitted as she looked inside, everyone hugging Lucy, glad that she was okay looking into the distance. Mavis smiled 'just another day in our lives, I guess."

Another day, another time our heroes get themselves into some random tomfoolery, I'll admit I've kinda missed writing them just simply interacting with each other having done these past few arcs back to back. so it's nice to have them in a calm setting that doesn't involve them getting beat up. but anyway tell me what you think in the comments and I'll see you next time
