Luz hands the attendant the tickets and they walked in. Boscha picked up a map of the zoo and looked it over as they came to the first intersection.
"Human animals have weird names." Boscha said.
"Really? What do they call them?" Willow asked as she looked at the map as well.
"Listen to these weird names. Gorillas, zebra, sloths, elephants. Who comes up with these names?" Boscha asked with a chuckle.
"Wait until you see some of them." Luz said.
'Especially the ones tall and spotted.' She thought.
"A lot of people seem to be here." Amity commented.
"I guess the zoo is pretty popular. I think the Beast Keeping Coven would like this place too." Willow said.
"Why don't we have a zoo?" Boscha asked.
"Maybe because most of the animals in the demon realm are too deadly?" Luz said in a low voice.
"She does have a point. It would take a squad of witches to try and catch something like a Slitherbeast." Amity said.
"My amazing girlfriend could do it. She's better than anyone with her weapons." Boscha said.
Luz felt pride, hugging her girlfriend close but felt a bit bad knowing what would most likely scare them.
"Well, let's start with...the 'North America' zone." Willow said, "Did I say that right?"
"Yes, you did Willow." Luz said as she lead them through the zoo.
For the next few hours, the group had learned about the animals the earth had to offer and about some the environments they lived in. Boscha had an unhealthy addiction to every venomous snake there was, mainly the King Cobra. Willow found fruit bats to be adorable. Amity found the Lion to be a majestic, especially the male they had here because it was a rare white lion. Luz smirked; they were almost at the demon.
'Looks like they found their, what do humans call them? Spirit animals, yeah.' Luz thought with a nod.
"Well, we're almost done, just a few animals left." Luz said.
The group continued through the zoo, stopping for snacks and drinks in souvenir cups, until they reached the Africa section of the zoo where the animals had the most unique appearances. Zebra, to them were small horses with black and white strips; elephants, large beasts with sharp looking tusks; Hyena, black spotted cats that somehow laugh.
"These animals were so interesting." Boscha said.
"Let's go up here." Luz said, covering the sign with her body.
'Why is she covering that sign?' Amity thought but went up to the next section anyway.
When they went up, Luz walked with them, uncovering the sign that said "Giraffe".
"Why is this one so high up?" Willow asked.
"I think it's an animal that flies, like a rare bird." Luz said to them.
They got to the top and looked out. Amity felt herself freeze, Willow gasped loudly, and Boscha felt her knees become week. At least Luz could comfort Boscha and whisper to help calm her down.
"It's alright, they're not like the legends say anymore." Luz whispered as she hugged Boscha from behind.
"Nope, not doing this." Amity said.
Standing before them, in a large fence and a deep habitat, was a giraffe!
"Come on, Mittens, I want a picture for our parents." Luz said.
"A picture with that?!" Amity said as she pointed to it, the giraffe currently eating leaves from a tree. "You must be crazy to think I'll get next to that!"
"It's harmless now, trust me. They've become tame being her." Luz said, pulling out her scroll.
"Not a thing on this world will get me next to it!"
"I think it would be cool." Willow said.
"Get your camera ready, Kitten." Amity said.
'Well, I guess Willow isn't part of this world.' Luz thought.
Boscha had a small chuckle at this as she stayed close to Luz, still scared of the giraffe a bit.
"Okay, mittens, just scoot a bit to the left and I can get both you with the giraffe in frame." Luz said to her.
Amity started to shake a little, unaware the giraffe was walking closer, attracted to her bright orange hair. The giraffe hovered over Amity's head and sniffed her hair, thinking it would be as delicious as it smells, causing the witch froze in fear as she felt its breath!
'Please Titan, let it not the scent like my shampoo!' Amity thought, 'Damn it, I'm never buying orange scented shampoo again!'
It licked her hair and Amity screamed. She jumped up and Willow caught her. Luz couldn't help but save the picture.
"Nice girlfriend you got there, Mittens." Luz said.
Willow looked at her.
"Girlfriend? Amity, do you... like me?"
This made Amity blush as she cursed Luz for this, seeing her sister smirking at her.
'Damn you, Luz!' She thought.
"Well, can I tell you a secret?" Willow said, "I like you too."
"What?" Amity asked quickly, turning to Willow. "You…. like me too?"
"I do." Willow said as she placed Amity on her feet.
"I... I was so nervous that I would ruin our friendship if I told you." Amity said.
"I had the same fear." Willow said, "But not anymore. Amity, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" Amity said as she hugged Willow, smiling brightly, "So... what now?"
Luz cleared her throat, getting their attention. Luz pointed at her lips, then at Boscha's lips, indicating what they were supposed to do.
'K-Kiss?! But we haven't even been in a date yet!' Amity and Willow thought, blushing brightly.
"Babe, they might need a minute, let's go look at another animal." Boscha said.
"Agreed." Luz said as she and Boscha left the new couple to themselves. "Meet us at the Amazon Cafe in an hour!"
"That was nice getting them together." Boscha said.
"Well, it wasn't-"
"I'm going to have to give you a reward."
"It was nothing really. I just wanted to see my sister happy." Luz quickly said with smile.
Boscha put her hand on Luz's chin and turned her head to face Boscha. Boscha pressed their lips together and forced her tongue into Luz's mouth. Luz wrapped her arms around Boscha waist and began wrestling her in tongue against Boscha's, which was a challenge since the triclops had a long reptile like tongue. Luz separated from Boscha.
"Why is your tongue so long?"
"Half demon, remember?" Boscha said.
"Oh yeah, if forget that sometimes." Luz said.
"But you still love it." Boscha said with a smirk.
"Nope, I love all of you." Luz said.
"Good." Boscha said.
They went back to kissing.
'Please don't extend your tongue.' Luz thought, knowing her tongue is ten feet long.
Nothing felt bad about tongue kissing Boscha but it was rather uncomfortable when she literally stuck her tongue down Luz's throat one time. Almost made her throat up in Boscha's mouth from gagging so much. Boscha pulled back and smiled.
"I love you, Kitten." Boscha said.
"And I love you, Bo."
The couple continued walking as they held hands, staying close to each other.
"So, what do you want to do while we wait?"
"I say after checking out the tigers, we get some souvenirs. I'm sure Ed and Em would love their own little giraffes." Luz said with a devious smirk.
"That is evil... and I love it." Boscha said with an equally devious smirk.
"And I know for a fact that Skara loves Human Butterflies, so I might find something with that."
"And for me?" Boscha asked her.
"For you, I'll buy you something special." Luz said.
Boscha noticed Amity and Willow, walking hand in hand, into the reptile house.
"Hey, look." Boscha motioned her head towards them.
Looking to the reptile house, Luz saw Amity and Willow going in together.
"Want to go spy on them?" Boscha asked.
"Do you even have to ask?" Luz said with a smirk before they followed the other couple.
They followed them until Willow and Amity stopped. They started to look at the Nile Crocodile.
"So diverse and able to fill in many different niches." Willow said, "Amity, can I tell you how much I love you?"
"S-Sure, Willow." Amity said, stuttering with a blush.
She still couldn't believe Willow felt the same and they were officially dating now.
"I have had dreams about marrying you, I want to be the one by your side for every problem, I want to be there on your bad days. Amity, I love you and haven't felt like this for anyone else."
"Y-You mean all that?" Amity asked as he face turned bright red.
"Y-Yeah, I do. And I can understand if it sounds like too much b-"
"It's not. It's far from too much." Amity said as she gained confidence, kissing Willow on the cheek. "It sounds before to me. Willow, there hasn't been a day that I haven't been able to get you out of my head. I love you and I always have."
"Awwwwwe!" A crowd of human let out, finding their young love adorable to watch.
Boscha and Luz watched them, smiling at how Amity and Willow finally got together.
'Everyone's not going to believe this.' Luz thought as she took a picture, planning to send it before they enter the portal back home.
"Come on, Luz, let's go meet up with them." Boscha said.
Luz nodded to Boscha as they decided to join the new couple, changing from meeting at the Amazon Cafe in the zoo to going their as a group.
"Hey, sis, you going to come with us?" Luz asked.
Boscha and Willow turned to them, seeing the other couple smiling at them.
Amity walked up to Luz and hugged her.
"Thanks for bringing us here." Amity said, "I wouldn't have my girlfriend if you didn't."
"Well, it was more Mama to thank but you're welcome." Luz said as she hugged her sister back. "But you owe me for giving you that little "push."
"Fine." Amity said, "So... are we good now?"
Luz nodded.
"We're good."
From that point, the group continued to look at some more animals in the zoo before heading to the Amazon Cafe, a restaurant based on a jungle on Earth.
"You know, it just occurred to me, out of the four of us, only Mittens and I have eaten human food." Luz said.
"Oh yeah, we have." Amity said.
"It's not poisonous, is it?" Willow asked them.
"I mean, we're here still." Luz said.
"But that doesn't mean you're not going to eat something bad later." Boscha said to Luz.
"Well, just wait and see how you like it."
Luz led the group inside of the cafe and brought them booth near the front.
"So, what do you guys want?"
"I don't know, they say they have chicken, but I usually like my chicken... alive." Boscha said.
Being a half demon meant she liked her food to be living before she ate it, Boscha liked for it to put up a little fight as it went down.
"I'm afraid they don't serve LIVE food but the way they season it will make you forget all about it." Luz said to her girlfriend.
"I'll trust you." Boscha said.
"What about you Willow? Still vegan?" Luz asked.
"But how does that work? Isn't that like plant cannibalism?" Boscha asked.
"Well, I don't like hurting animals." Willow said.
"Willow has always had a soft spot for animals, almost so much that she considered joining the Beast Keeping track when we first got to choose our tracks." Amity said to them.
"Why didn't you?" Boscha asked.
"Because I have a natural ability to use plant magic." Willow said, "As for your question, I've dialed back a little. I'm only a vegetarian now."
"So, Chicken for Boscha, Salad for Willow. Mittens, what do you want?" Luz asked.
Amity looked over the menu and tapped her lip.
"Hmmm, I think I'll try the Flat Iron Steak." Amity said to her sister.
"Alright and I know what I want." Luz said, "And thanks to mom stealing so many wallets, I have thousands in human currency."
To prove her point, Luz reached into her hair and pulled out a human wallet with hundreds of dollars inside.
"I will never understand how you do that." Boscha said.
"She asked one of our mothers to turn her hair into a pocket storage dimension. Said it was a family tradition by choice." Amity said.
"So... can you go that?" Willow asked.
"I prefer not to." Amity said to her girlfriend.
They all got their food and sat down.
"Well, dig in." Luz said.
Boscha sniffed her food and found it surprisingly delicious! Even if it wasn't alive, it still smells amazing to her.
"Damn. They know how to cook a chicken." Boscha whispered as she licked her lips.
She shot her tongue out and pulled it back into her mouth. She swallowed a piece of it whole.
"Uh, maybe don't do that in the Human World." Luz said.
"I'm just glad she didn't spray acid on it." Amity said.
"Okay, I can't do that... anymore." Boscha said, "I had to get my acid gland removed."
It really could've come in handy for the bones, Boscha still liked to eat the bones, but the acid helped make them chewier.
"Wait, you never told us about that." Amity said, "Why did you do that?"
"It was more of a punishment for accidentally melting a fountain statue." Boscha mumbled with embarrassment.
"I'm not even going to ask how you did that." Luz said.
While they were enjoying their day, Belos was preparing his army of Titans Blood Mechs.
Specialized robotic marvels of technology and magic created by the second in command of the Abomination Coven, Alador Blight. The reason for these? An assault.
"How is it looking, Kikimora?" Belos asked.
"They should be fully powered in three weeks." Kiki said, "The amount of Titan's Blood we took from the heart will mitigate the amount of time, but there is still the testing of them."
"It doesn't matter how long it takes, the Owl Lady's key will be mine."
"And the day of Unity shall come to fruition." He said with a smirk under his mask.
"But what about the rest of the family?"
"I have a cage that blocks magic for their kids, along with the Owl Lady's partners."
"And the youngest?"
"Not worth my time. Her weapons are useless against me, and she can't do magic. When I attack, a simple mech will kill her."
"Of course, your majesty." Kikimora said with a nod.
