The next day, Luz was allowed to leave the Healing Center, and was forced to stay home from school. Her arm was in a cast and her head was wrapped to keep her stitches safe. The Healer they got said that with the right amount of Healing Glyphs would allow it to heal in about two weeks. Then he told the parents separately, that it would be a 50/50 on if her arm would be the way it was before. If not, they may have to perform surgery to fix any damage. This horrified Camila, the thought of having to shove a metal rod into Luz's arm in order for it to work, but it was far better than the other option... amputation. Nobody likes that thought, not even if Luz could somehow make a replacement arm for herself. They had to hope Luz would heal enough for her arm to not need surgery or amputation. Amity helped Luz into her room and then locked the door so none of the others could get near Luz.

"I think you're taking this a little far, Mittens." Luz said.

"After what happened, maybe I'm not going far enough. I could handcuff us together if I had any." Amity said with a straight face.

"No, no! This is enough." Luz said with her left hand up, waving it.

"Now, you just stay there, and I'll do whatever you need!" Amity said.

"I would like to go to my workshop." Luz said.

"You heard our parents; you need at least one day of resting before you can go back into the workshop. The only reason they would let you in there is if I'm with you."

"Exactly. So, let's go." Luz said, pointing to her door.

"What did I just say? You need to rest ONE day, we'll go to your workshop tomorrow, okay?" Amity suggested to Luz.

Luz groaned a bit, it was like being treated like a baby, but she could understand why they did it.

"Okay, fine but what are we supposed to do until them?" Luz asked.

"Read a book, catch up on homework, or watch the crystal ball." Amity replied.

"Let's see what's on the crystal ball." Luz said.

Luz did not seem like going over homework she already did, and she didn't feel like reading right now, even if it was an Azura book. So, she and Amity moved to sit on her bed with a crystal ball in front of them as Luz held the remote.

"So... an AEW Pay Per View is on tonight, and-"

"We're not watching wrestling Luz." Amity said, "We both know that you get too hyper for that."

"Oh, come on!" Luz said as Amity took the remote from her.

"No watching wrestling with a broken arm. You'd still try to impersonate it." Amity said as she changed the channel.

"Hey, my Coffin Drop is awesome!" Luz said.

"Thank you for proving my point."

After finding a suitable channel WITHOUT anything similar to wrestling, Luz and Amity watched the crystal ball in silence as the younger sibling was now healing like she was told. Doing nothing strenuous or as she called it, being bored all day. Meanwhile, outside of the bedroom, the trio of the oldest were standing before the door nervous. They hadn't seen Luz since she got back, especially since Amity had made it her mission to not let them see her yet…hopefully.

"We'll be fine, right?" Edric asked.

"The sign she put on the door says no visitors." Emira said, "With our faces and the eyes crossed out... no, we will not be alright."

"We've got to at least try. I don't want to spend the rest of my life with Luz hating us." Skara said as she walked to the door to knock on it. "I want to make this right, no matter what happens."

Before her hand could touch the door, it opened. Amity growled at them, making them all take a step back.

"Sorry, but Luz isn't taking any visitors." Amity said before slamming the door in their faces.

"…. Honestly, that was better than I expected." Edric said with a shrug.

"Shut up, Ed." Skara said before knocked on the door. "Amity, Luz. Please let us in, we wanna talk."

The door opened again, this time she had a smile.

"Sorry, no visitors, doctors' orders."

"Then why are you with Luz?" Emira asked.

"To keep her company and help her if she needs it. Also, to make sure she does what the doctor says and rests at least one day before going back to the workshop." Amity said as she closed the door again, but Skara put her foot in the way.

"Amity, let us see her. She's our sister too." Skara said as she pushed the door back open.

"Really?" Amity said, "You're going to pull that card? Let me remind you that this is because you called her the worst sister ever. Do you really think I'll allow those that hurt my sister near her?"

"Mittens, we didn't mean what we said, we were just angry." Edric said to her.

"Being angry doesn't excuse what you said about Luz. So, what if we had to spill who we were dating, it doesn't make up for what you said being horrible." Amity said as she glared at them. "It was the whole reason she left the house and got hurt in the first place!"

Amity slammed the door in her face, and the outline on it indicated that she put a silence spell on it so she couldn't hear them. But that didn't stop them from banging in the door to try and get their attention. Amity eventually made an Abomination to guard the door.

"Guh!" It said while crossing its arms.

"Wow, she is really not going to let us near her." Skara said.

"If they weren't siblings, they'd be dating with how much Amity cares about her." Edric said.

"Don't make this weird, Ed." Emira said as she shoved him a bit.

"She might be able to keep us out, but she can't block our scrolls to Luz." Skara said as she pulled out her scroll.

Skara called Luz, only to hear that the number has been blocked.

"Okay, maybe she can."

"You know what, let's just give it a couple days for Amity to calm to down." Emira said.

"But…" Skara said but was cut off.

"I don't like it either, but we have to wait until they want to talk to us. We do deserve it for being such asses to Luz." Edric said in shame but acceptance.

"Yeah, we really do."

After accepting that they have to be shut out for now, the trio returned to their rooms to do their own business until they can see Amity and Luz hopefully.
