Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. Not much to say today, though this chapter was an odd one that I forgot about when writing this arc like we have a whole episode between day two and day three, you know, minus the whole Natsu vs. Sabertooth thing, which I'll get to later, in any case, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Natsu: day two has come to an end

Lucy: And we've finally gained some momentum

Gray: let's not get too cocky now we have to stay focused

Wendy: he's right; we're not at the top yet

Natsu: oh yeah, we're all fired up

"Damn it," he called, "I didn't think he could run this fast, especially after that race earlier."

"let's see if he can outrun a bullet" Natsu appeared in front of him, slamming him to the ground as he ran off.

"Get back here," Natsu screamed, "you're not taking Lucy."

"Who hired you to do this" Natsu growled, appearing behind them as he knocked them all out, creating a large explosion from his attack.

"someone hired us to do it."

"Some guy from Raven tail wanted us to take the girl that as in the infirmary."

"Sure," a knight said, "they can tell us all about it in headquarters."

"What could they want with Lucy," Natsu asked.

"Beats me," Lucy said, "didn't Wendy say they were after me during the infinity clock crisis."

"They were, but all that's over now," Natsu said "but Raven tail is clearly up to something," Natsu said

you, idiot," Arcadius shouted, "we were this close to having a celestial wizard." he sighed as he turned away, "and what of the kidnappers."

"They still believe a member of Raven tail was who hired them," he reported, "they don't know if the truth, sir."

"Good," Arcadios said, "we can use the rivalry of fairy tail and Raven tail to our advantage" he smiled, "and thanks to their past actions, Fairy tail will be wearier of them."

"Yes, sir"

"We will have a celestial wizard" he smiled

"To use in the Eclipse project."

Malice Concealed by the Veil of Darkness

Jiemma glared at Yukino as the girl wiped the grapes from her head and face. Everyone had gone silent as Yukino turned to face him. "Good girl," he said as he leaned back, "then you will throw it all away," he said. He could see the embarrassment on her face, but he didn't care.

"If that is what you wish," Yukino said as she started to remove her clothes; everyone in the room stood in silence as the girl slowly removed her clothes, placing them on the ground as she covered herself, looking back at their master. He glared at her finding the guild mark located on her stomach. He frowned.

"you no longer deserve that emblem," he shouted "erase it," he screamed, "and get out of my sight." he stood up, towering over her as Yukino had to hide her blush as he walked up to her "you are no longer worthy of the heavens, the mere fact that a pathetic piece of trash like you was allowed in my guild is a disgrace" he screamed as he used his magic to blast her back "now begone," no one said anything as Yukino shakily stood up refusing to as no one went to aid her injures from her earlier fight still present as she tried to pick up her clothes only to be kicked again "speed up your mere presence disgust me" he spat.

"That was hard to watch," Sting muttered as he and Rogue walked to their room "master can be so intense sometimes."

"Yeah," Lector said, "but that's the way it has to be right."

"I'm going to miss her," Frosh muttered "she was so nice" this was enough to get Rouge to stop making everyone look at him.

"Are we sure this is right?" Rogue asked, "Is this truly how a guild should be" he looked at Sting "she was our friend more than that. you've known her your whole life."

"You know what master says about the weakest link," Sting said "he doesn't tolerate it, and neither should we" he looked back at his friend, a smile on his face, "that's the way we have to be in this world of ours." In contrast, his face didn't say it. Rogue could see the hurt in his eyes. He could tell that he didn't fully believe it, or Natsu's words from earlier struck a chord in him that he didn't know about it sure had him thinking about how he looked at the guild.

"I guess you're right," Rogue said, wanting to drop the subject "we move forward; she just wasn't worthy."

"Yeah, and besides, I hear Minerva going to replace her in the lineup," Lector said

"Really," Sting said, evident excitement in his voice, "with our five strongest, we'll dominate this competition," he said as they left.

"Rogue," Frosh asked, "we'll I have to leave to," he asked, "cause I'm weak."

"That won't happen," Rogue told his friend. "You have me."

"I hope you're here forever."

"Thanks for walking us back, Mira, you too, Laxus," Lucy said. "I hope it's not too much trouble for you," Lucy said next to her was Michelle, Katja, and surprisingly enough, Laxus why he was there was anyone's guess. Still, right now, they needed to travel in a group on Mavis, Natsu, and Mira's order "you seem a bit tired."

"it's no problem," Mira said, "besides, I wanted to make sure Natsu is behaving himself."

"You're such a momma bear when it comes to him, Mira, and Elfman too, for that matter," Laxus said, "the kid is going to be fine."

"they are my baby brothers, so I can momma bear over them as much as I want," Mira screamed at him.

"Speaking of which," Laxus said, ignoring the girl's outburst, "where are your friends anyway," he asked. "I expected you guys to travel as a group."

"While I can't speak for Natsu, Erza, Wendy, Happy, and Carla," Lucy said, "Gray's dealing with his own brand of crazy."

"it's time we get a straight answer," Lyon shouted

"And we're not leaving until we do," Juvia shouted

"I almost feel bad for him," Mira muttered

"Then where did Natsu and Erza run off to," Michelle asked. "Wendy too, for that matter."

"I'm not their keeper," Lucy told her cousin. This got a laugh out of Mira

"Knowing those two, Natu and Erza are off making kissy-face," she laughed, clearly thinking back to their conversation with Crime Sorcière wizards and their subsequent relationship with two of the members

"Wait, what," everyone asked

"I doubt it's that," Laxus said

"Maybe they're all getting a solo workout," Michelle offered

"Erza may not be alone, but she's definitely getting a workout," Mira laughed. "Natsu too, for that matter."

"If I'm being honest," intentionally Laxus wanted to stay out of this conversation, but after that remark, he had to take it aside. "I'd be a little disappointed in both of them if they didn't," Laxus muttered.

"Wendy is with him," Lucy said "those two are practically joined at the hip these days," Lucy said, "not to mention Happy and Carla." Lucy said, "so Mira, I doubt that they're doing, that" Lucy argued, "and knowing Erza, she's probably at the pub or talking with Mavis. and if anything, Natsu and Wendy are off stuffing the faces with any food they could get their hands on" Lucy said

"I also doubt there going to do something like that while you all trying to get your home back," Michelle reasoned.

"Those naive comments proves you know nothing," Mira said

"Why would working out together be bad," Katja asked

"don't worry about it," Lucy and Michelle told her. They honestly forgot the girl was here "you'll find out when you're older."

"Hey, that girl in front of your inn looks familiar," Laxus said

"She does," Mira said

"How can you guys tell," Lucy asked as they approached; they saw Yukino, who now was a plain white tank-top with black straps and a simple black mini-skirt. She looked at Lucy, not even smiling. The entire group saw that her face was stained with tears, and she looked like she was in pain as the group approached her.

"I wanted to wait until the games ended to do my big reveal," Millennia said, "but I just wanted to see you so bad," she screamed as she hugged Erza "come on, Erzy, let's run away together and be happy," she cried.

"You're so silly" Erza laughed at her friend's remarks. "I was impressed by your guildmate, Kagura, was it"

"Yea, she's the strongest member of our team." Millennia said, "not to mention the strongest member of our guild." she then let out a laugh, "she might be stronger than you, Erzy."

"Then I look forward to the chance to fight her," Erza said

"Well, it is a tournament," Millennia said, "but she might not go all out, " Millennia said

"Why not," Erza asked

"you saw how she didn't draw her arch-enemy sword, right," Millennia asked to which Erza nodded "she promised not to use its full power until she meets the man she named it for," Millennia said, her face growing dark "she won't rest until she puts him into the ground for all he's done" Millennia smiled "she won't stop until she's killed Jellal" those words hung in the air as Erza looked in shock "I don't blame her," Millennia said tears started to form in her eyes "you feel the same way don't you Erzy," Millennia asked "I've never stopped hating that man" she growled "he used us as pawns, we were nothing but tools" she screamed "that's why I joined with Kagura, that why I became a member of Mermaid heel," Millennia said she stopped when she felt Erza's warm embrace.

"Millennia," Erza whispered. "I'm so sorry," Erza said

"it's not your fault," Millennia muttered "there was nothing you could do" she pushed her away, looking her in the eyes, "but you'll help us, right" Millennia, "you'll help us take down Jellal once and for all."

Erza said nothing as she looked into the distance, the memories of the tower of heaven coming to her mind. Still, it was overshadowed by everything else she had done, everything else she had seen since then the pain that she and her friends have gone through from the war in Edolas to the events of Tenrou Island, her mind went to Jellal and everything she had learned about why he did what he did "you know the night sky is so beautiful" Erza said much to Millennia shock a long time ago Erza would have jumped at the chance to kill Jellal but now "I used to think like that" Erza said "I know what you are going through" she looked at her "and I want to warn you that taking his life will only make you feel numb on the inside Millennia."

"So what? I just let him go," Millennia screamed. "I'm supposed to pretend that he didn't kill one of my best friends," she shouted "he took Simone away from us; he took him away from you." she called again "we didn't see each other for years, Because of him." her voice echoed across the night sky as tears started running down her face "I'm supposed to pretend none of that doesn't matter."

"I'm not saying you need to forgive him," Erza said. "I'm not saying that Jellal will never face justice" she looked at her friend, "but I want you to hear this," Erza said, "something that I've learned," she let out a sigh "we can't let the past stop us, we shouldn't hold on to the past," Erza told her "all it needs to do is to remind us how we've grown."

"I don't" Millennia stopped looking away.

"You have people you can lean on, Millennia," Erza said, "and look at you, a proud wizard in a guild that cares about you," Erza said, "they care about right."

"of course, they do," Millennia said, tears filling her eyes, "but what about Simone" she shouted "he took him from us" she stopped when she felt Erza hugging her again. "That bastard killed him in cold blood."

"it's okay," Erza said. "I miss him too," she said as Millennia finally gave in and started crying in her arms. She rubbed her back, holding her old friend as tightly as possible "but you don't have to bear that burden," Erza said. "I promise no matter what I will always be there for you," Erza said, "but you have to let go," Erza said, "grow on your own, don't let who you were or what's happened to you stop you from achieving the heights you deserve" Erza finished as she hugged Millennia the sounds of her cry's echoing through the area.

The air was silent in the inn as Lucy and Yukino sat across from each other. Behind her was Laxus, who had a skeptical look. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop as Yukino shifted uncomfortably "would you stop glaring at the poor thing" Lucy said as Laxus looked away.

"Hey, she came here," Laxus shot back. "Sabertooth is the enemy," he told her, "So we need to be on our guard at all times." he said to the celestial wizard "right now, we shouldn't trust anyone in a guild."

"that's hilarious coming from you," Lucy groaned out

"Can it both of you," Mira said as she walked into the room, first aid kit in hand. "I asked Michelle to go find Wendy," Mira said as she looked at some of the bruises on the girl. "Laxus, would you mind stepping out."

"I'm fine," Yukino finally said "thank you, though"

"You need to get these looked at," she said, but Yukino shook her head

"The reason I came here," Yukino muttered, "was to speak with you, Lucy, nothing more," she said. Everyone looked at the girl, confused. They could all tell she was in pain, "my guild; I just left from there."

"Did they send you here to mess with her" Laxus asked

"Let's hear her out," Mira reasoned. "I doubt that's the reason."

"The reason," Yukino said as she placed her two gate keys on the table, "is that I wanted you to have these," Yukino said

"Wait," Lucy shouted, "please think this through"

"I have," Yukino said. "I decided to give them to you after watching you fight," Yukino told her. "I was going to give them to you after the games were over anyway."

"So why not just wait till then," Laxus asked.

"The games were over for me the second I lost," Yukino said. "Minerva will take my place," she told them, "And then you will be going against the five members who transformed Sabertooth into the powerhouse that it is today," she revealed "the true Sabertooth tigers."

"We thought you were one of the five," Mira asked.

"So, you're just giving them up," Katja said, "but why there your spirits." she shouted, thinking back to her time as a celestial wizard "don't you love them"

"True," Yukino said, "that's why I have to give them to Lucy," Yukino noted, "she is clearly the superior celestial wizard."

"While I appreciate the compliment, " Lucy said, "the answer is still no."

"Please, you must take them," Yukino said "you've already gathered ten of the twelve zodiacs," Yukino noted, "once you do, the gate that can change the world will open."

"what"

"It's an old legend," Yukino told her, "But still I know that you love celestial spirits," she said, "and they, in turn, love you" she faked a smile, "I know that you'll put them to better use."

"I still have to say no," Lucy told her "these are your spirits," Lucy said, "and I can tell that you love them just as much as I love mine" she smiled at her as Yukino looked away, "you say I'm the superior wizard, but you are pretty skilled yourself," Lucy told her "sure you lost today, but what's important that you pick yourself up, your career isn't over, because of one loss," Lucy said "we've all known defeat before," Lucy told her "all that means is that you have to grow from it and keep getting stronger, today's loss is tomorrow's victory," Yukino said nothing as Mira walked up to her.

"I," she stopped looking at her keys, "okay" she then felt Mira place a hand on her shoulder.

"Come on," she said, "Want me to walk you back to your place."

"No, that's" she stopped, tear starting to form in her eyes. "I can't take it," she muttered "no one's ever shown so much concern for me," she muttered.

"Hey, what's wrong," Mira said

"They were my idols," she muttered. "I looked up to the members of Sabertooth so much," she cried.

"They kicked her out," Laxus muttered

"What," Lucy asked, "why."

"Juvia said that Jiemma creep is Sabertooth guild master," Laxus asked to which the duo nodded "that man is a sadist," he growled, "probably the reason she covered in injuries" he looked away. It reminded him of how he used to think, but not even he was that extreme. There was a reason he kept the thunder legion around. They were his friends, and deep down, he knew that he could rely on them to get the job done, but that man would kill you for sneezing wrong. friend or not

"Yukino," Mira muttered, "come on, stand up," she whispered, her caring nature taking through "let's get you fixed up," she said, "do you have a place to sleep," she asked as everyone in the room watched her.

Erza walked alone now. She had just walked Millennia back to her current inn. She wanted to make sure she got home safe after her breakdown. She sighed 'figures that would happen' she shook her head as she came to the railing. 'I'll tell her about Jellal," Erza said. 'I have no choice, but I'll wait until she can clear her head.'

"Hey Erza," a voice called. She turned to see Gray walking up to her "what you are doing out here by yourself," he asked.

"Just needed some fresh air is all," Erza told him. "You."

"After dealing with Lyon and Juvia's nonsense, I deserved some fresh air," Gray muttered.

"Nonsense, huh," Erza said as Gray looked away, " I wasn't even there, and I know what nonsense there talking about" she looked at him "she deserves a straight answer" Erza smiled "then again, who am I to lecture others on matters of the heart," Erza said

"Are you sure you are, okay?" Gray asked

"I'm fine," Erza said, "nothing to worry about."

"Hey, can I ask you something," Mira said as she finished tying up Yukino's wounds; the girl looked at her before nodding. She had calmed down a bit as she wiped another tear.

"Something wrong, Mira," Lucy asked.

"Sting said something today that has me confused," Mira said, "he said what happened to the hero of my childhood."

"I don't see what's so weird about that," Lucy added

"Natsu and I aren't exactly famous outside of our nicknames," Mira said

"she's right," Yukino said "the she-devil and Salamander are the most mysterious wizard duo, in all of Fiore," Yukino said, "wizards everywhere want to meet you and test their skill against you," Yukino said, "Sabertooth may have been my Idols." Yukino said, "but even then, I was young, easy to impress" she then looked at Mira "but you and Natsu are our heroes," she said, "and no matter what happens," she said, "you are the kind of wizards that we both aspire to be" her words hung in the air as Mira looked away

"so my hunch was right," Mira muttered, to which Yukino nodded

"Wait, so you're saying that? "Lucy started

"Yes," Mira said

"Sting and I are childhood friends," Yukino said, "and when we were younger we were enthralled by stories of the Salamander and she-devil of magnolia, and as such when went to the town they were said to reside like many of the children there, we started to look up to them," she said, "we were there when we lost everything."

"So that explains Sting's hostility to Natsu," Lucy muttered. "Natsu is," she stopped "this is a lot to process."

"We were gone for seven years," Mira said "they were probably the same age as Wendy or younger," Mira muttered, "so it's no surprise that there now our age," she looked at Yukino "let's not worry about that," she said placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Thank you," Yukino muttered, "for everything."

"Mira," a voice called as Kinana ran into the room, "there you are," she said, trying to catch her breath " Sabertooth," she said, "they sent us a message."

"What," Mira said, "what did it say."

"They wanted to meet," she said. "Natsu went ahead."

"By himself," Mira shouted.

"No, Wendy went with him," she said, "but he told me to come to find you and tell you," Levy said. "Gajeel and Lily are looking for Ms. Mavis."

"What could this mean," Mira said. She shot a look at Yukino, who looked uncomfortable. She sighed "well, Wendy is with him," she sighed. "I'll let him handle it."

"alright"

"So why are we waiting here again," Orga asked

"a prize, my boy," Jiemma said; he had gathered the entire guild as their master had something about to go down "our strongest none S-class member will give us a report of their skill," he said. Soon the room rumbled as the door busted open as someone flew into the room, landing in front of Jiemma. He glared at him as he tried to stand up as two enormous magic powers entered the room, a shadow covering their faces as Natsu and Wendy came from the smoke.

"I see," Sting said, "big fish indeed."

Sabertooth and fairy tail finally meet face to face as Natsu and Wendy go to confront the guild that forced them out of their home, what will the outcome be for this encounter, and what id Sabertooth's master planning, find out next time on a fairy tail re-told

Arcadios sat in his private office "to think" he muttered a massive grin on his face "two celestial wizards, one would have ten, and the other would have the remaining two" he let out a laugh "with all twelve, the gate will work as imagined" he smiled as he let out an evil laugh.

"Soon, Zeref, very soon."
