Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told. The grand magic games have ended their second day though that doesn't mean the guild has gone away. Sabertooth has finally sent a request out to meet fairy tail face to face; Natsu and Wendy have gone to confront the guild to see what they want, what is Sabertooth's plan, how will it affect the games in the future, and how will our heroes react to how Sabertooth operates, find out now, on a fairy tail re-told

Natsu: so, we're finally meeting these Sabertooth guys
Wendy: how do you think they are

Lucy: man, so much is happening, so much for a fun tournament
Erza: well, there's always next year
Jiemma scowled as Natsu and Wendy stood in the smoke above them. Happy and Carla landed as their dragon slayer walked into the room. A part of him was disappointed he expected Mystogen to come, however from what he could gather about that man, he only acted when the other members of fairy tale needed him, 'brat probably thought this was beneath him' Jiemma thought as Natsu and Wendy came to a stop Jiemma, however, ignored them as he glared at the member who the pair had knocked through the door he was supposedly the strongest non-S class wizard they had "get out of my sight" he growled as the man sat up he then blasted him with his magic.
"What are you doing" Wendy shouted
"None of your business," he told her, "Weakness has no place here," he said "failure is to be punished," he said "you do not rise to the heights that Sabertooth has, by being compassionate," he said
Wendy was about to make a move when Natsu stuck an arm in front of her "people like you make me sick," Natsu growled out, "so why don't you tell me what you want" he shouted, "so I can get you out of my sight."
"Such strong language for a solo wizard," Jiemma said, "you could be so much more if you submit."
"Like we would ever," Natsu growled, "you know our terms."
Pandemonium
"Why does that one specific town interest you so much boy," Jiemma asked, stepping forward "you wizards are going through a lot of trouble to get it back."
Natsu's mind froze. There was no way they had discovered it right; according to Mavis, no one had been there since they had disappeared "it's our home," Natsu said, "it where we belong, the guild you did place there, are a group of jerks exploiting my people."
"Your people, boy," Jiemma said, "the same people you abandoned," he asked, "the same that you left for seven years."
"don't you dare," Natsu said
"You should show some respect to our master," Rufus said
"The same respect you show your friends," Wendy shouted
"Hmp," Jiemma noted, "we are an army that aims for the heavens," Jiemma said, "you would do well here," but he shook his head, "but your compassion for others hold you back," he said, "your master has grown attached to you and as such has made you weak."
"Whatever you're trying to accomplish, you posh bastard," Wendy started before Natsu stepped in front of her.
"I don't care what you're trying to pull," Natsu said. "I don't know or care what you think of my friends or me" his face started to grow with anger as he glared at Jiemma, "but We will defeat you, and we are taking our home back."
"You hold such value to such things," Jiemma muttered
"we're done here," Natsu said, turning his back as Jiemma's face grew with anger
"don't you turn your back on me," he screamed as he fired a blast. Natsu turned to block the blow before sending out a large burst of fire though, before it, weird energy struck, sending it to the roof, making everyone back up in shock as someone appeared from the smoke a smile formed on Stings face as a slim young woman of average height distinguished by her Eastern look: her long, straight and glossy purple hair, reaching down to her lower back, while mostly left loose, being parted in the middle of her forehead and sporting two bangs framing her face and going down below her shoulders, her hair is also tied into a pair of bun-shaped Dango loops at both sides of her head, and a braid is present some inches below each of such circles. Glossy dark lipstick covered her lips. Her slanted dark eyes, possessing long eyelashes, were topped by a pair of elongated, diagonal dark spots, seemingly acting as or covering her eyebrows. She was wearing a strapless dress. This is shown to possess a large slit in correspondence to Minerva's left leg, exposing her thigh, and comes secured to her body by several dark places on the back and to her right side, revealing a part of her right breast's backside and by a line of metal fasteners taking the shape of two horizontally placed triangles with their bases linked together on her front left side. Such garment is dark in its back part where the laces are light-colored on the show, where a sizeable decorative motif represents a "Saber-toothed cat." Her outfit is completed by a pair of shoulder-length ornamental gloves again bearing dual colors, dark on the arm and hand's lower part and light on the upper one, and dark boots reaching up to her mid calves. Jiemma smiled. "Minerva."
"Who," Natsu asked
"Supposedly, she's the strongest member of Sabertooth," Wendy whispered "never meet her in person, though"
"well," Minerva stated, "what prey has my father brought into our guild this time" she glared, "the legendary Salamander and sky maiden." she looked back at her father "come now, our foes have made their claim not as they'll keep it," she said as shot Wendy a glare "so let them run off to their little friends.
"You wanna say that again" Wendy shouted as Natsu stopped her. She could see he was just as angry as she was, but he had made his point, and it was time for him to go.
"Come on, kid," Natsu said, "they're not worth it"
"Aye," Happy said, grabbing Wendy's leg, "let's just go" Wendy let out a sigh before turning away.
"This isn't over," Wendy said before turning to follow Natsu as they left
"Hmp, they think they're so tough," Ogra started "fine then," he turned to Jiemma "master, let me take place in the games tomorrow," he said, "I'll be sure to put those fairies in their place."
"If that is what you wish," Jiemma said, "just know what the price of failure will be"
"I understand" Minerva smiled.
"don't worry," he said, "by this time tomorrow, I will show the guilds no all of Fiore why they should fear the name Sabertooth" as his guildmates all agreed that they would crush all in their path Rogue mind had been elsewhere thinking of Yukino, and now he saw Natsu and Wendy.
'This is the Sabertooth way.'
"you're going soft on me, aren't you," Wendy said as the pair walked back to their inn.
"Someone had to be the bigger person in that situation, kid," Natsu said
"We don't want to cause any turmoil between us and the guild," Carla said "please, child, you shouldn't get so angry" Wendy let out minor grumbles as everyone laughed at her antics. "I swear sometimes you seem so mature than other times you remind me of Natsu."
"hey" Natsu shouted
"Yeah, buddy, you can be a little quick to anger at times," Happy said
"you're supposed to be on my side, Happy," Natsu said
"Hey, I'm just stating a fact," Happy said
"You're both so hot-headed," Carla said, "it's a wonder that people respect you two so much."
"Watch it, cat," Natsu said
"Oh, leave them be," Wendy said "they mean well," she sighed. She shot her best friend a look. Carla's smug look never left, signifying that she had won this round, so Wendy decided to change the subject. She sighed as she looked at the clear night sky "you know, I gotta admit all this traveling, you get so used to seeing the sky from different places."
"You still not getting any sleep," Natsu asked this Wendy shook her head he sighed; ever since Tenrou Island, Wendy had been telling him that she had trouble getting any rest. Their run-in with Acnologia had left a mark on the poor girl, nightmares that she thought would end after he had returned. However, they would still haunt her, more or less the word the dragon spoke 'dragon born' it reminded him too much of when he had trouble sleeping due to Lisanna and all that happened with Edolas "you'll get their kid," Natsu said.
"I hope so," Wendy said. "I might sleep, better if we get home" she smiled at Natsu.
"Yeah," Natsu said, patting her on her head, "but try to get sleep now," he said. "I need to tell Mavis what happened tonight."
"Whatever you say," Wendy said as Natsu walked off as she entered the room. She was meet Erza, Gray, and Lucy rushing up to her, Carla, and Happy.
"What happened"
"Are guys alright?"
"Those Sabertooth jerks looking for a fight"
"Umm," Wendy said in shock, her shy nature shining through
Natsu walked up to Mavis, who was sitting on the roof of the building. He bent down next to her, the air between them going silent as Natsu relaxed as he and Mavis both began to meditate "what's wrong, my son." Mavis asked
"Sabertooth," Natsu said, "they're so much like the phantom guild," he said, "not to mention their master has this air about him."
"Words, my son," Mavis told him, "You must not let them bait you," she explained, "if you let your anger cloud your judgment, it will no doubt cost you and your friends the games."
"I understand," Natsu said, "but."
"But nothing," Mavis said, cutting him off. "Anger can cloud the mind prevent you from seeing the bigger picture," Mavis told him. "You have to keep your mind clear to understand what your foes may be planning," she explained.
"Yes, master," Natsu said.
"Oh, don't grovel," Mavis said. "Sabertooth is interested in us just as any guild is," Mavi said "we're putting everything on the line by doing this," she told him. "Their master must understand this and want to provoke you into a confrontation to drag you down."
"I guess," Natsu said, "they seem to look down on people who show compassion, weakness," Natsu said, "that usual bit."
"I see," Mavis said, "and what do you believe"
"I don't" Natsu stopped. "I don't know," he answered
"Then I expect one before the final day of the games" she looked at Natsu "to continue on your path, you need to answer this for yourself," Mavis said, "compassion or a firm hand," Mavis told him, "Answer that, and the next phase of your training can begin"
"I think I understand," Natsu said, "thank you, master."
"So, this Minerva will be replacing Yukino," Wendy asked
"Yes," Erza said, "and from what you're telling us, she's the strongest member of the guild."
"Yes," Wendy said, "she took Natsu's attack and sent out the roof as if it was nothing" it was at that moment that Natsu walked in, and Gray ran up to him.
"I can't believe you," he screamed. "I wanted to punch those jerks in a few notches two."
"Calm down, man," Natsu said, "we didn't do any more fighting than we had to."
"You still could have brought me along," Gray screamed back
"Gray, calm down," Lucy said
"Yes," Erza said, "We should save our anger for Sabertooth for the games" Like Natsu and Gray, she too was seething at the guild on their walk back Millianna had told her about all the harassment that Sabertooth had thrown her way to her guild how the members would make lewd comments about them, they would deface their guildhall it made her angry. Still, she couldn't let that cause her to make rash decisions. They were here to win Magnolia back, nothing more.
"Not to mention what happened with Yukino," Lucy said, "they humiliated her," she explained, "and now she can't even go back to her guild."
"Does she have anywhere else to go?" Wendy asked
"Mira's letting her bunk with them for the night," Lucy told her
"The fact that they'd kick her out over something so petty," Natsu growled, "and they wonder why we don't like guilds."
"Come now, let's not let one sour apple put us off from guilds," Erza said, "don't forget we owe a lot to the Blue Pegasus and Lamia scale guilds."
"Yeah, I guess you're right," Natsu said "we need to be ready, because I don't think Sabertooth is going to stop with just Mermaid heel," Natsu said, "They want all of us, and they'll go through hell to get it."
"Right," Carla said, "and with all that's happened tonight, you can expect that every member is going to want to take us down." the air had started to grow serious as a devious grin grew on Wendy's face Natsu then felt a pillow thrown on his face.
"What the hell, kid" Natsu screamed.
"This is serious" Erza was interrupted when Lucy hit her on the back of her head.
"what's the matter" Lucy teased "is the big bad Erza scared of some fluffy pillows," Erza said nothing as she and Natsu gave each other a look, "I thought you only had the most formidable pillows," Lucy laughed only for Erza to hit her in the face with a pillow
"No, this is no longer a mere pillow fight," Erza said "This is a pillow war," she shouted as they jumped their friends above them. Hearing the sounds of laughter, Mavis let out a smile. She was glad that they could focus on something other than all the drama that games brought out
Yukino walked alone through the streets, her mind was still groggy she wanted to sleep in, but she needed to figure out her next move now that she was no longer in Sabertooth; it made things a bit difficult for her, but that was life for her.
"Did you hear?" someone said
"Yeah, some idiot attacked Sabertooth last night," another person said
"Fights like that always happen outside of the tournament," another person added
"Well, they need to bring it to the streets, more entertainment for the rest of us."
"I wonder," Yukino said as she looked at the coliseum "Natsu, Mira," she thought to herself "Goodluck, while I know you may not want it, but you have my full support" she pulled out a small note that she had found attached to the small breakfast she had this morning words that would stick with her for the rest of her life.
"If you ever need anything, don't be afraid to call."
"Welcome to the third day of the grand magic games, folks," Lola called as people started to fill in the arena "that puts us at the halfway point."
"I don't see how we will be able to top the dramatic fights and eye cady we had yesterday," Yajima asked.
"Well, I know, I'm going to be on my best behavior around today's special guest Marchall Lahar of the magic council."
"Is nice to know you're doing alright, young man," Yajima said
"Thank you for having me," Lahar said, "while I initially came to see what all the fuss around the grand magic games was about, it is nice to be able to take part."
"As chief marshal of the magical custody enforcement unit, you in charge of taking in the bad guys correct," Lola asked.
"Yes," Lahar answered, "so to any would-be cheaters out there, know that I have my eyes on you," he joked as the crowd gave out a laugh.
"You hear that folks, he's got eyes on the back of his head, and he never sleeps" Lola called
Dornbolt walked through the hall 'damn it, Lahar,' he thought to himself, 'why did you have to go and drag me into your mess' he said
Flashback
"What you're actually going to grand magic games, and they want you to be guest speaker," Dornbolt asked, "you know how the chairmen feel about the games" he was in complete disbelief at the sudden request. He knew that Lahar wanted to see the grand magic games, but he was surprised that "what did you tell them."
"Yes, of course," Lahar laughed "you should come to," he said, trying to get his friend to at least get out of the magic council chambers.
"I'll pass," Dornbolt said
"But I hear that fairy tail is going to make an appearance," Lahar said," don't you want to see them alive and well."
"Well yeah," Dornbolt said, "but I can guarantee that they don't want to see me."
"How many times do I have to tell you that's in the past," Lahar said "you had every intention of saving all of their lives" he smiled at him "right now, everyone is looking to the future," he smiled, "so it's time we did to"
End flashback
Dornbolt sighed as he came to a stop. He saw Romeo, Wendy, Happy, and Carla running through the area "come on; we're going to be late," Wendy shouted
"I told you we didn't have enough time to stop for food," Carla shouted
it just smelt so yummy" Happy shot back
"Quite flapping your gums and move your feet," Romeo shouted
"And now let's get the games right underway," Lola shouted, "today, we have a little game called Pandemonium."
"what's that," Romeo asked.
"Pandemonium typically means panic or chaos," Carla explained, "though in most cases, it can be a dean of monsters or demons."
"Maybe they'll have their contestants walk through a haunted house," Makarov started Asuka sitting on his head "then a scary ghost will pop out," he said
"I don't think I'll be able to watch this" Happy said
"That sounds horrifying," Mavis and Cosmos said
"Oh, come on, guys," Levy said, "aren't you a little old to be scared by a ghost."
"Unlike the past two days, we are going to have every member of our participating teams go into the game," Lola said, "so please will all of our participants make there was down to the games."

"I've wanted to go in," Wendy shouted. "finally some fun"
"alright but we need to be on our guard," Erza said, "Natsu and I talked last night; the fact that you and him were dragged to Sabertooth was so they could get you off." she sighed "we need to be ready for any stunts that Sabertooth could pull while we're down there"
"alright stay on guard got it" Lucy shouted "and watch out for Raven tail too," Lucy said "they're probably going to try to pull something"
"If you're sure," Gray said "yeah get to make up for the first day" he smiled
"Yeah," Natsu said, "here to hoping I don't get a repeat of yesterday," he muttered, which made Gray laugh.
"time for us to have some fun," Wendy smiled as she followed Erza into the arena "yeah I'm getting all fired up
" The team, fairy tail look like there ready to go leading their charge toady is there scarlet warrior Erza Scarlet," Lola said
"don't worry, guys," Mira said. "we got this"
"I'm all for going in," Jellal said, "but the guest speaker."
"Yeah," Laxus said, "you should keep your head down." he smiled "just stay on my right so they can't get a good look at you," he asked.
"After yesterday," Mira stopped trying to hold back her laugh, "it was fun, don't get me wrong, but I'm kinda glad I might get to do something that doesn't involve stripping," Mira said
"that's fair," Laxus said
"time for me to redeem myself," Gajeel shouted
"Juvia as well," Juvia said "seh promises she will give this her all"
" team dragon tail is not going to let fairy tail take all the credit today heading there charge is their white-haired beauty, Mirajane Strauss."
Millianna sighed as she leaned over the edge Erza words to her the previous night had rung in her head so much that all the anger she felt started to fade as she let out a sigh "alright" seh said slapping her face "I'm ready" she turned back Riana who was sitting with them that day she gave her a smile and a nod as she and her team ran down to the arena "sorry Erzy, but we have to beat ya" she said as they ran past her old friend.
"That so," Erza said. She felt her heart warm up a bit, seeing her mind immediately go back to their conversation from last night shaking her head, she turned around, seeing her friend's smiling face was enough to calm her down.
"The Nymph five is going to send out the big guns," Lola called "with Millianna covering for Kagura who is still recovering," he called. "so there bringing in there reserve member Elana"
"So that who was under that hood," Gray said
"it's nice to see her again," Lucy said
"I said I was going in," Ogra said. "but still I'm going to show them the power of my black lighting."
"don't get too ahead of yourself," Minerva said, "We still don't know what this game could entail."
"another chance to show Natsu whose boss" Sting smiled as Rogue nodded next to him
"oh yeah," Sherria shouted " we get to show them our love"

"calm down and buy another one," Yuka told him "let's just get moving"
"Looks like I'll get to have my fun after all," Jura said as he started to leave for the arena.
"We need to be careful," Alexie said "try not to draw too much attention to ourselves" he then turned to Obra "let's go," the team nodded, walking forward.
"I finally get to go in," Hibiki said, "for my fans," he said as a group of girls lets out a scream.
"show off" Eve muttered
"it's not every year that we get an all the team in the field for an event I just wanted to remind you all to be careful the battle rounds are still happening," Lola explained "which team will come out on top I wonder, each of them seems to work really well together" the crowd let out a cheer as a dark magic circle opened above them as what appeared to be an upside-down castle filled with chains went down over the group.
"What is this" Erza asked
"I don't know," Millianna said
"I'll see what I can pull up on archive," Hibiki said
"Before you stand a castle filled with five hundred monsters," Mato said, much to the crowd's shock
"And I take it you want us to do battle with these monsters," Jura asked
"Yep," Mato said, "these are magical projections we created for the games, so we don't need to worry about them attacking the crowd; they're categorized in special ranks similar to you wizards," he said," we have three hundred D class monsters, one hundred C-class monsters, ninety B-class monsters, nine A-class monsters, and Just one S-class monster" he explained as pictures appeared showing each monster
"Wow," Happy said, "I know he said their projections, but they look like they can do some damage," Happy said
"I hope everyone can walk away from this unscathed," Carla said
"I'm sure they can take care of themselves," Romeo said
"These games just get more and more extravagant," Mavis muttered
"a little too much if you ask me," Makarov muttered as Cosmos nodded in agreement
"Monsters of a higher class are two times stronger than the one below them," Mato explained. "I'm not too sure how a wizard saint would handle this," he laughed "you will each be allowed to choose how many monsters you want to face," he said, "the process will repeat until all five hundred have been defeated or if everyone runs out of magic power."
"So, there's some math involved, huh," Millianna said,
"To a degree." Mato said, "remember that these monsters are chosen at random, so no telling what you'll face."
"So, it falls to probability," Hibiki said
"and maybe some memorization" Rufus said
"He just said they all come at random," Ogra shouted
"For you're team maybe," Hibiki said
"And what happens if you don't beat all the monsters you selected," Mira asked.
"you'll keep all the points you accumulated, but you'll also be out of the game," Mato said, "and you lose points if you beat less than the numbers you challenged that round"
"Interesting," Mavis said, "so you need to factor in how strong your opponents are as very all as to how much magic power you will be using," Mavis said "interesting, this game is much more complicated than it lets on," she finished "I wonder how they will handle this."
"Now, to figure out the order," Mato said as he pulled out a small box, "please draw straws, just one member from each team," he said as everyone started to draw.
"It looks like we're going first," Erza said
"we are" Lucy screamed
"hell yeah," Wendy said

"Lucky," Mira said behind her, "and here we are stuck in last" she laughed
'At first, I thought our chances of winning would come to my luck of the draw,' Erza thought to herself 'in fact, this is no longer a game' the smile on her face never faltered as she stepped forward giving Natsu a nod
"you have that look on your face," Natsu said
"you scared," Erza asked
"no," Natsu said "not yet"
"so it's the crazy plan today," Gray asked "yeah sure I'm game," he said "need a good stretch"
"We could always not go with the crazy plan," Lucy said "just a suggestion"
"but Lucy where's the fun in that" Wendy said "we love the crazy plans"
"I hate that about us" Lucy muttered
"As the first team, how many do you challenge" Mato asked
"Inside," Erza started, "await five hundred monsters," Erza said, "so we choose to face all of them," she said much to everyone as all the solo wizards in the stands started laughing Mira just looked away giving out a sigh she caught Natsu giving her an apologetic look as she shot a death glare back
"That is our challenge."
Fairy tail has stated their challenge and has decided to face five hundred monsters, will their gamble pay off in getting them first place, or have our heroes finally bitten off more than they could chew, find out next time on a fairy tail re-told
