Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told, and here's a chapter that I've been excited for since I started writing this arc. We're in what is technically the second half of this arc, as remember I've split in half, but those are things for another time, right now. Let's focus on the here and now, whatever day it is, as fairy tail has dominated the contest but will their luck carries over to the battles? Find out now, on a fairy tail re-told

"we're not slowing down, folks," Mira shouted "get ready cause we're about to rock your world," she screamed
"here's the battle line up boss," Nullpudding said "you might find this one interesting,"
"Yes," Alexie said, "We should begin," he said as he and his team walked off. "Soon, we will reach our true goal," he said as his team started to walk away behind them a hooded figure watched them leave a frown appearing on their face as they vanished from sight
Mato frowned as he watched Mira celebrate her show of power. No, one but, Ogra saw the look she shot the man; again, the solo wizards in the game had sent a message, one that no guild wizard wouldn't forget. Jura smiled, hoping that the remaining days would grant him a chance at facing the children of magnolia.
"This changes everything," the pumpkin whispered, "we need to put a little more thought into this to further my plans."
Laxus vs Alexie: My true family
"we're halfway through day three," Lola called, "so let's take a look at the current scores," Lola called "still holding on in first place, we have the mighty team Raven tail," he said as the crowd gave a cheer "in second place, still holding on strong, we have Mermaid heel," he said as the crowd cheered again "in third place coming from behind we have we have the ferrous Cinco and Sabertooth tigers" he shouted as the crowd gave a loud cheer, "and in fourth place, we have team fairy tail" he called "and in fifth place, we have dragon tail, in seventh place, we have Blue Pegasus, and in last place, we have Quatro puppy."
"Our time is almost here," Alexi said "let's get ready to fulfill our plans," he said as his teammates nodded as they left.
"We need to hold on," Kagura said, "we will show them why we are the best."
"don't get cocky," Riana said, "our arrogance could be our undoing."
"Oh yeah, we're climbing right to the top," Millianna shouted
"We can't let our friends outdo us guys," Gajeel said, "we need to win that bet."
Jiemma said nothing. third place what a disgrace, 'they better turn this around or it will not be pleasant for them after this is done.'
"let's throw away the pleasantries and get right to the battles," Lola shouted.
"Looking forward to it," Yajima said
"I can't wait to see what match up you have," Lahar said
"First up, we have the feline furry, Millennia, versus the towering giant, Semmes."

"Time for me to get wild," Semmes shouted "{Wild spin}" he called as she started to sin around Millennia as she jumped out the way, losing her cape again landing on the ground.
"Take this," Millennia shouted, "{kitty restraint}" the attack bounced off as Semmes.
"we're going to win this," Rocker shouted, "why, cause we're."
'WILD"
"You are not going to beat; our kitty," Goldmine shouted, "my boys are an unstoppable force."
"We sure Millianna can win," Lucy asked.
"don't worry," Erza said, "a warrior like Millennia won't fail" Millennia attempted to wrap again only for the attack to fall off.
"Come on, Millennia," Rosley shouted
"She can do this, right," Beth asked
"of course, she can," Kagura said, "she has a foe she must beat; until then, she is not allowed to lose."
"My spinning will stop anything you throw at me," Semmes shouted
"Then take this," Millennia called "{Kitten blast}" she called as the attack blasted her away. "I'll be a bad kitty if I lost to you."
"Time for me to finish this," Semmes called as he started spinning again. "I'll tear you to shreds."
"Take this," she shouted as she reshot her kitty restraints wrapping around the bottom of Semmes "you flail around all you want, but I won't let go," she screamed as Semmes spun around, throwing Millennia in the sky as she fell to the ground creating a large smoke screen as Semmes laid on the ground as Millennia sat on top of him "Meow," she said
"I'm still wild," Semmes muttered.
"Millennia is using the arena as her personal play pin, and she has something big to bury," Lola said
"Truly an amazing match," Yajima said
"Such unique magic's have been used," Lahar said
"it's good to see her growing so strong," Erza said
"she's kinda scary," Lucy said, remembering how they first met "those things can make you bend in ways you didn't think possible," Lucy said, shaking her head "glad we're on her good side."
"Even I had trouble with her back in the day," Natsu muttered
"Now on to battle two," Lola said "we have the red mistral who sings to the moon," he shouted. "Rufus Lore will be facing the trimens holy knight Eve," he said as both walked into the battlefield. "Rufus gave Eve a spanking on the first day. Will he finally get his comeuppance?"
"You got me on the first day," Eve said as he heard the gong being rung, "so now it's time for some payback," he shouted "now {white fury}" he called as Rufus. Vanished from sight, "what."

"That was a mere memory," Rufus said, "and your memory," he smiled "is interesting," he said as Ichiya appeared in front of even in a bathtub "this lies in the deepest parts of your memory," he said as he struck eve down.
"Why is that in the deepest part of his memory" Ren shouted
"Sir, you have some explaining to do," Eve shouted
"I have no memory of this awful perfume," Ichiya shouted "its a trick men I swear"
"I so did not need to see that" Michelle muttered as she covered Katja's eyes
"Aye" Happy said "Blue pegasus si a weird guild that for sure" he said to which Carla and Lily nodded
"Now," Rufus called, "{night of shooting stars," he screamed as Eve melted to snow."
"So, it looks like Eve used a snowclone," Lola said
"If I'm correct, he used to be a rune knight, yes," Yajima asked
"Yes," Lahar told him, "Like me, he started out as custody enforcement rune knight, even then he had such skill, and his powers have seemed to only doubled since joined the blue Pegasus guild." Lahar said,
"Now{white Blizzard}" Eve shouted as a mini snowstorm formed around them
"You know that this is pointless right," Rufus said
"True," Eve said, "but this spell will help me find the real you," he said "right there{white fang}" he shouted as Rufus was forced to dodge
"I see, but I have already memorized it," Rufus said, "and now witness this power flames. I have also memorized "{memory make}."
"that's his magic," Gray asked. He remembered that Rufus pulled a similar stunt on the first day.
"Maker magic, I've never heard of that one," Lyon said
"Magic that can give form to memories," Ultear asked, "impossible."
"Long-forgotten magic," Mavis said "memory make"
"Master is there more to this than meets the eye," Makarov asked. The sky started to turn orange as Rufus readied his spell.
"{Karma of the burning lands}" he shouted as the ground erupted, growing in size as it got further away from him, blowing Eve away, severely burning him as he landed on the ground "it would appear that my memory of you will be short."
"And with that, the match is over." Lola called, "look like the holy knight is finished; he will be feeling that in the morning." he said, "and with that, we have another win for Sabertooth, gaining them ten points." he called as his teammates smiled as Rufus walked away from the arena
"So, he uses maker magic," Gray muttered, "looks like I'll have to take him down."
"I can't believe he went and lost," Ren muttered "damn, but oh well, we just have to try harder."
"Master," Hibiki said, "we fell pretty far," he said, "what are we going to do."
"Fear not men," Ichiya said as the man in the bunny suit behind him. "We have a secret weapon," he said as the bunny mimicked his movement, "one that will assure our victory," he said as the bunny nodded along with him "it's so important that I had to tell you twice," he said
"Thank you, sir," they said
"Now let's move on to the third match of the day," Mato shouted
"Bringing on the thunder, we have Laxus Dreyer," Lola said, "going against the mysterious man in the mask Alexie."
"Be safe out there, Laxus," Mira said
"don't worry, as strong as he is, we got this," Gajeel said
"still," Juvia said, "I'm worried, this is his father's former guild," she said, "not to mention what happened to Lucy on the first day" she shook her head "what if they pull a similar stunt" she looked at the two like her friend all were wondering who was under the mask of Alexi and what was Raven tails true goal for appearing at the games whatever it was she hoped that her friends would be able to take it.

"I hear these two teams have quite the history," Lola said, to which Yajima nodded.
"Lahar," Yajima whispered, catching the man's attention, "you didn't happen to bring any of you're men with you."
"of course, sir," Lahar answered, surprised at the question, "as per regulations I had, even more, show up when I learned Raven tail was participating," he said
"Good," Yajima said, "keep a close eye on this match. If you see anything strange, let me know," he said "dragon tail is probably already on it, and we'll need to back them up" hearing this, Lahar nodded he too had his suspension about Raven tail but wanted to believe that the group was turning over a new leaf every guild started out as a team, so maybe they were, but right now he would be watchful.
"we're golden," Mavis said
Alright," Kinana said, pulling out a communication lacrmia, "this HQ calling eagle eye. Are you in position"?
"what's with all this HQ nonsense," Bisca asked. She was on one of the many towers aiming directly into the match "but yeah, I got a good line of sight from here," he said, "anything funny happens, I'll be ready, eagle eye out."
"Alright," Kinana said, "thunder legion."
"This is Laki," Laki said. "the thunder legion and I are in position. Got a good look on Raven tail," she smiled "if they pull anything, you'll be the first to know."
"Alright, dare to disgrace Laxus's name; the thunder legion will pounce," Freed growled.
"Hey, Master," Bickslow called, "Evergreen trying to get back Elfman's side," he said playfully "can you give her permission."
"I have not," Evergreen screamed.
"Alright, and what of the medical room," Mavis asked
"I asked Cosmos to plant some seeds in there," Kinana said, "and Freed put an enchantment that will only allow fairy tail and dragon tail in there."
"Good," Mavis said, "we also need to keep an eye here" she looked at Katja and Asuka "you two will be fine, so relax and enjoy the match" the pair nodded as they went to watch
"What could Raven tail hope to gain," Makarov asked, "or are they being petty."
"We can never truly tell," Mavis said "all we can do is take the steps to prepare," she shook her head, "with Sabertooth on the right and Raven tail on our left, we have to take the necessary precisions to ensure our friend's safety."
"Yes, master," Makarov said
the gong was run as Laxus walked forward "mysterious man in a mask," Laxus said, "you mind telling me who you really are" he asked only to be punched in the face "what the hell" Laxus tried to fight back only for Alexie to be on top of him already taking him down much to everyone shock as Laxus landed on the ground
"what's going on" Gajeel shouted
"Who is this guy," Mira asked
"he's scary," Katja muttered
"there's something familiar about him," Wendy muttered.
"What do you mean Wendy," Natsu asked
"His magic," she told him. "I don't know why but it's making my hair stand up," she said "there's this familiar air about, but I don't know why," she explained, "but I don't remember seeing someone like him during the infinity clock crisis." she explained "if I'm right Ivan brought out all his big guns during that, and someone like him looks like they would be a lot of help"
"I got no movement on my end," Bisca said
"Nothing over here either," Laki said
"Laxus," Freed said,
"Come on, you got this," Evergreen said
in the arena, Laxus watched as what appeared to be another him landed on the ground. He looked at Alexie "so mind telling me what this is" he asked
"An Illusion," Alexia said, "a way for us to chat privately," he explained "right now, the audience is watching what they believe to be you in a struggling match," he said as he heard them continue to cheer "you friend must be horrified witnessing you fall in such a way," he said
"So, what's the point of this" Laxus asked, "why are you trying to beat me with an illusion."
"The point of this is actually to distract." Alexia explained, "victory is no matter for us right now." he said "and seeing as I control the illusion, I control the outcome of this match" as he said that the illusion of Laxus started to fight back, charging up his lighting striking at Alexie sending him to the ground as everyone started to cheer
"There you go, Laxus" Makarov shouted, "you got this."
"I was worried for a second there," Freed said
"let's keep our guard up," Mavis said, "the match isn't won yet," she said as Alexi and Laxus continued to fight.
"So that your idea of controlling the match," Laxus said "what makes you think I care," he said as he shed his cloak, but I can't wait to get my hands on the real you," he shouted as he got ready to fight.

"that's not going to happen." a voice called Flare, Nullpudding, Kurohebi, and Obra appeared behind Alexie.
"as strong as you are, not even you can take on the entire team of Raven tail," Alexis said as he moved his hands, getting ready to take off his helmet, revealing himself to be Ivan Dreyer the son of Makarov "and of course, you should know how powerful I am, don't you, my boy" he smiled as Laxus rolled his eyes.
"I had feeling it might be you," Laxus sighed "my dead beat, dad."
"Fairy tail is trying to win back Magnolia Raven tail will prevent this, and with you," he said "you will help us in ways that she won't," he asked "you will tell us where the lumen histoire is"
"what" Laxus answered, "sorry, no idea what you're talking about."
"Clearly, they had to tell you something," Ivan asked, "you were a child of magnolia."
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Laxus said, "and even if I did, I sure as hell wouldn't tell you."
"I am giving you a chance to emerge victories from what is otherwise a hopeless situation," Ivan reasoned, "and you would refuse"
"I don't care," Laxus said, "but you're an enemy to my friends," he said "to fairy tail," he said, "and if you're an enemy to them, that makes you mine as well," Laxus said
"You really think you can take us on," Ivan asked "my team exists for the one sole purpose," he said, "to be the destroyers of fairy tail and the children of magnolia," he said as he Laxus got ready to face off.
"You don't hold a prayer."
