Pushing the call button on his scroll, "Hello, this is Weiss Schnee."

"Hey, Weiss…Weiss Schnee, this is…"

"Sorry, I do not have my scroll right now."

"Great a voice recording."

"Please a message after the beep."

Beep.

"Weiss, this is Jaune…Arc of the Arc family. Last name Arc with a C not a K. Anyways, I was wondering what you were doing tonight because I'm doing nothing um which means I could be doing something with you. Yeah, that's right. Call me. Please. Pretty please," pressing the end call button, "That didn't sound desperate. No, it didn't. Maybe more please could be added. More please next time."

Banging of metal echoed around the depression in the crystal that served as a makeshift arena. It's original purpose forgotten. Both fighters appeared from opposite ends of the arena. Both shirtless.

Studying the scars covering his opponent's body, "Wonder who gave those to him?" thought Adam.

Silence. Some dust covered prisoner served as the referee proving even a fight to the death needed to be proper and legal.

Banging of metal singled the fight to begin. Bending his fingers, Adam kept his good eye on his opponent. His opponent moved like he as a monkey reminding Adam of the advice of keeping a monkey within eye sight for a monkey likes to jump its prey's back when it's not looking. Being blinded in his left eye caused him to turn his head.

From an outcropping, guard used the scope on his rifle to watch the fight.

"At least," ignoring the flacks of dust landing in his hair, "I saved some lien."

A tremor traveling downwards sent the alarms went off. The tremor grew causing the fighters to stop. Crystallized debris fell from the ceiling. Crystal chucks fell onto prisoners and guards.

Green fire burst from the ceiling of the observation deck. Striking the floor, it disputed outwards taking out the observation deck. From the dust debris that once was the observation room, an object with green flamed tail that made one think of a peacock hovered in the air like some green flamed phoenix. The nine green in circular pattern begun twirling counter clockwise. The green circular outline expended then emerged releasing a green laser beam taking out the remaining guards who tried shooting this figure.

Standing, Adam stared in a moment of awe like when he met his mother, Tamora.

"Mr. Taurus, if you want to escape," said the Count shaking Adam from his daze, "then follow me," chasing after the green ball of flames.

Following the Count, Adam took a discarded Dig Dug. They followed the green flame trail into the sealed off tunnels

Noticing Weiss looking under a bench, "Lose something." said Pyhrra.

"Yes, my scroll," said Weiss with huff only she could produce, "It was a birthday present. One of kind."

"It had a cute picture of saber tooth tiger," remarked Blake.

"Of course, you would noticed that."

"Bad day because you lost your one of kind scroll or no improvement on your mother."

"None of your business."

"What's this about your mother?" asked Pyhrra.

"Why are you two here?"

"Isn't that one of life's mysterious?" replied Blake, "Currently maiden worship and Jaune Arc."

"Talk about misplaced affections," mumbled Weiss, "Why anyone would tolerate an airhead like Jaune."

"Well someone who finds having status and abilities," said Pyhrra, "burdensome."

"I'm a Schnee. Having status and abilities is part of the deal. That's why people notice me."

"Do you trust their motivation?"

"Motivation?"

"Do they like you because of your name or you as a person?"

"What does being like have to do with anything?"

"Then why are you here at Beacon not at Altas?'

"How about you, Miss Nikos?"

"To get away from my status and abilities and so far I only found three who don't care. Ruby, Ying, and Jaune."

"Three who come up short on the IQ scale," noticing the glaring Blake, "and you need to stop protecting Ying."

"If not me then who," said Blake, "Miss Schnee, who can you count on to be there to help?"

"Can one count on you?'"

"Mine chances are better then yours."

Prissy her lips, "Pyhrra, what would you consider the downside of status?"

"Once someone ask for a sample of my panties once."

"And?"

"Without them being washed."

Looking at her scroll, "Why is Jaune leaving me voice messages?" thought Blake pushing the ignore button.
