Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told; the battle between fairy tail and team Ferrous Cinco continues as both of their young prodigies duke it out. The sky dragon and sky god have clashed. Will Wendy find a way to beat, Sherria, or has the sky dragon met her match? Find out now on a fairy tail re-told.

Last time on a fairy tail re-told

Happy: the grand magic games are very stressful

Carla: don't worry, I know Wendy can do this

Lily: don't worry, she's grown strong

Happy: Aye sir, nothing will stop our maiden of the sky

Lily: you got that right

Carla: yes, we should all believe in Wendy

"I wonder what has Sherria holding back like this," Yuka asked, "from what she described, her magic is the superior version of Wendy's."

"That is true," Jura said, "but you need to remember the group we're dealing with here," he said to which his friends nodded out of all the teams they knew firsthand just how stubborn fairy tail could be. and that they have a history of turning around a bad situation "if anything, she's sizing up her opponent," Jura said

"Yes," Lyon said, "don't worry, Sherria has this in the bag." He smiled as Sherria attacked Wendy again above them hooded figure frowned. This girl was a god slayer, unfortunate, but she had to have faith and ignore the instinct to step in. It was time to see how much the youngest had grown.

"This is bad," Lucy said

"There has to be something she can do," Gray said, "she looks like she barely has the strength to stand."

"We have to have faith," Erza said, "faith that she will see this through"

"Come on, kid," Natsu muttered. He knew what was going through her head all too well, the unrelenting feeling of facing something you can't hurt, but he had to believe that she could do it. "I know you go this, Wendy. Come on."

"damn it," Wendy thought to herself 'I need to think," she said as she dodged around "she too fast," Wendy said to herself, "not to mention my magic is having little to no effect on her' she screamed as she landed on the ground taking a deep breath 'the air is so clean' Wendy thought to herself as Sherria rushed her again 'and her attacks are slowing down' then struck Wendy as she landed on the ground she knew what she had to do. before holding up three fingers, making Sherria stop where she stood "there are three," she said suddenly

"What," Sherria asked.

"There are three weaknesses to your magic," Wendy shouted, much to everyone's shock.

Pride of the sky

"So, you're saying that Sherria could be connected to Zeref," Mira asked

"Yes," Jellal said, "should we try and stop the match," he asked,

"No," Gajeel said. "Wendy can handle this," he looked back at his teammates. "she'll see this through, then we can get a closer look" in the stands behind them; little did they know that Dornbolt had looked at their team. He had managed to catch a glimpse of Mystogen

'That impossible' Dornbolt thought to himself 'I was able to infiltrate their ranks seven years ago," he thought to himself, "and there is no way that Mystogen is back in earth land."

"What does she mean three weaknesses," Lyon asked

"It's a bluff," Sherry said, "right."

"There is no way we can know," Jura said

"What do you mean three weaknesses," Sherria asked, backing up "you're just messing with my head," she said, backing up.

"One," Wendy said, showing a single finger, "your healing magic is self-restoration," Wendy said "sure, it's good for battle as you can heal any injuries that you receive," Wendy admitted "however you can't restore stamina," she revealed as Sherria back up "meaning the longer we duke it out, the more tired you get"

"So, what," Sherria said, "you're getting worn out faster than I am."

"ah, then there's your second weakness," Wendy said "this one is more between our match up," she admitted "you're magic cleans the air whether you do this initially is unknown, but it allows me to eat the air around me constantly," she revealed "and when I eat my element, my magic and stamina increase," she said smirking which got a laugh out of her team.

"She gets that from you ya know," Erza said to Natsu, making him blush

"So, what," Sherria said, "I'm not losing," she said. "I will come at you with everything I got," she shouted "for my team, for my guild," she screamed, "you can have all the weaknesses on me you want, but you're not taking me down" as her magic shot from her as they got ready to face off again.

"oh looks like I struck a nerve" Wendy teased again "for a sky wizard you sure are hot-headed"

"what do you think you're being cute or something" Sherria shouted

"listen here hon," Wendy said pausing for dramatic effect "I'm adorable"

"that's it you're going down" Sherria shouted her magic power rising, causing the wind in the area to pick up.

"Then come at me then," Wendy said, "cause I'm all fired up," she shouted as her magic shot from her. "Cause I'm not backing down either," she cried "for my friends,for my family," she said "I can't lose" she screamed as the two attacked each other again their magic clashing Wendy backed up 'I need to think outside the box' Wendy thought to herself as she ducked landing an attack on her stomach sending the girl back.

"you're going down" Sherria shouted as they clashed again

"What an intense battle" Lola called "you can tell these two are giving their all," he screamed

"{sky dragons talon}" Wendy screamed as she kicked Sherria away "{sky dragons: crushing fang}."

"{sky gods: blizzard}" Sherria shouted as she unleashed a flurry combination of kicks and punches at Wendy. The latter managed to jump out of the way as they separated again before clashing again their magic bouncing off of each other.

"Why do I feel so" Sherria stopped. She felt fine, but she also didn't "what are you doing."

"I didn't tell you, about the third weakness I cooked up," Wendy said. "I laced my attacks with my healing magic," she said between breaths "every attack I do heals your stamina and damages you," she said, "your magic is going to be harder to control due to the added power," Wendy said

"What," Sherria asked, "you can do that."

"Yeah," Wendy said, standing up, "took a while to get the hang of it," Wendy said, "but now it's as simple as breathing," Wendy said "I haven't got this far on power alone," seh said "a good wizard uses there wits to defeat any foe they come across"

"Wait, so she's healing her," Lyon asked.

"Yes," Jura said, "but the added power will make Sherria sloppy and easier to predict," he said, "truly an impressive wizard," Jura said

"don't complement the enemy," Ooba shouted.

"Talk about thinking outside of the box," Carla said, "but will it be enough to win this match."

"I don't know," Happy said, "come on, Wendy, you can do this."

"I'm not backing down," Wendy said, "cause my pride is on the line," Wendy shouted as she and Sherria shouted.

"Then I won't back down either," Sherria shouted as they continued to fight everyone was on the edge of their seats as they landed blow after blow on each other, neither backing down from their fight before long, a bell went as both came to a stop out of breath as the crowd gave a loud cheer.

"You know what that means, "Lola called "looks like we have another draw on her hands," Lola shouted, "what a way to end the day."

"She has grown, hasn't she," Erza said

"Yeah," Lucy said, "she's not our adorable little girl anymore," Lucy said

"She gave it her all," Lyon said. "I'm proud of her."

"When it comes to magic Sherria's is superior but still," Jura said as he remembered when they all met the young sky maiden for the first time Seven years ago.

Flashback

"I know I'm not what you were expecting," Wendy said, catching the arguing duo's attention. "I'm not much of a fighter or am experienced as the rest of you, but I know all kinds of support magic," Wendy said nervously, looking at the ground "please let me join the group, I'd be so embarrassed if I had to go back" Wendy exclaimed

"Gosh, Wendy," Carla said, "they'll never respect you if you act this way," Caral told her, "You need to show more confidence."

"I know, Carla," Wendy said, "sorry."

"you're going to drive me to catnip," Carla said

"Sorry"

End Flashback

"She truly has grown into a strong and confident young woman," Jura said to which Lyon and Sherry agreed Wendy had genuinely grown from that little girl seven years ago it was a nice thing to see

"What a truly invigorating battle," Mavis said

"Yes," Makarov said, "she has grown into something, hasn't she."?

"You go, Wendy," Happy said, tears in his eyes.

"Shut up," Carla said, tears also in her eyes "you're being overdramatic, ya know," she said, sniffing. "Wendy's always been amazing" this was enough to get a chuckle out of Lily. in the stands, Porlyusica smiled.

"she's not our little wizard anymore huh," Lucy said as she looked at Natsu and Erza who both had tears in their eyes "seems like only yesterday she was scared of her own shadow"

"yeah," everyone said "time sure does fly"

"You did well," Wendy said, reaching a handout.

"Yeah," Sherria said, "you too" she smiled as she grabbed her hand

"If you don't mind, let's do it again some time," she said, smiling

"Yeah, but just so you know," Sherria said, "I'm going to win" she laughed

"and with that day three has come to an end," Lola shouted, "so let's get a look at the final scores "with Raven tail being eliminated, the nymph five moves to first place with thirty-eight points," he said as the crowd cheered as the group gave a wave "and in second place we have a tie between dragon tail and Sabertooth tigers with thirty-six points," he said as the wizards looked away as Master Jimma sighed once again, those Mermaids were in his way "and in third place, we have the Ferrous Cinco with thirty-three points," he said "and in fourth place, we have team fairy tail with thirty-two points, and in fifth place, we have the trimens with nineteen points, and in last place, we have Quatro puppy with seventeen points" he explained as the crowd started to filter out "thank you all for stopping by and we will see you tomorrow."

Dornbolt was a man on a mission and he wanted to get a closer look 'there's no way that Mystogen is back, so what could dragon tail be up to'

"Those fairy and dragon tail guys are doing better than I thought," Mato said. "I'm going to have to give this a little more thought" he let out a sinister laugh as he started to walk away.

"who could this person be," he said he saw a hooded figure walking in the distance "go on ahead," he told the others, "I need to check something" 'could it be" he started to run after them trying to catch up only to be met with Dornbolt who appeared in front of him "no not know," he said under his breath.

"Going somewhere," Dornbolt asked.

"I could knock him out with one punch," Jellal muttered 'no, I am a member of dragon tail; I need to be on my best behavior. Shaking his head, he looked at Dornbolt, he knew who this was the man that had managed the impossible and infiltrated fairy tail truly a feat worth praise "sorry, but Mavis needed me to investigate something."

"Is that so," Dornbolt said behind them. Lahar had arrived with a few members of their guard, and the crowd had started to look at them. "I'll ask you one more time. Who are you" he said?

"Sorry," Jella said in Mystogens voice, but I don't have time for this," he said, trying to push past Dornbolt only for him to stop him.

"I know damn well you're not Mystogen," Dornbolt shouted "so who are you? Let me see your face," he shouted as he forcefully removed the hood. though he backed up in shock when he saw what he thought was Jellals face instead of the blue hair that Jellal had, it was black and considerably longer, nearly reaching his shoulders, and that odd tattoo that he had was reversed on the other eye Dornbolt stood there in shock

"Is everything okay, boss" a voice called it turned out to be Laki. She stopped when she saw that his hood was off.

"What is this" Dornbolt asked her as she stopped

"There you are, my friend," a voice called. They turned to see Yajima walking "oh, I see you got your mask removed," he laughed. "I told you that would happen one day," he smiled as he looked at Lahar. "I'm sorry, Lahar, but I take it you've heard of the world of Edolas," he said

"Yes," Lahar said he remembered the day Magnolia was reported to have vanished; he and nearly every other member of the magic council were completely baffled then as mysteriously as it disappeared, it reappeared no one seemed to know why even the townsfolk were confused to as what happened according to reports it involved another dimension known as Edolas, however, it was the basis for the infiltration of Magnolia along with learning about Mystogen.

"As you can see, my former student here bears an uncanny resemblance to our old friend Jellal" Yajima laughed, "even after a few changes, he still preferred to walk around with his hood covering his face."

"I see," Lahar said

Dornbolt looked to the ground.' somethings not right here,' he thought to himself, then Laki spoke up.

"Your kinda cute boss," she said "no wonder you keep that hood on" behind them, the members of the nymph five walked by as Kagura caught a glimpse of Jellal.

"Wait," she asked, "is that" she then felt herself start to throw up "it can't be why would Jellal be with dragon tail' she thought to herself.

"Kagura," Risley shouted, "are you okay."

"We need help," Beth shouted.

"Wait," Millianna said, "he looks like," she said, "Jellal" she made a move to attack only to be stopped by Kagura, who managed to stand on her feet.

"it's fine," she said "there harboring him," she muttered, "why would dragon tail be harboring Jellal."

"Does Erzy know about this" Millianna wondered? 'I should tell her?'

"I," Lahar shook his head, "sorry for the misunderstanding."

"it's fine," Jellal said. "I'm used to it," he said as he placed back on his mask. "So that you know, I consider your Jellal an enemy as well. If I discover anything, I will let you know," he said

"Let me take care of this boss man," Laki said winking. "I need to talk with these guys anyway," Laki said

'I'm in your depth, both of you,' Jella said with telepathy magic "understood, thank you"

'you should be glad grandpa Yaji was feeling generous" Laki said to him

'anything for one of my former students, but know that I won't do it again,' Yajima said, 'luckily for you, Maki let me in on your little ruse.' as he started to leave with him "now if I recall you promised to tell all about your current activities in Edolas" he said taking on his best-retired shop owner voice "let's go Mystogen"

"don't worry, I promise I won't cause too much trouble," Jellal said as they walked away

'You better not,' Laki added 'we get into enough trouble with the council as is,' Laki told him as she watched them leave, seeming to talk about what Mystogen had been up to "sorry about that Granpa Yaji was the guy who trained him" Laki admitted "so you know how that goes," she said as she handed something to Lahar

"what's this," he said

"Information about Raven tail," she told him "Everything you council guys will need to put those creeps away for a long time," she explained.

"How did you get this information," Lahar asked

"please Ivan's has been a thorn in Makarovs side for years, not to mention that infinity clock shit," she said "that creep got what was coming to him, and it couldn't have been delivered sooner" she looked around "I should get going got stuff to do"

"wait," Lahar said but she was already gone disappeared into the crowd 'what an odd bunch.' he shook his head much like Dornbolt. According to him, he found it odd that Mystogen was back when the man had lived in another world. Still, dragon tail and fairy tail both were a huge mystery to them, so there was no telling what they knew how to do, not to mention how they survived Acnologia was never revealed.

"With that information, it makes our job a little easier," Dornbolt joked, "though we should keep a close eye on Dragon tail.

"You should be more careful," Mira shouted "if you get busted, we get eliminated," Mira shouted at him.

"Sorry," Jellal muttered.

"It's fine," Mira said "just be more careful, okay" she then let out a giggle "we don't want Meredy to have drag you out of prison again."

"Please don't remind me," he muttered as they started to move and leave the arena.

"You were great today, kid," Natsu said, ruffling her head. "Sherria fixed you up."

"Yeah," Wendy said, "it's nice to be on the other side." Wendy laughed, "but the kid has a lot to learn when it comes to healing magic."

"We all have to start somewhere," Erza said

"Yeah, we can't all be prodigies at healing magic, Wendy," Lucy said, making the girl blush.

"I know," Wendy said before she and Natsu stopped a scent coming into the air.

"Something wrong," Gray asked before the pair rushed of "hey," he screamed.

"Hey, Natsu where are you going" Happy screamed.

"Wendy, what's wrong" Carla shouted as they exceed duo chased after their dragon slayer pals.

Natsu and Wendy ran into an empty area stopping "you smell that" Natsu asked as they stood back-to-back. Gajeel soon came running in as he saw the two. "Gajeel," Natsu asked.

"Yeah," he said, "smell it too."

"It's so good to see you all," the hooded person said, standing above them, Obra on her shoulder. As she smiled, they could barely see her face, but her scent was so familiar as she landed on the ground "now let's see how strong you are."

"What," Natsu asked, "who are you."

"Best me and find out," the person said, "my little fledgling" this was enough to get Natsu to charge in as the person dodged to the side, striking him in the back of the neck sending him into the wall "to slow Natsu, you're anger blinded you."

"Hey," Gajeel screamed as he activated his iron dragon sword, trying to attack the stranger only for his sword to disappear as she sidestepped him, kicking him into the same wall Natsu was against

"So will you follow their footsteps." the person asked as Wendy charged in. The hooded person stuck her in the stomach before kicking her into the wall. She then moved to attack them again, only for a sword to block the attack causing the person to back up, jumping back a bit. As Natsu managed to get up, he looked up to see that Riana was standing in front of them "oh, hello."

"I thought I sensed your presence here," Riana said as she held her sword Erza, Gray, Happy, Carla, and Lucy ran in, followed by Mira and Lily "what are you doing."

"Just testing some blossoming flowers," the person said, "They have grown quite strong, though they do have improvements to make."

"Who are you" Erza screamed

"it would appear our conversation has to be cut short my fledglings," she said as they backed up into the light "until we meet again," she said, "fairy tail" she then vanished as Riana sheathed her sword

"Are you all alright," Riana asked

"Yeah," Natsu said, "cept for my pride."

"Who was that" Carla asked

"one of the ten wizard saints," Riana said, "our most mysterious member, no one has ever seen her face," she said, "not even the council."

"Why would she attack Natsu Gajeel and Wendy" Happy asked

"I do not have an answer for you," Riana told them

"Her scents gone," Natsu said

"Come on," Mira said "let's go," she said, "I think we've had enough fun for one day."

"Yeah," Natsu said as Wendy stood next to him, his hand going to his scarf 'that person there was this air about her' Natsu thought to himself, 'who was she.'

Later that night, Laxus leaned against the wall. He let out a sigh as his fight with his father played in his mind.

"He believed in you," Laxus said, "despite everything you've done, cause his son."

"You think I give a damn" Ivan shouted, "he thinks I was being passive out of the goodness of my heart," he screamed. "Your pathetic leftovers barely knew anything about the lumen histoire," he shouted, "even fairy tails sole survivor didn't know about it" he shouted "I looked everywhere and yet I haven't found it" he shouted "now boy tell me where it is" he called again "you're my son aren't you; we're supposed to be family.'

"Is everything okay Laxus" Makarov asked

"You mind telling me what the lumen histoire is," Laxus asked.

"Ivan mentioned it," Makarov asked.

"Over and over," Laxus confirmed, "the guy was obsessed."

"That kid," Makarov grumbled, "good for nothing."

"He told me it was your darkest secret," Laxus said

"No, not at all," a voice called. They turned to see Mavis along with Mira and Natsu following her "it's our source of light," Mavis smiled, "though that's all I can tell you."

"I see," Laxus said, "if nothing too dangerous, then I do not need to pry."

"Awe, that's sweet of you," Mavis said, "but how could Ivan have gained such secret information," Mavis asked, "did he tell you."

"I bet I know who," Natsu said, "Hades."

"Even in death," Mavis muttered, "he continues to be a thorn in our side," she said "why did he have to betray us," she said as tears started to fill her eyes, much to Natsu, Mira, Makarov's, and Laxus' horror.

"Oh shit," they all thought

"Master, please don't cry," Mira said

"I'm not crying," Mavis screamed. "I'm not crying."

"Laxus" Natsu shouted

"don't just stand there," Mira shouted

"Comfort her hurry," Makarov shouted

"Why do I have to do it."

Will fairy tail be able to turn this around and get the victory, or will Natsu and Wendy be forced to suffer through that again, whatever that is? and who is the hooded figure, and what is their goal with the grand magic games?
