Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to a fairy tail re-told; the third day of the grand magic games came to an end, and a lot has happened behind the scenes as our heroes grow ever closer to discovering what dark secret lies behind the games, and at the front, the tensions between them Sabertooth and even Mermaid heel continue to develop what will be the outcome of the games as the fourth day approaches, will our heroes be dragged into another war, find out now on a fairy tail re-told

Wendy: we had a great day at the games today
Natsu: yeah, you and Erza killed it
Gray: killed it. They straight dominated today. Now we're back in the running.
Lucy: Let's not slow down
Natsu: oh yeah, we're all fired up
"So you're saying she was here," Makarov asked to which Riana nodded, "to think a member of the ten wizard saints would go out of their way to attack them like that," he said as he mussed over his drink, a while after the day had ended Riana had approached him and Mavis after they had returned from there talking with Laxus. Wanting to know about the events that occurred after the third day had ended to say he was troubled was an understatement "did she tell you anything."
"I think she was more focused on your friends," Riana admitted "the moment I arrived, she fled"
"Did she tell them anything," Mavis asked.
"No," Riana informed her, "I just wanted you too to know" she then looked away, "and I was hoping to ask them that"
"I'll be sure to ask them when I get a chance," Mavis said, "thank you for informing us about this."
"You're welcome," Riana said
Naval battle
"So, what did you want to meet me about," Meredy asked as she watched Happy and Rosello play around. What the duo was doing was beyond her, but it was nice for her to see her feline friend so happy.
"What I can't just see, my friend," Natsu asked jokingly
"I mean yeah, but we're on the clock," she joked back "but sure, we can chat," she said as she sat on a railing "you know, I think before this is over, Ultear is going to rip Jellal's head off" she laughed "that or she is going to start growing gray hair" she laughed "you know he almost got caught today."
"I heard," Natsu said. "Erza was worried sick," Natsu said, "so Ultear is not the only one that's going to be biting his head off," Natsu joked, which got a laugh to form the girl, "but on a more serious note, I need you to pass this on to Jellal for me," he said as he handed her a slip of paper.
"couldn't you have given it to him directly," she asked as she took the paper.
"With all the heat on him right now," Natsu said, "don't want to risk it."
"Who gave you this" Meredy asked
"That hooded person," Natsu said, "the one that attacked us today," he explained "she slipped into my pocket when she attacked me," he said, "whatever she was, she knows who we are."
"you said that she was a member of the ten wizard saints right," Meredy asked, Natsu nodded as she stroked her chin "but why now," she said, "we've been looking into the game every year since we became a team." she sighed, "Jellal said he saw a hooded person as well, could they be related," she asked
"Your guess is as good as mine," Natsu said. "I should head back," he turned to see her smiling at her, "and it is nice to see you, Meredy."
"Yeah," she said, "you too" she gave him a smile before calling Rossello back to her. The exceeds bid each other farewell as they left with their respective dragon slayers.
"So, what was that about" a voice called Natsu turned to see that Gray was here.
"Nothing, just passing on a message," Natsu said, "you."
"Getting some air," he said. "Laki has me running all over the place" this was enough to get a laugh out of Natsu. "I get that it's our job to send information around, but still, why do we have to be so secretive about it" Gray was talking about the Magnolia sprengeri, a group of wizards in magnolia that went on covert jobs their ranks are unknown to the public eye.
"don't mind her," Natsu said "she screwed to pooch on the mermaid heel op" Natsu to him, "so I guess she's trying to make it right," Natsu said he wasn't wrong; the sprengeri prided themselves on being covert being caught could blow the entire thing. However, Laki seemed to get away unscathed, but it still was a blow to her spotless record as she put it, but Mavis was just glad she got away and didn't get into too much trouble "in her eyes, putting away Raven tail will make up for it."
Gray nodded to this he remembered when he was offered a place among the sprengeri; he remembered how it was hammered into him by Laki no less how important their identity was, which was why they went by sprengeri with a number the only other member he knew of was Laki and her designation sprengeri two and then there was his sprengeri four "hey," he asked, "you think that all that info you guys had us dump will be enough to get Raven tail put away."
"let's hope," Natsu said, "but Ivan is definitely going away, due to all that infinity clock nonsense" he looked at his friend and rival "is there something on your mind, ice princess" he teased, trying to get a reaction out of the man.
"Shut it, ya pyro," Gray shouted, "it's just," Gray said nothing. "Lyon and Juvia are just on my case a lot, and I guess it is stressing me out."
"we'll it shouldn't. Your mind should be one hundred percent on the games," he told him before a devious smirk grew on his face. "Besides, I already know what they were talking to you about."
"Not you too," Gray muttered. "Erza was already on my case about that."
"then I'm pretty sure she gave you some good advice," he said "but here's some more," Natsu said "don't let what happened back then prevent you from listening to what your heart is telling you," Gray said nothing as Natsu continued "I know you don't want to hear this," he said, "but you know Meredy isn't known for leaving survivors right."
"yeah" was all Gray said
"Then you know that the only reason Juvia's alive right now," Natsu said, "is that she wanted you to watch."
"I know," Gray said
"Then stop thinking about what if," Natsu said, wrapping an arm around his shoulder, "and coming from another of the world's current authority on the subject." Natsu said as he looked to the sky ", this is one thing you don't want to wonder what if about" he said for a moment, a brief moment Gray could see it the person under all the flair it was enough to make him smile

once the pair had arrived at the pub, they noticed that their friends had already started celebrating, cheering at the victories they had earned from the games that day "man, you guys made beating those monsters look easy," Lily said
"I think you did well, Wendy," Carla said, "you've grown so much in the past seven years," she said, making the girl blush
"Figures, you heal fast," Michelle said as she looked over the group. "I'd have almost no idea you guys took on five hundred monsters" she shook her head
"Yeah," Levy said, "what's your secret."
"Actually, it's all thanks to Porlyusica," Erza said, "and a little help from Wendy as well."
"you're better off than Elfman right now," Mira muttered "no matter how hard Wendy tries, her magic doesn't seem to be helping," she let out a sigh "he's a sad case."
In the medical room, Elfman let out a sneeze "ouch," he muttered, "guess someone talking about how manly I am," he said, smiling until he felt a weight on his chest. Looking down, he saw that evergreen had fallen asleep on him "do I look like a pillow to you" he screamed as she shifted in her sleep.
"No, I'm not worried," she muttered in her sleep, "not at all."
Elfman stopped, his cheeks burning red "has she been with me this entire time" he muttered.

"Let's go," Natsu shouted as he started to barrel surf "barrel surfing for the win," he screamed.
"Aye, sir," Happy screamed
"Be careful, baby bro," Mira shouted
"What are you doing" Jet shouted
"This is crazy" Droy shouted
Natu then crashed into a sleeping Gajeel who grabbed him "you looking to get a knuckle sandwich" he screamed. Natsu just smiled. behind them, Wendy had picked up the barrels, a devious grin growing on her face
"Time for adventure," Wendy screamed as Lily jumped on with her
"Oh yeah," he shouted as the pair started to barrel surf as well
"Stop this foolishness," Carla screamed, but Lily and Wendy ignored her as they surfed around. Before long, the pair crashed into the still arguing Natsu and Gajeel as the iron dragon slayer shot up, glaring at them as Wendy smiled, giving a nervous laugh
"You wanna spin," Wendy asked, trying to hide her laughter
"I'll go," Gray shouted as he hoped on passing by Juvia
"Looking cool, honey sickle kisses," she screamed as he passed by before crashing into the wall, losing his clothes.
"You fool," Erza shouted, "this is how you barrel surf," she said as she hopped on the barrel surfers.
"Stop this madness," Miko screamed "you're going to break your neck," she tried to reason. as Erza surfed off
"You going to take a spin," Levy asked Lucy
"I would, but I'm wearing a skirt," Lucy said
"that didn't stop Erza," Levy said as she gestured to the scarlet haired woman who had fallen and was like Lucy wearing a skirt and showing it for all to see "she seems to be going all-natural," Levy joked she smiled as she looked around smiling as people started to line up to barrel surf it was like they were back in the fairy pub just doing what they did best living life the way they chose being together laughing and crying it was almost enough to bring tears to her eyes she laughed as Natsu and Wendy put Kinana on the barrels "hey once she's done I'm taking a turn" Levy shouted.
"Alright," Natsu and Wendy shouted
in the Sabertooth inn, Sting sat at the top of a tower master Jiemma was pleased with their performance today, so there was no need for a late-night meeting. Hey Sting," Sting turned around to see Lector was walking up to him, "you not tired."
"Naw," Sting told him, "Get the feeling I'm going to be able to fight Natsu soon," he said "I've been waiting for this chance for seven years" he smiled "too excited to sleep," he said behind him his partner Rogue was having similar thoughts both dragon slayer was chomping at the bits.

Kagura stood in the shower, letting the water run down her face '. Why would Jellal be working with Dragon tail" she mussed "what is their purpose of hiding a criminal?" she asked herself outside; Millianna had similar thoughts.
"Why would they be harboring Jellal." she asked "does Erzy even know about this" their conversation from the previous night played in her head. It was a confusing feeling to be in. She wanted to know what was going on.
"Hey, you okay," Risley asked, walking up to her "you and Kagura have been acting weird ever since we left today."
"Yeah, I'm fine," Millianna told her. "Nothing to do with the games, just a lot on my mind."
"Well, if you ever need an ear," Risley told her, "That's what friends are for," MIllianna said nothing as she hugged her.
"Thank you," she said
'With the end of day three, our hearts, we're intertwined, and only four would remain, four days until it happened.
"Four days until Calamity."
"it's a sunny day for magic and some fun in the sun," Lola called. "so let's kick off today's contest with a bang; today's contest is called Naval battle," he shouted, "your battlefield today is a large ball of water, if you pushed out you lose the match, last one standing wins, however, when there are only two contestants left a particular rule will come into play, we call it the five-minute rule out of the three the first one knocked will instead be given last place earning their team zero points."
"So, the game becomes an underwater sumo match," Yajima said
"This will be a spectacle, "Raiban said, "thank you for having me."
"So, let's get down to our contestants," Lola said, "from team Ferrous Cinco it Sherria."
"I won't settle for a draw today," Sherria said. "I'm winning this thing."
"From team Trimens, it's Jenny," Lola said
"You will try," Jenny said, "but I will succeed."
"From the nymph five, we have Risley," Lola said
"Underestimate me, and you'll lose it all," she bragged
"From dragon tail, we have Juvia," Lola said
"water and I go hand and hand; I refuse to lose while Gray is watching," she shouted above them. Minerva entered the water smiling.
"Minerva, the leader of the Sabertooth tigers at your service," she said as the crowd gave a loud cheer.
"Look like we have a crowd favorite," Lola said, "and from team fairy tail, we have their celestial bombshell Lucy heartfully," he shouted, "and from Quatro puppy, we have a Rocker."
"Wild" Rocker screamed
"I won't let my friends down," Lucy said
"Look like we have a group of determined wizards," Lola said "we got a deep-sea rumble," Lola called.
"Thank you very much for letting in on such a great show," Raiban shouted, "we have such lovely ladies from each team."
"Hey, what about me" Rocker shouted
"Who cares," Raiban said a bit too harshly
"Oh, come on, man," Rocker shouted
"Come on, Lucy," Natsu screamed
"We know you can do it," Erza said
"If she uses Aquarius, she can knock 'em all out," Gray said, "the only real threat is Juvia."
"Lucy should have this one in the bag," Michelle said
"I wouldn't count out Juvia," Kinana said "she was made for this kind of stuff," she reasoned, "not to mention she was a former S-class wizard in the phantom lord guild."
"Come on, Lu," Levy said. "I'm rooting for you," Lecy said
"I hope Sabertooth doesn't try something underhanded," Droy noted, " they've been acting weird." he said, "that Minerva girl keeps glaring at Lucy,
"Not to mention Risley," Jet said. "Mermaid is in her guild's name." the gong rand signaling that the game was allowed to start

"Look like I'll get the party started," Lucy said "{open gate of the water bearer: Aquarius}" she screamed as Aquarius appeared in the water.
"What," Sherria asked
"a spirit," Jenny muttered.
"a fellow mermaid, huh," Risley said "this is going to be interesting. "
"This my domain, you bimbos," Aquarius screamed "so get lost," she shouted as Lucy grabbed onto her and held as tightly as she could as Aquarius shot out a blast of water.
"Look like it's my turn," Juvia shouted "{water: cyclone}" she called as she shot out a blast of water both slashed, sending everyone swirling around. "Juvia will not lose."
"Am I going crazy," Wakaba asked, "or is Juvia taking on Aquarius," he asked.
"I wonder which is stronger," Katja asked
"This game is already crazy." Levy groaned
"Good luck out there, Juvia," Mira shouted. "Lucy, maybe you could tone it down a bit."
"Your cheerleading has gotten rusty over the past seven years," Gajeel muttered.
"So big head," Cana asked. She was filling in for Jellal, who wanted to lay low for the day after nearly getting caught the previous day "so who do you think is going to win."
"isn't it obvious," Gajeel said, "put Juvia in water, and that was all she wrote"
"Just because we trained together doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you," Aquarius said as their attack clashed "what we're even," she shouted.
"As long as Juvia's darling is watching, she refuses to lose," Juvia shouted.
"Oh, so you think you're cute" Aquarius shouted
"Juvia is the adorable." Juvia shot back,
"Man, Aquarius is kicking all kinds of but," Natsu said
"Yeah," Wendy said, "she and Juvia are evenly matched."
"Man," Risley said, "they're really going at it."
"Which means it's my time to strike," Jenny said as she swam up to Rocker "no boys allowed," she screamed, kicking him out of the water.
"that's not wild," Rocker screamed as the male half of the audience let cheer while the female half let out a groan. Once again, they robbed of their eye candy "nobody loves wild."
"Talk about an underhanded way to win," Gajeel muttered
"Well, it is effective," Mira said
"I don't think that was a compliment," Cana told her
"It looks like I should get started too," Sherria shouted as she tried to attack Risley, only for her to become skinny. She smiled as Sherria turned around
"don't underestimate chubby power, kid," Risley shouted
"This is taking too long," Aquarius called. "I need to go."
"But I need your help to win this," Lucy called, "what could be more important."
"My boyfriend," Aquarius said with stars in her eyes as she vanished, scaring Lucy.
"Looks like Aquarius is leaving her wizard to meet up with her man," Lola said

"How cliche," Raiban muttered
"Without your trump card, your mine," Juvia shouted.
Lucy panicked as she tried to escape. "I could use some help here," she shouted as Aries and Virgo appeared, pulling her out of the way of the attack.
"Sorry we're late," Aries said "are you okay, Ms. Lucy" she based as the crowd gave a loud cheer.
"we're your sexy defenders," Virgo said, "though I would rather be on the solid ground, princess."
"Be careful," Lucy said. "Juvia is a strong one."
"Summon all of your pets," Juvia shouted, "they can't help you."
"They're not my pets," Lucy called "you know that"
"You wanna play with the big girl blondie" Risley shouted as she kept dodging Jenny.
"you're going down," Jenny shouted.
"Keep ignoring me, and you'll end up on your but," Sherria shouted
"Sherria is going all in," Wendy said
"You looking for a rematch," Natsu asked
"Yeah," Wendy said, "and next time, I might pull out our little trick," she said, giving him a wink.

"Why didn't you do this trick yesterday then," Gray asked
"It slipped my mind," Wendy admitted

"time for Juvia to quit playing around," Juvia said, "she will show you why she was an S-class wizard of the phantom lord," she screamed as her body merged with the water "now fell the rath of Juvia of the great sea "{wings of love}" she screamed as large cyclone tore through the bubble sending waves all over the place as Sherria, Jenny, and Risley were shot out of the bubble landing them on the ground as Juvia smiled "and don't you forget it" she shouted.
"Impressive," Minerva muttered as she moved the attack around her
"I'm not sure if my wool wall can block it, Lucy," Aries cried
"Princess," Virgo called, "cover your but"
looks like winning this thing isn't all that's on Juvia's mind," Erza told Gray, to which he nodded
"I wasn't even there, and I know what nonsense there talking about" "she deserves a straight answer. Then again, who am I to lecture others on matters of the heart,"

"I can see why your skills are so valued," Minerva said
"You're impressive for dodging my attack," Juvia said, "so I will take you down."
"as much as I would love to take you on," Minerva said, "this tiger wants to feast on a fairy" she waved her hand as Juvia swam to her, forcing her out of the bubble, much to everyone's shock. "I won this game the moment I entered the ring," she said, "but I want to make fairy tail sweat."
"what" Gray screamed.
"Juvia," Lucy shouted as Juvia landed on the ground 'what kind of magic is that.
"that's territory magic," Natsu said "it explains how she redirected my attack," Natsu said
"You know this magic" Erza asked
"it's magic that can control space," Natsu said
"The fact that she can use it so casually," Mira muttered, "Lucy's in trouble."
"You are sure," Cana said
"She moved Juvia out of the ring by just waving her finger," Gajeel said. "Lucy's in over her head."
"Look like we're down to our final two," Lola shouted, "but where did her celestial spirits go."
"I'm guessing she sent them back to conserve energy," Yajima said.
"Milady is mischievous," Sting said "she could have won at the start, he said, "but she chose to let them take each other out,"
"Yeah, that fairy doesn't stand a chance," Lector said
"Looks like we're down to a one-on-one," Lola shouted "will the Sabertooth tigers take the gold, or will fairy tail snatch it from them" Lola called. "The five-minute rule is now in effect."
"Is there a reason for this rule," Yajima asked.
"You have to keep your audience at the edge of their seat," Raiban said
"I could launch you out of here before you had time to blink" Minerva gave a sinister smile, "but the crowd came for a show, so be sure to scream," she said as the water heated up around Lucy, blasting her back
"She heated the water," Erza asked
"No Lucy," Natsu screamed
"I need a spirit," Lucy muttered, only for her keys to disappear and appear in Minerva's hand. She smiled as she waved them in front of her blasting her again, nearly knocking her out of the bubble though she managed to stop herself 'damn it,' Lucy said, "I need to do something."
"Come on," Happy muttered.
"If she can't get her keys, then she's done for," Carla said
"Impressive," Minerva said, "and here I thought you were the weakest link," she said as she blasted Lucy forward, preventing her from falling out.
"Hit me with your best shot," Lucy shouted "cause I'm not backing down," Lucy called as she tried to rush forward again, only for her arm to be blown away. "I'll keep fighting."
"You sure you don't want out of this torment" Minerva smiled "you fairies are a stubborn bunch," she smiled, "but that makes you all the more fun to break," she screamed as she created another explosion, forcing Lucy back again as the timer went off.
"Look like it now just a battle for the top spot," Local called
"Lucy," Juvia muttered, "come on, you can do this," she said
"You will learn your place," Minerva screamed "we are Sabertooth, the closet guild to the heavens," she called "remember that the next time you decide to crawl from the hole and forget your place," she called as she kicked Lucy around "are you getting the lesson," she said
"This is sick," Cana muttered
"she's playing dirty," Gajeel growled
"Stop it" Natsu screamed as the members of Sabertooth just smiled
"you're going to pay for this," they all said in response
"What a brutal beat down," Rabian said, "we need to stop this fight."
Mato raised his hand as the bubble started to disappear as Minerva held Lucy above the ground, smiling at her handy work.
"It doesn't look like Lucy is moving," Lalo said, "someone gets the paramedics on the field."
"Lucy," Juvia shouted as she ran to her friend, landing on the ground as she could hear everyone else run into the arena as well
