The group was in the front door of Fairy Tail. Lucy and Shinpachi have never seen the so famous guild themselves in real life, so seeing the building up close was something else. The building was a mixture of both old and new with pieces of technology across the structure.

''Oh my lord! Is huge.'' Said Lucy

''Yes, there is no doubt that someone would mistake this building with something else.'' Said Shinpachi.

''Let's get inside, I have to talk with some people.'' Said Natsu all pissed.

''Oh I see where this is going.'' Said Gintoki

The all went inside and saw the place crowded. Full of all kind of people, there were humans and even some aliens presents. There were TVs on various channels across the place and tables full of drinks and foods. It looked like a place where people would get around to have fun.

''Wow this place is packed.'' Said Lucy

''Hey are those amanto with the fairy Tail symbol?'' Asked Shinpachi

''Yes, a few races wanted to join. At first we didn't want but then we open our heart.'' Said Natsu

''Some of these amantos are cool. They gave us free stuff if they become members.'' Said Happy

''I still don't like that this decision.'' Said Gintoki

The group kept walking and saw a beautiful white haired woman serving foods and drinks across the guild.

''Wow, that's Mirajane Strauss the famous mage from Sorcery Weekly.'' Said Lucy with a big smile.

''Yes, she is so pretty in person too. It's hard to believe that she is a model and the poster girl around here.'' Said Shinpachi seeing the white haired woman.

''Uh do you read that junk?' Asked Gintoki

''My sister read that magazine, I couldn't helped it but also check it out.'' Said Shinpachi.

''Sure, I guess when Jump or Kodansha are both on a break we have little option left.'' Said Gintoki

''We are home!'' Scream Natsu

''Natsu, Happy, Gintoki welcome back.'' Said Mirajane

The fire mage soon started to run towards a random member of the guild, the new members didn't know what was going on but Gintoki knew.

''Oh boy not again.'' Said Gintoki much to the confusion of both Lucy and Shinpachi

A random member of Fairy Tail with buckteeth was having a good chat with his friends, that would be a good conversation until Natsu break them apart.

''Ha! Hey Natsu, you overdid again. I saw all about the Harujion incident on the tv and…'' Said the buckteeth guy and he got a kick in the face.

''You bastard! The info you gave me about the salamander was fake!'' Scream Natsu

Soon a fight started to break inn between Natsu and a few random members. Chaos was being spread around in Fairy Tail while some would seen this as bad, the people around were pretty much seeing this a something you see every day. Lucy and Shinpachi just saw that and were both terrified.

''I really came to Fairy Tail?" Asked Lucy in shock and disbelief.

''This is how Fairy Tail really acts!'' Scream Shinpachi.

''Yes, this is the reality. If you want to quit the door is right there.'' Said Gintoki.

''Well I can't quit right now after everything that just happen. I am sticking with you.'' Said Shinpachi.

''I guess I can't blame you. Seeing how you were living before I show up you need something else in your life.'' Said Gintoki

Soon a young man with black hair, a silver necklace and just wearing underwear appeared behind Gintoki.

''Hey Gintoki.'' Said Gray Fullbuster.

''Sup Gray.'' Said Gintoki

''Can you point me where is Natsu? I want to settle the score for our fight.'' Said Gray

''Oh Gray, have you been walking like that for a while?" Asked the brown haired mage Cana Alberona.

''Oh come on!'' Scream Gray seeing that he was only in his underwear

''Another one of those undignified guys. That I really hate.'' Said Cana lamenting before taking a barrel of booze and drinking down.

''What!' Scream Lucy and Shinpachi seeing that in horror.

''Hey Gintoki, you are cute. How about we both have a barrel?'' Asked Cana.

''Not in the mood Cana, besides I don't want ended up in the hospital again. Last time they almost took out my liver.'' Said Gintoki

''What a bunch of rubbish.'' Said a giant which turn out to be Elfman Strauss.

''Hey Elfman.'' Said Gintoki while poking his ear.

''We have few man presents in this place. You all just yap around in the middle of the day like a bunch of little kids. Fight for real and show that you both are real man!"' Scream Eflman running towards the two.

''SHUT UP!'' Scream Natsu and Gray sending the big guy flying away.

''HE GOT OWNED!"' Scream Lucy and Shinpachin in shock.

''So noisy in here.'' Said a new person. The pretty boy of the guild Loki.

''Wow that's Loki. The top ranked ´´mage you want to have as your boyfriend´´.'' Said Lucy in shock.

''Is he really a trustworthy guy?" Asked Shinpachi

That turn out to be a lie, because Loki was surrounded by other girls in his arms. All pretty much talking about how handsome he was.

''Come on ladies, let's go to quiet place. So we can make our own noise.'' Said Loki.

''Oh Loke I love you.'' Said the girls near him.

''Oh come on!'' Scream both Lucy and Shinpachi.

Lucy and Shinpachi were not both under the impression that this place was like a nut house. Full of crazy people.

''This place is full of not normal people.'' Said Lucy

''Oh my two newcomers.'' Said Mirajane seeing the two new faces.

''Mirajane!'' Said the two newcomers

''She usually like to great people.'' Said Gintoki while having his arms crossed.

''Oh the real Mirajane is talking to us!''' Said Lucy amazed at that.

''shouldn't you stop them?" Asked Shinpachi.

''No, this happens all the time. You don't have to worry about it.'' Said Mira with a smile seeing the chaos. In the midst of that confusion a bottle of wine flied toward her and hit her head, putting the poor girl out.

''Mirajane!'' Scream Lucy and Shinpachi in horror.

''She will live.'' Said Gintoki

''Its fun.' Said her with a smile while bleeding.

''See.'' Said Gintoki

''This is a nightmare!"' Scream Shinpachi

As the fight kept going Natsu decided to play dirty and stole Gray underwear. That wouldn't be bad if that wasn't the only thing that he was wearing at the moment.

''Oh boy, here we go.'' Said Gintoki all bored.

''Hey Gray, nice view.'' Said Natsu with a smirk

''Come on Natsu!'' Scream Gray now super naked.

''AAAAAAAAH!" Scream Lucy and Shinpachi being fleshed by that pervert.

''Lady , if you don't mind please lend me you underwe…'' Said Gray and that got him a punch in the face.

Soon Loke came to the scene and took Lucy to his arms.

''Save yourself glasses.'' Said Loke with a smile.

''You also have glasses!' Scream Shinpachi.

''Man shouldn't fight like this!'' Scream Elfman ready to fight.

''You are getting in the way!"' Scream Natsu putting Elfman out again.

''I can't even drink peacefully here? Guys, its time to end this!'' Said Cana taking out her cards

Everyone was ready to do a big finishing final move towards each other. It would be a big explosion for sure.

''What is going on!"' Scream Lucy

''We are going to die!'' Scream Shinpachi

Soon a big shadow figure came into the mess. It was so massive that you couldn't make it what was standing right in front of everyone.

''Cut it out, you fools!" Scream the giant figure

The presence of the figure made Lucy and Shinpachi embrace each other for the worst.

''AAAAAAH!" Scream the two.

However much to their surprise, everyone stopped the fight and became quiet. This wasn't what they weren't expecting.

''Hey master.'' Said Gintoki all calm.

''MASTER!'' Scream Lucy and Shinpachi

''Ha! You all got scared of me! I knew I was stro…'' Said Natsu all cocky and then the giant figure steps on the pink haired mage.

He then saw Lucy and Shinpachi and they were both started to sweat in fear again.

Soon the giant figure turned into a tiny old man, much to Lucy and Shinpachi confusion.

''Oh sorry for all this confusion. Sometimes you need to put a show to get peoples attention.'' Said the master Makarov Dreyar.

The master soon jumped to the highest place that he could find to start reading some complains that he got from the higher ups.

''You all done it again you fools, Look at these documents I received from the the council. First Gray, good job on sweeping out the smugglings organization, but you walked around naked in town afterwards and ran away after stealing underwear's that were being dried. Elfman! You had a mission to escort a vip Amanto but assaulted him during the mission. Cana you were seen drinking 15 barrels of alcohol and charged into the council, Loki you were flirting with council member elder Reiji granddaughter. Alzack, levy, Kulov, Reedus, Warren, Visca, Max and Wakaba you got some notes but nothing serios. Oh, dear lord Natsu, you destroyed the devon thief family, but also destroyed 7 other houses that belong to the townspeople, levelling a historical clock tower in Tully Village, burning down a church in Fressia, damaging parts of Lupinus Castle, the Nazuna Ravien observatory collapse and thus stopped its operation and you destroyed half of the Harujion port. Finally, Gintoki, you caused a lot of ruckus yesterday when you stole a police car.'' Said Makarov listing all the problems that his guildmembers did.

''In my defense I need it a way to get up. They were about to turn his sister into a prostitute.'' Said Gintoki pointing at Shinpachi, making everyone in shock.

''don't say that out loud!"' Scream him.

''Hey I saved the girl, crash a police car and stop an illegal cabaret.'' Said Gintoki.

''You always get the crazy ones.'' Said Gray with a smirk.

''Guys, the council members are angry at me all the time. The shinsegumi is also driving me nuts thanks to your recently activities. I know most of you don't like them but we need to accept it.'' Said Makarov.

The master at first was looking angry however he got a smirk on his face.

''But forget about the council members.'' Said him with a big smile.

Then he burned the papers contained the companies and Natsu eat them no problem.

''The power to overcoming reasoning is born from reasoning. Magic is not a miracle, even after the amanto have come to our planet we still preach that ideology, just because things aren't the same that means the old ways are dead. When the ´´spirit´´ flows with us and the ´´spirit´´ flow in nature connects, they will form an embodiment for the first time. You will need a strong mentality and a lot of concentration for that. I mean, pouring all of your would into whatever you do is the magic. If you keep worrying about the watchful eyes of the council, the amanto higher ups and the Shinsegumi, your magic won't improve. The crowd went nuts with their master announcement, Makarov really knew to raise everyone spirit and forget all about their problem. Lucy and Shinpachi were all amazed on how much confidence and power the Fairy Tail master had.

''Wow that was amazing.' Said Lucy

''He made everyone from feeling bad to feeling good again!?'' Asked Shinpachi in shock.

''That is what the master does.'' Said Gintoki

Soon Mirajane came to see Lucy and Shinpachi.

''So I heard that you two wanted to become Fairy Tail members?" Asked her.

''Yes, we would like to join inn.'' Said Shinpachi and Lucy also nods.

''Ok, all I need is to put this mark on your body. This way people will know that you are a from a guild.'' Said Mira holding a stamp.

''No, it's doesn't do anything. Now chose a place and a color.'' Said Mira holding the stamp.

Soon they were both stamped with their guild marks and on the color of their choice.

''Good, now we need just one more thing for you two become official members.'' Said Mira

''Oh really?" Asked Lucy

''We just need you two to sign some papers and take a picture. Sorry, it's the new policy after the Amanto took over, which I kind like. We can to carry out these little beauty everywhere.'' Said Mirajane holding her ID card with a big smile on her face.

The two soon filled out their papers and took their pictures. In a few minutes Mira handled them their identification cards.

''Congratulation you two. Welcome to Fairy Tail.'' Said Mira all happy.

''Hey Natsu, look I became an official Fairy Tail member.'' Said Lucy all happy.

''that's good Luigi.'' Said Natsu while eating spicy food.

''Is Lucy!" Scream her

''Gintoki I am now a member. We can start working.'' Said Shinpachi.

''Oh good let me just have my drink and we can start.'' Said Gintoki.

''Here it is Gintoki.'' Said Mira putting a glass full of some pink liquid.

The silver haired member drank that and immediately spits out.

''Blergh!"' Said him not liking at all.

''Gross!'' Said Lucy

''Mira what is this crap?!'' Asked Gintoki

''Is a vitamin. Its with strawberry, low-fat yogurt and no sugar added it at all.' Said Mira

''Its disgusting, this should be on the toilet and not on a cup!'' Said Gintoki.

''Your sugar levels are getting to high. We heard that there is a chance that you can get diabetes. You need to start taking care of yourself.'' Said Mira.

''Yeah, but I don't want to drink crap like this!'' Said Gintoki all pissed.

''You really need to start going easy on the sugar Gintoki. You are not getting any younger.'' Said Gray.

''Yeah, you still eat like a kid and not a man.'' Said Elfman

''I wonder if I still have some leftover chocolate on my desk.'' Thought Gintoki.

Soon Makarov walked toward Gintoki.

The silver haired man just looked away a little embarrassed, because he knew the answer.

''Listen, I got things covered. I fixed some stuff and that should cover my rent.'' Said Gintoki all certain.

Soon someone else arrived at the guild. By the looks it was an old woman.

''Oh hello miss Otose.'' Said Mira with a smile.

''Too late. The demon has arrived!"' Scream Makarov

An old man with dark brown hair and wearing a black kimono. She was also smoking a cigarette and she looked pissed.

''WHERE IS MY RENT YOU ASSHOLE?!'' Asked Otose all pissed at Gintoki

''Listen here you old bag, I haven't eaten yet! Let me be at peace before you start tearing me down!' Scream Gintoki

The members of Fairy Tail started to laugh at that while Lucy and Shinpachi just looked at that scene in confusion.

''Who is that?" Asked Lucy

''That is lady Otose. She operates the bar next to us, so we consider her a dear friend. She also is Gintoki landlord, she is always mad at him because he skips rent every time.'' Said Mira.

''What! He doesn't get paid a lot?" Asked Shinpachi in horror.

''Gintoki is a good person, but he tends to not full fill his jobs when asked.'' Said Mira with a smile

The poor kid with glasses just sulked at that. He entered this crazy guild because he wanted to work with Gintoki, despite his heroic moment he saw the true nature of the silver haired man.

''But he is still one of the most brave and sincere people that we have on the guild. He is the only one that has the courage to talk back to miss Otose, nobody wants to do that since she legally owns most of this place.'' Said Mira.

''What?" Asked Lucy

''Half this building is owned by lady Otose, we were in deep debt a decade ago. We almost shut down but she paied off the debts and in return we gave her half the shares of the guild and ownership. So in a sense she is also kind like the master.'' Said Mira with a smile.

The two kept seeing Otose and Gintoki kept arguing with each other.

''I don't see any money in your hands. If you don't have that amount than sell your liver or your useless balls, shit head!'' Scream Otose.

''Hey last time I fixed your video. That makes up for the rent!'' Scream Gintoki.

''No excuses! You own me five months' worth of rent! And the video broke again! The ´´Onihei Hankachou´´ was a complete failure´´.'' Said Otose all annoyed.

''Oh come on, stop bitiching about that it will be on repeat soon. How about some nice time alone with Gray? This should count as few months of rent?" Asked Gintoki with that offer.

The silver haired samurai got his face smashed into some pasta and losing any sign of credibility possible.

Once the old woman was out everyone started to laugh at Gintoki.

Shinpachi was on the floor, just in shock to see the guy that save him and his sister be taken out by an old woman.

As Gintoki got up and cleaned his face, he knew that he had things to do.

''Shinpachi. I know I might look like a loser but I still have my pride. Let's go to my office to discuss our next move.' Said Gintoki.

''Can I come too? I am new and you guys clearly need help.'' Said Lucy.

''Well ok, just so you know I am a freelancer. I do work that aren't mostly on the board of mission. People ask me stuff and I do, that's the way of my ´´Odd Jobs´´ association.'' Said Gintoki.

The three went towards the back where there was a door. Gintoki pulled the key and open he door, showing off a room with good furniture, a desk, a tv and a big sign on the wall.

''This is your office?'' Asked Lucy.

''Yes, I created a few years ago. The rent of this unit is also added to my rent. I tried to live in here but its against the stupid law.'' Said Gintoki siting on his chair.

The blonde and glasses kid soon sit on the couches, while Gintoki appeared to not be caring about the almost eviction that he suffered a few minutes ago. Lucy was more interested on why he had a big sign that said:

''Everyone there looked so happy and not worry about money.'' Said Shinpachi.

''Yes, because most of them are poor and live in tight spaces.'' Said Gintoki.

''Well its because she does her own stuff. If you two want we can look for a job right now, I am not getting any reception on this thing.'' Said Gintoki.

Soon they went out of his office and towards the board of mission.

''Hey Gintoki, want some of my food?" Asked Natsu.

''I am not in the mood to sleep at the toilet tonight.'' Said Gintoki.

''Why is Gintoki doesn't take regular jobs?" Asked Lucy to Natsu.

''Its not that he doesn't take regular jobs, is his code of samurai. Most of the jobs involve Amanto in some sort and since those guys pretty much outlaw samurais he has a bit of a grudge against them.'' Said Natsu with a good explanation.

The blonde and glasses kid felt a little better hearing that. This was at least something.

''Also he is lazy, gets distracted and keeps messing up. And you thought I was bad.'' Said Natsu with a smirk.

''Aye Gintoki is truly lazy.'' Said Happy.

Lucy and Shinpachi went to the bord of missions to see if there was something easy for them to do. It would be easy money and a good way to start.

''Ok let's see what we have here.'' Said Lucy.

''Perfect, this is something easy for us.'' Said Lucy.

While they were about to ask to do the mission they saw Makarov talking with a little boy.

''Who is that?" Asekd Lucy.

''that's Romeo, he is the son of one of the members Macao.'' Said Gintoki.

'Is my daddy back?" Asked Romeo.

''No.'' Said Makarov.

''But he said he would come back in 3 days but its been a week since then. Please look for him master! I am worried!"' Said Romeo.

''No way! Your dad is a mage! We have no mage here that can't take care of himself! Go home and drink your milk and watch tv or something!'' Said Makarov.

Then Romeo in a fit of rage punch the master right in the face.

''Idiot!'' Said him.

''Ouch.'' Said Makarov

''Very strict in here, isn't?' Asked Lucy to Mirajane.

''Yes, but the master likes that. Don't worry he is also worried about Macao.'' Said Mirajane.

''But I still think is duchy of him to talk to a kid like that.'' Said Shinpachi.

Then Romeo saw Gintoki and ran towards him.

''Gintoki!'' Said Romeo grabbing the silver haired man by the leg.

''Woah! Careful Romeo.'' Said Gintoki.

''You are a freelancer! I will pay you to rescue my dad!'' Said Romeo.

''How much do you have?" Asked Ginotki

The boy looked on his pocket to see what kind money he had at the moment.

''I have 3,000 jewels and I was drinking some chocolate milk.'' Said Romeo.

''Make a strawberry milk and you got a deal.'' Said Gintoki

''I will get it right now!'' Said Romeo running off.

''Gintoki did you seriously asked for Romeo about his money?" Asked Mira

''Jees Mira, that's the way that odd Jobs work. We will do anything as long as we get paid. We are not holy people that do things because its right. Get ready Shinpachi, we are about go off.'' Said Gintoki.

'''What! We are taking this quest?" Asked Shinpachi.

''Yes, we are going to rescue Macao. The pay isn't much but it's a start.'' Said Gintoki.

''I am going too.'' Said Natsu all serious.

Gintoki saw Natsu face and knew what this was all about.

''Sure, get ready.'' Said Gintoki.

''Why is Natsu so serious right now?" Asked Lucy

''Because the same thing happened to Natsu.'' Said Mira.

''What do you mean?" Asked Lucy.

''Natsu father hasn't come back ever since he left. Thought by father, I meant a foster father and he is a dragon.'' Said Mira

Lucy and Shinpachi almost felled from their seats upon hearing that.

''A dragon!'' Scream Lucy

''But I thought dragons were extinct. They haven't been sight in over 400 years.'' Said Shinpachi.

''Yes, although Natsu still believes that he will return some day. That dragon was the one that thought Natsu how to read, write, hunt and all sort of stuffs. However, one day he disappeared and ever since then Natsu has been trying to find him again.'' Said Mirajane.

''I see so that's Igneel.'' Said Lucy

''He has been looking for him for a long time?" Asked Shinpachi.

''Oh yes, he has been on this search since he was 10 years old.'' Said Mira

''What about Gin-sama?" Asked Shinpachi

''Gintoki has been here for a while. I was already a member when he arrived and he looked like he went through hell. Carrying that wooden sword and pretty much talking about the honor of the samurais.'' Said Mira.

''Wow, do you know anything about his parents or something?" Asked Lucy

''He never spoke about his past. He hates when its brought up. We tried to make him speak but he refuses so we stopped asking him.'' Said Mira.

''What happened to him in the past?' Asked Lucy.

''Nobody knows.'' Said Lucy.

Lucy felt a little bit intrigued by that. Gintoki mysterious nature and Natsu bizarre upbring, they were about to search for a little boy father. Natsu because he feels that is right while Gintoki was paid to do it. She felt this should be her first mission.

''Gintoki! Natsu! Shinpachi! Let me go with you three.'' Said Lucy.

''Really?! You wanna go?" Asked Shinpachi.

''Ok, but its going to be a bit long until we arrived to where Macao was.'' Said Gintoki.

''How we will get there?' Asked Lucy.

''We will go by scooter. You can go with me and glasses here can go on the side car. You are tiny already.'' Said Gintoki.

''don't act all noble! We all know why you want her on the seat and me out!'' Said Shinpachi.

''No its true, the side car can hold someone small and you are the perfect height.'' Said Natsu bring the side car.

''Yes, so buckled up.'' Said Happy.

''What a terrible first impression.'' Said Shinpachi all sad.

''You will get used to being mocked.'' Said Gintoki.

''Just be happy that Erza isn't here.'' Said Natsu.

''Aye sir this would be so bad.' Said Happy.

''So lets get going. Here is a helmet for you and you.'' Said Gintoki giving the helmets for Lucy and Shinpachi.

''What about you Natsu?" Asked Lucy

''I don't need that. I will be running alongside you guys. I know the point towards the mountain, unfortunately we will need to take a snow car after a certain point. This will be bad.'' Said Natsu all sick already.

''it's an hour by scooter. After that we will need to get into the snow car like Natsu said.'' Said Gintoki.

''Ok so lets get going.'' Said Shinpachi.

''that's good enough.'' Said Natsu.

''By the way Lucy, why you really want to help out in this mission really?" Asked Happy

''Because I want to do something to help fairy tail.'' Said Lucy

''She just want to start making a name for herself.'' Said Happy.

''This is sad.'' Said Gintoki.

''You are a more pathetic than I!'' Said Lucy.

''And I am stuck working with you!'' Said Shinpachi.

''Ok, lets stop pointing fingers and keep moving.'' Said Gintoki.

''On it! Let's get Macao back.'' Said Natsu.

A few hours later.

The group got to the station that would take them to the mountains. After a few minutes they got into the snow car and went out, however it was a big storm coming out so it was going to be impossible to keep moving.

''This is far as I can go.'' Said the driver.

''Thanks we can take care from here.'' Said Natsu.

For Gintoki who was with a good amount of cover and Natsu who was a fire mage that wasn't nothing. But for two newbies that was a pure nightmare.

''It's so cold!' Scream them

Lucy and Shinpachi saw that they were now on a huge cold mountain, with no idea of how to survive there.

This was a fun chapter to write. Stablishign Gintoki as a fairy Tail member was really fun. It shows the lore and things to come. Don't worry he is still an odd one, lazy, do things his way and doesn't pay rent. Those are the things that make Gintoki unique and not just some lazy shonen character. He is really someone that I would read endless about.

Next chapter is the continuation of the Macao arc and what would the group do in the situation that they are at the moment?
